Welcome to BuzzMusic, Vaxxo. We're banging our heads to each firey beat of your new single, "Give Me Life." What inspired such a powerful and heavy anthem like this?

This is a song about love and anger happening simultaneously! It's a tune that depicts a struggle between trying to fight the demons inside oneself and trying to achieve love. Although written in 2019, the song applies well to the present when so many are dealing with challenges such as mental health, bullying, etc...

What did you want to get across to listeners with your empowering lyrics in "Give Me Life?" What did you want them to take away?

The idea behind "Give Me Life" was to show fans that no matter what their struggles are, they need to preserve and find inner peace. The takeaway is that you should not let things consume you.

Did you work with any musicians or producers when creating the heavy-hitting instrumentals for "Give Me Life?" What was that process like in the studio?

Yes! This was a tune produced by Sugarmill Productions in Toronto (Ben Pelchat and Josh Macintosh). Working with people that think alike is amazing and makes the process easier! Working collaboratively, the ideas flow freely. The song was created during three studio sessions. The focus was on having fun and allowing the creation to come to life.

We noticed that "Give Me Life" is your first release since 2020. Has your music changed over evolved over the past two years?

Although I try to keep a similar concept when releasing new songs, there are always changes as my music style continues to evolve. As a reflection of the last two years and all that has happened in the world, "Give Me Life" has a darker and more intense perspective. I believe that this is a concept that many can relate to.
