DJAMA KEITA Returns Nearly a Decade Later With a New Chapter Led by “Full Love”

Nearly a decade after his last album, Martinique artist DJAMA KEITA is officially entering a new chapter. The reggae, Afro-Caribbean, and R&B artist is preparing to release a new Caribbean album in October 2026, marking a long-awaited return shaped by years of experience, artistic growth, and a renewed perspective on the world around him.

KEITA describes the forthcoming project as his “album of maturity,” a more personal and accomplished representation of the artist he has become while remaining deeply connected to his Martinique and French West Indies roots. Rather than approaching its themes through broad statements, the album draws directly from his experiences with love, relationships, hardship, resilience, and the importance of continuing forward.

Leading that message is “Full Love,” a song that expands love beyond romance and presents it as a force capable of creating movement, growth, and personal elevation. The philosophy becomes a central thread throughout the record, particularly as KEITA considers how people find reasons to keep going during uncertain periods.

“I hope people take away a sense of elevation from this album,” KEITA shares. “In difficult times, especially with so many challenges affecting people around the world, I believe we need messages that help us look further and keep moving forward.” He describes “Full Love” as carrying that same spirit, with love acting as something that can “guide us, elevate us and help us grow into who we are meant to become.”

That focus on perseverance becomes especially tangible on “Rise Again.” Written in the aftermath of a cyclone, the track explores what happens when life is suddenly thrown off course, and rebuilding becomes the only path forward. Instead of simply documenting hardship, KEITA centers the ability to recover, rise, and continue moving.

The project’s reach is already beginning to extend beyond the Caribbean. “Full Love” was selected to participate in the Timbaland Global Search on Orbiiit, an international competition that received more than 80,000 submissions. The opportunity places KEITA on a wider international stage while allowing him to represent Martinique and the French West Indies through his music.

With his October album approaching, DJAMA KEITA’s return feels less like picking up where he left off and more like introducing the artist he has grown into. Nearly ten years of perspective sit behind this next chapter, but its message looks firmly ahead: keep growing, keep rebuilding, and keep moving forward.
