Dive Into Artes Santoro’s New Single “Lost Property”

Welcome to BUZZ, Artes Santoro! We love the entire soundscape "Lost Property" brings the speakers. Can you share the inspiration behind the song and how your personal experiences shaped its lyrical narrative?

The inspiration behind the song is a breakup I went through that led to me being more focused on overcoming the negative emotions I felt after the breakup. After the breakup, I was motivated and determined to express myself through my lyrics and add a sense of vulnerability and relatability to connect with those who have felt and experienced the same.

The dynamic between Tiffbrianne and Aj Wavy brings together diverse talents. What led to this collaboration, and how did each artist's unique style contribute to the overall vibe of "Lost Property?"

What led to the collaboration was when we went over to my friend's house who is also an engineer and decided to put something together and see what comes out of it. Each artist had unique experiences and sounds, making the song more diverse and relatable.

Being a born-and-raised New Yorker, how does the city's energetic vibe influence your music, especially in a song like this? Do specific aspects of the city find their way into your creative process?

As a born and raised new yorker the city's energetic vibe led me to discover an abundance of opportunities like, shows and events to be a part of which helped me network and break out of my comfort zone when meeting new people. As far as the city, hip-hop, and rap culture influenced my creative process. With lost property and my music, I like to take inspiration from various cities and cultures.

A song is nothing without the beat, and the foundation laid down by Theskybeats greatly contributes to the atmospheric quality of the song. How did the collaboration with Theskybeats come to be, and what was the creative process of bringing this vision to life?

With Theskybeats we found his beat on youtube and within 10 minutes of hearing it I immediately finished my verse because the beat stood out and resonated with the vibe we were going for. A few days after that I went on theskybeats' website and purchased the beat, from there the rest was history.

As you continue to push boundaries and make your mark in the music scene, what sonic landscapes or themes do you hope to explore in your future projects, and how do you envision evolving your sound while staying true to your artistic identity?

I want to get more into pop and electronic music. One thing about me is that I'm very open minded and versatile so I enjoy experimenting with different sounds and genres. I plan on continuing to be versatile while giving my audience the catchy melodies and vulnerable and relatable music they love.
