Welcome to BuzzMusic! Can you start by introducing yourself to the fans?

What up doe Buzz music people! I am H.B.R, 1 ½ of Players Stackin Paper. Pullin up from the Motor City! Lol I started rapping around the age of 13 as a way to pass time and stay out of trouble. I'd write songs with my boys here and there, but wasn't too serious until a few years ago. Making music is a form of stress relief for me. Whenever it feels like life's too much, I find solace in music.

Why did you choose to go solo?

Honestly, I haven't gone solo. My guy J.G.M had to focus on graduating from college, so we hadn't made any music since our debut "The Difference" early last year. A good friend of mine kept telling me to make some songs and stop waiting around, so I took the good advice and put out a short E.P titled "Up to Somthin" back in May. So far so good

We love your track “Every Way”! What was the writing process like?

I just heard the beat and was immediately inspired! It was one of the easiest songs I've written. Think it took about 20 minutes 1st verse and the chorus. Initially another rapper was going to be featured, but that fell through. I hit my older brother Jae Fuego up on FB and asked him to be on it with me, sent him the beat and song concept, 30 minutes later he had a verse. It was crazy how easily it came together.

What artists do you look to for inspiration?

I draw inspiration from a myriad of artists in many different genres, success levels and status. From Al Green to Blade Icewood, Fleetwood Mac to Royce Da 5'9", Maroon 5, Chris Brown, 50cent and local artists, I'm inspired by music in its entirety.

If you could perform at any venue in the world, where would you choose?

I'll show extreme bias with this answer and say Little Caesars Arena. Just to rep my city! Lol
