Hey Willis Love, welcome to BuzzMusic! We’re mesmerized by the energy and loving atmosphere on your track “W.I.G.G. (Ft. Zoo Rass)”. Could you share what inspired you and Zoo Rass to create such a feel-good song?

Well I wrote the song last year around springtime and I was speaking on past experience with a previous love interest of mine, she was very curious about taking the next step in our dating phase so I decided to voice that experience through music. I built the beat to match the lyrics in my home studio and when I got to that second verse I felt like my brother Zoo Rass could take the song to another level with his tone and flow, so I sent him the demo and it was born from there.

Your track “W.I.G.G. (Ft. Zoo Rass)” gives off a very warm and passionate vibe to it through complex drum breaks and timeless rhythm. Could you elaborate on Willis Love’s creative process behind the track, and how you initially wanted it to feel?

When I first started the beat I wanted it to be sexy, smooth & still have energy that you can rock too, once I got the percussion and melody down I knew it needed a break or a drop to just give it a unique feel of it being my sound my music.

We’ve heard that Willis Love has produced various Dancehall compilations featuring different artists around the world. How do you think this may have helped your sound grow to be as diverse as it is today?

I first started doing dancehall compilations back in 2011 and I worked with so many different artists that have different tones and personalities sonically and I believed it opened up my ears musically.
