Hi BuzzMusic! Thank you so much for showing support in regard to Left. It is greatly appreciated. I wrote this song as a kind of feel-good ballad. Every emotion that you may be feeling throughout your life is a matter of perspective. Whatever may be coming your way, face it with a smile on your face and a little dance move. Whatever happens, keep flexing!! That's the state of mind that I was in when I made this song.
Where is the best setting to listen to “Left” and what do you hope people take away from it?
I believe that any setting could be appropriate for listening to this track as anyone can relate to it. Although, if I had to chose I would say the best setting would be in a car on your way to a destination you have never yet been to. Or maybe listening to it after you've been hit with some bad news. If you just got dumped or you just lost your job, go listen to Left homie hahaha. I'd love it if people could listen to Left and walk away with a "F*** it attitude".
What’s your favorite lyric that you feel has the most impact in “Left”? Why?
My favourite line in Left is definitely the following: "If life is a b***h then damn it that h*e's nice." Everyone has their problems and has to face various obstacles throughout their lives. Although, in my case, when I sit down for a second and take time to reflect, I quickly realize that my problems can be considered as insignificant in comparison to someone else's worries. As soon as you start being appreciative of the things that you have, you start realizing how awesome your life actually is.
If you had to pick just one song in your collection to adequately describe your sound, which song would you choose and why?
It's quite hard to pick just one song as all of my songs tend to really vary in style and sound. If I had to pick one I would probably pick "Ganbei". It's quite an old song of mine but for some reason it still really resonates with me as it incorporates the type of sound that I'm striving for.
What other projects are you working on through the end of 2019?
I'm working on a few singles that will be released before the end of 2019, and hopefully maybe even releasing a small EP before the end of the year! A lot more to come.
