The 5-piece rock collective Amarionette is comprised of Nick Raya, AJ Sarmiento, Ron Wells, Justin Brooklyn and Spencer "Issy" Berry. The Las Vegas rock band is making waves in the music scene with their brand new single “B-Nasty” ft. Andres! The single comes as a welcome and refreshing new addition to the music scene. Amarionette has seen nothing but success since they began their musical endeavors in 2010. Amarionette draws influence from rock, pop and post-hardcore, combining big hooks, delightful retro vibes and enchanting vocals. “B-Nasty” acts as an announcement for their brand new EP “Evolution”.
Amarionette has outdone themselves with their flawless delivery and undeniably chemistry that blasts through the speakers. The ups and downs of “B-Nasty” provide the listener with quirky lyricism and tight grooves. With elements of indie rock mixed with contemporary pop/punk rhythms and a powerful sound, “B-Nasty” is hard hitting and high energy. Amarionette is able to relate to their listeners on so many levels. “Now we’re back to this confusion you gotta excuse me I’ve fallen deep into your illusions” is a lyric that perfectly describes the pleading and confusing ups and downs of love. “B-Nasty” puts a witty theme on a serious topic, Amarionette uses their expansive musical knowledge to create a rock hit. The music video for “B-Nasty” shows the band members sitting in a Detention room, basically tormenting each other. The hilarious video matches perfectly with the eccentric track and we can’t get enough of both! "B-Nasty" ft. Andres is out now, I highly recommend you check it out.
New EP Evolution out 8/23. Preorders for digital, CD, and Vinyl available now HERE.
Hello Amarionette! Welcome to BuzzMusic! How did you all meet? When did you create Amarionette?
Thanks for having us! Most of us met through our lead singer, but AJ and Nick knew each other from high school. We formed Amarionette in 2010.
What overall theme does your EP “Evolution” have? When’s the official release date?
Evolution is out August 23rd! The EP has a total 80’s throwback theme with a modern twist. The entire EP has a somewhat nostalgic vibe that we all love, but still holds its own in the current realm of rock/pop.
What’s your writing process like together?
Most of the time Nick (Raya, guitar) will come up with a riff, and from there we’ll come up with the majority the instrumentation around that. Lyrics and melody are usually done last by Issy Brown (vocals).
Do you have any upcoming shows or events you’d like to tell us about?
7/27 - Las Vegas, NV at 172
8/24 - Stockton, CA at Flowershop
8/25 - Orangevale, CA at Boardwalk
