BIG VENTI And OMRIZY Flex Their Unique Sound On House And Hip-Hop Hybrid, “Colosseum”

The talented LA artist continues to blur genre boundaries effortlessly.

With a sound defined by slick track rhythms, unforgettable synth melodies, and breathtaking vocal flair, artist and producer extraordinaire BIG VENTI brings vibes with every release.

Fresh from capping off a successful summer with his highly acclaimed album “By The Way,” this LA artist has been on a hot streak with no end. Combining his laid-back cadence with endless swagger and confidence, this talented MC only improves with time. Not one to be complacent in any sense, VENTI continues to push and innovate, and it’s only a matter of time before he breaks through even further.

Noting influences like Rick Ross, DaBaby, and Tyga, VENTI has created his unique sound, walking the line between hip-hop and electronic influences with an effortless flair. VENTI stands for “Visualize Everything Now Til’ Infinity,” with his expansive musical vision, this acronym fits his artistic ethos like a glove.

BIG VENTI'S musical sense feels vast, and his self-belief fuels a focus on winning and succeeding, driving his artistry to dizzying heights. Having already tasted success with releases like “Sunset Strip,” “By The Way,” and “Party Hills,” this artist remains hungry for success and remains ever-willing to put the work in to succeed.

If you’ve ever heard one of BIG VENTI’s releases before, the pure quality of “Colosseum” should be no surprise. Featuring Omrizy, who contributes to production duties, BIG VENTI once again impresses on this exciting release. In true BIG VENTI style, instrumentals that draw from house music influences are combined with a hip-hop lyrical approach.

The accompanying music video is also vintage BIG VENTI, as he shows us a live studio performance and practically oozes charisma from your screen. As he drops lyrics like “Shoot my shot like Curry / I’m way too clutch,” it feels like BIG VENTI’s on top of the world. Another standout performance from a standout artist.

BIG VENTI’s new release, “Colosseum,” sees the LA artist continue to thrive by staying true to the sound he’s created.

Welcome to BuzzMusic, BIG VENTI, we loved “Colosseum.” Your signature style shone through on this one! We wanted to ask, what was the initial vision for this release, and did the final version end up being similar or different?

This song started as a freestyle I did over a beat that Omrizy cooked up for me. The music had a larger-than-life energy, so the line “Do it big like a Colosseum” came out naturally when I was rapping in the booth. I decided to take that concept and run with it. They don’t call me “BIG” VENTI for nothing! My freestyle ended up being the released version.

What’s your creative process typically look like, and what’s your favorite part of that creative process?

The creative process for this particular track was a new experience for me. Typically, producers send me beats, and I record my vocals separately. This time, I had Omrizy working with me in the studio. He pushed me to sing innovative melodies and experiment with different sounds. Omrizy is a super talent! My favorite part of the creative process was collaborating with him musically.

You’re fresh off the release of your genre-defying album “By The Way,” right? Which tracks are you still enjoying from that album?

I can’t believe “By The Way” has only been out for two months. The response has been incredible. My song “UTOPIA” has been gaining a lot of traction lately. I think it’s mostly because there’s an authenticity in my lyrics that resonates with people when they listen. You can’t go wrong when you go real!

Who would be your dream collaborator, and why

There are too many dream collabs to count…but I know that if I had The Weeknd singing on my tracks, the vibes would be severe. Our styles and vocal tones would complement each other well.

What does the future have in store for BIG VENTI? What’s your next move, and is there anything you want to say to your fans?

My next move is working on the Party Hills 2 Album! The first Party Hills album became an instant classic on the Hollywood music scene. In many ways, it defined my brand and artistry. I’m ready to keep that energy going!
