Can you tell us a bit about yourself and how you got started in the music industry?

Growing up I always knew music meant something to me but I never thought it could be my career. It wasn't until I met the rest of my team and started putting music out that I saw the response and support from people I didn't know. It made it real.

Is your track “Feeling Some Way” related to your real life experiences?

Yeah I guess you can say that. On the surface Feeling Some Way is a track about a guy catching feelings for the girl after agreeing the relationship was just physical. But to me, I wrote it as a conversation with myself making excuses to validate her reasons as to why she left.

Who are you musical influences and how did you pull from them for your new track “Feeling Some Way”?

I'ma be honest with you, I can tell you my musical influences but I feel like of none of them inspired me for this track. The recording process for this was not really conventional. My producer locked me in the studio and brought out all this emotion in me by bringing up the past. This whole track was done in one take. I didn't write anything, I didn't prepare. It was just a freestyle. So in that moment I didn't pull from anything, it was all me.

What would be your dream venue to perform at?

I don't know I feel like every artist would say Madison Square Gardens. But I don't really have a dream venue, I have people I aspire to perform with, like PND or DVSN. That would be dope.

When you’re not making music what do you do?

Working to make better music. I'm always teaching myself ways to improve or studying how to be better.
