The Passionate Vocals of Emily Cole Shine Through In New Single, “Haunting”

Multi-award-winning emerging artist Emily Cole embodies passion and emotion in her new track “Haunting.”

This Texas singer-songwriter has released her various alternative pop tracks on all platforms and has drawn in over 200,000 streams on Spotify. As a self-taught artist, Cole performs acoustic versions of her songs alone for her live shows, making her a true all-around artist. Her new track “Haunting” helps listeners experience the feeling of a past love emerging and continuing to follow her and her attempts to escape the grasps.

The passionate lyrics match Cole’s soft vocals and create a song filled with emotion and intensity while still finding a way to be catchy and melodic. Listeners will find it easy to follow the intergalactic rhythm and find themselves singing along to the catchy track.

“Haunting” will be sure to have you stomping your feet to the catchy beat and melody. Although it has emotional underlying meaning, this intergalactic/space style medley creates intensity and a pop music sound that listeners are sure to remember.

“Haunting” is on track to be a new emerging hit single, and as we move into 2021 we are expecting more new shows and music from this breakout star.

Hey Emily! Welcome to BuzzMusic, we are loving your new track “Haunting”. Where would you say you found your inspiration to write this hit single?

Thanks so much for having me! It’s basically just about not being able to get over someone, even though they were toxic, no matter how hard you try. Sometimes it’s hard to let go, and you can’t stop thinking about them. It’s like they’re “Haunting” you and your thoughts. Many of your recently released singles have had a lot of success in various music competitions, would you say that these singles resemble each other in some way, or do you write each song to be extremely different and unique?

They for sure all have a similar vibe! When I write my songs, I usually don’t notice until after the fact that they kind of resemble each other. I guess it just works! We love the foot stopping beat in” Haunting”, how does performing acoustically for your shows impact your song and sound?

I like to surprise people! When I play my acoustic gigs, I usually don’t bring up the fact that it’s completely different sounding as far as the production goes, and it’s always fun to hear what people have to say about it after listening to the song on Spotify. You have an amazing vocal tone and we are in awe that you are self-taught, how do you think this has impacted the way you create music and vocalize?

Thank y’all so much! I’ve always been a very creative person- I not only used to sing when I was younger, but I also wrote a lot of “books”- and have always only been myself. I feel like what comes along with that is not trying to specifically sound like anyone else, or do things that everyone else does, and it’s not only worked for me as far as developing my sound goes, but it’s given me a lot of creative freedom as an independent artist as well if that makes sense! 2020 has been a very challenging year for everyone. What has been keeping you inspired to create music? What advice can you give another artist who's finding it difficult to do so?

I really try to stay positive and in my zone of creating at home and adapting to the circumstances. Through all of this craziness, I’ve been lucky enough to still be able to play the online live stream on several platforms, and it’s really helped me learn more about what I can be doing on the internet in the meantime. I’d say just try your best and find ways to still be able to do what you love, even if it is just from the comfort of your own bedroom.
