A warm welcome back to BuzzMusic, Young God Blow! You’ve been extremely busy, and we love just how consistent you’ve been! What keeps you motivated to steadily produce a top-quality product for your audience to feast upon?

When I’m passionate about something I dedicate everything I can to that craft. Music, the music-making process and being able to give something for others to take in is such a blessed feeling. So whenever I feel like I might be in a slump the thought of that always pushes me, and if I’m going to be completely honest I’m sort of a perfectionist. I’m always looking for ways to get better with my craft, constantly trying to one-up my previous work so whatever I put out next tops what is already out.

How does the release of “Energy,” compare to the previously released single ‘11th Street?'

My goal for '11TH STREET' was to give my fans something chill to vibe to but also have it be something that they could lowkey turn up to. No matter what type of song I release anyone can distinguish the energy I put out because I make it unique to me and I take pride in that. So when I thought about it I realized I’m different than most because of that energy, and that’s what drove me to make "ENERGY." To basically flex how I’m on a different type of timing than most.

In your own words, what does this record mean to you? What do you hope that your audience takes away from the narrative locked into it?

This track is definitely true to me, I’m not self-absorbed and to be real when it comes to most things I could care less about being the best or standing out. But one thing I am confident in is my energy and how it truly is unmatched. I want my audience to take this as inspiration, we all have different energy and no one person's energy is better than the next but rather unique to you, be proud of that and let it shine. Being confident in who you are and what you bring is an important trait for life in general.

What has been your proudest career moment to date?

I can honestly say my proudest moment is scattered into tiny moments and all of those come from my engagement with my fans, people who dm me and tell me they really love what I put out and can’t wait for the next. What brought me to making music was how artists I loved inspired me and helped make me who I am today, so being able to do that for people has been such an accomplished feeling. I want to keep doing that for others.
