Welcome to BuzzMusic! Can you introduce yourself to our readers and tell us a bit about how you got started in the music industry?

I’m Saint Sinbad! I’ve lived in Maryland all my life, but I’m moving to New York in two weeks for school. I’ve always been super into music, but I didn’t start taking it seriously until my freshman year in high school, when I linked with a guy who had a studio at his house and let me come record...even though I was a little trash haha.

Let’s talk about the lyrics of “Shoreline Pt.1”! What theme does this track carry? What inspired it?

I want people to hear this track and feel like they’re just having a great time at the beach, and also feel like they’re that man at the same time, because what inspired the song were those exact feelings.

From an artist perspective, what do you think is the most powerful lyric in “Shoreline Pt.1”?

“Don’t hate on me, hate the bud, cause when I’m off tree I just love throwing nuts.”

I don’t know if this is the most important bar, but it’s my favorite because when I wrote I couldn’t stop laughing.

Do you have any upcoming shows we should know about?

I have a show tomorrow actually. It’s for the release of the whole EP.

What’s next for you?

The move to New York is definitely on the forefront of my mind, but in terms of future plans I just hope I can get New York, and the rest of the world to love me and my music.
