Newfoundland, Canada native, Bradley Arthur Maxwell serenades us with his new single “No Wonder Why”. Maxwell draws creative inspiration from an eclectic mix of artists like Tom Petty, Nick Cave, Radiohead, and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. He is also swayed by the elements in the unique North Atlantic physical environment where he spent his formative years - his homeland helping to shape the uniquely compelling and ambient sound. From recently being named one of 2019's most exciting new voices by 405, to numerous syncs on MTV and Lifetime, Bradley channels his efforts into lyrics that encompasses the brutal honesty found within the landscape of the heart. Releasing his highly anticipated track, Bradley explains that “No Wonder Why” is a love letter to that person, place, or specific moment in time that has remained a part of you.”
“No Wonder Why” begins at a slower pace with beautiful down-tempo guitar picking before speeding up into a piece that is full of energy and vibrance. Alongside the bouncy acoustic riff, enter’s Bradley’s soothing vocals while the song is further brought together with airy synth progressions and elegant violin strings - not to mention the incredible vocal harmonies delivered by friends, collaborators and featured artists The Once.
