Rocker Aaron Sand turned heads and served nostalgia at its finest during the exclusive pre-screening of Pre Fab! The Story of One Man, His Drums, and the Band That Became The Beatles; a highly anticipated new documentary exploring the early roots of the world's most iconic band.
Held in New York City on June 11th, 2025, the intimate event brought together filmmakers, music historians, and industry insiders to celebrate the story behind The Quarry Men. This skiffle group would eventually evolve into The Beatles. Directed by Todd Thompson, Pre Fab! stars Colin Hanton (the original drummer of The Quarry Men) alongside Paul McCartney, Rod Davis, John Duff Lowe, Chas Newby, Billy Bragg, Joe Brown, Bob Harris, Peter Asher, Frank Allen, Mike Pender, and Beatles biographer Mark Lewisohn.
The film explores the cultural explosion of skiffle music in 1950s Britain, the teenage spirit it ignited, and how it laid the groundwork for the rock 'n' roll revolution to come. It's an emotional, historical deep dive that struck a chord with Sand.

Making a bold statement on the red carpet, Aaron channeled early 2000s rock nostalgia with signature flair, donning a vintage MTV t-shirt, distressed denim, leather boots, a trucker hat, and rectangular rimless sunglasses, all topped with a perfectly worn-in leather jacket. It was a look that screamed grunge meets glam, and fans couldn't get enough.
Sources inside the screening say Aaron was "glued to the screen from start to finish," visibly moved by the film's storytelling. "He was completely captivated," one attendee shared. "You could tell the music and history meant something to him."

After the screening, Aaron was spotted in deep conversation with director Todd Thompson, reportedly asking thoughtful and enthusiastic questions during the post-film Q&A. It's clear the documentary hit home for the artist, who's no stranger to musical reinvention himself.
Whether it's on stage or at a red carpet event, Aaron Sand continues to merge timeless influence with modern edge.
