- Rock Diva VILIVANT Is Finally “Stabilized”
Independent rocker and 18 year old female artist VILIVANT has been making noise and touring Toronto, Canada for two years. As the lead singer of Canadian Rock Band Five Two Eight, VILIVANT is now releasing her solo sound to the world. With a few original songs under her belt, VILIVANT has her foot on the gas pedal and is showing no signs of slowing down! One of VILIVANT’s solo releases is the hard-hitting rock anthem “Stabilized”. The emotive lyricism, pummeling guitar, tight rhythms and VILIVANT’s powerhouse vocals fuse together to form an undeniable rock hit! This absolute smash will have you head banging and rocking out wherever you may be. VILIVANT’s confidence and finely-calibrated sound is established well beyond her young age. “Stabilized” is a motivational track about female empowerment and the fire within all of us. VILIVANT is unapologetically herself and we can’t get enough! The hard-rock diva is delivering nothing but hits and we can’t wait to see what she brings to the table next! Listen to “Stabilized” here and keep scrolling to read more in our exclusive interview! Welcome to BuzzMusic! We love your sound! Can you tell us more about your upbringing? How did you get started in music? Answer: I was first introduced to music at a very young age. I started my first music lessons with the piano at the age of 3, and got into singing when I was 8. My family has always been music lovers. As a kid, the rock station was always playing in the house... so I guess you can say that's how I found my love for rock and metal music. Tell us all about your new track “Stabilized”! What was the writing a process like for this song? Answer: 'Stabilized' came from a time where I was most vulnerable. Taking hits when I shouldn't have, talked down to when I knew better. It was then that I realized that I SHOULDN'T let people change who I am, my style, and what I listen to. No matter how strange it may seem to some, I am 'stabilized' the way I am. We love your authentic and powerful vocals, have you had any professional training? Answer: Yes! I first took lessons at "Moura Music Studio's" in Bolton Ontario by Kate Swan, and I am now working with Teresa Cirillo. They have both helped me develop my voice so much! If it wasn't for them, my vocals wouldn't be the way they are. Of course, I am still learning and will continue to pick up on new things. Who are your top three musical influences? Why? Answer: It's so hard to pick 3! If I had to choose it would be Chis Cornell, Layne Stanley and Lzzy Hale. They are all so different, but their vocals are (were) outstanding. You could never truly replace them. Can we expect to see a lot more solo material from you? Is the release of a few solo singles pointing towards an entire EP? Answer: Yes! I will be releasing a 4 song EP by the end of the year, and will be setting up some tour dates in the near future! I can't wait for you guys to hear these songs live! - Get Lost In The Dreamy Vibes Of Sami Sol’s Latest Release “I Hope”
New recording artist Sami Sol was born in Brooklyn, NY to a single mother who worked extremely tirelessly to make sure Sami had everything she needed to excel in the arts. The 24 year old artist had a unique upbringing filled with diverse musical experiences. Sami Sol began taking her music more seriously at age 19, crafting her own authentic sound from the ground up, and hasn’t looked back since. “I Hope” is Sami Sol’s latest realest and we can’t get enough of this dreamy single. Laced with smooth R&B backbeats and a contemporary pop sound, Sami layers her sultry vocals over the catchy melody. “I Hope” is a track of well wishes and positivity with slight undertones of melancholy and yearning. Sami Sol knows that no one will ever measure up to love she gives but she’s grown enough to know that it wasn’t meant to be. At just over 2 minutes, Sami is able to tell a story through he relatable lyricism. Sami’s sound incorporates her inspirations of alternative R&B, with twists of dancehall influence & hip hop flowing through her music. I highly recommend you check out this brilliant track and stay on the lookout because Sami Sol’s first EP, "Serving You Art" is set to release summer 2019. Check out “I Hope” here and keep scrolling for more with Sami Sol! How did you get started writing music? What made you want to record it and take it more seriously? I started writing music with an ex boyfriend who really helped me understand that I was an artist and I needed to take full control of that. I was 19. I can say that I've always been a writer though, in middle school I used to write some WICKED, raunchy poems & crazy short stories lol. I've always been the one to take a couple bullets for my writing style but I was a writer. My ex was an artist so he introduced me to the studio and from then on I've been on this journey to finding myself as an artist. I dont think I have a particular sound but I think I make some pretty good tunes lol. And I've come a long way since then, lyrically & vocally. It's not as easy as it looks though. I always loved music & I was raised in a musically inclined household that pushed me to be in performing arts from a young age. This is something I've always wanted to do & was destined for. So it's always been serious for me. We love your song “I Hope”! Can you tell us more about the meaning of the lyrics? What inspired this song? Thank you so much for tuning in. It's one of my favorite records I've created so far. Well, the lyrics arent that deep on this record, I wrote it straight from the heart and exactly what I was feeling. I was in an abusive relationship & being able to find my self worth & leave that situation, I still wanted the best for the both of us. I still kept my heart open for another chance at love & I won't let the actions of someone else determine what I get to do with the rest of my life. "I hope we move along and get better with time!!!" And that's exactly what I'm doing. My past doesnt define me. Lol How do you feed your passion for music everyday? I listen to tons of music, I dissect life, my feelings, other people etc. But I'm always inspired by someone or something. Keeps me wanting more out of music & trying to expand my artistry through exploring new sounds. What do you hope your listeners take away from your songs? Whatever they want tbh. Art is subjective. I love the different perspectives people have when they talk about my music to me. But if I had to choose I would hope that they grasp from MY music that it's okay to be vulnerable. Vulnerability is the key to growth. Do you have any upcoming shows, events or releases you want to talk about? As of now I'm gearing up to release my first body of work called "Serving You Art". It's an EP, I think its versatility will have the people hooked & I cant wait being that it's my first project ever. I'm super excited!!! I've been working on it since last year. It's long overdue & "I Hope" is the single off of it so maybe it's a little taste of what to expect. I'll be dropping it VERY soon. This summer, so tune in!!!! - Jammison’s Debut Single “F*ckable” Brings Contagious Dance/ Club Vibes
Jammison is a gifted singer/songwriter from right here in Los Angeles. He’s bringing high energy and club vibes back to the music scene. He claims to “abuse” his right to freedom of expression to present his truth without filters. The first chapter in his repertoire is his debut single “Fuckable" for which he created an alternate version “Touchable” in order to avoid getting flagged on social media. “Fuckable” isn’t a track about what you think it is. Jammison’s deeply emotive lyricism paints a picture and take the listener on a journey through his own experiences with love. The heavy bass and upbeat vibe makes this song a club banger but if you listen to the lyrics it’s much more than that. Jammison wants his listeners to escape and lose themselves to the music. “Fuckable” tells a story of being cheated on, finding that escape through music, and then wanting to find company. “Fuckable” can be taken literally as a seductive and dirty track, or you can choose to see it for the art that it is, innocent and full of self-love and empowerment. We love what Jammison is doing with his music and the movement he advertises. Stay on the lookout! Listen to “Fuckable” here and read more below in our exclusive interview. Hey Jammison! Welcome to BuzzMusic! How did you get started making music? What made you start taking it more seriously? I started making music since I was a child. Growing up, I didn’t really feel like I had anything in common with the other kids, so I was a loner for the most part. Music helped me create another world for me — a perfect utopia. If I could dream it, I could make it real through music. I decided to start taking music more seriously a few years after graduating college. I had done everything my mom and stepdad had wanted me to do. I had a professional job, I had a car, I was living a decent life, but I wasn’t living MY life. I was living to make my family happy and proud, so in a way, I was living for them. When I decided to start living my own life and search for my own happiness, is when I decided to put my dreams and love for music first. Who are your musical influences? How do they help shape you as an artist? I look up to so many artists: Christina Aguilera, Monica Naranjo, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert, José José, Josh Groban, Michael Bublé, Thalia. In a way, they have all been my mentors and music instructors throughout my life, and they don’t even have a clue! In terms of vocal technique, I pay a lot of attention to Monica Naranjo, Michael Bublé, and Josh Groban. When it comes to feeling vulnerable and opening up and not be afraid to express myself, I’d have to thank Xtina and Gaga for that. Britney Spears and Thalia simply make the best BOPS and always take me to my happy place. José José sings my favorite Spanish ballad, “El Triste,” which makes me cry every time I sing it. We love the track “Fuckable”! What do the lyrics mean to you? The lyrics in “Fuckable” narrate my journey and perhaps my coping mechanism after a break up. It’s a very vulnerable place for me. The first verse represents my insecurities, the pre chorus highlights the coping mechanism of working on myself, not being afraid of being rejected by those that don’t find me attractive or can’t connect with me, and the rest is about feeling confident and proud of my sexuality, as well as not filtering my emotions. What inspired this song? What do you hope your listeners take away from it? As I was mentioning earlier, this song was written after a very difficult breakup. Well, perhaps two breakups. I was involved two long-term relationships back to back, and I reached a point where I felt like I had abandoned myself. I didn’t feel attractive. Dealt with liars and cheaters until I became just that. I was perhaps at the lowest point of my life. Fuckable held my hand and my heart through this process, and it helped get out of that dark place. I learned to love myself a bit more thanks to this song. I created an alternate version of the song, which is “Touchable” because “Fuckable” may be too scary for many people. I just don’t like to filter my emotions, especially when it comes to music. I hope the song can help listeners overcome their insecurities. I hope that it can help strengthen their hearts if they’re going through a breakup and make them feel sexy, beautiful, fuckable. It’s okay to cry in the morning, but when you can’t sleep at night, go out and be seen! Throw on some leather and glitter, and no one will be able to see your tears under the strobe light. As an up and coming artist, what challenges have you faced? How do you overcome those challenges? There are so many challenges as an up and coming artist. Some people take advantage, they take your money, then they ghost you. I work hard for to save money for the studio time, music lessons, Artwork, production costs. There was a moment when I was working three jobs. I feel like a lot of the people I’ve worked with don’t believe in me, and that is okay. I believe in myself, and my life experience has taught me that it’s okay if I swim against the tide. I will make it. I Just have to think positively and be resilient — work harder every time. After releasing Fuckable, people that I’ve known for years have blocked me. Oops! However, I am blessed to live in the greatest country on earth where I can sing Fuckable without fear of losing my life. You don’t get that privilege everywhere else. This is just the beginning and there are many areas of myself — perhaps more vulnerable parts — that I haven’t revealed yet. My name is Tonne Desai I'm a singer songwriter living in Nashville TN just trying to chase my dream. How's the music scene in Nashville, particular to your genre of music?! Ah Good question.Nashville is geared towards the country music genres and has always been that way but with artists from all genres moving and visiting Nashville everyday the genre pool has opened up alot and pop especially is starting to make noise and become a factor. "Beggin You Please" was a captivating love ballad! Can you tell us your meaning behind this song? The meaning behide Beggin You Please came from me being at a party and seeing a woman that I just couldn't take my eyes off of and neither could half the guys at the party. Every guy was trying to talk to her but she rejected every single guy. I never actually approached her or talked to her I was too nervous. So Beggin You Please is the conversation that I wished I would have had and somethings I would have said to her . How was the production of "Beggin You Please"? Did you run into any challenges when curating the track? The production was pretty simple and smooth. The only issues I had was making sure it was mixed and mastered perfectly. Took about 5 takes but I finally got a cut I loved. What do you hope your listeners are able to take away from listening to your music? I hope listeners are able to hear just the authenticity and realness of my music. I try to write songs about real situations and real events that I hope others can relate to but also wanna sing at the top of their lungs or dance to at a party or in their car. I want them to really feel like the song is apart of them or a relatable aspect of their life. Keep updated with Tonne via the artists Instagram! #BuzzMusic
- Hard Rock Runs Deeps With Immunity of Fate’s Newest Track “The Forgiven”
Making noise from the Toronto area is Canada, Immunity of Fate is a hard rock metal band with huge guitars, huge drums, and vocals with attitude. Immunity of Fates influences include heavy metal and hard rock legendary bands such as Metallica, Godsmack, Staind, Three Days Grace, Sound Garden, and many more. Fronted by Christian Petersen, Immunity of Fate has worked with Anthony Xander, and Mark Modern of Modified, and is currently in the studio working on brand new material. “The Forgiven” is a pummeling new hard-hitting track laced with elements that Immunity of Fate is best known for. The rhythmic and heavy textures layered with experimental melodies and grooves are what set this track apart in the music industry. Pulling inspiration from their diverse influences, “The Forgiven” bleeds through the speakers with a high energy confidence and intense strength. The chemistry within Immunity of Fate becomes clear when you hear the finely-tuned production quality and precise fusion of musical arrangements. “The Forgiven” is a track that makes the listener become aware of their own behaviour. As the lyricism weaves through storytelling aspects of allowing someone forgiveness, we realize that that doesn’t make someone a better person. “Forgiveness won’t set you free” is the perfect lyric to describe this theme. Just because you’ve been forgiven, doesn’t make you a good person all of a sudden. The emotion and soul behind this track is admirable and leaves us craving more! Stay on the lookout for Immunity of Fate! Check out “The Forgiven” here and read more below in our exclusive interview! Hey Immunity of Fate! Welcome to BuzzMusic! Can you start by introducing yourselves and what role you play in the group? Immunity of Fate formally consists of myself, Christian Petersen. I am the lead singer and guitarist, writer and producer. Although there are not currently any other formal members, I am extremely lucky to have the honour of working with Anthony Xander who wrote and played the monsterous kick ass guitar solo in Wednesday Morning at a Patriots House. I am also extremely lucky to have the honour of working with Mark Modern of the band Modified, who has assisted me in my process of writing drums. There are a couple other people I would like to mention and thank, but I will save that for another time. How did Immunity of Fate come to fruition? What's the meaning behind your stage name? Immunity of Fate is the birth child of love for Stadium Metal. We are seasoned musicians with a similar focus, and we’ve all been friends for many years. Immunity of Fate. The best way to describe the meaning, I think, is if fate is to bring a person to some destination, then fate must also give that person an immunity from things that would stop that person from reaching such a destination. We loved your track “The Forgiven”. Can you dive into more details about the meaning of the lyrics? What do you hope your listeners take away from it? Immunity of Fate. The best way to describe the meaning, I think, is if fate is to bring a person to some destination, then fate must also give that person an immunity from things that would stop that person from reaching such a destination. The Forgiven is about how deep forgiveness really goes. The significance of forgiveness, the impact of it, and the aftermath of it. You can tell someone you forgive them, but if they don’t seek to be forgiven, then what value is there in forgiving them? But if someone does seek forgiveness or even acknowledges that what they’ve done is something that requires forgiveness, if forgiven, then what? From the point of forgiveness, what happens next? Is that it? Does the person change or do they just feel better and stay the same? That’s pretty much what it’s about. What’s your writing process like as a group? I’m very lucky to have total freedom in the writing process. The guys I’m working with have said “Christian, we love what you’re doing so just go with it”, but every step of the way I am bouncing ideas with them and getting their input. I value their input more than they know. It’s like I’m writing, but they are my teachers. I am very thankful for this arrangement, but I actually look forward to having less freedom in the writing process. What’s your stage presence like? As for stage presence, all I can say is I look forward to Immunity of Fate having a stage presence. Before that happens, we have a lot of studio work ahead of us, and decisions to make. When it happens, it is going to be awesome! Make sure to connect with Immunity of Fate via social media! Facebook Twitter #BuzzMusic

Self-made and driven, Alyssa is also a multi-instrumentalist, she writes her own music, plays over a dozen instruments (from guitar to penny whistle to piano) and has extensive knowledge in music recording. Alyssa tours often and averages about 100 shows a year, she’s opened for the likes of Josh Turner, Jana Kramer, Charlie Daniels, Midland, Rodney Atkins, Lee Greenwood, Joe Nichols, Dylan Scott and many more! She enjoys listening to and writing all genres of music, but credits her biggest musical influences as Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift, Maren Morris and Dolly Parton. Alyssa Trahan’s latest single “Vinyl” is an upbeat and light hearted country song reminiscent of the early days of Maren Morris. The expert metaphorical lyricism and groovy swinging melody keeps her fans hooked as Alyssa takes us on a journey through her music. “Vinyl” talks about chivalry, romance and familiar feelings of a vintage love that never goes out of style, just like “Vinyl”. She compares authentic love to the classic and original sound of vinyl through pure guitar riffs, and rhythmic grooves. Alyssa Trahan is a fresh face and all new sound in country music. With her fast growing and dedicated fan base, talent and determination, the sky is truly the limit. Remember the name, Alyssa Trahan, because this is just the beginning. Listen to “Vinyl” here and read more below in our exclusive interview! We love your sound. Can you tell us more about your upbringing into music? How did you get started? I grew up in Rochester, NY, which has a great local music scene, and I was surrounded by music as a kid. My dad was in a band before I was born, so he was always playing guitar around the house. He taught my brother how to play too, so someone was pretty much always playing! My mom and sister played a little piano and flute too. I was in every music group in school as well as all the musicals, and was always “the music kid”. I’ve been writing songs ever since I was little when I didn’t even know what I was doing, I was just making up lyrics and melodies. I asked my dad to teach me how to play guitar when I was 11, I wanted to learn so I could really write songs, and after that it all snowballed. I was asked to be a part of a prominent local musician’s weekly summer show and discovered how much I loved performing my original music, then I played at every bar, restaurant and festival that would have me. I even went to school for music recording and started working in studios and recording my original music. I knew I had to be in Nashville if was serious, so I convinced my parents to go there on a family vacation and that was it, I knew right then and there I would move to that town someday. A few years later, I did, and I’ve never looked back! How do you feed your passion for music everyday? Music is something I need to survive. I need it like I need air. I feed my passion by creating as much as I can. I am constantly writing, producing, performing or just playing around in my recording studio. Your song “Vinyl” is amazing! We love the lyrical metaphors and melody. What inspired this song? Thank you! This song was actually inspired by a Christmas gift I received. My sister got me my first ever record player this last Christmas, and as soon as I opened it, this idea popped in my head of comparing a relationship to a vinyl record. I wrote the song a couple weeks later with my friend, Ashley Scire! What was it like moving to Nashville!? It was terrifying, amazing, and the best decision I ever made! I dreamed about making the move for years and I’ve always known it’s where I’m supposed to be. But, it’s still half way across the country from my hometown and all my family and friends. It was a shock to go from such a small town to a big city, or what I thought was a big city at the time! But right away, I felt like I fit in. I felt like I was with “my people”. People understood me and my nerdy music jokes for the first time, and I wasn’t just the girl that wrote songs anymore. I wasn’t the weird one or the outcast, which is how I always felt growing up. What’s next for Alyssa Trahan? Right now I’m working on a lot of new music! I write pretty much everyday and am constantly striving to create something no one has ever heard before. I’m also playing a ton of shows later this summer, including with Tanya Tucker and Sara Evans, and can’t wait to play all the new music for everyone!

Taylor sings with absolute passion and emotion--it pours off of him so effortlessly as the track continues on! Taylor's tone reminds us heavily of early 2000's R&B/soul, including that type of ambiance the artists in that day and age were able to create with their slow and dramatic production. The music video to "Infatuation" is definitely worth giving a watch--Taylor Pace complements the meaning of the track well with the pace of the video. Taylor Pace, and the type of melody he's able to create with the production, combined with his flowing vocalism, reminds us heavily of early 2000's Usher, and we honestly can't get enough of this familiar sound. Taylor Pace is undoubtedly bringing the BuzzMusic community a retro-like vibe with his track "Infatuation", and we highly recommend this track, and all of TaylorPace's music to the R&B/soul-loving listeners! Can you tell our readers more about how you got started making music? Haha now that's a long story! To keep it short, I've always loved playing music; grew up playing guitar and piano. That made it easier when I picked up on production and I've never looked back since. I actually started out making EDM and trance, but eventually branched out into more genres like Pop and Hip Hop. Who are you musical influences? How do they inspire you ad help craft your sound? Some of my main influences are Mr Carmack, Kanye West and aftertheparty. Always loved the drums and melodies that Mr Carmack and Kanye West use, and I think that the drums in Down For are the most complex element, and the driving force behind the rhythm. aftertheparty got me into singing and if you listen to my first single "Reckless", you can probably hear a little bit of his influence. Can you tell us more about the lyrics in “Down For”? What was the writing process like? Down For started with the bell loop and the drums, and then I just kept humming "tell me what you down for", and so I wrote that down and the rest of the hook came to me fast. I quickly jumped into the booth to lay down the base idea. It was tricky writing my verse down, so that was the last part that was written because I wanted to take the verse into multiple directions and couldn't decide. So I sent the barebones idea to Lil Bird and he wrote his part pretty quickly and sent an mp3 over for feedback. (I actually wanted him to take the second verse spot, but he recorded over the first verse hahaha.) Will there be anymore collaborations with Lil Bird? How did you two decide to make a single together? There might be in the future, but I'm pretty sure he's busy right now, about to start doing live shows. I ran into his song "Truck Stop" on Spotify and I loved his sound. It was professional and he only had a couple thousand followers on Instagram so I figured I'd try and dm him and he replied pretty fast, so we got to talking. What can your listeners expect from your upcoming singles? Something different and unique, we're currently working on a couple projects that we think you'll like. Look out for the newest single in the next couple of weeks! There might be some previews on my Instagram in the next few days too!
