Up And Coming Rapper YngMugi Drops Raw Rhymes In “Memories”

Born in Tanzania, the talented YngMugi moved to Canada at the age of 3, eventually settling in Edmonton, Alberta. Always interested in music, Yngmugi described his main influence to be J Cole. “Higher” was the first Cole track he ever heard and was instantly hooked. YungMugi was able to focus more on the lyrics rather than the beat/melody and that in turn allowed his music to come with a strong lyrical presence. Before he even had thoughts on being an artist, YngMugi used to love to write poems. He was fascinated by rhyme schemes and started taking being a rapper seriously by the age of 16.

YngMugis’s latest track “‘Memories” (Produced by Base.Rec) is all about YungMugi using his music as an outlet for his emotions, spitting his truth and starting this track off to an incredible start. The dope and truthful lyrics showcase YngMugi’s emotive songwriting and realism with his pleading vocalism. “Memories” explodes through the speakers with a hard-hitting bass line. It’s a sick track equipped with a dynamic sound and bass-filled beats, YngMugi is sure to have you vibing along. His vocals are deep and hypnotizing and his smooth flow and flawless bars can be accredited to his years of experience and raw talent.  YngMugi’s upbeat flow and flawless witty bars make “Memories” unparalleled in today’s hip-hop scene. Getting a message across, effortlessly reciting perfect lyrics, and finding/creating beats to match is YngMugi’s specialty.
