Hi, Sciarra! We're excited to have the chance to talk to you about your recent track release, "Surrender It All". The track featured a strong production, which creates such a vibrant and dramatic experience for listeners. What was the ultimate intention for this track, and how did you really want your listeners to be left with after listening?

I have always been drawn to orchestral music since I was a kid. I grew up figure skating and I did programs to various soundtracks which is where my love for the style originally came from. With this song, I really wanted to bring in more trailer like sounds and give it a soundtrack feel. But I also still wanted to keep the electronic elements as electronic music has always been such a big influence for me. I want the listener to feel like the song took them to another place. One of my favorite things about this particular style is the fact that it can always take you to new places and feel like you took a small break from reality.

You're definitely an artist that flourishes in expression. Your music covers an array of expressive melodies and brings about many different topics. Would you say that there was an overall understanding listener should've come to while listening along to "Surrender It All", or were you comfortable with leaving the track open for interpretation?

I wrote this song about the monster that lives inside our minds that we are constantly trying to battle. We find ourselves trying to run from it but realize that we can’t keep running and have to come to terms with it to keep ourselves moving forward. We all go through dark times feeling angry, sad, or emotional but in those times we feel the most alone. I want people to know that they are never alone and hope that this song can have a true impact on them to keep going and have music they can relate to.

What would you say ultimately compelled you to use haunting vocals and emotional progressions in "Surrender It All"? Would you say you attempt to introspectively think about how to stimulate the senses of your listeners, and ultimately how to get them to feel a strong connection to your music?

I felt that the haunting vocals and emotional progressions really get the message through to the listener. I want them to truly feel what I am trying to convey in the song and for it to be an experience every time they listen as if they were watching a movie.

What are some steps you want to take with your future music? Are you comfortable residing with where your music is now, or do you plan to switch up any aspects of your sound?

I want to explore the sound more and use it in different ways. My songs will always have emotional progressions and cinematic elements but I have songs that I am currently working on that are less heavy with more of a pop structure. I also won’t always be covering darker topics but also will have songs that will be more enchanting and inspirational so the listener can have a song to listen to no matter what they may be feeling that day.

What can we expect to see from you throughout 2020?

I am currently working on new music that I will be releasing throughout 2020 and the big goal is to tour in 2021!
