Having a passion for the arts from a young age, Nathan Ballard has been making music and film since he was 12 years old. At 26 years old Nathan had graduated with a business degree and landed a good job, but he wanted more. He left his old life behind to pursue his passion for making music. Nathan Ballard believes that “everyone deserves to be happy inside and out and share human connection, passions, and love… otherwise what are we here for.”
Nathan Ballard newest track “You & Me” is a sensational love anthem that we can’t get enough of! It fuses a diverse range of genres, from elements of pop and punk to indie and retro vibes. “You & Me” tells a light-hearted story of love, the upbeat ballad will have you toe-tapping and singing along. Nathan’s vocals register is impressive and finely-tuned well beyond his years. I love how well his vocal tone fuses with the high energy sound arrangements. “You & Me” resonates with me because it makes me think of the one I love. Welcome to BuzzMusic Nathan! “You & Me” is a powerful track! What is your favorite lyric? Why?
I would say “the stars grab me by the sky”. Ever since I was a kid I always looked up to the stars as a form of escape, hope, and wonder. It’s such a beautiful personal experience when you can lay out in the night, maybe put on one of your favorite albums and look up and get lost in the stars searching for yourself and soul. It also helps me realize not to take life to seriously because at the end of the day we are so small to the bigger picture and when you understand that it makes you wonder why we worry so much about things that we should let go of.
What do you hope listeners take away from hearing “You & Me”?
That true love does exist and it’s out there for everyone to experience. My parents are some of the strongest examples of true love and I want people to know everyone can have it and everyone deserves it.

Blink-182. The Cure. The Foals
What do you think sets you apart from other artists?
Everything I write is emotion based and comes from my heart. Sometimes I describe it as if my emotions come from within and the paper to those emotions and feelings catches it with words. I want people to feel and relate my music to them to help them get through any hardship in life or heighten any experience. Music has gotten me though so much but also has helps create memories. I love the fact that a song can take you back to any experience or certain point in your life in an instant. With music you can write a song for your personal experience, but people can be singing it back for there own reasons and the song is the medium that brings the artist and fans together to create this beautiful bond.
