The enchanting electronic duo BLACK RYAN is coming at us from across the pond with the release of their debut EP, “Cassandra.”
The German duo was originally founded in 2014 when the pair met in university, and they took advantage of the school’s musical facilities to kickstart their careers.
BLACK RYAN is made up of Philipp Hill and Bülent Kirschbaum, who home in on their unique skillsets in order to produce the most intriguing sonic experiences for their fans. Their partnership began with Bülent Kirschbaum’s acoustic and vocal experimentations and Philipp Hill’s recording and mixing pilots. Bülent Kirschbaum will construct a somber and melancholic atmosphere with his gruff and sultry vocals and guitar plucking.
Philipp Hill pulls the track into the light by seasoning it with synths and dynamic electronic soundscapes. With Bülent Kirschbaum in charge of songwriting, BLACK RYAN’s tracks tend to showcase the struggles and triumphs of love.
