Via Ripa Has Arrived

New Jersey-based Alt-Rock band Via Ripa seems to have found their path in the short time they've been a band. The "Via Ripa" EP release is proof of just that. WIth a solid culmination of pop, jazz, surfy guitars, and alternative rock, this EP is an excellent showcase of musicianship and songwriting.

The single "Bath Ave." is like walking through a house party in slow motion. Wah-guitars swell while the jazzy funk gets you moving. Obviously a tight-knit outfit, Via Ripa lays down some deep grooves. Moving on to songs like "Fingertips" you get an upswing pop-rock feel but without losing that jazzy style. One thing is for sure, this band knows how to bring genres together with ease.
