We love the vibes that you serve in “Get to Know Me.” Was the narrative of this story based on a real-life experience?
This was based on me meeting a girl after one of my shows and we got close for a while. After about a week, I noticed she liked me for my talents and the way I dress & I didn’t want that kind of relationship. I wanted her to like me not just because of my talents, but because of who I am.
Could you please share a glimpse of the creative process that brought “Get to Know Me,” to the ear of the public?
I found myself making love songs talking about a girl I met and what I like about them. For this song, I wanted to try something different and write a type of love song that talks about her and me.
With the upbeat liveliness of this song, how does it compare to other songs that you have in your music catalog?
This song has a more Hip-Hop/R&B vibe than most of the songs on my Pop album. As you said, it’s more upbeat and livelier than songs I used to make.
How have you found yourself growing as an artist from your first release to now?
I really have. Before, I used to write the first words that came to my head and release them. Now, after I write a verse or a chorus, I take my time to review it, make any necessary changes, and test it out before moving on.

Next, I plan on releasing my debut album on May 14th.
