'Knocking On My Heart' is a song I wrote when I realized I had made many major mistakes in my life and when I left my former church. I began to see that I had lost focus and needed to hit the reset button on my life.
From modern and textured production to Mayah Camara’s dynamic vocals, “Knocking on My Heart” gives off a hopeful atmosphere. Is there any message in particular that you wanted listeners to take away from “Knocking on My Heart”?
I would say that repentance is the most important thing anyone could do with their life. It's never too late to turn things around and to call on God for help.
Speaking on Mayah Camara’s overall sound and style, could you speak more on what initially made you want to take a more spiritual and grateful route with music?
Acts 3:19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.

I would say that I write modern Christian music with a twist. I love all music genres and create songs across a multitude of styles. From me you'll hear Neo Soul, R&B, Pop, Gospel, Synthwave, Synthpop, and stuff with a singer/songwriter feel.
