Kenjitzu Tominaga, professionally known as Kento, its a progressive house music producer from Aguascalientes, Mexico. Making music for over 4 months, Kento has seen nothing but success from the slew of singles he has released so far. His latest track “Even If I” Ft Soul is an ambient house track, perfect for listeners from all walks of life.
Soul delivers powerful soul-inspired vocals and original lyrics on top of Kento’s memorable music. A groovy house track, “Even If I” features a cascading soundscape, highlight Kento skill as a producer. Soul comes in strong on top of all of these powerful elements with her smooth emotive vocals and impressive range. What’s clever about the creative production is that you don’t see the onslaught approaching, there’s no pause and subsequent heavy drop like there would be in a traditional house piece. Somehow, Kento captures and contains you within this whirlwind of audio escapism. You hardly notice the transition, but you appreciate the result. The looping build-up works brilliantly and you can easily tell that a live show would be all the more mesmerizing to witness. I highly recommend that you check out “Even If I” as it’s a true highlight for peak time on the dance floor and will be caught in your head until you have the pleasure of experiencing it once more. A true pleasure to review.

Welcome to BuzzMusic Kento! We’re so impressed and inspired by your extensive list of achievements! What are you most proud of thus far in your music career?
Hi And thanks! Well the thing that I'm most proud of my music career is that when I first started uploading my songs, weren't that good, they were a little bit out of time, and drums weren't that cool. But now that I've been practicing a lot, my songs are getting better and that's the thing I'm most proud because I proposed myself to get better no matter what.
We’re completely captured by your new song “Even If I”! Was this your first time working with Soul? Your styles compliment each other remarkably well!
Yes, it was!, she used to be my classmate last year, and when we were at school I used to hear her singing, and now that I started my music career I wanted her to be part of it.
We feel like you put a lot of thought and integrity into the sonics in “Even If I” Can you tell us the overall concept you were hoping to achieve?
Well, it was first dedicated to my dad, because he works a lot and I rarely see him and when he is at home, he isn't in the mood to talk or he's just to stressed that he just gets mad at me with a simple thing.
We know that you're a lover of integrating a variety of elements into your music. Would you ever incorporate contrasting genres into your music, or do you think it would ruin the type of sound you're attempting to reach?
Yes I do want to contrast genres in my music, if you check out my song "I Need You By My Side" I contrasted Progressive house and a little bit of Rap, and surely I'm going to do it again, maybe a change of genres in my music it will make a good impression.
What's the next move for you artistically? Are you playing any shows in the near future to promote “Even If I”?
Honestly, I would like to play a show promoting my new single, but I don't have enough audience to do it, and if I do it, I will need some help to make the show.
