Ryder Sinclair Drop Explosive Electro-Pop Track “Through The Night”

Based out of Oulu, Finland, Ryder Sinclair is a talented 23 year old music producer. He cites as his influences David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Kygo, and Flume, among other imaginative and creative producers. RyderSinclair committed himself wholly to music production in 2012 , and since then he has made a name for himself on the electronic music scene. Ryder focused on progressive house early in his career, but currently he’s shifted his attention to a pop/ballad sound, bringing together elements of future genres such as future bass and future house. His mission is to create music that people enjoy listening to music that will get people moving, and music that offers something extra, an emotional punch that sticks with you long after you hear it.
The music in “Through The Night” has the vibrant energy of electro-pop for the most part, but what makes the lyrics hit with even more impact is the structural shift from this, the fullness, to the gentle, spacious, uplifting melody of the hook. The more you listen, the more the music draws your focus to that key idea, the more you’re likely to find yourself considering and appreciating the little things in your own life. That’s what great music does, it lets you escape from a small mind loaded with concerns, and it surrounds you in thoughts and feelings relating to those things that really matter. It makes you feel good and particularly grateful. This is a wonderful release from Ryder Sinclair, the emotion that comes through in the words is magnified by that which can be heard and felt via the leading vocal performance. The structure of the song is authentic and real. Rhythmic, hopeful, enjoyable in itself but more importantly, it’s inspiring when you really break it down and pay attention.

Hi Ryder Sinclair! In your own words, what’s the concept behind “Through The Night”, and why did you decide to create a song around that?
I started the song from the chords and melody on a sunny summer day which inspired the energetic feel to the song. I liked the sound and feel of the song and I continued on adding more elements and fine tuning the sounds. The song was created for the late summer and I think I captured the feel pretty well.
What do you hope people take away from this release?
I hope people will enjoy listening to the song and share it with their family and friends. I hope the song gives energy to the listener the same way I got while creating the song.
Who or what would you say inspires or influences you the most musically?
I get inspiration from many things in my life. From the people I live with, the music I listen to or just a good day can inspire me to create new music. If I had to name other artists who have inspired me in the past few years I would say Avicii, Don Diablo, Garrix, David Guetta and Flume.
What are your main aspirations as an artist right now?
My main aspiration is to get better as a creator and growing and connecting with my audience. I wish to connect with more people in the industry and create even better songs for my fans.
What’s something about you that most people don’t know?
I once lived in Maryland while my mom worked for NASA. I started school in the US and I learned to write English before my own mother tongue Finnish.
