Sugar Lunch Breeds a New Alternative Pop

The fresh EP by alt-pop rock project Sugar Lunch provides an array of styles from catchy pop songs like "Luv", to a grungy garage rock feel with songs like "Upholstery". Full of attitude, energy, and a sort of creative freedom, the Ticks  EP is mainly the effort of songwriter Richard Miller. Recording most of the EP on his own, the Sugar Lunch project shows a definitive case of how today's self-recorded records can bring on something new and different.

With "Luv" at the forefront it may be easy to think you know what to expect, but these tracks differ from one and another as the EP holds on to its pop feels throughout its course. This is a great example of today's alt-pop songs and hopefully more to expect from projects like Sugar Lunch. Set to be released in early December, you can catch the tunes early right HERE
