May We Meet Again Have Found Their Peace On “Lost In Time”

Despite being new, the New England metalcore trio, May We Meet Again is poised to explode with their debut single and music video for “Lost In Time.”

“Lost In Time” is part of the band’s upcoming EP, which is slated for a May release and will consist of five tracks that combine influences from pop, pop-punk, hardcore, deathcore, and more. Brutal yet beautiful, the band’s sound will captivate any metal enthusiasts and with an incredible debut like “Lost In Time,” we can’t wait to see how far they can go.

Drummer Tay Manesis explains that part of May We Meet Again’s creative ethos is to create meaningful music that offers hope to those who may feel hopeless. For those unfamiliar with the band, “Lost In Time” will leave a powerful first impression. Co-written by Manesis and vocalist Tyler Fay, “Lost In Time” features ferocious instrumentals and a soaring chorus that leaves you feeling powerful.

Produced, mixed, and mastered by Robbie Litchfield of Hell Here Studios, “Lost In Time” showcases May We Meet Again's ability to marry the brutal and the beautiful and proves that comparisons to Bring Me The Horizon and Invent Animate are indeed worthy.

Over their rabid, ferocious yet at times melodic instrumentals, vocalist Tyler Fay shows off his versatility, screaming lines like “A shadow of all my mistakes that I can’t face / Another part of life that was meant to replaced” before flipping the switch and singing lines like “All of your bridges have burned down / In smoke, your suffocating.” It’s a powerful first impression, and if “Lost In Time” indicates May We Meet Again’s ability, the sky will be the limit.

“Lost In Time” serves as an exciting taste of what’s to come in May We Meet Again's upcoming EP, and fans of metalcore and heavy music alike won't want to miss out on what the trio has in store. Welcome to BuzzMusic, May We Meet Again! Wow, that was a powerful debut if we’ve ever heard one! We must ask, what inspired “Lost In Time,” and what made it right for your debut?

Musically speaking, we felt it was a solid representation of the range, from soft to heavy music, that we plan to continue mixing. Structurally speaking, we felt it was a good fit for a debut track, as it's catchy and new but not too repetitive.

Give us the May We Meet Again origin story! How did you guys end up coming together?

May We Meet Again started with four members, three of which are no longer in the band, leaving Tay to find the current membes. After meeting Tyler through our producer, Robbie Litchfield, we finished the EP at Hell Here Studios and continued to find our guitarist and bassist, James and Thomas.

How would you describe your sound to new listeners?

We believe our sound to be an exciting and new mix of classic and modern metalcore, with other influences from artists such as Scarlxrd, Techn9ne, Chase Atlantic, Ellie Goulding and Skrillex.

If you wanted your fans to take one thing away from your music, what would it be?

One thing we want people to take away from our music is just for everyone to be genuine to themselves, despite what anybody tells them. If you believe you are the best version of yourself, you'll do great things.

What’s next for May We Meet Again? Your new EP is slated to release in May, right?

We'll release our second single, with a new music video, very soon. We plan to have the EP fully released by the end of this spring.
