  • The Youthful And Somewhat Dark Indie Pop Of Bream

Bream is a solo project from songwriter and producer Justin Beamer. It's not hard to tell the artist took a lot of emotion from his life and used his music as an outlet. maybe just be sure it doesn't overflow. Something we can all relate to. Although, not all of us can write songs or even full EPs about it all. But Bream seems to be exactly that. Listening to the newly released Oh Well EP is almost like digging deep inside yourself. The songs are spun together with grace and honesty all while remaining incredibly pop-oriented. A full and catchy set of tracks that feel good to listen to. An outstanding array of vocal and synth hooks that really stay with you, the record is unique in the way that you can put songs like "We Can Be Careless" on at a party while songs like "Inhaler" are better listened to alone. To have a release comprised of both ends of that scale is impressive, to say the least. Breamer Spotify Breamer Bandcamp Breamer Pandora #BuzzMusic

  • Come Get A Dose Of Indie Pop Rock with The Summit

With a massive album release, The Summit gives us a lot to listen to. A ton of vocal hooks, and out of it all, our favorite is easily a track called "The Shelf". The song just sucks you in with its acoustic pop groove and really lets you jam out. Soul injected classic rock that feels like you know the song before you get to the chorus. But once you get to that chorus it only gets better and better. So much love and life exist within the album entitled The Def Cat LP. With an absolute megaton of vocal and instrumental power, this LP is for listeners and musicians alike. Some may like "Beach Side Girl" with it's a loose and mellow appeal. Others may like the floaty and jazzy style of "Your Gold Ain't Super". Funk, soul, and more funk on that one. There seems to be plenty to go around with this album. Enough for literally anyone with a love for real music. See for yourself here. The Summit Instagram The Summit Facebook The Summit Bandcamp The Summit Youtube #BuzzMusic

  • Susannah B Adds A New Flair To An Old-School Classic “Crazy In The Heart”

Hailing from Manhattan, Susannah B is the epitome of a Broadway baby. Growing up heavily involved in the arts, Susannah’s father was a photographer and her mother was a composer/lyricist. Her childhood was always flooded with music and theater. Her new album “Girl Gone Wilder” pays tribute to the legendary Alec Wilder, whose career spanned 4 decades, starting in the 1940s. When diving into his incredible music, Susannah realized the excellence and depth of Alex’s songbook and needed to share it with the modern music world. Susannah B directly relates to Alec Wilder for her versatility and stunning vocal capabilities. Susannah’s interpretation of “Crazy In The Heart” is a refreshing yet nostalgic time capsule of musical brilliance. The instrumentation is that of a simpler time and would do Alec Wilder proud. “Crazy In The Heart” features the classic jazz sounds of yesteryear, but with Susannah’s smoky, cinematic vocals fused in. Susannah masterfully tackles this powerhouse song with ease, showing no intimidation to do her idol proud. For those who are unfamiliar with Alec Wilder’s work, Susannah expertly crafts a glimpse at the compositions he created. For those who are familiar with his work, Susannah brings a familiar sound and fuses it with her stunning vocal ability. Whether you’re familiar or not, I highly recommend giving “Crazy In The Heart” and the entire “Girl Gone Wilder!” album a listen, it’s sure to turn anyone into a fan. Listen to “Crazy In The Heart” here and read more with Susannah B below! Welcome to Buzz Music Susannah B! We absolutely loved your tribute “Girl Gone Wilder!” (and the quirky title.) What is it about Alex Wilder that makes you feel so passionate about his music? You know, it’s weird. My love for his work was kind of a slow burn. The first time I ever heard Alec Wilder’s music was when I was looking for a song to perform at an all-Alec Wilder house concert in Los Angeles. My neighbor is a professional tuba player and after he saw my one-woman musical called “Daughter Of…”, he invited me to choose some songs by Alec Wilder to perform. And honestly, it wasn’t “love at first listen”, if you know what I mean. I felt like the songs were kind of old-fashioned, they’re really from another era. Wilder wrote from the 1940’s through the 1970’s, and very few people have recorded his songs compared to some of his contemporaries like Irving Berlin or Johnny Mercer. He’s that kind of songwriter – classic, American Songbook-style standard that makes you feel so uplifted. He also has a great wit and some songs are sassy, funny, and sarcastic in a super-elegant Dean Martin Frank Sinatra kind of way. I’ve been an actor since I was a kid, and I can act these songs, too, which is special for me. So, I chose a few songs and once I learned them, I was hooked. His tunes really got under my skin. They are beautiful and romantic, and sometimes also have these haunting melodies. At the same time, a lot of it is jazzy, cocktail swing, really good-mood music. And I found these incredible musicians who all responded to the music, and as a band, we really made some magic in the studio, I think. And because Wilder was a very unique guy as well as a unique songwriter & composer who never really promoted himself very well, many of his songs are only known by jazz nerds and musicians. I guess when I realized that I was one of the few people singing these songs, and I connected so deeply to them, I wanted to share them with other people. It’s so incredible that your mother was also a successful recording artist! Did you always know you wanted to follow in her footsteps? No, I absolutely had no clue that I would be doing music when I was younger. I am extremely proud of my mom and her legacy as a songwriter. She had a recording deal in the ‘70s with Elektra Records, she opened on tour for Don McLean and Kris Kristofferson, she wrote the best songs on the iconic “Free To Be…You and Me” children’s album and she wrote the score for the long-running Broadway hit “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas”. She set the bar very high in terms of artistic success and accomplishment. It was like, inspiring and also a little intimidating at the same time. And I think it also made me avoid music for a long time because I didn’t want to be compared to my mother (or compare myself to her) and not measure up, you know? So, I decided when I was a young child that I was going to be an actor, and that’s what I pursued for many years -- not music, not songwriting, not singing. But somewhere in my late ‘20s, I was trying to quit smoking cigarettes, and I went back to singing as a substitute for the bad habit, and it really worked. I realized that singing feels so amazing, physically as well as emotionally. And once I was singing, I started hearing melodies and lyrics in my head and that was the start of the next 20 years, over which time I have released 4 albums of my own songs and the most recent one which is all covers of Alec Wilder songs. My mom was very encouraging of my songwriting, she liked some of my lyrics a lot, which made me happy. But she did not hesitate to give critiques, too, which was helpful sometimes, not so many other times. “Crazy In The Heart” seems so well suited to your voice and style. How did you carefully choose which songs would be featured on your album? Thank you! I know, one of the big surprises for me with this material is how well it seems to fit my voice. I really didn’t know that going in, I mostly sang pop and rock, sometimes a few musical theatre tunes, but not standards like his. As I said before, I started singing these songs at a house concert hosted by my neighbor. And after the first one was a hit, we kept doing more, so over the course of 2 years, we did 8 concerts total. This allowed me to try out a lot of Wilder’s songs. Some were just okay, but some really clicked with me, with my personality, with my voice. It was a lot of trial and error. And of course, performing the songs in my neighbor’s gorgeous, a high-ceilinged living room meant I sang without a microphone. It was really pure. And I stood two feet away from the audience. I could feel which songs they responded to the most. Ultimately, I chose my favorite songs for the album because they were audience pleasers and they could all be updated with modern, original arrangements. I love grooves, so every song had to lend itself to some kind of groove, even if it was a slow one. We know that you're a lover of integrating a variety of elements into your music. Would you ever incorporate contrasting genres into your music, or do you think it would ruin the type of sound you're attempting to reach? Totally! I do love to dance, I love electronic music, so I am working with a DJ now to try and get some remixes of the Girl Gone Wilder tunes that would have a bit more of a club-lounge vibe. Don’t know when they’ll be done, but hopefully, soon. Thank you for taking the time to chat with us! What’s next for you artistically? Do you have any upcoming shows you’d like to mention? Next up for me is a project I’ve had for a long time that I’m really happy to finally be doing. I’ve written a few scripts before (my first screenplay Bellyfruit was made into a film a while back) so I know how to tell stories that way. This project will let me combine all my talents into one – I am co-writing a TV series which is also a musical with original songs and lots of singing. And I’ll act on it and it will feature many of my super-talented friends. I hope to get that done in 2020. And then there will be some touring of my Alec Wilder show – New York City, Abilene & Austin, Texas, and hopefully, San Francisco is on the list for 2020. And my band and I will continue to do house concerts in Los Angeles and the surrounding area as benefits to raise money for different charities. There are too many people and too many causes that need our help, and my music is a small way that I can give back and help out the earth. It makes it much easier to promote myself when other folks benefit, too! Otherwise, interviews like these would make me feel much more shy and nervous than they do! Thanks again for your interest. Take a listen to the music, guys! Hope you like it! www.facebook.com/susannahbmusic #BuzzMusic

  • NEW MUSIC: Josh Kroehn Releases Debut EP “Something I’ve Found”

All the way from Adelaide, South Australia, Josh Kroehn has been establishing his authentic sound for many years. Starting at a young age, Josh was always interested in music and then discovered the musical catalogs of his parents. His influences including singer/songwriters like Ben Howard and Dallas Green (City and Colour) as well as alternative rock bands like Radiohead and Pearl Jam. With the release of his debut EP “Something I’ve Found” there are a number of reasons to keep an eye on Josh as he continues down the artist's path. “Josh’s music delves into a world where his guitar playing creates textures that carry, conflict and challenge his vocal tones and colours in biographical confessionals.” “Something I’ve Found” comes in hot from the offset with an introductory track titled “Processed Life”. The song offers an underlying sentiment that seems fairly inspiring and of depth, inviting the listener to consider these ideas, and to feel the embrace of the music as its weight and intensity fills the room. The resulting effect is hopefully that you feel as if there’s a certain power or possibility within you with the intention and purpose of Kroehn’s lyrics. “Here I Burn” follows the opener and immediately changes things up. The lyrics stand tall, this catchy melody and the references feel extremely vulnerable and appealing for their desire to connect with their listeners. The lightness of the music captures your affection and Josh Kroehn’s voice is contagious and very genuine to listen to. At about one and a half minutes in, the music evolves into an intense ballad. Josh Kroehn delivers captivating vocals and a burning passion for the art form. With the next track “Don’t Fight” there’s an apparent sadness but it’s intertwined with optimism and a hopeful search for the future. The song takes you on a journey with it, loaded with imagery and self-reflection, you feel enjoyably involved in the experience as a listener. “Don’t Fight” is an absolute highlight and a definite personal favorite. A simple yet addictive melody is accompanied by intriguing, questioning lyrics, and the minimalist strum of a guitar. To finish off an incredible project, “Back in Time” is another highlight! Gorgeously ethereal vocals entrance the listener, while deeply considerate and honest lyrics drive a concept through. You get so much clarity from this project as if these are the songs that had to be sung, the thoughts that had to be shared. “Something I’ve Found” features incredibly expressive lyrics and delicious melodies, plus a musical build-up that intensifies superbly. Josh’s vocal tone and the style of these songs offer a distinct thread throughout, mood-wise though there’s plenty of eclecticism at work, and for these reasons, this EP makes for a wonderful playlist to escape within. The musicianship on this project is consistently flawless, well done Josh Kroehn! Check out “Something I’ve Found” here and read more with Josh Kroehn below! Welcome to BuzzMusic Josh Kroehn! Congratulations on your new EP! Can you tell us more about your intentions when you first began to curate your recent project“Something I’ve Found”? Thank you for having me! My intention was purely to put out a debut EP that I was proud of and hopefully is a true representation of who I am as an artist to listeners. You've had such a strong love and passion for music for many years! How do you think you and your music have grown since you first started writing, versus now? When I was in my teens I was mostly into heavier genres of music, led by my obsession with the guitar and being into bands like Metallica and Rage Against The Machine. Due to personal circumstances and life events, I started to seek out sadder music and came across artists such as City and Colour and Bon Iver, which led me to start writing more Folk influenced music. In 2014 my Mum paid for me to get some singing lessons which were a surprise birthday present and this is when I started thinking that I could give the whole singer/songwriter thing a go. Since then there have been a few records that have had a major influence on my current sound. Ben Howard’s ‘I Forget Where We Were’ (2014), Julien Baker’s ‘Sprained Ankle’ (2015) and Radiohead’s ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’ (2016) really connected with me and made me want to make music that is cathartic for me personally, and hopefully other people can share a similar experience when listening. "Processed Life" is the perfect track to open up your recent album. Where did you draw inspiration for this particular track? This was a track I wrote while I was still at Uni in a degree program that I wasn’t overly enjoying and had pushed music to the side. It’s about escaping what felt like being trapped in a process to me. The music itself with the abrupt dynamics suited the vibe I was going for with this song, and I wanted people to sit up and take notice of the first track. "Here I Burn" is flooded with absolute passion and emotion. What emotions were crucial to channel when creating this song? “Here I Burn” is another track written a while ago, and it's simply about doubting myself and not thinking I’m good enough to do what I love. So I was channeling emotions from a negative, sad place where I didn’t really enjoy being, but it made for a cathartic personal song for me. Thank you so much for sharing your new music with us! What else are you working on going forward? Do you have any upcoming shows to promote the new EP? I’m currently in the early stages of recording a debut full-length album, which I’m super excited about, as I’ve always been an album front to back kind of listener. I have my EP launch show at The Jade here in Adelaide this Friday, October the 11th, with doors opening at 8 pm. www.joshkroehn.com #BuzzMusic

  • Frontman Sunny Riot Has Listeners Asking: Who Is Poplife?

Fronted by Sunny Riot, Poplife is a new band that seemingly came out of nowhere in recent months. Their debut single “Poplife” is out now and the band says to expect an upcoming album and an explanation in the near future! The opening fuzz and weight of the electronically powered “Poplife” hit with intense impact. The spoken word segments that follow unsurprisingly manage to captivate every step of the way, thanks to the experimental introduction. “Poplife” is an effective and fascinating bit of artistry, one that quite cleverly represents its underlying process and concept in a brilliantly fitting way. There’s a mildly theatrical nature to “Poplife”, certain production details help reinforce this approach, holding close to that cinematic vibe while still maintaining a sense of intention and relevant artistry. As the song progresses, you descend into this strangely calming, the hypnotic cave of electronic warmth and rhythm. The mind wanders freely amidst this seemingly organized chaos. The latter half of the track is equally intense. The experience moves from unexpected to skillful in keeping with its underlying intentions. The comforting embrace and weight of the synths contrast somewhat with the electronic strength and darkness initially presented. A haunting and fairly unforgettable experience, we can't wait to hear more from Poplife. Check out “Poplife” here and read more below in our exclusive interview. Welcome to BuzzMusic Poplife! Awesome to have your music featured on our website! Tell us about the recent projects you have in the works Thank you so much for your support.  Poplife is three years in the making.  It’s about love.  It’s about society.  It’s about drugs. It’s about medicine.  It’s about money. It’s about good and evil, God and Satan.  It’s about George Michael, it’s about Drones.  It’s about sex addiction, it’s about prayer. It’s about homelessness, it’s about genders.  It’s about riots and it’s about peace.  It comes out soon.   We absolutely love the new song “Poplife”! Can you tell us more about the inspiration behind the song? It’s inspired by Ken Loach, Top Boy, David Bowie, and Arsene Wenger.   As a mysterious new project, what can you tell us about the future of Poplife? How did the band originally come to fruition? We all met at Euro 2016 during a fight between English and Russian football supporters.  Sunny was with the Russians oddly.  As for the future of Poplife?  Carnage. What would you say inspires you and your music? The impending end of civilization as we know it.  And George Michael.   Thank you so much for chatting with us! Can you tell us about any upcoming live performances? Do you prefer live performance over the actual songwriting/recording process? We haven’t played any shows yet but we will.  Poplife live will be like nothing anyone has ever seen before. instagram.com/poplifeband instagram.com/iamsunnyriot #BuzzMusic

  • A Brilliant New Single By Noah Horne: "Lift Off"

Noah Horne is a musician who wants to show you an otherworldly experience. His instrument of choice isn't too common nowadays, but mixing harp into his songs has given Noah the opportunity to expose his audience to its fantastical sound. Noah was born in London and raised in the British countryside of Norfolk County, where music has a great impact on communities. This passion inspired Noah to pursue music full-time despite opposing opinions. He went on to join the music project "Wild Life FM" in 2015, a show ran by teenagers looking to touch on important issues such as teenage anxiety and songwriting, and breaking the status quo through music. Now based in London, Noah has polished his pop-influenced sound and has released his first three singles as a trilogy of songs. The third and final track was just released on October 4, so let's take a look at it! "Lift Off" is an enchanting take on a classic pop song. Noah and his harp shine from start to finish. The harp's sound is so familiar and calming but sounds so unique when presented with elements typical of music today. For example, the lyrics about letting go of a toxic relationship instantly reminded us of pop anthems we oh so love to sing like "Teenage Dream" by Katy Perry or "Blank Space" by Taylor Swift. And the chorus is just as killer. Combine that with Noah's tender voice and it creates the most charming song that is "Lift Off". It's fresh and so uplifting, despite being a breakup song in nature. His take on music is brilliant, so please make sure you give "Lift Off" a listen! Check it out here. Noah! Hello and welcome to BuzzMusic! "Lift Off" is stunning and truly refreshing. Can you tell us how the sound of this song fits into the trilogy of hits you've released this year? Hello BuzzMusic! Thank you so much. Firstly I just want to say thank you so much for taking the time to listen to my music, it means planet earth to me. Lift Off is definitely the rawest song out of the trilogy. It’s also the most left-field and weirdest out of all of them so that really excites me. It’s much more stripped back as it needs to be the most human and upfront, highlighting the natural quality, as if I was just speaking to someone next to me. The song is about letting go of a toxic relationship and adding squeaky clean pop synths just wasn’t the right approach for this original record. For the remixes - absolutely! All I needed for this original track was my solo vocal, the harp, a piano to ground the emotional vocal down and reverb to create a sense of space between me and this toxic person drifting into outer space. Where did you get the inspiration to write "Lift Off"? I wrote Lift Off when I was 19. I had fallen for someone so badly and they didn’t love me back - it was horrible! I don’t wish it on anyone.  When I was being isolated by my peers and by this toxic relationship, the only place around me to look for hope was up. My grandad showed me that Norfolk in the UK has one of the clearest night skies in the country, you can see the galaxies and stars, giving you a sense of hope, knowing there are bigger things in life. There’s a space-age optimism movement that has been sifting into the popular culture since the 1950s and it circulates around hope. My mum showed me cartoons when she was young including button moon and Wallace and Gromit, where there were stories of people driving their cars to the moon to have a picnic lunch. I began to form this childlike image of putting this toxic person in a hot air balloon and launching them into outer space and never returning, and that was when we had ‘LIFT OFF’! Kinda savage when I thought about the imagery, but drastic measures needed to be carried out to get this person out of my life haha. My imagination is pretty surrealistic and I needed to reflect that through the song. I literally wrote Lift Off on my younger sister's mini toy keyboard, as she was starting to learn piano at the time. I don’t know what it was but the lyrics and the music just came together so naturally, nothing was forced and I wasn’t searching for the hook, it was just there. What do you hope listeners take away when they listen to your music? Sometimes we need to let go of toxic people or relationships in our lives to progress forward. I was isolated as I teenager because of who I am now, people bullied me and I was pushed to the fringe. I was a misfit. My music shows how I was alienated (hence the outer space backdrop), but also how we can be better people by coming together, becoming more inclusive and bonding over music. There is also not enough unification and the world has lost a sense of community. What delights me about your amazing blog is that you have a community of people. Communities exist but it's crucial to continue to come together. You've talked about focusing on pop and dance-orientated music. Which artists do you feel most connected to musically from these genres? Great question! In terms of where I am heading, I love what Lady Gaga and Sia have done, huge commercial successes but they have a sense of being a misfit and rejected by the mainstream, pushing them to the fringes, catapulting them into the mainstream market. There’s the EDM club music influenced by the queer DJs in 1980s NYC, but with lyrical themes nodding to the zeitgeist of self-acceptance and becoming inclusive. Clean Bandit, however, is just incredible. I would like my sound to steer down that path, with the EDM and the acoustic harp just blending together perfectly. Aside from genres, Lana Del Rey is my favorite artist, her concept of the 60s sad core Hollywood is brilliant, I really think so! There are some elements I will take from Perfume Genius and Imogen Heap too, so different yet so interesting to listen. Hide and Seek by Imogen Heap is one of my favorite songs as it's all about isolation, which is reflected through the alien vocoder, utterly beautiful. Thank you Noah! What's the next focus for you and your music? Thank you so much, your superstars! Well…I’ve got a new exciting track coming out early next year which is going to go down the dance-pop path, I literally cannot wait for you guys to hear it. The next focus is performing live a lot more in London and finally lifting off more into the big wide world. A debut EP maybe even dropping next year, it will be fun! Everything's so scary and so unknown right now, but I have so much faith in the future that everything will become clear and fall into place. Much love to you! x noahhornemusic.com instagram.com/noah_horneofficial facebook.com/noahhorneofficial soundcloud.com/noah_horne #BuzzMusic

UPndeniably uplifting and purely relatable, I highly recommend you check out “You’ve Got It” and stay on the lookout for more from BLSNG. Listen to “You’ve Got It” here Hey BLSNG! Welcome to BuzzMusic! We love your original sound! How long have you been involved in the music industry? How did you get first started? Hi! Thanks for having me! Glad you guys like the single! I am brand spanking new to the music industry. My involvement with music has mostly been within the church because that’s where I grew up and really developed this gifting. I’ve always led worship and have done so since I was about twelve or thirteen. We love your song “You’ve Got It”! It seems deeply personal and uplifting. What did you hope to achieve with this release? So this song was written over a few weeks of just being woken up without fail at 5 am every morning over a year ago. I couldn’t fall back asleep so I’d go for a drive and pieces started to come together, now here we are! My hope with the release of this song was A) to literally just share where I was in life. I think we live in this paradox of a world where we’re so connected yet very lonely at the same time or we’re watching people’s “highlight” moments on social media thinking we’re behind and there’s a lot of shame and anxiety and comparison that goes on. I think sharing and vulnerability break that cycle because people realize they’re not the only ones. B) I wanted people to know that they didn’t have to carry the weight alone. One of my favorite passages in the bible says, and I’m paraphrasing here, you can’t add an hour to your life by worrying, there’s enough going on today. So let tomorrow worry about itself and give it to God, so that’s exactly what this song is about. This debut really highlights your versatility as an artist. Will you be releasing a larger project in the near future? Yes! The plan is to have an EP out next year hopefully early spring. I’m excited!! How would you say your music now compares to the music you curated when you first started out at songwriting? I think when I first started songwriting, I had a particular formula based on what I heard that I thought I had to adhere to as far as structure or even subject matter, but as I’ve grown older, I don’t feel like there’s any one way to write a song and I like having the freedom to write about any and everything. We really appreciate you taking the time to chat with us! Do you have any shows or events coming up that you’d like to let us know about? No upcoming shows/events as of yet, but I am available! Haha facebook.com/BLSNGMUSIC instagram.com/blsngmusic #BuzzMusic

  • Hip Hop Veteran Young Trap Drops New Album “Hustle & Glow”

“Hustle & Glow” is a dope new album from Memphis based artist Young Trap. This project truly highlights his intense versatility and pure skill as an artist. An easy highlight and intro from the new album is “On Me”, a song that starts out strong and continues to build in a refreshing way throughout. Even at barely past the two-minute mark, there are moments of varied melody, beat refrain, and rap, that help create something structurally intentional yet still always rhythmically entrancing and connected enough to really envelop the listener. Tracks like “I’m a Dog” Ft. Mista CEO hit with a little more impact, a stronger beat that picks up the pace, yet still you get this hard-hitting vocal delivery, and these again eclectically set-up sections, throughout all of which Young Trap presents his rhythmic bars with ease. “The Gang” Ft. J. Simon is a sick track that all about the hustle and success. Equipped with a dynamic sound and unique beats, Young Trap and J. Simon are sure to have you vibing along. The vocals are hypnotizing throughout. His smooth flow and flawless bars can be accredited to his years of experience and raw talent. “My Ex” Ft. Boneyafterparty is a definite highlight and the perfect starting point if you’re new to Young Trap’s work. Taking full advantage of current style trends in hip hop and RnB right now, the track kicks off with a strong balance between melody and rap, rhythm and confidence, color and calm. If you’re a fan of the genre, Young Trap and Boosie Badazz have done a mighty job of incorporating every element known to give a track strength. Instrumentally immersive, vocally versatile and energetic yet smooth all at once, “For The Hood” Ft. Boosie Badazz makes for a refreshing and brilliantly professional track. The songwriting style meets with an eclectic approach to musicality, resulting in a relevant and stylish new album that’s well worth a run-through or two. “Love On You” Ft. Kyree Sterling gives us old-school hip-hop vibes while remaining contemporary and addicting. Young Trap’s honesty and vulnerability are on display throughout this single. The raw desire and sultry bars make “Love On You” unparalleled in today’s hip-hop scene. Getting a message across, effortlessly reciting perfect lyrics, and finding/creating beats to match is Young Traps’s specialty. The next track “On My Belt” showcases flawless production quality and the artistry is professional and finely-calibrated. The way Young Trap approaches his life, his drive, his work ethic and his motivation, all on another level in “On My Belt”. I think that this track really embodies that message with the confident lyricism. Throughout “Get Scooped” Young Trap’s flow is precise and flawless as he recites every bar with timed perfection and style. It’s honest and raw and shows a side of the artist we’ve never seen before. The production quality is incomparable and the backbeat is addicting. “Ohh Yea” injects a hit of haunting darkness, a musically fuller soundscape meet the high energy of Young Trap’s vocal and ideas in a powerful way. Then you get the simple and somewhat retro vibe that is the most interesting soundscape yet. “Too Much Sauce” stands out for its louder confidence and that anthem-like rhythm and energy once again. Young Trap takes full advantage of the opportunity to perform and enjoy himself, and it shows well. “Fuck Love” Ft Too $hort ends the project with a slightly more literal take on modern life and the struggles of love. Another side to the artist emerges, and it works well to end the show on a high. The whole album “Hustle & Glow” will propel Young Trap’s career to new heights and we can’t wait to see what he delivers next. The storytelling aspects of “Hustle & Glow” have me addicted from start to finish. I think that Young Trap is incredibly talented and skilled at connecting with his fans. He writes lyrics that speak to the listeners and music for anyone to vibe to. No stranger to success, his album “Hustle & Glow” is yet another big step in the right direction for Young Trap. Check out “Hustle & Glow” here and read more below in our exclusive interview below! Great to have you here Young Trap! “Hustle & Glow” is your debut album, how do you feel about the overall execution of the project? I wasn't actually working on an album. I was just dropping singles. My fans kept asking me when my album was dropping so I put together "Hustle & Glow' from the existing unreleased song I had. There's such addicting energy to “Hustle & Glow”! What kind of emotions are you attempting to project to listeners with the album? I wanted the listeners to understand what a day in my life consists of. • LA's Lulise Steals Our Hearts With Her New Single 'Lovin' You'

In 2019, Los Angeles native Lulise launched her solo career after a career in writing and performing with Honey and Jude, collaborating with producers Andres Torres, (Justin Beiber, Demi Lovato) and Chapters (5 Seconds of Summer, Jessie J.) In 2018, she worked with mentor Allan Rich (Whitney Houston, Ray Charles). penning her best songs yet. We're even more impressed with her sound and natural singing talent. In R&B, it's traditional to sing about new love, the sadness of lost love and the acceptance of unrequited love. On her new single "Lovin' You," Lulise puts you straight into the relationship that has come to an end. Her ability to effortlessly communicate her struggles briefly infects the listener with a fresh new R&B sound. The skittering drum beats, smooth relaxing chords, perfectly timed glimmering chimes, the rich deep bassline with uplifting horns will have you wanting more of this R&B inspired track. Despite its downtempo vibe - the track "Lovin' You" has a finger-snapping R&B throwback charm that is perfect for repeated play after a breakup. We highly recommend you check out Lulise's "Lovin' You" and stay on the lookout for more releases from this rising Los Angeles artist. • Interview: Bianca Aristía Talks New Album!

Hey Bianca! We're so happy we can feature you and your latest music here on BuzzMusic! How do you feel your music has been developing over time? Thank you for having me! I've always been a singer-songwriter, ever since I was a kid, so that's a long story. In my teenage years, I was already fascinated by music production and recorded my first albums, that I didn't publish by then but it was the beginning of all this. To do this professionally there was more I needed to learn first. I studied music (Voice Jazz/Pop) in Leipzig, Germany and that taught me so much about different styles of music, that all went into my songs and made me define my own style even more. I like to use many influences at times (Jazz, World Music, Latin) but at the center of it, all my style is modern R&B/Pop, what I like to call Indie R&B/Pop because I'm an indie artist, with my voice in the center of the performance. "Enough" is an incredibly memorable and authentic single. Can you tell us more about how the creation process went for the song? I wrote this song in pure emotion after a breakup and it has changed it's musical shape many times since then. I first created a demo, then played it live with my band and then in the production process of my new album "Rise" we changed the arrangement completely again to a modern Trap/Hip-Hop sound. I really like where it went and it goes really well with the message I convey. It's a very important part of the story of my album. We know there is a deeper meaning and story behind "Enough". Are you able to share with our BuzzMusic listeners what the song truly means to you, and where you drew your inspiration from? Obviously it's a breakup song and it goes very deep for me. Letting go of something that no longer supports you is very important and it is a self-loving decision. I believe relationships are mirrors and I look at myself when I talk of the other person. There is some truth to be found there. But at the same time, it is so important to express your thoughts and feelings and above all your boundaries. I had a hard time with boundaries for most of my life until recently when I decided to speak up for myself and not tolerate things that made me feel uncomfortable anymore. This is so important and there is so much personal power that's set free when you do this. This doesn't mean to hurt people or be mean on purpose but to be honest with yourself and your feelings. ENOUGH is a feeling state of mine, something I had to say. I feel my own power in it strongly because I believe everyone deserves to be loved and supported unconditionally. When this is no longer the case in a relationship, most of the times it is best to part ways for everyone involved. That's life and its ever-changing ways. Pretty magical I believe, because I rose quite strongly from these after-breakup times. They taught me so much about myself and where I wanted to be. They formed me and made me find more happiness. It is a good thing in the end. We're excited to hear that you have an upcoming album coming out on October 18th! How long has this project been in the making? What can you tell us about it? Yes! My new album is titled "Rise". I've been working on it with my producer & keyboardist Lennart Jahn for more than 2 years now. I started collecting songs, some of which I also already carry for longer and chose the ones that fit into the story I wanted to tell. "Rise" is all about personal transformation and literally rising from events that made you feel broken. I believe that through relationships you can learn so much about yourself and this inspires me so much again and again. The album is a complete cycle from a break up to learning about yourself & how to accept yourself more, facing your fears and moving into a new more loving relationship but also towards your own dreams and desires. We produced, mixed and mastered all the songs ourselves - so this is a 100 % DIY project. I loved the process because it enabled me to shape the sound exactly how I wanted it and express myself 100 %. Can you explain the personal connection you feel with music? I cannot imagine life without music. I've always been singing, writing songs and making music, so I need it very much. It frees me and it is therapy - expressing myself completely and singing it all from my soul. I can't go too long without singing, that's just unnatural. The most magic thing is when I feel bad and write a song about it. It feels like this feeling down benefited me and in the end, there's the song and the uncomfortable emotion has left with it. That's amazing. Thanks for coming to BuzzMuisc to talk with us about your recent music! Can you describe how your performances feel? Do you enjoy live shows, or do you prefer the actual songwriting process? Also, any live shows coming up in the near future?! I enjoy both very much. Songwriting is great because it is a retreat from the world for me, just being with my music. But I also absolutely love playing live especially with my amazing band. I've been playing live with them for over 5 years now. They also studied music and really find themselves in R&B/Soul, so that's perfect. When we're on stage together there's so much energy. My music is already powerful on its own but supported by this band it's an incredible experience that also pushes me higher as a singer every time. We have a tour coming up presenting my new album "Rise" in Germany and Spain. Some shows will be with the full band and others duo or solo: OCTOBER 14 - BERLIN, Bar BoBu OCTOBER 15 - MADRID, TBA OCTOBER 16 - MADRID, TBA OCTOBER 18 - HALLE, Lichthaus OCTOBER 23 - LEIPZIG, Kulturlounge OCTOBER 24 - WIESBADEN, Wohnzimmer OCTOBER 29 - WEIMAR, Mon Ami facebook.com/BiancaAristiaMusic instagram.com/biancaaristia #BuzzMusic
