Welcome to BuzzMusic, Michelle Fabre. We love the uplifting and vibrant energy within your hot new single, "Last Chance for Love." Could you describe the moment you felt inspired to create this party-starting, passionate hit?

"Last Chance for Love" started with a beat and melody and progressed from there. I felt inspired after a session with a friend on another song we worked on. When she left, I wanted to keep going and felt drawn to writing something lyrically and deeper while also being danceable.

What was your goal regarding the overall sound and vibe of "Last Chance for Love?" Did you have any specific genres or styles in mind?

The song's goal was to be commercial, top 40 pop with dance/disco sounds that will always have longevity and be loved by the new and old generations.

Did you team up with any producers or musicians when crafting the sonics and instrumentals for "Last Chance for Love?" How did your team help bring your vision to life?

I have a writing team I work with; it was a trial-and-error process. The main instrument I wanted were strings, which is still happening in today's top 40 pop. But it was a question of either making them too loud or not, how much space they take up and override something else. In the end, I think the strings added a classy overall sound to the pop and dance mix while adding some disco elements. We always listen to everyone song we create on every speaker we can get our hands on. The kick and beat were lively in the car, but we needed to be emphasized the small phone speaker, so for that, the last stage of raising the kick in the mixing and also mastering in it of itself lent itself to also have that strong beat and presence when the verse comes in.

What did you want your audience to experience when hearing "Last Chance for Love?" How did you want this song to make them feel?

"Last Chance for Love" was created in January of 2022, and it started with a beat and melody and progressed from there. Lyrically and musically, we wanted it to be more sophisticated. Something that would resonate with everyone. It's really about rekindling an old romance but acknowledging the consequences that come with it. The second verse exemplifies when two people end a relationship and find love elsewhere. Everything is great at first in a new relationship, but you always think back to "that one," It makes you question all the 'what ifs' and 'could've beens'. The main concept I tried to portray in "Last Chance for Love" is a love or passion that you give one last shot at; the "give it your all" type of love because it's worth it in the end. It could also be a good message for the holiday season when two people try to rekindle their relationship.
