Bree Taylor Seamlessly Blends Pop & Country Genres In “Drive”

Canadian singer/songwriter, Bree Taylor’s latest country single release “Drive” hit the airwaves hot on the heels of her debut single "Turn It Up" which has been on the radio since July 5th and pushing the limits between country music and pop music with huge crossover appeal. This summer 2019 she shined at Rock the Coliseum performing at the outdoor Mississauga Music festival along with her debut at the legendary Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto to benefit Ovarian Cancer. Bree continues to make her mark in the Canadian music scene with her transition from pop to country music. Combining the sounds of pop and country was perfect for this singer/songwriter who is also an engaging storyteller, “I feel like right now, the right place for me and my music is in country.” With a career and brand built on authenticity, honesty, and resilience, Bree’s creative ambitions have no limitations. No matter what life throws at her, Bree is and always will be a fighter and she will keep writing songs, keep singing and will remain truly unapologetically Bree!

“Drive”  is all of this, a quickly familiar set-up paves the way well for a song that skillfully and poetically details the scenes of its story. Bree Taylor has fused a brilliantly uplifting and progressive melody, with a warm and comforting musicality, and a story that seems just personal enough to connect, but also vague enough for listeners to make it their own. The perfect twang of country fuses perfectly with a catchy pop backtrack. It’s a pleasure to know there are artists and songwriters creating and performing music of this nature with such clear passion and a love for the process right now. It’s easy to hear why fans have taken to the rising star so notably in recent months. “Drive” speaks volumes on behalf of the quality and content that’s to come.
