Don't Believe In Ghosts Debut New Single “Don’t Wake Me Up"

Starting off the new year with a bang, Don’t Believe In Ghosts sold out their first headline

show in NYC at the iconic Bowery Ballroom. The band was formed in 2016 by singer Steven

Nathan. The band consists of four members which include Ken Yang (drums), Alex Goumas

(Bass), and Dan DelVecchio (guitarist).

The band has an eclectic blend of experimental rock-based music which is vividly seen in their latest single, “Don’t Wake Me Up", mixed by 8-time Grammy winning mixer Ken Lewis (X Ambassadors, Bruno Mars, Lorde, Fun, One Republic, etc). The track was worth the wait and contains a variety of synths and upbeat rhythms. The catchy hook will be implanted in your head for quite awhile! In itself, the song’s production and structure is very light and airy adding to the fun vibe. It is somewhat a combination of young and free with a touch of alternative and raw cutting music. The vocals by Steven Nathan are edgy and attracts the listener closely.

The melody of “Don’t Wake Me Up" is of the song is soothing when listening to it especially with the melody that occurs with the synthed piano. Don’t Believe In Ghosts will be one of your favorites especially if you enjoy bands like The Neighborhood and Foster The People. In short, this band will definitely find their way on to your feel-good playlist!
