  • Diane Gentile Dazzles On Her Heartfelt New Duet, “Walk With Me”

The NYC artist invites her contemporary to weather life's complexities together. Diane Gentile is a songwriter and recording artist that has burst onto the scene, captivating listeners everywhere with her poignant yet charming lyricism and ability to paint vivid soundscapes with her music. Currently based in New York City, her music brims with sharp wordplay and compelling narratives, painting vivid pictures of flawed yet endearing protagonists drenched in NYC's classic rock n' roll swagger. Together with her band, The Gentle Men, Gentile is set to release her latest album, "The Bad and the Beautiful," every sign points to being a must-listen. Regarding her upcoming album "The Bad and the Beautiful," Gentile says, "Private pain and unquenchable longing are tucked away under tattoos and matted hair, transcended through blissful dance sessions and carefree trysts, and bravely addressed in quiet solitude." This is Gentile's profound artistic ability operating at its best; in "The Bad and the Beautiful," she weaves an entire story with complicated yet lovable characters that ultimately draw the listener in, engrossing them in the vast musical world Gentile has woven together. "Walk With Me" featuring Alejandro Escovedo is Gentile's latest offering and a tantalizing glimpse of the good things to come on "The Bad and the Beautiful." As nostalgic rock n' roll instrumentals evoke emotion and set the stage for Gentile and Escovedo, their impressive chemistry is fully displayed. Seamlessly trading lines as their duet progresses, lines like "Like a number, you don't win/used to play it, time and again" and "You don't tell anyone about it, you're just afraid you can't live without it" tug at your heartstrings, melting you away. If the rest of "The Bad and the Beautiful" even barely maintains the (admittedly high) standard Gentile has set for herself here, "The Bad and the Beautiful" is sure to be a must-listen project. As Diane Gentile looks ahead to the future, she remains committed to her artistic growth, growing little by little and continuing to enchant as she continues to grow. Whenever you're ready, tap in and stream Gentile's new release, "Walk With Me" ft. Alejandro Escovedo. Watch for her new album, "The Bad and the Beautiful," on September 15th. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Diane Gentile! We loved your release "Walk With Me"; it felt like we were caught up in your storytelling and lyrics! We had to ask what inspired this release and how you decided you wanted to have Alejandro Escovedo on the track as well? The song was written after I returned from a tour opening for Jesse Malin and Joseph Arthur. I had stopped by Alejandro's abode for a coffee. His place is serene. I had been in a critical accident the year before in Italy, and I was still healing while doing this tour. I was still kind of "out of it," really. Many people around me at that time were going through their own issues. If we can't help, perhaps just supporting someone simply by walking side by side with them could help. Maybe it was a walk down Alejandro's driveway - the serenity and peace I felt for the first time since my crazy accident, that triggered the song. After I wrote the song, I heard Alejandro's voice. His voice is sexy and expressive. When I sent it to him, I was surprised he would sing it with me and liked it. We had a blast, and I am grateful to him. Your new album, "The Bad and the Beautiful," is slated for release this fall (September 15th). What's been your favorite part of bringing the vision for your album to life, and are there any projects on there you're incredibly excited for your fans to hear? James Maddock produced the first track, "Lace Up Your Sneakers." He came into the studio and said, "Now, I have a suggestion, and I don't know if you are going to want to try it or not, but we really should." In his Leicester accent, he started talking about doing the song with a disco beat. The entire session was, thus, an upbeat, joyous time. Jesse Malin's fantastic ear for production brought out the sex in "Sugarcane," and Paul Garisto on drums on that track is something else. My favorite part of bringing my vision for the album to life was working with the most excellent musicians, having an intuitive engineer and co-producer like Merle Chornuk, and having the best mixer, Geoff Sanoff, send me final mixes. Every single one of them gave love to this project. I must list the players: Colin Brooks, Rob Clores, Jason Victor, James Mastro, James Cruz, Danny Ray, Paul Garisto, Dave Immagluck, Charlie Giordano, Craig Dreyer. Colin Brooks, Jason Victor, and Rob Clores have worked with me long and appeared on the last album, "The White Sea." Colin also plays on my first album, "Caught in a Wave." What inspired you to first start making music, and what words of advice would you give your younger self when they were starting off? I started writing at 10 years old. My advice is not to let anyone or anything sway you from doing what you want to do. Believe in yourself and work really hard. What's been your favorite part of being a musician so far? Do you have any favorite music-related memories you'd like to share? My favorite part of being a musician is writing. My second favorite part of being a musician is learning something new with my writing, voice, and playing. For me, discovering something new in my approach gets me excited. It might sound kind of boring to others, but to me, it's like riding a motorcycle for the first time. And, of course, playing the songs out in front of people where it sometimes is a communal experience. What goals would you like to achieve through your music, and if your listeners could take one thing away from your music, what would you want it to be? I never think about what I want listeners to take away. That's their business, really. If they like a song, for whatever reason, it tickles my fancy. My goals are making enough money to tour, writing and recording another record that doesn't break the bank again, getting a synch license, getting asked to write for a film, and more collaborative projects. - And to be able to continue to play with great players! I am somewhat of a workaholic, but it is because I truly love my work. Instagram

  • Hometime Gives Us Strength To Walk Away On “Burn The Photograph”

The Dublin-based artist recognizes that sometimes cutting loose is best, even if it’s hard. In the bustling, lively realm of pop music, Dublin’s very own Tony Kavanagh, aka Hometime, has established himself as a rare artistic talent. Having once attempted a period of retirement, Kavanagh realized his love for music was too strong, returning to the scene to express himself through his art. The Hometime project has been a long time in the making. Still, driven by Kavanagh’s artistic skill and genuine love for music, it promises to be an excellent and captivating release. Breaking free from the shackles of conventional music industry norms, Kavanagh embarked on a deeply personal journey fueled solely by his passion and artistic expression. As a proudly queer artist, he’s garnered immense support from the LGBTQ community worldwide, even charting in the top 3 of Canada’s LGBTQ2+ chart, the Q32. However, Kavanagh’s ability to transparently address and portray the complexities of real emotion has enabled him to transcend boundaries, ensuring there’s a little something for everyone. “Burn The Photograph” is Kavanagh’s latest single under the Hometime Project and is a riveting release that portrays an explosive argument with a couple on the brink of collapse. Although the song may initially feel darker than some of Hometime’s previous releases, Kavanagh says there’s a positive message at the heart of it. Kavanagh says, “We can get self-destructive in anger – especially at the end of a relationship – and the song is that moment where the only sane next step is leaving. Like running from a burning building, in a way.” Supported by a full, lush soundscape created by electronica-inspired instrumentals, lyrics like “Go shred the letter / Burn the photograph / All we thought was whole / Was half” detail the sweet release that comes with having the strength to let go. Hometime’s “Burn The Photograph” manages to distinguish between being dark and inspired. Sometimes we all need the strength to do what’s best for us. Whenever you’re ready, tap in and stream Hometime’s “Burn The Photograph,” available now on all major streaming platforms. Instagram Facebook

  • PYNKIE’s Dreamy New Single “Plz” Is Required Summer Listening

In advance of her anticipated new album, Songies, the New-Jersey-based artist explores the rollercoaster that is romance. Lindsey Radice, aka PYNKIE, is one of indie pop's best-kept secrets. With amazing music and an interesting backstory to boot, Radice splits her time between being a musician and a registered nurse — managing to switch between the arts of healing and song-making with ease, excelling at both. Her signature style of dreamy pop bewitches listeners, residing in a realm where dreams and melodies intertwine. “Plz,” PYNKIE’s latest single off her nearly-out new album, Songies, is a tantalizing taste of the good things to come. Over hazy instrumentals, Radice’s dreamy lyricism transports you to a vast, surreal soundscape. She addresses romance with a deeper nuance than the simple song title would suggest, dropping lyrics like “You gave me such a heart attack / Don’t scare me like that, no / I just wish you were dull / Wouldn’t that be wonderful.” In essence, Radice says it's about “hoping and believing that a relationship will ultimately work out through the rollercoaster of ups and downs.” PYNKIE’s music has a special way of encapsulating personal experiences and transforming them into comforting melodies. We’ll be all over this new album when it drops August 18th, 2023 — and we highly recommend you are too. Check out our conversation with Radice below! Welcome to BuzzMusic, PYNKIE! We can't stop listening to your new single "Plz" — the spacy production, thoughtful lyrics, it's giving us the energy we need! Was there a lot of soul-searching involved in the writing of this song? Awww, thank ya! And I actually wrote this song starting with a demo drum beat and simple chord progression layered with that main riff, which I originally played on my Casio CA-110! I really liked the riff played with the Casio. Still, it could have sounded better on the album version. So my bf, my keyboardist/synth player/producer, decided to play the riff with an electric guitar instead! (Here's what the demo was like.) Then the vocal melody and lyrics gave me a flow-of-consciousness style (AKA my fav way to write)! Well, the melody came to me that way. Some of the lyrics, but many of the lyrics were made to fit into the melody later (the melody usually comes first when I'm writing a song). And then, the lyrics' content or the song's "theme" came last. It's not a profound theme or anything, haha— I just "got into character," so to speak, and pretended I was a girl at a packed house party with my bf and that our relationship was toxic. However, I still believed in it and wanted to make it work. I do this often when I'm songwriting; I pretend I'm a fictional character and write from their perspective while drawing from my life's themes. The music video is a perfect match for the music. We love the scenes and the fast cuts. You look adorable! Have you worked with the director Evan Deng before? Where did you two draw inspiration from? I actually originally wanted to do a party theme for this music video, but ended up using that idea for my first single's video instead (which is playing on the TV in the background of this video as a lil cameo appearance, haha! And then I actually had no idea what to do for this video! Thankfully, Evan Deng contacted me about making a video and came up with the whole theme, etc! He filmed, edited, and directed the entire thing! And I couldn't be happier with how it came out. I'm not sure exactly what made him want to do the motorcycle-centric theme, but I love it, and it's something I never would've come up with! I also never had one of those street rugs when I was little, so it was fun to finally play with one! Haha. Are there any good stories you can share that took place while filming? Filming was so fun, and it was my first time meeting Even and his PA, Jade, but it felt like I had been friends with them for years! One cute thing that happened on set was that an ice cream truck guy gave me a free cone while we were shooting by his truck for no reason other than maybe he thought we were famous or something. It really helped with the video since it inspired us to include some ice cream scenes! What are some of your favorite music videos today and from when you were younger? Oh man, I honestly don't watch enough music videos these days! But my fav, the most recent one, is Colleen Green's "Posi Vibes" video! It's claymation and has a cool UFO theme going on! And when I was younger (even though she was a lil "before my time"), I always watched Björk music vids! All her videos are super cool. The one for "Human Behavior" sticks out in my mind! Your new record 'Songies' is dropping in August! We love what we've heard so far. Please tell us the overall message/theme from your point of view. I've called my songs "songies" since I started making/releasing demos on SoundCloud in college! So I realized it HAD TO be the name of one of my albums, haha, mainly since it has NEVER been used as an album name before as far as I can find (which is ridiculous to me)! But besides that, I've come up with a definition: "songies" are songs that are short, sweet, and to the point; they have an element of weirdness while also being very song-y (i.e., "verse, chorus, verse, maybe bridge"-type structure lol). What I mean by "weirdness" is that the songs have an unpredictable chord change, uncommon time signature, and/or are made in an alternate tuning. Most of the songs on "Songies" fit this bill, but a couple of the tracks (like "Plz" actually) are a little on the longer side! (Most of the songies are under 2-3min) So, in other words, there is no intended "message" in the combined themes of the lyrics of all the songies (at least not intentionally), but that is ultimately up to the listener! On my end, I was more focused on the songwriting motifs and having the songs flow into each other smoothly, creating a more cohesive and album-like experience than I have for my previous albums! The album is a self-release, right? We're BIG supporters of indie artists. Yes! I am back to releasing independently. I did that for my first album, "Neoteny." I missed having that much autonomy n stuff after releasing my last album, "#37," with a label! However, it was an expensive ordeal, and I had to borrow money from my mom to make the vinyl and merch! Haha- but it's worth it, in the end, to make this happen on my own terms. I invest a lot in myself, hahaha. Your story of being a "nurse and song maker" is well-known in the industry, and we absolutely love it. If there was one common misperception about what it's like doing music and being a Registered Nurse, what might be? Yes, this is how I can afford to invest in myself, haha. I need my day job, that's for sure! But I also genuinely enjoy being a nurse (although the job can be rough at times), and I'm doing something worthwhile. A common misperception might be that I do it just because I "have" to, but I also want to! I don't think I would like to make music "full time" (even if I could somehow) because it would probably suck the fun out of it and make it too stressful! Also, I work 12-hour shifts, which gives me 4 days off per week. So it's different from many other full-time jobs where you must work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. I couldn't do that! I need my free time, especially since I love songwriting, and I need lots of time for that. Do you have any advice for young artists that would like to be like you? Being a creator can get pretty discouraging, especially with social media constantly making people compare themselves to others and causing them to feel inferior. It's the worst when you fall into that hole. But my advice for getting out of that hole is to remember that NO ONE could make the songs you create, perform the way you perform, or do whatever you do exactly the way you do it. So own that fact, and keep making from the core of your "self!" (the "self" in itself is a fantastic concept to me, haha). Tell us about your fans! It looks like you have a close relationship with them. What does their support mean to you? Omg, I love my fans so much! They're so cool and cute. And while I may have few fans, it's definitely quality over quantity for me! And I love interacting with/talking to fans and getting to know them, especially at live shows! It's my favorite part of playing live, (even more so than the playing part). Their support and genuine enjoyment of my songies make me want to keep making more! Thanks for taking the time to chat with us! Would you like to shout out to anyone who's helped you along your journey? Thank YOU for having me! And I must thank my bf, John Messina, for producing the album + playing keys/synth, and making everything SOUND SO GOOD! I also must thank Eric Holsten for mixing/mastering the album, making it sound even BETTER! And thank you to my bassist, Alex Heitzenrater, and my drummer, Josh Bartsch, who helped bring the songies to LIFE! If it weren't for all those peeps, this album would be a bunch of crappy-sounding demos. Instagram Facebook

  • King Of The Moshpit Raivon Don’tez Is Back With A Bombshell EP, 'Wanna Play Vol.3'

K.O.T.M. It stands for “King Of The Moshpit'', and the one who claims the throne goes by the name of Raivon Don’tez. This dragon slayer has just released an absolute melodic banger of an EP that will make your grandparents pull out their hair. Titled “Wanna Play Vol. 3,” this is a release you don’t want to miss. Raivon Don’tez was raised around lyricists due to his father's musical tastes, who played Tupac, Notorious B.I.G, and Busta Rhymes in heavy rotation. Poetry was a constant theme of interest growing up, and this bled into eventually writing rap lyrics while attending Butler Tech School of Arts. After dropping out of college, Raivon followed his passion for music. These events accumulated and boiled up to his first EP release in 2019, “Wanna Play Vol.1.” It took time and numerous releases before he felt that his rebranding and sound were established when Vol.2 of the Wanna Play series was released. This is when he became K.O.T.M, perfecting the blend of metal, hip hop, and rock into mosh medicine. Nobody brings the energy quite like Raivon. With a futuresque-punk clash and a sound akin to Limp Bizkit and Rage Against the Machine, I’m sure you get the point. He’s bringing the noise. He’s bringing the rage. He’s bringing everything he’s got to prove that he’s imprinted his mark in the music industry. “I don’t see no competition, all I see is NPCs” is a line from “Final Boss," the last record on the EP. NPC stands for non-player character, representing people who don’t think for themselves and cannot make their own decisions. We understand where he’s coming from, as it seems many individuals are mindless followers, while Raivon is truly leading his path, not just with his mindset but also with his sound approach to writing. We can only imagine what his shows must look like. Songs like “Dragonslayer” are bombshells waiting to explode. The up-tempo metal basslines with raunchy rock guitars and hardcore rap production elements throughout the project create a monstrous combo of punches to the gut. He uses his versatility between hardcore rap and melodic punk vocal melodies as ammunition to shoot down any genre barriers. “Tatted Tears” is a perfect example of this, as it reminds us of the pop-punk era of Blink 182 and My Chemical Romance that we all miss dearly. “Don’t let them see you when you’re breaking,” sung intensely, emotionally pulls heartstrings that have been waiting a long time to feel any tension. Overall, this body of work is extremely well put together. With the first record suddenly cutting out as he explains that he’s back in his true form, he takes us on an emotional journey that encapsulates the YOUTH! Slay your internal dragons with inspiration from Raivon Don’tez’s freshly released “Wanna Play Vol. 3,” out everywhere now. Welcome to Buzzmusic Raivon! Congratulations on your EP release, “Wanna Play Vol.3”. It is a brilliant mix of mosh and deeply emotional ingredients. How does it feel to release a body of work like this? It feels so good to release a project like this, but at the same time, it's a little nerve-wracking. Because this is the most vulnerable I have been on a project, and that alone was a little scary for me. Because the meaning of this project was about taking risks and taking center stage in life. And I felt that emotional vulnerability, and being unapologetic about it was that risk for me. That led me to release this beautiful mosh-filled project. You mention NPCs in “Final Boss,” saying it’s all you see. Do you find it difficult to navigate the music industry and life trying to discern the real from the fake? The NPCs punchline came to me in silence while I was writing the final boss track. And since my love of video games heavily inspired this Ep. I felt that it fit perfectly within the song. And that line is highlighting People who would hate from the background. But at times, I feel it can be difficult to move within the music industry if you're not grounded And don't trust yourself. But also, as I've gone through life, I have recognized authenticity and genuine energy by trusting my gut and intuition. Did you work with numerous producers/creatives throughout the creation of “Wanna Play Vol.3," or was it more of a solo venture? With beat stars, I've discovered talented producers who provided me with the metal, punk, and rap beats Used on this ep. As a songwriter takes pride in writing their rap lyrics, each one of these producers (dook, Devilleproducer, Erigxd, Blvnkface) forced me to upgrade and hone my pen game. This made this ep even better because I knew I put my all into it. Were there any significant events in the past that inspired some of the soul-wrenching emotions belted throughout the EP? Some of the significant events that played a part in this Ep would have to be my battle with depression and thoughts of suicide, both of which I open up about on the track wildlin out. And I think being open and honest with those topics could bring awareness surrounding the conversation of mental health within the music industry. Especially when it comes to men's mental health, a conversation rarely discussed in the music industry. And I just really wanted to put everything on the table for this Ep. And another significant event that played a part in this Ep was my self Confidence. I had moments when that was tested while creating this body of work. I started to question my artistry, my pen, and my individuality. I also talked about this as well in the track Titled Tatted Tears. And how often, at times, we would put on a strong face to cover up the fact that we're breaking on the inside. What do you want your fans and listeners to take away from "Wanna Play Vol.3?" What I want the listeners and fans to take away from this project is to Take center stage in life and continue to be unapologetically yourself. And always be out of the box when it comes to anything you do in life. Instagram

  • Danny Arcane Unleashes A Riveting, Double Feature With “No Remorse” And “You Don’t Know Me"

The rising star blesses his fans with some extra music this summer. In an audacious move demonstrating his sophisticated artistic vision and love of music, Danny Arcane, the enigmatic singer-songwriter from both sides of the Atlantic, has captivated audiences once again with a double release that pushes boundaries and blurs genres. Occupying a space between the nebulous realms of indie pop and rock, Arcane's music has grabbed listeners' attention with a unique sound that is often transparently introspective, making his music highly relatable. With each release sounding better and better, this talented artist shows no signs of slowing down, and we can't wait to see how far he will take it. "You Don't Know Me," the music video feature on Arcane's new double release, has Arcane's signature familiarity infusion all over it. The intimately personal video for "You Don't Know Me" sees Arcane recreate old photos of himself as a child in the exact locations they were initially captured. Combined with lyrics that speak out to those yearning to break from societal pressures in favor of forging their own path, "You Don't Know Me" is a powerful and moving release that will strike chords with listeners today. "No Remorse," the song featured on Arcane's double release, is both Arcane's latest release and also one of his best. Danny describes "No Remorse" as a song for anyone who ever really craved something, then realized they didn't want it after finally obtaining it. With energetic, upbeat vocals led by a hypnotizing guitar and drums, Arcane drops lyrics like "No remorse, I'm sorry though / Thought I knew what I didn't know /I like a chase, you got pace / Sorry that you were too slow." While "No Remorse" is a poignant reminder that sometimes we're more in love with the chase than the object of our affection, Arcane's musical performance is so captivating that it's easy to get swept up in the music. Well, when the music's this good, that's a good problem to have. With his latest double release of "You Don't Know Me" and "No Remorse," Danny Arcane gave us some great new music for the rotation. Whenever you're ready, tap in and stream Arcane's "No Remorse," and check out his new video for "You Don't Know Me" as well, available now on all major streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Danny Arcane! We loved "No Remorse" and "You Don't Know Me"; they felt different, but they were great! We had to ask what inspired "No Remorse"? Were you drawing from personal experience? I drew from personal experience when I wrote "No Remorse." There have been quite a few times in my life when I thought I wanted something, and then when I finally got it, I realized it didn't fulfill the part of me that I thought it would. There were a few jobs I thought were blessings that ended up being a nightmare, a few friendships I thought would enrich my life but ended up being toxic, and probably the primary influence which was chasing after a girl, only to realize I actually preferred the pursuit more than the girl in question. I liked the idea of her that I had created in my head, which wasn't actually the real her. At the end of the day, you can't have remorse for trying new things and meeting new people. It takes time to understand what you want as a person, and there will be some trial and error. You just have to hope you don't do too much damage when taking risks. How did the idea for the "You Don't Know Me" music video come about? What was your favorite part of the creative process for that release? The original idea came to me when I was creating a single artwork. I went to my parent's house and asked to look through all the old photos of me they had. I had them sprawled across the kitchen table. Looking at them, I realized how my life has changed over the years and just imagined telling my younger self everything that's happened. I pictured all the photos talking back, which sparked the initial idea. Over time more thoughts kept popping into my head. I saw a post about people recreating their childhood photos as adults. I loved the idea and decided to combine the ideas together along with some other influences, and the concept was made! My favorite part was definitely the recreating of the photos. Not only was it funny, but having to stage each photograph was challenging in the most fun way possible. It's hard to recreate yourself wrapped up like a burrito using a blanket or sitting in a laundry basket without laughing when you're double the size of the child version of you in the photo. My sister helped me direct the video, and we couldn't stop laughing during that whole process. You mentioned splitting time between the UK and the US growing up. How did growing up in each environment influence you as a music artist, and are there any artists you particularly look up to? It definitely influenced my music taste but in the best way possible. When I was in the UK, the music scene differed from the US and vice versa. Every time I moved, I would have to learn what everyone was listening to and what was trending on the radio. And then, once I felt comfortable, I would move again and have to learn a different genre that was on the rise or currently part of the scene. It was cool because I had cousins that introduced me to Grunge and other genres in America. Then another cousin would put me on to Drum & Bass or Britpop in the UK. So I really had the opportunity to be exposed to more music than if I had just lived in one country. As for artists I look up to, I'm a big fan of Jamie T and King Krule. They're artists with their own sound that people resonate with, and it sounds like they've always maintained their vision. I listen to a lot of Jimi Hendrix as well. Arctic Monkeys is another band that has been amazingly steady in their growth, and they are not afraid to continue to grow and develop their sound. I love their music. What goals do you want to achieve through your music? Through my music, my goal is really to build a community of people who are introspective and really just want to be part of something. I've always wanted to be part of something, and not sure if I'll ever find it, but I'm sure there are people out there who feel the same way I do. I want them to be able to connect with my music and feel they're a part of it. I want people to listen to my music and relive a memory, whether good or bad, to feel something or maybe even discover something about themselves. I want my music to be like the friend you never had, the one that gets you in a way that no one has. I'd also like to use my platform to spread awareness about type one diabetes I was diagnosed with over 10 years ago. What's next for Danny Arcane? What are you excited about for the future, and is there anything you want to say to your fans? I don't know what's next except for making more music, haha. I've been working on my technical playing ability and experimenting with new sounds. I just love making music and connecting with people who listen to it. I'm excited to continue building this community and want my fans to know you can contact me anytime to talk about life, music, and whatever! I have more new music coming soon and will focus on creating some unique visuals to accompany them. I'm very grateful for everyone who listens and watches, and I'm thankful for this opportunity! • Las Vegas Star Fendi Sean Releases “YEAH YEAH”

Sean Christian, better known as Fendi Sean, has been solidifying his place as a trumpeter in the city that never sleeps. Initially, from the loud and glorious jazz mecca, New Orleans, it’s aligning that the trumpet is his instrument of choice, and the wild, flashy, vibrant, extravagant city of Las Vegas is the perfect place to display his talents. Yes, we said talents with an S. It was meant to be plural. This Trumpeter has many gifts: singing, composing, producing, songwriting, and performing, to name a handful. He uses these skills to craft his music, bringing us to his latest single, “YEAH YEAH.” The record encapsulates the fast life of Las Vegas, with a love story intertwined. With the hard-hitting R&B/Trap feels from the atmospheric instrumental, Fendi Sean does his thing and slides on it with his smooth vocals, soft tone, and crafty melodies. All these nifty elements coincide to bring the sexual tension to the pinnacle. Although the lyrics aren’t erotic, they still leave the impression that the temperature rises between the woman in question and Fendi Sean, with lines like “…said she got a lady, Maybe she goes two way, Still texting’ my phone like all day”. From the prestigious hotel residences such as Aria and the Cosmopolitan to the studio, the ability to weave between any musical genre with his voice and trumpet talents gives this multi-faceted star a unique and versatile sound. Don’t miss his latest single, the tension-building, sin-city-inspired “Yeah Yeah,” out everywhere now. Welcome to BuzzMusic Fendi Sean! Congratulations on the release of “YEAH YEAH.” The record seems to bring the fast life of Las Vegas to the forefront. How has the city that never sleeps influenced you as an artist? The city influenced me a lot before I came to Vegas. I was a kid passionate about music education; I wanted to teach & be a band director. I came out here and saw all Vegas had to offer in entertainment, so that became my destiny. Hailing from the Jazz Capital, New Orleans, when did you decide to pick up the trumpet? I picked up the horn at 9 when I moved to Maryland after Katrina. It was more of a tribute to my city after what had happened. How did your musical journey come about? Once I got to Vegas and met my brothers, they showed me what I had inside of me all along. Correct us if we’re wrong, but it sounds like a quiet trumpet sample is tucked into the back of “YEAH YEAH.” Was that your doing, and do you allow your trumpeting talents to shine through on your records? Yes, that’s me playing the trumpet. I always want to showcase the horn in my music. Lately, I have been trying to make my voice the center of my music. We see you appeared on Vice emphasizing your love for Vegas, exclaiming that the Jazz audience is continually growing. Can you juxtapose an R&B record like “YEAH YEAH” to unite the two worlds? Yeah, I have. I love Jazz and always will; lately, I have just been listening to many R&B, like SiR and Don Toliver, so I have found sounds that’ll stand out. Do you harbor some (healthy) hometown pride in bringing Jazz to the spotlight in Las Vegas? I do show my hometown pride whenever I’m on stage. At just nine years old, “Get Money King” wastes no time chasing his dream of becoming a staple in the music industry. Now back with his third single released on July 2nd, 2023, the energetic dance-filled “Look At This Dance” GMK has us all watching, waiting to see where his music will take him next. Since he could barely speak, King could recite the lyrics of every rap song that would come through the speakers, even while having an IEP in speech. At four years old, he asked his future manager, Shaun B, if he could step his foot through the door of the music scene after witnessing the numerous artists coming to record with him. Now with both feet in, it’s clear that he has a fruitful future in this industry. Following the success of two singles he released at age 5, “Juju” and “Road to Skyzone,” GMK is continuing his unstoppable upward momentum. The release of “Get Money King,” accompanied by a lively movement-contagious video, solidifies his reputation as a young aficionado as it is projected to be the most extensive dance record of the year. King even featured a fellow rising artist from Chicago on the record, Hollywood, who perfectly compliments the New Jersey-inspired bounce of the record with dance moves of his own and a gliding verse. The video is focused on dance culture right from the very first second. Get Money King has a natural steez that shines a light on his star-like qualities. The way he moves and sings on the beat like a well-seasoned pro while being surrounded by a whole community of dancers makes us want to jump up and dance. We can’t control the urge; the bounce is too contagious. Having such a refined talent at such an early stage in life is a superb strength that will project this youthful star into the deepest depths of the galaxy. Rumour has it that a full-length EP is coming, and we’re here for it. But for now, let’s “Look At This Dance” and move to the uncontrollable temptation to drive alongside him. Instagram TikTok

  • Francesca Tarantino Keeps The Spirit Of Rock n’ Roll Alive With Her New Release, “Tragedy”

The Florida-based rock n’ roll phenom continues her ascent with this powerful new release. In a world where rock has lost some of the shine it had when it dominated the airwaves, Francesca Tarantino has nonetheless emerged as a future beacon and star of the genre. Harnessing the raw power and emotional intensity that defined rock n’ roll’s golden era, she’s already made waves in the Florida music scene. Having already captivated audiences both over the airwaves and on the stage with her skills and larger-than-life artistic presence, the future looks exciting for Tarantino. With electric releases such as her debut “Runaway” having already garnered significant buzz, we can’t wait to see how far this young star will rise. You could easily make the case that Tarantino and rock n’ roll is a match made in heaven. She grew up on the sounds of Deep Purple, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, and Heart, which shows in her music. Although her musical journey didn’t take her straight to rock (she would have vocal lessons and do musical theatre for four years), she would eventually seek it out. After deciding to learn the guitar, she would take quickly to the instrument, eagerly learning every epic riff she could find. The rest, as they say, is history, and Tarantino began writing her music shortly after that. “Tragedy,” Tarantino’s latest single, continues her quickly building momentum with its melancholy yet powerful sound. Over initially soft rock instrumentals, Tarantino’s vocals and instrumentals create and explosively release in perfect harmony, mirroring crashing waves at the seashore. Dropping lyrics like “It’s a tragedy, this misery / You’re not here with me” and “I have no more dreams / Think I’m gonna scream,” it feels like Tarantino cuts directly to your soul. Attentive listeners will also notice Tarantino’s subtle and not-so-subtle guitar riffs throughout the song, perfectly tying everything together. With influences ranging from the iconic voices of Hayley Williams and Steven Tyler to the groundbreaking sounds of Led Zeppelin and Heart, Tarantino is breathing new life into the age-old spirit of rock n’ roll. Whenever you’re ready, tap in and stream Francesca Tarantino’s latest release, “Tragedy,” available now on all major streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Francesca Tarantino! We loved “Tragedy”; we think your love for good old rock n’ roll shined through here! We wanted to ask, what was the inspiration behind this piece? Could you take us through the creative process for it? Well, I just went through a sad experience with losing my dog, and I was feeling all kinds of emotions, sad, angry, etc. I wanted to write a song that others could relate to and who would handle those feelings, as I’m sure everyone has lost someone. I had the melody and the chorus first and some lyric ideas for the verses then the song grew from there. I brought it to my producer, Mike Walker, who made some upgrades. We both agreed that despite the sad and slow music, we still wanted it to rock! You mentioned you’ve been doing music for a long time, even if it was in different forms. At what point in your musical journey did you realize that music was something you wanted to pursue seriously? I’ve been in love with music since I was a child and would sing and dance around the house constantly and sing loudly with the radio in the car. My dad had guitars, and I would play around with them even though I didn’t know what I was doing. He bought me my own and started teaching me some simple chords. Then, at eight years old, I moved to Florida and started taking some singing lessons, and shortly after that, thanks to my singing teacher, I got involved with musical theatre. While in musical theatre, I realized I wanted to do something that involved music in my life, but I was not sure what the path would be. I added some guitar lessons to my vocal lessons, and it was at that point, about three years ago, I wanted to get back to rock music, and that is when I realized I wanted to make this my career! Although you mentioned you used to be shy singing in front of people when you were younger, you’re not someone who shies away from the big stage now. Do you have any performance you’ve done so far that stands out as your favorite? Oh wow! I have a couple that will always be my faves. My first-ever solo paying gig at The Veranda at Thornton Park - Orlando, was an incredible experience. Even though I was extremely nervous, I will never forget the feeling I had when I started singing and playing my guitar. My friends came to cheer me on, which made it even better! Another fantastic experience has been singing the National Anthem at not one but two Miami Marlins games! It was an absolute honor to be asked and then invited back!! Plus, I watched the baseball game, which is always fun. What characteristic do you think is the most important for a musician to have? Also, what would you want it to be if your listeners could take one thing away from your music? I think it’s essential for any musician to be authentic and be yourself! I hope people can connect to my songs, relate to the experiences I’m sharing, and know they’re not alone. What’s next for Francesca Tarantino? You mentioned you want to release more music before the year ends, right? Also, is there anything you want to say to your fans? Next up is adding more shows and more gigs. I love playing out live and meeting new people. I have two songs ready to be recorded, so one will be out before the end of 2023. Instagram Facebook
