Claire's "FAKE" is filled with drama, acquiring an overall confident and alluring tone. Claire is very aggressive with the execution of her vocalism, which allows for the robust and fast-paced environment "FAKE" gives off. The track definitely starts off with the hard-hitting and rough vocalism of Claire, integrating into a more soft and harmonious tone as the track continues on. The beat is undeniable catchy, we have to admit.
Claire really picks the right tempo and rhythm for the type of track she curated. Claire sings "Please don't call me, I won't pick up. You bore me, I've had enough"--a clear ballad and verses many of us can relate to (especially when it comes to that certain someone we've had enough of). "FAKE" is fun, even though it adapts a more forward approach as an alternative pop track. We listened to "FAKE" once, and it wasn't enough to fully grasp the track and what it provides to the listener. And so, we listened to "FAKE" about 5 times before we officially became obsessed with the track.
Give a listen, or possibly many listens, to "FAKE" here.

Hi Claire! Let's talk about your upbringing as an artist--how did you grow up within the music scene?
I started singing from a young age, however I put that to one side to gain my qualifications at college. Once completed, I focused on improving myself as a performer and had vocal coaching for 5 or 6 years. Within that time I was scouted for The Voice and X Factor UK.
What would you say is the most important take-home message from your recent release "FAKE"?
I would think the most important message is that you can cut people out of your life and not feeling guilty for doing so.
We see you've been performing for quite some time as an artist! Tell us about how you feel when you're up on stage performing, and how the crowd's energy is during the performance?!
Performing is something I’ve always loved doing . When I first started I suffered with nerves which affected my performance, however once I overcame them my performances changed dramatically . I always like to involve the crowd as much as I can when I’m performing, as their energy is something which you can feed off . I’m conscious of making sure the crowd has the best time possible .
Would you say that your music is a big reflection of your personal life and experiences?
Every song on my EP is based on real life experiences and issues . My 2nd track What If I, I wrote when I was in a very bad place and I think that is reflected within my vocal delivery and the mood of the song . My EP is titled Collecting Moments and that’s exactly what it is, it’s Moments which have happened in my life which I’ve taken the time to write about .
What's next for you as an artist?
I’m in the process of finishing my EP, I’ve got one more track to write and record and then I’ll be focusing on getting a band together and putting together my EP launch .
