Welcome to BuzzMusic Fury In Few! How did the formation of this duo occur and how did you manage to fuse together the different styles and personalities?
Brayden: We met at an intramural softball league. It was the bottom of the 9th and I was up to bat. I get a sweet pitch right down the middle and swing...BOOM. I hit a dinger into the left field. The crowd went wild. I get the girl. Ryan was in the crowd that day. Impressed by my swing he asked me if I played music and we’ve been in a band ever since. Our personalities mesh very well through our love for different French pastries.
Ryan: Brayden loves playing and listening to rock music and I love the energy of live rock performances so here we are.
Talk to us about your new single “Put The Thriller Down”. What were your intentions with this song? What do you hope your listeners will take away from it?
Brayden: I wanted it to be used in a porno. Fingers crossed! I hope the people that dig the song get as turned on as I do.
Ryan: This is the rock song the world needs and we’re not trying to reinvent the wheel. Just two guys in a room trying to make the music that they like, and hopefully, other people will too.
What does "Put The Thriller Down" mean to you?
Brayden: F*** what people think. Be who you want and do what you want.
Ryan: It means we’re not f****** around.
As a duo, do you find it to be more challenging for you to arrange your music considering the amount of instrumentation that goes in?
Brayden: No.
Ryan: No.
For someone just starting out and hoping to create music similar to your style, what advice would you give them?
Brayden: If you make it big before we do bring us on tour.
Ryan: Find like-minded individuals and play until your hands bleed.
What can we expect to see from Fury In Few throughout 2020?
Brayden: The greatest rock n roll show you’ll ever see.
