  • The Lori P. Davis Ain’t Bothering With The “Bad Boys” Anymore

The Lori P. Davis Project has arrived and is ready to shake up the country-pop scene. With years of experience as a master of ceremonies in the party and events scene, Lori Davis has taken her talent and knowledge to the music world, creating expressive and relatable songs that are incredibly versatile and perfect for any occasion. At heart, Lori Davis makes free music; it's fun, relatable and easy to listen to, with the added benefit of making you want to bust out for an impromptu karaoke session. Inspired by a diverse range of artists, including Pat Benatar, Alanis Morissette, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, and Olivia Rodrigo, Davis’s music centres around the heartbreak of everyday life and the cathartic release that comes from singing your woes into a hairbrush microphone. Her powerful voice and impactful yet relatable lyrics make her music perfect for road trips, girls’ nights, or solo shower-singing sessions. The Lori P. Davis Project's first single, "Bad Boy," follows her creative ethos. A powerhouse of a song that features a rowdy guitar lick and soaring organs on the instrumentals, lyrics like “The love I needed but never felt” and “I know you’ll be someday forever mine” are delivered with an energy that makes them feel like you want to sing them out. Co-written by Davis and her peers John Stafford and Phylis, “Bad Boy” is a must-listen for any country pop fans and will probably have you singing at the top of your lungs after you listen. With a liberating feel and penchant for making you want to karaoke, The Lori P. Davis Project should be on the radar of any country pop enthusiast. Whenever you’re ready, tap in and stream “Bad Boy,” available now on all major streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Lori! We loved “Bad Boy.” It is a song you can’t help but start singing along to! We have to ask, you mentioned you co-wrote it with some of your peers, but where did the inspiration come from? How did you three come up with the idea for the song? We worked as a team. Phyllis and I created the story. I wrote about my breakups, hurt, and anger, and Phyllis broke it into song form. John Stafford, my ex-boyfriend (haha), then took it and brought it to life musically with my help. Then I took it to a studio and had it mixed. No backup singers, just straight-out lead vocals in both parts. You mentioned that you transitioned from the party events scene to doing music. Was it an easy transition, and did your previous experience gives you another perspective on your music? My previous experience as a DJ working in the club's scenes in Akron gave me 50 percent of what I write. The other 50 percent comes from the heart. My transition has not been fully executed, and I am doing both right now, working as a DJ and making music and making music videos. Busy busy. How would you describe your sound to any new listeners? I can describe my sound to my listeners as a country/pop song that is upbeat, to the point, and sassy! Do you have a favourite musical memory you’d like to share? My favourite musical memory is writing a song and bringing it to life with my team in hopes that people will feel and help them overcome any breakup situation. And when I wrap a great song in a studio, that’s a huge rush feeling. Can we expect to hear more new music soon? Soon to be released this summer is a music video for another duet similar to "Bad Boy." It’s called "Hell 2 Pay," and it’s already on YouTube (song only). One is a pop version, and the other is a country version. I have a few more, and once I get my team together, I will start producing a lot more. I have a “black notebook” full of interesting songs and must finish my project. Not to mention that these songs can be picked up by established artists. I am a songwriter and would love to hear others sing my songs! Instagram TikTok

  • THE MIND ACTION CONFLICT Dives Into A “Fantasy”

Picture a blend of tropical vibes and frosty Scandinavian rock, and you'll start to grasp the essence of THE MIND ACTION CONFLICT. Fueled by frontman Elias's love affair with Cuba, this band embodies the transformative power of music and human connection. Elias's bond with Cuba began seven years ago when the mother of his child introduced him to the island's spirited culture. In Santa Clara, Elias discovered a treasure trove of inspiration, ultimately giving birth to THE MIND ACTION CONFLICT. The band's formation is a testament to the fusion of two distinct musical worlds. It's where the pulsating energy of Caribbean jam sessions intertwines with the raw power of Scandinavian rock. As a result, THE MIND ACTION CONFLICT exudes an eclectic sound that marries the two traditions, serving as a metaphor for abandoning the confines of the mind in favour of action. Enter "Fantasy," the band's latest single perfectly encapsulates this journey. The song's lyrics explore the concept of an idealized mental escape that both entices and troubles Elias. The listener can't help but be drawn into this intriguing paradox as the infectious melody and ethereal lyrics work together to create a truly memorable experience. Listeners are treated to a captivating soundscape as Elias's vocals glide over the mesmerizing beat effortlessly. The poignant lyrics highlight the struggle to find solace in alternative sources of "magic peace," while the outro's repetition of "Try to get back again, Try is the best I can" reinforces the importance of perseverance. "Fantasy" is a triumphant expression of THE MIND ACTION CONFLICT's unique musical vision. It's a vibrant, witty, honest exploration of human emotion and the quest for inner peace. This band has proven that they're unafraid to dive into the depths of their souls to create something extraordinary. We can't wait to see what they'll surprise us with next. Fantasize with this one today, available on all platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, THE MIND ACTION CONFLICT! Congrats on creating a dreamscape with "Fantasy," which delves into the concept of an idealized mental escape; can you share more about the personal experiences or emotions that inspired the creation of this song and its portrayal of a fantasy world? There is a fine line between fantasies as an escape or a way to reach the true self. To live with the expected outcome instead of what is. I’m not sure I know the difference, but I'm aware of the problem. To live within the expected outcome instead of what is. It easily gets you lost with all the wrong actions and answers. Writing this song was a bit like that; a few pieces of separate truths were moulded together. The lyrics of "Fantasy" touch upon the struggle of finding solace and peace through alternative sources. How do you think this theme resonates with listeners, and what message do you hope they take away from the song? Isn't that what all of us do, in somewhat different ways? We put the question differently and look for the answer in various places. But we all want the same thing. To have, create or live the fantasy that makes us feel content. If I've given anyone 5 minutes and 14 seconds to think, I believe there are many things you could take away from this fantasy. Musically, "Fantasy" brings together elements of Scandinavian rock and Caribbean sounds. How did you approach the process of blending these distinct styles while still maintaining a cohesive and engaging sound throughout the track? So I’ve collected several magical sound machines and boxes during the last couple of years; they can make all sorts of fun stuff to audio. Something happens if you combine a few Nordic woodsmen and a pinch of Latin flavour into the blend. Also, I’m very fortunate to have many talented people around, and I’ve heard very good music during my lifetime. Both are crucial while learning how to produce. The outro of "Fantasy" emphasizes the importance of perseverance with the repeated lines "Try to get back again, Try is the best I can." How does this concept of trying and pushing through challenges relate to your personal journey as a musician and the formation of THE MIND ACTION CONFLICT? I came to a point where I had to choose to give up a dream or take action. I chose to do the last because of what happens when you let dreams dry out. That is THE MIND ACTION CONFLICT, an inner battle of knowing what has to be done and the will to act on that knowledge. Following the release of "Fantasy" and its exploration of the quest for inner peace, what direction do you envision for THE MIND ACTION CONFLICT's future music? Can fans expect more fusion of different styles, or will you venture into new territories to continue telling your story? The blend of the impressions from culture and people inspires the most. And the creative outcome naturally becomes a fusion of whatever made an imprint. Since I’m surrounded by talented creatives, I believe the fusion reaches beyond what can be heard. It would be very interesting to explore how the music could look in a visual context. Instagram Facebook

  • Lyle Oliver Sees Through The “Mystery”

From the charming countryside of Scotland to the quaint town of Thornbury, Ontario, Lyle Oliver has made a name for himself as a talented singer-songwriter. This Disney-published writer, who co-penned the song "Notice Me" for the movie Pixel Perfect, has a penchant for crafting music that stands out from the crowd. Lyle's enigmatic style and commitment to constant evolution led him to create his own distinct sound, best described as "tomorrow's music today." Lyle's music is characterized by strong, compelling lyrics and catchy hooks that burrow into your head and refuse to leave. His refusal to be a "cookie-cutter" writer has garnered him a dedicated following, as fans appreciate his ability to push boundaries and defy expectations. Enter "Mystery," Lyle's latest masterpiece. This melodic gem seamlessly blends an elegant piano arrangement with a classic '70s rock feel, resulting in a sonic fusion that's simply mesmerizing. As the song unfolds, you can't help but be drawn in by the delicate balance between the nostalgic, evocative piano and the foot-tapping energy of the rock elements. Lyrically, "Mystery" is an emotional rollercoaster. Lyle sings about a girl playing with his heart, encapsulating the feeling of uncertainty in relationships with lines like, "Baby, we're becoming a mystery now." His voice's raw, soulful vulnerability intensifies the impact of lyrics such as "I'm getting tired, tired and alone with nowhere to turn, I'm searching for answers," creating a profound connection with listeners who have undoubtedly experienced similar heartaches. "Mystery" is a beautifully crafted song showcasing Lyle Oliver's unique sound and ability to write music that resonates with a wide audience. With its blend of elegance, rock, and emotional depth, "Mystery" is a testament to Lyle's exceptional talent as a songwriter and a reminder that he's a force to be reckoned with in the world of music. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Lyle Oliver! Kudos to unravelling the enigma of love on your latest release, "Mystery," which masterfully merges delicate piano arrangements with rock. Can you discuss the creative process behind blending these two styles and how you believe it enhances the song's emotional impact? I am primarily a country, alt-country, and Americana songwriter. I wanted to use the piano as the piano is often used in love songs, and mystery is a love song. A song about the mystery of love and relationships: piano and strings also lend themselves to creating intimacy. I feel the piano is quite beautiful and the song's highlight. The song, in my opinion, would not have the same impact without the piano. Looking at my catalogue, you will see that I don’t have a piano song per day, and I wanted a piano song. I constantly try to grow as a writer by adding different instrumentation to my releases. The lyrics of "Mystery" convey a poignant story of a girl playing with her heart. Can you share some insights into the real-life experiences or emotions that led you to write this alluring story and how you channelled your feelings into the songwriting process? Most of my material is based on everyday experiences, some personal from friends and acquaintances. I am married to the greatest woman I know, yet I still don’t fully understand her. When I think I’ve figured her out, she does something that surprises me. I think that’s good and prevents complacency in a relationship. Mystery reflects how my relationship is constantly evolving. "Mystery" is about the unexpected and someone reacting or acting differently than you expect, essentially about the unpredictability of relationships. In "Mystery," you explore themes of uncertainty and heartache in relationships. How do you approach writing about such relatable topics, and what do you hope listeners will take away from your song? I hope people can identify with mystery in that they can relate to the lyrics in their personal life relationships. I believe "Mystery" has a highly memorable chorus and hope it gets into listeners' heads. Many artists draw inspiration from a variety of sources. What musical influences or artists did you find particularly inspiring while composing "Mystery?" "Mystery," to my ears, has a Chris Isaak vibe. I found the song “wicked game,” which I love and wanted to create a similar vibe and feel. Given the resonance of "Mystery," what are your goals and aspirations for your music career in the coming years? How do you envision your sound evolving, and are there any specific themes or styles you'd like to explore in your upcoming projects? I want to get my music out to as many people as possible. I hope to continue to enlarge my fan base by growing as a writer and evolving. I want to write various materials with a common theme of strong lyrics and catchy melodies. Music that gets into your head. Tomorrow's music today! My next release is a very personal song to me. It’s a song I wrote for my mother. It is entitled “Mama” and is a country rock ballad. It will be released on May 11, Mother’s Day in Canada. I can promise you that the release after “Mama” is completely different. I want to be enigmatic to the end. Instagram Facebook

  • Dmitry Wild And Houses In Motion Join Forces For The Obsessively Good Single, “Small Affliction”

Sometimes, great things come out of compromising situations. For musicians Dmitry Wild and Houses in Motion, the catalyst for a riveting project would come from the COVID-19 lockdown and the artistic challenges it posed for collaboration. The duo’s new album “Fountain of Memory,” recorded mainly from their home studies in upstate New York, is a testament to their creative resilience in the face of the pandemic and its challenges. The duo would get their start when Dmitry met Eric Rosemann (Houses in Motion) on his first day at a new job. Dmitry would start a conversation about music, and they quickly realized they agreed, and the rest, as they say, is history. A fruitful collaboration soon followed; Eric’s mastery of his synths, samplers and drum machines provided the perfect foil for Dmitry’s captivating poetry and lyrics, creating an unforgettable project. “Small Affliction” stands out on what is already a robust offering. Over catchy sonic synths arranged in a rolling beat, Dmitry’s vocals deftly intertwine with the instrumentals to create an otherworldly ambiance. Dropping lyrics like the oft-repeated “I have a small affliction / I like to own beautiful things / When I am flying high I meet them / And you were one of the those / beautiful things,” Dmitry chronicles his bordering obsession with the target of his affection. The upbeat instrumentals provide a layer of “innocence” over the slightly darker implications of the lyrics, providing a creative contrast like the track. Overall, Dmitry and Eric's “Small Affliction” is a must-listen for anyone who appreciates the beauty of creative expression. Whenever you’re ready, tap in and stream Dmitry Wild and Houses in Motion’s “Small Afflictions,” available now on all major streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Dmitry and Eric! We loved “Small Affliction” The two of you were so in sync! You bring out the best in each other. It’s great to see! We must ask, what inspired “Small Affliction?" Dmitry: This was the last track we decided to throw on the album. When I wrote the original version, I felt it could use a remix, so I wrote to Eric, and he said sure; 2 weeks later, he sent me the remix back, and I was like, wow, this is even better than the original. So, then we polished it up, and that’s how it went up. Regarding inspiration, it’s about life lessons, how vulnerable we are as people, and how we all have small afflictions such as shopping, drugs, stress, love, alcohol, cigarettes, and whatever. So that song is a bit of realization of that simple and hard truth, but the powerful message of it is that once you realize it has no hold over us anymore. Eric: Unlike the rest of our project, this one was a remix, and as Dmitry said, it was the last track to come together. The rest of the album gestated over such a long time - with each song undergoing a major transformation. This one was really quick because it wasn’t a collaboration per se, but my reaction to his song, as opposed to him finding the right verses to lay over songs I was composing and then developing that idea from there. Completely independent of our project, Dmitry asked if I might remix a song from the album he was completing for another project. This was the last song on that album, and as soon as I heard the original track, I could hear what I could do with it. So it was (relatively) quick - compared to the rest of the album, and a testament to, yet a total reversal of how we worked together during the pandemic. You mentioned previously that having to record the album upstate when the COVID lockdown happened was a welcome change! What kind of influence did having a calmer environment have on songs like “Small Afflictions” and “Fountain of Memory?" Dmitry: Well, the lockdown was a blessing in disguise since it allowed us time to craft the sound, go through 49 versions of a mix and like 12 takes of 1 vocal. It wasn’t easy to go back and redo it repeatedly, but we felt there was no pressure as well. So since Eric (Houses in Motion) was the producer of this album, he let the songs run their course. Every new version is better than the last, and when you have the time, internal and external influences will all impact the sound—in our case, a time allowed us to get lost in its insignificance. "Small Affliction" and "Fountain of Memory" were written with the slower time signatures in mind since the time would drag slowly by our houses. "Fountain of Memory," lyrically, was more of a meditation on how Renaissance artists such as Da Vinci could also impact us today. Even though I wrote it right before the Pandemic, the words still rang true throughout the lockdown, especially phrases such as no past, present and future. Eric: We started working on this together in October 2019. The album's core came together fast … 1, 2 sessions, and we had a few songs and then played a show. It was raw but had a vibe and a direction forward. Then the pandemic and we both relocated upstate. Without time pressure, things completely changed, and I went deep into the songs and the production. So, the funny thing is, when it started, it was 2 random people coming together in New York City. Then we took our project and fled upstate. But instead of pastoral vs. urban - it meant retreating to my basement and pouring everything into my studio there. So, it was like a moment in time, frozen and transported somewhere else and stretched over a long period of time … It was an outlet in a weird time, which in a way, I think is reflected in the output. Do you two have a favourite memory of working together thus far? Dmitry: For me, it was going to the studio one last time, right before Covid became a thing, and just banging out “Fear Mantra” right there. We just had a concept in mind, and then we were able to recreate it and roll with it, and even though it wasn’t perfect, it allowed us to see how it might sound if we let loose. Eric: I think now, after how long ago this started and how far we and the project have both come since then, having the opportunity to perform these songs live, and to have them out there, is the best part. But I agree with Dmitry that that original spark made it worth pursuing and seeing through. Other than “Small Afflictions,” are there any other songs from “Fountain of Memory” that you’re especially excited for your listeners to hear? Dmitry: For me, Everlasting Drug is an amazing down-tempo psychedelic trip that sounded pristine and beautiful. Also, Venus || is a great banger as well. We always wanted to see what that would sound like in a club with big speakers. Eric: Fear Mantra. For me, that is the manifesto for collaboration. It’s like 5-6 songs in one - each one a separate chapter in the story Dmitry’s telling. Our original live version was VERY close to the final version. I used the 2-track recording of our original performance as the template for the final. Still, I recreated it from the ground up as a slavish cover to the concept and structure of that original version. It was quite a challenge, but I’m happy with how it came out. What’s next for you two? Do you have any big goals for the rest of 2023? Dmitry: As far as us, our big goal was to finish and release this body of work since it is a collaboration project, and we had no big goals further than that. But since the album was received so well, we might come around to another collaboration. Meanwhile, we have some gigs lined up to promote the album; after that, we will investigate licensing the music. We also started talking about doing a cover or two. They remain secret for now. Cheers to making it through the storm on "Between the Sea and the Sky," which offers a captivating visual journey accompanied by your powerful piano playing. Can you share your creative process behind the song's composition and how you drew inspiration from the elements of nature? Hi, thanks! (yeah, it was really touch and go there for a minute). There are certain songs that I've written that come in a flash of inspiration, and "Between the Sea and the Sky" is one of them, so much so that its conception is a blur. But I remember I had the piano part intro, and then the opening line, "When I was young, I was an ocean liner, safe from the waves that would come and go. Now I'm grown and only wanna be a flier", which was clear jumping off point--the idea being of wanting to leave your safe space and go beyond what you've known; and also, what surely led me to the "sea" and "sky" concepts, which I then expanded on using the metaphors of the 'sea' is this life, and the 'sky' being the next. It's probably the most conceptual song I've ever written. I liked the title and concept so much that I named the latest EP after it! The song conveys a message of hope and resilience as life finds balance after weathering the storm. Was there something like a personal experience that inspired this theme, or is it a culmination of your observations about life's trials and triumphs? When I landed on the "sea" and "sky" themes, it led me to reflect on my life, i.e., the awareness that I was approaching (*ahem*) middle age ("between" in the title referencing the midpoint of life). And it also got me thinking about my music career--what I've done so far and what I still want to accomplish. It made me realize I have much further to go--like I'm still at the beginning. That was quite an exhilarating feeling! The visual for "Between the Sea and the Sky" shows you flying a plane through a storm, which gives an unknown element to the story. How did you decide on this theme, and have you had any personal experiences with flying that influenced the concept? Well, the instrumental part in the song is intended to give the feeling of flight, so I knew I wanted flying to be the video's central theme. My director, Dave Doobinin (who I had previously worked with on my video for "Oh Caroline"), had the idea to have me going through a storm and dealing with turbulence. Fortunately, I have been on a few rough flights over the years but have never had to pilot a plane through a storm. LOL. In the "Between the Sea and the Sky" video, you've created a seamless blend of striking visuals and emotional storytelling. How hands-on were you in the video's direction and production, and how did you collaborate with the creative team to bring your vision to life? Besides deciding on the quote to use and making a few edits, I gave Dave, the director, full rein over the video's concept and look and feel. He shot and edited the video, and Jordan Shapiro did the titling for the quote. Dave had previously worked at the Aviation Hall of Fame in New Jersey, where we shot inside two real mid-20th century planes. It was a lucky turn how it all came together. With the release of your latest EP and the award-winning music video for "Between the Sea and the Sky," what can your fans expect from your future projects? Do you want to explore any themes or musical styles in your upcoming work? I'm writing a space-themed song now so I can be an astronaut in my next video (jk!) Musically, I've found some New Orleans influence in recent songs. I've been going to that city for years and spent an extended time down there during covid in 2021, so I guess it makes sense it would seep in eventually. One new song with that influence that I've been performing live recently, "She's Gone and I'm Good for Nothing," I'll be recording for the next album, which I plan to start work on in the fall. I've been in a great creative place recently, writing what I think is my best work to date, so I'm very excited for whatever comes next! Instagram Facebook

  • Interview: Bond Fusion Talks His Flourishing New Single, “Beyond The Trail”

We’re thrilled to speak with such a talented performer like yourself. What was it like growing up in such an artistic family? Thank you so much for having me BuzzMusic! I can remember when I was about 5 years old going to church with my Grandma (Betty) and loved watching her sing and play the piano. She even got me singing a little. My grandmother was an amazing artist. Broadway shows painting, crafting, and anything that involves her creating something she was natural. My dad got back into playing guitar when I was 13. He was always jamming loud Classic rock, Soulful Motown, or Blues. He started teaching me the chords, and the next thing I knew, I was jamming right next to him. Through my teenage years, I was very fortunate to have a best friend who also played guitar. We jammed out every chance we could. It wasn’t until I worked my first job at “Classic Cases,” that I decided to take my music to another level. I got turned on to more masterful style music like Dream Theater, Pantera, Rush, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Al Di Meola, and Strunz and Farah. I couldn’t get enough of the sounds. The guys at “Classic Cases” were guitar shredders and they started teaching me all kinds of scales and riffs. That’s when I knew, at 16. I wanted to be a lead guitar player. Bands were in and out of this place all the time. On my lunch or break, some would take time to teach me things or just jam with me. This company builds fiberglass custom cases for musicians, lighting companies, etc. I guess it was just the right place at the right time. “Beyond The Trail” is truly a beautiful song, and you wrote it 12 years ago! Do you feel that your approach to writing music has changed over the years? I composed a small fraction of “Beyond The Trail” 12 years ago. I slowly just kept adding to it throughout the years. This song has been about all of the ups and downs throughout my life. About the different paths that I chose to take. When I got married, I finally finished it. It took that missing ingredient, LOVE, to finally finish my song. I was so excited, knowing how long I’d had this idea. “Beyond The Trail” is a 12.5-year journey of my life. My approach to composing new music is still similar. I enjoy listening to a lot of different styles genres and, but most of my music comes from my feelings. I feel like I have been able to tap deep into my inner feelings and just pour it all out. Your music can attract a wide variety of listeners across the globe. What do you think had the biggest impact on your overall sound and style as an artist? My biggest impact was the people who inspired me. My family and friends opened my mind to some awesome bands. As far as style goes, Classical Guitar, Latin, Tango, and Progressive Rock have had a big impact on my composition style of music. You’ve said that writing your own music has always come naturally to you. What’s your best piece of advice for aspiring songwriters/musicians who face adversity with writing? Practice, Practice, Practice Every Day! Listen to some of your favorite artists and pick out some sounds and riffs that touch you and explore. You want to build up your ear for listening to sounds. Next thing you know, it will start coming out in your playing. I like using a loop pedal to help me compose. This has been a game-changer. What can we expect to see next from Bond Fusion? Bond Fusion is finishing up an album soon. Stay Tuned! My album release concert and tour dates coming soon. In the meantime, you can catch me in the Austin, TX, area playing my heart out. Instagram

  • Morgan-Paige Take Away Our Fears In "Little Puppet, Dysphoria"

Morgan-Paige is an intriguing artist. If you remember her last month, you'd recall her music being fear-based. Morgan-Paige focuses on synthesizing a sound that will fear listeners and cause them to be uneasy. We've always been attracted to this aspect of Morgan-Paige and how different her artistic goals are compared to most artists creating music today. One of Morgan-Paige's recent single releases, "Little Puppet, Dysphoria," can perfectly display the theme of music Morgan-Paige chooses to be a part of. It's within "Little Puppet, Dysphoria" that Morgan-Paige chooses to speak on the common battle people endure and how masking one's fears is consistently occurring within society. The fearful persona of Morgan-Paige stems from her desire to be honest with listeners and to use certain production stylings in order to incite the very feeling it is we try to hide away from. Morgan-Paige creates oxymorons with her music; she never lightens up on giving listeners a quality performance. Listeners can expect a string of singles to be released from Morgan-Paige, and we're excited to see what dark path her music continues to creep down. Instagram Facebook Twitter

  • Grim Gives Classic Rock And Roll A New Edge With Their Latest Single, “Blood”

In 2016, a new-aged rock and roll band called Grim was formed in Red Deer, Alberta. The band originally formed to perform at a local bar but ended up working on their debut record soon after. Grim ended up playing throughout Alberta consistently. They are a rock and roll band that incorporates southern metal and hardcore influences. With today's music, it's refreshing to hear a traditional rock and roll sound that has its own unique and modern edge. Grim’s new single “Blood” first introduces a gentle instrumental consisting of short electric guitar notes and sparse taps of the snare. The guitars accompany the fast-paced drumming as the tempo eventually kicks up. Most of the vocals are sung through a megaphone which muffles the voice slightly, making it sound like a truck radio. The singers belt out the chorus with a typical rock and roll intensity. Not only do the vocals liven up, but the instrumental background reaches a new level of energy-packed to the brim with upbeat guitar riffs. For anyone who is a fan of in-your-face rock and roll sounds, “Blood” is definitely for you. Stream "Blood," here. Instagram Facebook
