Grammar Tha God Won’t Be Held Captive To Fear On His Conscious New Release, “Finish It”

The Australian artist won’t let himself be oppressed any longer.

Melbourne-based rapper and producer Grammar Tha God is back and still making waves in the Australian hip-hop scene. From an early age, Grammar showed an unwavering determination to hone his craft, starting his journey as a producer at 15. His natural talent and relentless work ethic have set him apart as a rising star to keep an eye on.

Having received critical acclaim for his debut project “10TGOD’ and the follow-up ‘The BMG Tape’ before climbing to even greater heights with his “The Manifestation EP,” Grammar Tha God has firmly established himself as a unique presence in the Aussie underground hip-hop scene.

With an illustrious decade-long career, Grammar Tha God’s longevity is matched only by his lyrical prowess, production skills, and charisma. After his successful national Australian “The Grammarfications Tour” in 2014, Grammar took a hiatus to strategically build his social media presence and study the direction of hip-hop.

The result of that was a Grammar reborn. He would return with a vengeance, each new release crisper and better than the last. With Grammar now gearing up for his upcoming “Gifted Revolutionary” EP, he’s once again pushing himself to even greater heights, and we can’t wait to see what he shows us.

“Finish It” is undeniable proof that Grammar has not only not missed a step; he’s continued to evolve and better himself. Over sharp trap instrumentals that incorporate an incredibly catchy piano riff, Grammar’s presence on the mic is more significant than life, dropping lines like “All we needed was some leadership / Open your third eye, so you can see this shit” with the kind of charisma that commands your attention.

When he raps, “It’s time to say I ain’t scared if you imprison me / It’s time to say I ain’t afraid of y’all killing me,” he makes a conscious decision to speak out about the injustice many black individuals face, lending his voice to a greater meaning.

Grammar Tha God has continued pushing himself to greater heights, and his newest release, “Finish It,” proves his hard work. Featuring sharp instrumentals, conscious lyrics, and a standout performance on the part of Grammar himself, “Finish It” will surely be a perfect introduction to those unfamiliar with Grammar’s work or an exciting new page to previous listeners.
