Your EP, "The Pursuit Of It," is a profoundly personal exploration you graciously share with your audience. Please share more about the inspiration behind this project and what you hope listeners will take away from it. Thank you! I'm happy to be talking with you guys today. Though I wasn't writing for anything specific at the time, creating 'The Pursuit Of It' began at the end of 2021 through the start of 2023 around the theme of growth and change (through my 20s, specifically). I wasn't necessarily trying to make a cohesive project; I was just making songs. I soon realized that this idea of forgiving myself and allowing me to accept my growth at face value was crucial for me to get out. When people listen to that, they feel, above all else, like we are meant to mess up, change our minds, decide something isn't meant for us, explore what is, and get back up again. How did you harness your voice to connect with your audience on a deeper emotional level throughout this project, and how has this allowed you to convey your storytelling themes effectively? Honestly, like anything else, the more I do it, the better it feels to me. The more I songwriter and practice the act of vulnerability, the closer I feel to my listeners. I try to remind myself that the more I can invite someone in on what I'm feeling in its most accurate form, the more I can help harness that gap between someone thinking, 'Nobody knows how I feel, and I'm alone' 'Woah, I heard this song randomly, and I feel like it's exactly how I feel.' "The Pursuit Of It" explores mental health awareness and self-discovery themes. Could you share any specific tracks on the EP where you felt a solid connection to these themes and why? Oh boy, 'Flower'. This song took us so long to complete. I'm talking years. My friend, co-writer, and producer on this track, Brett (Truitt), and I started this song on a quiet morning in Nashville. It's just taken on so many lives since that original day/writing session. Looking back at that, I do laugh to myself because this song became the perfect depiction of its own lesson: you can change your mind. Accepting who I am and learning how to better myself has been the healthiest choice for both my self-discovery & mental health. Your upbringing involved being surrounded by Irish and Folk music and growing up alongside your siblings in the entertainment industry. How has this unique background influenced your artistic journey, and what role does family play in your creative process? Aw, I love this question. From day 1, my parents have been like, 'Go do what you're made to do. It'll be hard and hard to pay for, but we believe in you. The older I get, the more I know how rare it is to be supported in your 'pursuit.' So I've tried to relax my shoulders a bit and remember that there isn't any 'proving' to be done here... and my siblings are 100% both the thing that keeps me grounded (lol, they tell me when they are and are not a fan of the song), and the pieces I feel supported by. Although we all grew up in TV/Film, it was evident that I just loved it more than they did from the jump. I'm grateful they both cheered me on in my continuous running towards this and that I can be a fan of all the rad things they're doing. As you split your time between Nashville and LA, both vibrant music hubs, how do these locations influence your songwriting and overall approach to music? Have any specific experiences or collaborations in these cities left a mark on your work? What can we expect to see from you in the future? Splitting time in Nashville, LA, and Europe helps me keep a fresh & creative mind. I love traveling, being alone, and letting my spirit wander because I have such a grounded life at home. I feel that sense of balance at this point in my life. I'm so grateful that my music has taken me to other parts of the world and is growing on its own now; I don't take that lightly. As far as experiences in other places that may have left a mark, I immediately think of The Netherlands. The chance to tour over there last year (and make more music while doing so) led me to record my next project there. In fact, I'm at the airport now, about to board a flight to Amsterdam, where I will be working for the next month. Thank you so much for the chance to talk about 'The Pursuit Of It.' I'm closing one chapter with this release today, and I look forward to allowing in whatever comes next. Instagram

  • Chris Peters’ Debut Album: To Be Loved Is ‘To Be Known’

After three long years, singer-songwriter and pop recording artist Chris Peters released his conceptual and heavily relatable 13-track debut album, To Be Known. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, Chris Peters experienced a transformative journey working on a cruise ship and visiting various countries. That eye-opening experience led to the making of his debut album, To Be Known. Influenced by the light pop style of acts from Paul Simon to Harry Styles, Chris Peters is the new 'boy next door' we can't get enough of, and his debut album illustrates why. The record starts with its first single, released in March of this year, "Drunk On A Memory." This indie-pop banger was written with Tom Siletto and Ethan Surman at Berklee, and it's the perfect intro track to this diverse, ear-pleasing album. With a catchy, relatable hook of feeling caught up in memories but knowing an ex is better left in the past, this intro track blasts through the speakers with pristine vibes and everything we love about feel-good alternative tunes. Moving onto track number two, "Getting To Know Ya," our souls are instantly lifted into a groovy and toe-tapping mix of alternative and funk, pouring through the speakers with impeccable vibes. The soulful horn line paired with Chris Peters' velvety vocals is a treat for the ears, and anyone can get down with such a soulful, passionate atmosphere that wraps around the listener like a warm blanket. In the album's third track, "Europe," we're met with the tender and melodic vocal stylings of Tyler Simmons alongside lush alternative pop instrumentals. With a few European cliches here and there, Chris Peters joins the party while expressing his hope that a lover won't forget him now that she's living her best life overseas. It feels like the perfect track for a feel-good coming-of-age film, oozing through our speakers with energy and passion. Before we know it, an all-too-familiar sound meets the ears with track number four, "Unwritten," blessing the listener with a soulful and groovy rendition of Natasha Bedingfield's classic 2004 hit. Peters felt this was the perfect addition to the record, considering it's a go-to track to perform at gigs. So go ahead, sing along, and belt out the chorus with all you have. The substitution of guitar for soulful keys and a groovy beat makes it irresistible. Upping the emotion is track number five, "What If We Waited," softly opening with gentle acoustic guitar and Chris Peters' smooth vocals. This song tracks the end of a relationship and poor timing, while Peters reflects on what could have been. It tugs on all the heartstrings with relatable lyrics and beautiful horns, while the catchy oohs and aahs leave us singing along. This is one of our favorites on the album thus far, perfectly depicting the post-breakup "what ifs." Here's another Buzz favorite, but for a different reason. The sixth track, "Blue's Clues," surrounds growing up knowing nothing yet navigating life with our best effort. He asks, what happened to his little friend Blue, who would always come through in Saturday morning cartoons? With a soul-soothing and downtempo alternative-pop atmosphere, this reality-check of a song is a perfect anthem for anyone navigating adulthood and its lack of warning signs. Landing on the album's seventh track and halfway point with "Who Knew," we're greeted with tender picking on a nylon string classical guitar that Peters bought in Spain, alongside his spacious, layered vocals. It's a gentle interlude written one late night on the cruise ship, paired with background noises of Peter's time in the Amazon Rainforest. His soft vocals express an intimate moment with someone special, perfectly encompassing his life-changing experience aboard the ship. Moving into the album's second half with the eighth track, "Ode To James," Chris Peters instantly takes us on a tropical getaway with bright vocal arrangements and cheerful instrumentals. While the vibes are high, Peters interestingly wrote his lyrics inspired by Paul McCartney's coping with his wife's passing and the theme of Andrew Peterson's "Alaska Or Burst." It's a unique piece that showcases Peters' songwriting prowess and ability to touch on subjects outside his personal life. The album's ninth track, "Loving and Living, " is upping the groove," soaking the speakers with toe-tapping bass licks and soulful percussion. Influenced by John Mayer's "Moving On and Getting Over," this catchy tune highlights the struggles of living with the one you love, a struggle that many don't have the power to face. It's a well-rounded song from top to bottom, and although Peters highlights the struggles, he passionately acknowledges that working through their issues is the right call. Keeping the good vibes rolling is track number ten, "Juliet," kicking off with a melodic and upbeat alternative instrumental packed with fun melodies and crisp background vocals alongside Chris Peters' honest lyrics. While discussing his slight jealousy for his peers' success at Berklee, Peters tells the viral tale of Juliet and her popular internet videos, always leaving viewers singing along. The slightly eerie ending offers a darker look at the song, cleverly made by turning the pitch wheel on a cassette player. Reaching the album's title track, "To Be Known," this track holds a deep meaning with Chris Peters. Inspired by a conversation that discussed the first moments where one felt 'loved,' Peters wrote this song and named the album after it in hopes that everyone would feel loved and understood after listening. Influenced by the sounds of Paul Simon, this upbeat and passionate title track acknowledges that to be loved is to be known, and Peters hopes that every listener can feel both. Sinking into a more emotional tone is track number twelve, "Too Far Too Fast Too Soon," meeting the speakers with soothing electric guitar melodies and Chris Peters' tender vocals. Written alongside Aida Frantzen and a friend, Daniel, this brutally honest song speaks of Peters' tendency to jump into relationships too fast, only to get burned. The garage indie rock sound perfectly rounds out the emotion and honesty from Chris Peters' relatable words. Reaching the album's thirteenth and final track, "Storybook," we're met with a soothing lullaby melody that gradually leads into a gentle piano melody and Chris Peters' soft vocals. While discussing his frustration with not being on the same page with a partner, the song expands with Adam Dorfman's cinematic strings that make it complete. It's the perfect way to end such an eclectic and relatable album like this, and Chris Peters' powerful lyrics are the cherry on top. If you're looking for your next captivating musical experience, feast your ears on an album that won't let you down. • From The Great White North, IIsaiah Bennet Sits Down To Chat About His Latest Release, "Phases"

Welcome to BuzzMusic, IIsaiah Bennet! We loved "Phases". What an emotional release! We had to ask, what was the inspiration behind it? Were you drawing from personal experience? The inspiration behind "Phases" came from multiple sources: sounds I've wanted to try, vocals and harmonies I've never been comfortable doing beforehand, and songs and genres I've grown accustomed to. I wanted "Phases" to be a song that anyone can relate to and a fun track. It is a record that keeps the pop vibe I'm known for and gives it that alternative hip-hop tone that's been trending for a minute now. What's your favorite part of the creative process when you make music? It would have to be the writing process. The fact that I can just come up with a whole story in minutes (or hours) is sometimes unreal. To sit down and become so vulnerable to a world entirely of strangers about topics that I have experienced or thoughts that I have had and have them, in some way, be relatable or impact one or multiple is truly rewarding. What does music mean to you, and what goals do you want to achieve through your music? Music is my lifeline. Simple as that. It's what I've always wanted to do. My life has always revolved around music. My uncles were DJs, I danced Hip-Hop & Caribbean, played in school bands as percussion, and in a Steel Drum band. I have friends who are DJs at local clubs in my city and other friends who are local artists, videographers, engineers, and producers. Music is always around me, and my passion for this is beyond me. It's more than music to me. It's what keeps the fire in me burning bright and strong. I want to give other artists the same inspiration, and I want my children to love music as much as I do. I want to become a household name and prove to the industry and the rest of the world that I DO belong in this business. Jay-Z once said, "I'm not a businessman; I'm a business, man. What do you want your listeners to feel when they hear your music? I want them to feel the emotions that are in my records. I want them to feel happy and uplifting, and I want them to feel the pain in my voice when applicable. I don't make music to hear my voice. My music is for those who need it. Who wants to be heard without saying anything at all? I'm a voice for people. A voice to those souls that feel like me that think like me, that talk like me. I want them to feel me when they hear me. What's next for IIsaiah Bennet? Can we expect to hear more new music soon, and is there anything you want to say to your fans? Well, I just released a new single on Friday, November 3rd, called "Die For Me," and I have another single dropping on Friday, November 17th, called "Crash My Whip," so you best believe you can expect to hear more music from yours truly very very soon. I have an album dropping sometime in the new year. A date has yet to be determined, as I am a perfectionist, and I want it done correctly and steadily. But more singles in December as well (So no need to worry). I want to add that I'm genuinely grateful for all the fans who continually listen to my music. Growing up in a single-mother household, I had to pave my path at a very young age, living at the bottom of the status quo, but music has given me an outlet to make me feel like I'm destined for something. Like God has a plan for me regardless of my situation. My brand, "FadedVibesForeverr," is a living example of coming from the dirt, and I want to roll up and spark one for the vibes around the world that continually support this prairie boy from the frozen north. • Composer Logan Larson Let’s Us In On His Latest Mastery, “The Monster You Made”

A warm welcome to BuzzMusic Logan Larson. We loved "The Monster You Made," we had to ask! What was the inspiration behind this project? The album and the genre it encompasses started over a decade ago from my love of the classical arts and Electronic Dance Music (EDM). My background in dance tied music and movement together for me. Developing a love for classical composition and EDM in my late teens, I wanted to find a way to combine them into something new. I did three degrees in classical composition to learn everything I could about orchestration, counterpoint, and music theory. Equally, I learned as much as I could about EDM production from various sources. There are things I love about each of these worlds and things I believe are missing. My goal with the genre that is showcased on the album was to fill in the gaps of what I saw needing to improve in any prior fusion music of these two genres. For classical works with electronics, the electronics created the sound world but were always in the background and never got their chance to shine. In EDM works that added classical instruments, I have often felt the instruments were only mimicking parts of the EDM and not supplying anything original. There was no contrapuntal complexity or actual virtuosic passages for the players. My solution to this was the Bass Complexity genre. It's a true 50/50 split of what makes both genres great. Classical music's complexity of contrapuntal lines, orchestration, mode mixture, and church modes combined with the visceral synths and drums of EDM. What was your favorite part of bringing your vision for "The Monster You Made" to life, and do you have a favorite track from the album? My favorite part of this album was working with exceptional musicians to create this music. Additionally, learning about mixing and production greatly benefited my development as an engineer and producer. Some of my favorite tracks are the third movement of We Are The Unbroken, the third movement of Forgotten Faces (Space Bound), Turn My Heart To Stone, and At My Pace. What does music mean to you, and do you have any particularly fond musical memories you'd like to share? Music is my life; it is my everything. One of my favorite musical memories occurred during my live premiere of the four movements of "Forgotten Faces" on the album. The conductor, Dr. Matthew Smith, told the audience about my passion for combining classical music and EDM, and there was audible laughter from a specific part of the auditorium at the notion that someone would attempt to create such music. When the piece finished, the people who had laughed approached me to get my autograph. These people were in their 70s and 80s and commented that as soon as the piece began, they knew they were witnessing something special. My musical goals have always been geared towards inspiring young people, but seeing that my work can translate across generations made this memory truly special. If your listeners could take one thing away from your music, what would you want it to be? Acoustic, classical instruments, and heavy EDM synths can combine, be complex regarding musical lines, and make something unique. What's next for Logan Larson? Can we expect to hear more new music soon, and is there anything you want to say to your fans? I'm going to keep making more bass-complexity music to continue to inspire the younger generation to attend and participate in more classical music events. To my fans, thank you for listening to the album, and I'm looking forward to continuing to make more music for various instrumentations for you all going forward. Instagram Facebook

  • Interview: Repeat Discusses New Self-Titled Album 'Repeat'

Expertly fusing stoner and alternative rock to forge a signature sound that’s served them well and captured hearts everywhere they go, Swedish rock band Repeat has continually managed to stand out. Formed by Torbjörn Hallberg and Johan Holmberg, their refusal to compromise regarding their artistic integrity has kept the overall level of each Repeat release dizzyingly high. For their new, self-titled album, they’ve made it their mission to provide “a short and explosive experience of repetitive aggressive songs,” turbocharging the listener with energy and an elevated vibe. As they gear up for this release, we got to sit down and ask them some questions. One thing’s for sure: as they continue to shoot for the stars, we’ll follow their future closely. Big things are in store, and we can’t wait to see how it will pan out for this talented outfit. Welcome to BUZZ, Repeat! We’re so intrigued by your self-titled album we have to ask! Being able to release a debut album finally is enormous! Why did you pick the name of your debut album to be ‘Repeat,’ and what did you first envision when you got the inspiration behind this release? The idea behind the band, hopefully also reflected on the album, is to provide a short and explosive experience of repetitive, aggressive songs. We prefer short formats and a direct presence. The mix of stoner rock and alternative rock with loud, fuzzy guitars, rumbling bass, and aggressive drums gives its unique progressive style. The lyrics, just like the songs, are often short, and a lot of space is left for the listener to create their imagery. Can you take us through the creative process you have when making a song? What’s your favorite thing about making music? Torbjörn writes the framework, then works out a basis with Johan before meeting all three to finalize the song. Although the music is riff-based, it is also essential to have a hook, rhythmic or melodic, in each song. Some ideas that feel good in the first stage can quickly be discarded when we rehearse if there is a lack of natural flow when playing the song together. There are many best things about making music, but working on a song together when the chemistry is correct and then recording it or playing it in front of an audience is very rewarding. What was your favorite part about bringing the vision for ‘Repeat’ to life in all of its entirety? The good laughs along the way and then, of course, the positive feedback from our fans! What does music mean to you, and what goals do you want to achieve through music? Music means a lot to follow us through life. Music can take us through rough times and is with us when we are having a good time. We want to entertain our listeners, and after hearing Repeat, hopefully, people will feel revitalized! What’s next for ‘Repeat?’ Can we expect to hear more new music soon, and is there anything you’d like to say to your fans? We will be back in the studio at the beginning of next year to record a new album, and we hope we will be playing clubs in Sweden and abroad after that. Instagram Facebook

  • Charlie John Navigates Love And Loss In A New Album, 'Charlie'

Owning stages from LA to New York is award-winning singer-songwriter and versatile recording artist Charlie John with his eclectic 12-track album entitled 'CHARLIE.' A dedicated musician for over 12 years, Charlie John has cliched titles like Best Original Pop Song in the 2016 Ohio Music Awards and the Grand Prize at Songdoor 2016 for "Change Me"—not to mention being approached by The Voice producers for auditions on three separate occasions. Now settled in Covington, KY, Charlie John continues his musical journey with a diverse new album, CHARLIE, spanning acoustic pop and singer-songwriter to pop/rock and dance. "Out of the hundreds of songs I've written over the years, these are the 12 I feel closest to," explains Charlie John on the new record. Without further ado, let's dive in. Here's an anthem anyone can get down with. The album's bright and bold intro track, "Cheer Up," kicks off with upbeat piano chords and striking electric guitars alongside Charlie John's high-energy vocals. As the track expands, he slaps the speakers with relatable lyrics of his distaste for two, quite annoying, words: cheer up. If only it were that simple. Yet, Charlie John keeps the vibes high with immense energy and groovy instrumentals. Upping the emotion in track number two, "All I Know," Charlie John's breathy and warm vocals meet the speakers alongside thick drum arrangements that lead to a powerful, intimate hook. While he expresses his undying (and perhaps unrequited) love for someone, the instrumentals swell into a mighty pop/rock atmosphere, loaded with genuine emotion and desire. It's a killer tune that hits in all the right places. Maintaining the emotion is the third track, "Can You Hear Me?" quickly diving into profound and relatable lyrics of heartbreak and turbulent relationships, feeling an apparent disconnect but yearning to make it right. The song's instrumentals and production are deeply cinematic, crescendoing on the hook for maximum impact, while Charlie John expresses those deep, inner emotions that ache the soul. It's a theatrical and compelling pop song that tugs on every heartstring. In track number four, "Circles," Charlie John takes us down a vibrant, electronic journey with sweet synth melodies and a pulsating kick alongside his expressive vocals. While touching on the back-and-forth, ups and downs of a turbulent relationship, there's a theme of acceptance that lingers. Charlie John's not fond of the games, but as long as that person is by his side, he might come out unscathed. Gracing our speakers is the first feature on the album with "Sun Comes Up (ft. Clara Wilson)." This refreshing pop/dance anthem brightly opens with plucky synths and subtle snaps alongside tender percussion as Charlie John expresses his desire to remember those small, special moments with someone dear; the blissful beat drops and takes us on a sonic vacation. Clara Wilson's velvety vocals are a treat for the ears, and they offer a pristine back-and-forth dynamic to accentuate this passionate story. Landing on the album's sixth track, "The Best Is Yet To Come," we shift into a tender and inspiring ballad to the world. As plucky acoustic guitar melodies and Charlie John's soothing vocals float through the speakers, we're met with chilling piano melodies and an all-encompassing hook that feeds the soul. This mid-way pick-me-up reminds you to stay grounded, keep pushing forward, and do what makes you feel alive. After all, "The Best Is Yet To Come." Reaching the album's second half with track seven, "Over My Head," we instantly hear Ed Sheeran and John Mayer influences through somber acoustic guitar picking and Charlie John's harmonious vocal layering. His intimate and personal lyrics express the freeing, refreshing emotions he feels in someone's presence. It's a tender homage to someone special, past or present, who made him feel on top of the world. Keeping the passion alive is the eighth track, "Hearts Don't Break," softly opening with beautiful piano melodies and Charlie John's chilling vocals. As the downtempo percussion melts through the speakers, we sink further into the ethereal atmosphere while Charlie John wears his heart on his sleeve with honest lyrics that recall the memories and love once shared. Yet, again, there's a theme of acceptance, knowing that moving onward and upward beats the alternative. Hitting play on track number nine, "Sun Comes Up (ft. Clara Wilson)," we're met with another upbeat ballad featuring the angelic vocals of Clara Wilson. While the song opens with soothing piano melodies and tender percussion, Charlie John pleads for a lover to return and rekindle their once-lit flame. Clara Wilson's stunning and powerful vocals round out the song perfectly, offering an engaging dynamic that leaves us hooked on this compelling love story. Another relatable theme strikes the speakers with track number ten, "I Can't," playfully opening with plucky guitars, bright piano melodies, and mid-tempo percussion. Charlie John uses this track to emphasize the post-breakup recovery and realizations that leave him confessing his inability to live without someone's love. Facing demons is challenging, yet Charlie John emphasizes how he never thought he'd be doing it alone. Ready to liftoff? Charlie John's eleventh track, "Break Your Heart," packs all the energy and spirit to take you out of this world. With heavy bass licks and pop/rock instrumentals, the track gradually expands into a scorching atmosphere with crunchy electric guitars and driving drums. At the same time, Charlie John expresses his regret for breaking someone's heart and not being ready to handle all they are. The fiery guitars and anticipation-packed bridge leave us locked in until the last beat. Landing on the album's twelfth and final track, "Take Me Home," Charlie John hits us with a heartfelt tribute to Phil Collins with a cover of his classic hit, "Take Me Home." It's a perfect addition to the album and an epic closer, perfectly encapsulating the hills conquered and peaks reached after a long, tumultuous journey. And Charlie John's powerful vocals exude nothing but passion and confidence, closing the album on an inspiring note. With themes of love, heartbreak, mental health, and finally belonging somewhere, Charlie John's 12-track album CHARLIE is a treat for anyone. Hear it yourself and find the eclectic new album on all digital streaming platforms. Instagram

The song's moody atmosphere and emotive lyricism testify to her talent and depth as an artist. Born and raised in Greensboro, NC, SevvTheArtist's musical journey began at a young age, where she explored the world of soul and jazz, even dabbling with instruments like the saxophone and trombone. Her connection to music's energy led her to R&B, where she made her mark with the 2020 debut EP "Pre-K." Since then, SevvTheArtist has gained recognition with her subsequent releases, earning a spot on R&B radio, TIDAL's Rising R&B playlist, Sirius XM's Heart & Soul, BET Soul, and Music Choice R&B Soul. With a growing fan base and a promise of more music to come, SevvTheArtist is poised to make a lasting impact on the R&B genre and culture. "BLU" is the perfect introduction to SevvTheArtist's unique talent. The song's slow-jam vibes, driven by a solid foundation of drums and bass, take you on a ride through emotional uncertainty in a tumultuous relationship. The lyrics mirror this rollercoaster, shifting from passionate engagement to cold indifference about the consequences of infidelity. Through it all, SevvTheArtist maintains a perfect balance of relaxed confidence and warm allure. The accompanying music video for "BLU" adds another layer of artistry to the experience. Directed by IAMDZHN and J. Inez, it immerses you in a world of house parties and strip clubs, providing a glimpse into SevvTheArtist "blue heart." The video masterfully intertwines layers of temptation, lust, and infidelity, serving as a visual representation of the song's theme. "BLU" is a guilty pleasure for the senses, a hypnotic and compelling journey that reminds us that R&B, when done right, can be the perfect soundtrack to our deepest emotions and desires. Don't resist; give yourself to the seductive embrace of "BLU." Welcome to BuzzMusic, SevvTheArtist! We love the imagery you paint within your new single, "BLU." Can you tell us more about the creative process behind crafting this atmospheric vibe and how it complements the lyrical themes of emotional uncertainty? Thank you! Happy to be here. I'd say real-life experiences, past relationships, and their complexities. "BLU" was inspired by infidelity and exploring the theme of curiosity and self-discovery in the LGBTQ+ communities. It compliments emotional uncertainty by expressing doubt and insecurity to connect with listeners who have faced similar experiences. Your velvety and encapsulating vocals perfectly capture the emotions in "BLU." How do you infuse your personal experiences and feelings into your vocal performance, especially when dealing with complex themes like rocky relationships? It comes naturally. I'm emotional, and I wear my heart on my sleeve. My vocal performance reflects genuine emotions based on those experiences. From soul and jazz to R&B, how have these musical influences shaped your unique sound, and what do you think sets your approach to R&B apart from others in the genre? Expression and delivery. The themes of the music have shaped my sound... love, relationships, heartbreak. It's the blending of all those influences that led to the creation of my sound. My tone sets me apart from other artists in the genre. It's both personal and distinctive; I don't sound like anyone else but myself. "BLU" explores the consequences of infidelity and emotional turmoil in a relationship. Can you share more about the inspiration behind this narrative and the message you hope to convey through the song's lyrics? For some reason, I've always entertained flirtatious heterosexual women who were "curious" about dating other women. The inspiration is based on real experiences I've observed dealing with a woman who had a man at home. I'm posing the question, "Tell me if you want it? All types of blue," related to the consequences of infidelity and emotional turmoil at home. The message conveys the difficulty in temptation and lust for the curious person and the one getting betrayed. What's next for you? I continue to build my sound, catalog, and image before my debut album. Look forward to new music, and all things, SevvTheArtist. Instagram Twitter
