Rosado, it’s such a pleasure to be featuring your music to our BuzzMusic community! How did you get originally started in the music industry? Was there a specific event/person in your life that made you get into music/ start recording your material? I’ve been surrounded by music my entire life. My grandmother is one of the former lady of the Supremes, she helped inspire my passion. I’ve been writing songs since I was 12 and recorded my first song at 14. In high school, there were a few friends of mine that were recording as well. We all worked together on music and eventually put on our own show. We immediately found that "Element" captured an alluring melody with hypnotizing vocals! It's what caught, and ultimately kept our attention! What was the overall mood you wanted to set for listeners in this particular track? Well, I feel like the music business is oversaturated with too many people sounding the same. I’ve always been in my own lane. When recording Element, I knew from the production I needed a catchy melody but more importantly to set the tone and to help visualize what you feel when listening. It’s uplifting, euphoric, and full of vibes. It will definitely put you in your element. How did the songwriting and recording process execute for "Element? Did you fall into any creative slumps while initially writing the track, or does the curation process flow naturally for you? I never try to force anything when creating, I want it to all be authentic. I don’t write lyrics with a pen and paper anymore. I come up with a melody when first recording, to create a tone and mood. Once I have a melody I can vibe out to, I just let my creativity flow naturally. Tell our readers more about your definitive aspirations as an artist! What would you say is the ultimate goal, artistic wise? I am going to inspire the world. My talent and passion is all from God. He uses me to help communicate to people worldwide. I want my music to touch people and help inspire. You’ll get the real me every time with every song. Thanks for sharing your recent music here on BuzzMusic! A pleasure to have you here J. Rosado! Any parting words for the BuzzMusic readers?! Thank you for the opportunity, I appreciate your time. My Ep “Euphoria” is out everywhere on all platforms and the video Track 3 “Billion” on YouTube. Track 4, Element, featuring Sy Ari Da Kid. Every song a different expression of euphoria. More music on the way, follow me on social media @realjrosado to stay updated on shows, new music and tours! • Los Angeles Native And Gifted Songstress Tiffany Madadian Stuns With New Single “Can’t Stay”

Tiffany Madadian is a singer/songwriter and Los Angeles native who has been writing and recording her music since she was sixteen years old. At eighteen with a demo under her belt, she hit the Los Angeles club circuit jumping directly from impressive time slots to headlining slots at some of LA’s most famous and notorious clubs such as The Whisky A Go-Go, The Roxy and The House of Blues. With her catchy pop-rock melodies and powerful vocals, she has garnered attention to her shows and built a following the old fashion way. With an EP and a slew of singles out now, Tiffany’s latest and greatest release to date titled “Can’t Stay” is out now, with a brand new music video to match. Irresistible and drenched in 80’s nostalgia ”Can’t Stay” is an infectious new single. The squashy synths, electric guitars and drum machine samples are mixed sympathetically for a modern audience, cleverly using guitars, synths, and vocals to uphold current expectations while nodding unashamedly towards arrangements from 30+ years ago. Writing from the heart on the topic of the ups and downs of love, Tiffany introduces herself as an honest and passionate singer and songwriter. There’s a depth to her vocal presentation that seems quite rare lately. During that rising melodic moment that is the pre-chorus, you’re given a vintage, eighties-style instance of reflection and variation pushing that creative edge even further. I highly recommend you listen to “Can’t Stay” and stay tuned for more with Tiffany. Check out “Can’t Stay” here and read more with Tiffany Madadian in our interview below! Hey Tiffany! Tell us all about your track “Can’t Stay”!? What inspired it? “Can’t Stay was written a few years ago about a short-lived relationship I had with a great guy who I just wasn’t that into. There was nothing at all I could think of that was wrong with this person or that I would change about him but for some reason, I felt nothing more than friendship for him and I felt horrible! It was even more confusing for me because before we went out I had a huge crush on him, but it was one of those things that changed immediately when I got to know him. He really tried to win my love and I eventually had to end it because I couldn’t lead him on and my feelings weren’t matching his. Around the same time my guitar player sent me two demos of ideas, he was working on and one of them ended up being “Can’t Stay”. It was one of those songs that immediately came to me when I heard this very raw musical idea over my cell phone speaker. The song just wrote itself. I recorded the melody in my phone voice memos I think the second time I listened to it all the way through. What’s the concept behind the music video? What was the filming process like for you? The concept of the video was to shoot in front of beautiful imagery portraying love and heartbreak and sadness and all these things intertwined. I saw this persons work on Instagram who made lyric videos and he made a visual video for me that I wanted to be the backdrop of our actual video. We then shot the music video with his visuals plastered on a warehouse wall in Glendale, Cali. Filming the video was so much fun, but we definitely hit bad luck up until minutes before filming! Basically everything that could go wrong did go wrong and we even made a trip to Best Buy for a VERY important piece of our music video puzzle about 9 minutes before Best Buy closed! But with all that being said, when we actually started rolling it went so smoothly and I had such an amazing time. I had a wonderfully kind leading man in the video who made me very comfortable as well so I enjoyed it even through the disasters! If someone only has time to check out one song from your collection, which would you recommend and why? I would recommend either “Can’t Stay” or a song called “Stockholm Syndrome”. Both are upbeat love (ish) songs and “Stockholm” is one of the first songs that my guitar player and I wrote and produced together and I feel like we really captured what we wanted our sound to be with that song. It’s everything I strive for in music... it’s catchy, the lyrics are honest and raw and I love the production. What do you think sets you apart from mainstream music today? I don’t see a lot of pop/ rock in mainstream music today so I think that immediately sets me apart. So many artists are killing it in their genres and many of them have pop influence or rock influence but I don’t see much if any that are rock n roll infused pop and that’s something that I love more than anything. My music has always had and will always be guitar driven and whether we produce based on our mood or what the song requires, there’s always a rock n roll undertone to my songs and that’s very important to me. That’s my foundation and that’s what I grew up listening to so it’s a constant in all of my songs. What do you hope to achieve through the remainder of 2019? I’d love to expose my music to more ears. The internet is a place I haven’t yet taken full advantage of and I admit I’m a low tech, old school girl, if I could hand out mix CDs I would, but I’m coming around and hoping to get more music out into the world through the internet this year and I’m hoping the music video will help that as well. • NEW MUSIC: Crawford Makes Stunning Debut “Red Wine”

Blending the charming qualities of indie with a well-established soulful vocal and pop sensibility, Crawford is a brand new artist hailing from the small town of Toledo, Washington. Influenced by the 1960s and 70s soul and R&B, he blends more contemporary elements to create a refreshing modern-day sound. Inspired by artists such as Michael Jackson, Sam Smith, Daniel Caesar, Emily King, Allen Stone, Mac Ayres and many more, Crawford makes his debut on the music scene with “Red Wine” in preparation for his debut EP, stay tuned for more! We checked out Crawford’s new single “Red Wine” and we were blown away from his stunning vocal ability and heartfelt songwriting. Beginning with a gorgeous soundscape and Crawford’s stunning vocals, “Red Wine” doesn’t take long to evolve into a bone-chilling, heartfelt anthem. You can hear that Crawford has poured his heart and soul into this release. Although the track is more somber than some of the mainstream anthems of today, we’re still blessed with the upbeat bounce of a backing track to bring the energy. I’d love to hear “Red Wine” in an intimate live setting to truly showcase Crawford’s charisma and sheer vocal power. Well worth a listen! Check out “Red Wine” here and read more with Crawford below! Hey Crawford! Do you believe that the way you intend to communicate your messages through your music is easily received by your listeners? I think so! I try to write based off of real situations that happen in my life and I think that can be something that people, especially around my age, can relate to. In a nutshell, Red Wine is about being lonely, drinking wine, and basically confessing your love to someone even though you know the relationship won't work out. I think that can be relatable to lots of people on many different levels. “Red Wine" was an incredibly versatile and beautiful track. Where did you draw the inspiration to create this particular type of sound? My producer, Katsuya Sezaki, and I thought about the way we wanted this song produced a lot. We really took our time with it and I came to him wanting to find a balance between an organic live sound, and a fully produced track you'd hear on the radio today. We recorded my some of my band with instruments and did some electronic. A lot of the inspiration from this track comes from Emily King. She is a huge influence for me I think her music finds that organic/electronic balance beautifully. Emily's music also has a lot of small hidden details in her songs so for Red Wine we tried to add a lot of experimental sounds and parts that are subtle and weaved in perfectly that I think adds some magic to it. How would you say that "Red Wine" compares to the kind of music you curated when you first started out as an artist? I definitely think my music is way different than when I first started. I have grown so much as a vocalist, writer, and performer in the last couple of years. It was definitely a journey of trying different things and ideas until I figured out what I really wanted. But even though I definitely feel more secure in who I am as an artist and the music I'm making today, I also feel like in two years I could be making something totally different than I am now. I like change and experimenting with new things so I think that I will always be evolving in that way as an artist. Do you prefer the more intimate recording process over live performance? How do you personally feel when you're performing your music live? There is nothing better than playing a live show. First of all, my band is made up of some amazing musicians and they are a HUGE part of my growth and where I am today with my music. A lot of my credit goes to them and I feel like "Crawford" is more so a collective of us as a band rather than me as a solo artist. I feel like performing live gives you so much more room to experiment and take risks and in split seconds and sometimes it can create some really incredible moments that will last forever. There have been times where I have out of body experiences and I just let the music take over. At the end of the day music for me is 100% feeling and emotion and there's no better feeling than sharing that with other people and have them feel it through you. It was awesome to be able to present "Red Wine" here on BuzzMusic! What do you think is next for you as an artist? Where do you hope to progress within the next couple of years?! Thank you so much for sharing! I feel honored! I'm so excited for the future and have lots of things I want to do. The next step for us is to keep releasing music and playing shows and hopefully, by a couple of years from now we will have an album out and will be touring! This is only the beginning! • RALPHY Brings Dark-Pop 80’s New Wave Mood With “Can’t Sleep”

RALPHY is a spectacular independent pop singer/songwriter from Australia. For the past few years she’s been making her name known out of Los Angeles. She’s had a passion for music from childhood, starting dance at only 3 years old. That when her spark for performing was ignited. Growing up, RALPHY was always inspired by the arts and music and he first tries at songwriting were writing poetry and journals. Now an established young artist, RALPHY is known for her stunning choreography, emotional lyricism, and sultry vocals. RALPHY captures the true meaning of performance, elevating her audience into a beautiful space of love, freedom, and expression. RALPHY’s newest single “Can’t Sleep” changes things up from her usual indie-pop sound. The track brings a darker vibrancy with its moody, ‘80s new wave feel. The first thing you notice about “Can’t Sleep” is the slick production that seems effortlessly contemporary and yet references the 70s and 80s with the coolest of nods. The vocals add depth and intelligence to a song bursting at the seams with ideas, warmth and real soul. Passion and vulnerability are competing for the listener’s attention, and then RALPHY’s voice is layered up to spectacular effect where harmonies are piled atop one another to emphasize, comfort and enhance the journey. “Can’t Sleep” showcases RALPHY’s grown-up pop with an electro heart, driving the rhythm and enough raw emotional connection to melt the most cynical of hearts. Check out “Can’t Sleep” here and stay tuned for the new music video, coming later this month! Hey RALPHY! Great to have you here on BuzzMusic. Any words you'd like to share with our readers about the way you articulate your music? How is “Can’t Sleep” different from your previous singles? Hey Buzz Music, I try not to overthink things too much, my songs are usually written about past experiences or something I’m feeling at the time. Usually starting with the beat first, working with my producer to get a sound that I’d be excited to perform to I get so excited when I think I’m onto that great sound, there is no exact structure to my work. Can’t Sleep has a darker vibe than my usual work, I love this and I’m so looking forward to performing it live,  I have another song lunar that is also of that dark vibe and it’s fun to perform. “Can’t Sleep" obviously had a powerful and captivating soundscape but are you able to dive deeper into the honest meaning of the track? I don’t like to give the complete meaning away of a song,  I feel it’s fun for fans or listeners to come up with their own interpretation. I can say Can’t Sleep is about having an affair but not necessarily with a person just doing something sinful and you know is wrong but can’t stop and can’t sleep you are just hooked In your years of performing, what has been your most memorable moment or achievement in your career? Since arriving in LA I have performed at many venues some of the notable is the  Viper Room and the House of Blues tonight I’m performing at Hotel Cafe tonight!!!. I had heard of these places back in Australia and dreamed of one day performing in such venues so to me to perform were some of my favorite artists have performed is a wonderful achievement and exciting for a girl from a small country town in Australia. How do you personally feel about live performance? Would you say that you prefer the live performance aspect of music more over the writing/recording process? Live performance is the most exhilarating fun thing for me it’s my happy place, the love of performing is what got me into music and songwriting in the first place. I love all aspects of getting towards the night I perform, the costume making, working out the choreography, the setlist it’s all hard work but fun and on the night it’s all worthwhile. I enjoy the writing process but it’s all directed at performing and I’m so excited when I think we’ve nailed it. It was amazing showcasing "Can’t Sleep" to our listeners, and getting to know you as an artist in the process! What is the official release date for the upcoming music video? What can you tell us about it? Can’t Sleep is a huge track my favorite so far with its huge cinematic sound the producer created and strong vocals, the moodiness, and storyline make for a fantastic and thrilling video clip which we were so enthusiastic and excited to create. The music video has spooky dark sexy vibe, not sure of the exact date of release but hopefully be out for Halloween Matthieu McReina the creative director and myself have been working so hard on this and we can’t wait to share.  So keep an eye out for release date on all my social media pages. www.instagram.com/ralphymusic www.facebook.com/RALPHYmusic #BuzzMusic

Welcome to BuzzMusic Tyler! "The Journey!" is your latest release and we’re hooked! How did the production go for the track? Hey! Thank you so much. It is crazy to work on a piece of art for so long and then have it be out into the world. I love being a solo artist and being able to manifest moments from my mind into wavelengths. Everything within my songs is written, performed, recorded, produced, mixed and master by me. All of my music is mainly recorded in 'Fort Knox,' my home recording studio, but recently I have been tracking in the studio at the University of Bridgeport and in my dorm room. I find producing music in places you have a connection to comes through within the tracks themselves. Your sound is so developed and confident, how long have you been making music? What pushed you to start? That is one of the best things about creating. You can see and hear development and maturity within it. I released my first solo project in "Demos... Songs With a Meaning" 2015 when I was just 16, so to have that cemented in time and to go back and listen to it is like going through old photo albums of your childhood with your ears. I have been playing guitar since I was 4 years old. My family tells stories of me being in the grocery store and yelling out loud every instrument I heard on the radio as they pushed me through the store. I feel like I wasn't pushed to start music, it just always needed to come out of me. I believe there are so many restrictions words place on feelings that music is the only way to wholeheartedly express to people. Can you try and explain the connection you feel that you have with your music? How do you project this connection through your music, to your listeners? The biggest thing I think I have discovered is that when you are truly creating you should be doing it for yourself, not for anyone else. If you are trying to write a catchy song for people to dance to or one people will sing along to, you are doing it wrong. Art should be an extension of yourself, and if people connect to it then it makes the experience even more meaningful, but you are the one who has to initially make that meaning. Songs, for me, are sonic encapsulations of things that I have had to process from my life or those that surround it. I try and include indirect messages to listeners, not only through my sometimes cryptically poetic lyrics, but through the harmonic structures and chord progressions themselves. No one will every pick up every little Easter egg I throw into my projects, or what the songs mean to me, even if I explain it. Like I touched on previously, music picks up where words leave off. The true power of music is that no matter what, each and every person who listens to a song will take away something different. We know that "The Journey" has an impactful meaning behind the lyrics. Can you explain to our readers the meaning behind the song? What inspired it? With my new EP "Exit 26" I really wanted to dive deep into the true value of family, writing each song for and with someone who has a special spot in my heart. There are people in your life that shape you, and I wanted to take the lessons they have taught me and the guidance I have been given and shape that into songs that now have a special spot in my discography. The last track on the EP, 'The Journey' kind of sums all of that up. One of the biggest people in my life has always been my grandmother. We have the strongest bond and she is the one who taught me the invaluable lesson that "life is all about the journey," and that is what this song represents. Lines like "sometimes you don't know what your life is meant to be" are direct thoughts from my brain recently. We never truly know what we are here for or our purpose until we have that indescribable moment. That indescribable moment for me was sitting with my girlfriend and the rest of my family, talking, laughing, and all just being ourselves. That moment when everything seems to click into place. You can hear it all click into place in the song during the guitar solo. To describe that indescribable moment, I used a guitar. I hope people can listen to this song, and this EP, and use it as the soundtrack for them finding that moment and realizing what makes them truly happy and gives them purpose. For me, that is family and music. Thanks so much for giving us this interview! Can we expect to see any upcoming releases or shows from you throughout the rest of 2019?! I am always creating music. It feels unhealthy if I go to long without laying down a guitar part or a drum beat. I released a cover of Joni Mitchell's "Big Yellow Taxi" on my Bandcamp a few weeks back (bit.ly/BYTcover), but I am going to spend the rest of the year in the studio working on all my projects for next year so... 2020 is going to be a big one! Thank you for your time and I hope whoever is reading this smiles at a stranger today. • "Tug Of War” By The Mos Capri Experiment Combines Heavy Subject Matter And Blissful Soundscapes”

Hailing from Scotland’s capital, The Mos Capri Experiment’s debut single “Tug Of War” was produced by British Ivor Novello Award two-time winner and Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer Sacha Skarbek (Miley Cyrus / James Blunt). Throughout “Tug Of War”, Mos’ voice meanders uniquely, switching from spacious and short lines to a quicker pace that’s equally gentle in delivery as the song’s structure makes itself known. That classic vibe stands tall, giving the song something of a vintage, slept-on feel that lights up memories of a simpler time. In the same instance, the vocals are categorically something of their own. “Tug Of War” focuses on the ongoing struggle some people have with mental illness. The lyrics and sentiments throughout the track are about getting lost in a self-destructive state, allowing fear of the unknown to take hold rather than dealing with problems head-on. The Mos Capri Experiment can relate to this life struggle extremely well and has crafted a track that will likely be accessible by the masses. The Mos Capri Experiment has a sound that is undeniably hers, and the way she floats through the stages of the track, with softness yet intention, is beautifully captivating; and genuinely refreshing amidst today’s musical landscape. Absolutely an artist worth knowing about! Listen to “Tug Of War” here and follow The Mos Capri Experiment on Instagram! #BuzzMusic

  • Funky New Track “Ambrosia” By M.A.R.X. Will Get You up And Dancing

"Ambrosia” is a funky new genre-bending single by M.A.R.X. He flawlessly blends old school funk with contemporary big band pop and soulful, passionate vocals. The melody and rhythm has us instantly addicted to this catchy new single. “Ambrosia” is a motivational anthem that sets M.A.R.X apart in the music industry in a big way. He lets the listener see his inner thoughts and feelings from a new perspective. It’s admirable for an artist to be able to let his listeners connect with him on a personal level. I think “Ambrosia” is a track that everyone can vibe and relate to. I highly recommend you check it out and stay on the lookout for M.A.R.X and his future musical endeavors. M.A.R.X. is an eclectic artist hailing from El Salvador. Born into a musical family, M.A.R.X had a childhood full of various genres of music. A gifted musician, he began playing piano at the age of four and was introduced to classical music at the early age of 9. M.A.R.X has had more than a decade of musical experience and has quite an impressive repertoire under his belt. “Ambrosia” serves as the first single from his upcoming album! Listen to “Ambrosia” here and read more with M.A.R.X.! M.A.R.X! Welcome back to BuzzMusic! What inspired you to first begin making solo music and releasing it to the public? Thank you BuzzMusic, great being here. Wanting to express how I hear music in my mind and sharing that with the world. I always wanted to share my take on music, my specific style of composing and arranging. Sharing it as a solo artist is what gave me the space to do that. You seem to be an artist that puts more thought into his lyrics than most. What can you tell us about the lyrical depth within “Ambrosia”? So for this song I had the pleasure of working with a songwriter named Areli Castro. She's responsible for this one. It's very rare for me to let people into my creative process but she brought a different element to the song with her lyrics. She was able to express what I wanted the song to be. It took the song to another level. I feel it was the right call artistically for Ambrosia. Since you’ve been making music for several years, how would you compare some of the earlier material you’ve written to your newest release “Ambrosia”? Ambrosia is the first finished take on a sound I've been working on for years. What I had been experimenting with in past songs all evolved into this sound. I would say Ambrosia is me finding myself in my music. And in past songs, I was still searching. In all your years of making music, what has been the achievement you are most proud of thus far? When I was 14 me and my father started a band that was just made up of kids. Me and my siblings, my cousins and a couple of other kids. I directed the band and Co-produced the songs we made with my father. We took the band all over El Salvador and got to perform huge stages and play TV events viewed by millions At that time I feel we inspired a lot of kids to get into music and follow what they were passionate about. It was a great time, and I'm really proud of what we accomplished. I look to keep inspiring people through my art. We really appreciate you chatting with us about your incredible music! What’s next for you artistically? Does your creativity manifest itself in other ways? More immediately is the release of the music video for Ambrosia. Which is coming next month And after that is the album I'm currently working on which will be released next year. Ambrosia is the first single off the album. the second single is coming out early next year. It does. I'm also a dancer. I have a lot of passion for dance and I dedicate a lot of energy to that side of my life. It's great that it's also part of what I do in my live shows. • Osvy Torres Makes Captivating Solo Debut With "Quédate"

Osvy Torres is an experienced artist who has made his name known across Peurto Rico performing with various bands. Now a soo act, he aims to win the hearts of Puerto Ricans and listeners around the globe with his captivating vocals and honest songwriting. His single ''Quédate'' is out now and available on all major streaming platforms! Even with its modern-day energy that seems to fit well with the mainstream sound of today, Osvy Torres’ "Quédate" firmly introduces the talented singer/songwriter as a unique act that undoubtedly has his original approach to music, and it works. ''Quédate'' is a spacious and fairly dreamlike Latin-pop track, minimalist to an extent, but what’s there has been thoughtfully and colorfully incorporated to drive that rhythm and melody through with memorable strength. It’s a hit within itself, easy to vibe to or escape among and that’s before you even get to the hook. ''Quédate'' offers a pretty striking hook, nostalgic in many ways and reminiscent of a simpler time, again offering the crisp and satisfying production style of today. Osvy Torres showcases his own gentle yet passionate and confident performance styles. In addition to how enjoyable and impressive all of this is, that hook effectively seals the deal in making the song stand tall in its own right. Although it’s in Spanish, the verses hold tight to your attention, the delivery is smooth and hypnotic, beautiful to listen to, and the words have such poignancy. When the hook comes alive, the drop here is not overly intense but still, it hits with impact. Well worth a listen or two at volume! Check out ''Quédate'' here and read more with Osvy Torres below! How did you get originally started in the music industry? I started as a guitarist playing for multiple cover bands in the south and southwestern part of Puerto Rico, gaining my first recording, touring, and sponsorship experiences playing with a defunct band that went by the name of Los Chenchos. With them, I opened and co-headlined shows for recognized Puerto Rican bands such as Vivanativa, Zorro Viejo, and Algarete. I left that band on 2012 to pursue more ambitious goals, more in line with who I became as a person, and musician. This got me into playing guitar for more established artists such as Mary Ann Acevedo, NAIZ, Luis Montes from MDO, Kefas, and others. In December 2013, I decided to start my music career as a singer in hopes of someday becoming an established singer/songwriter. Now we’re here! Was there a specific event/person in your life that made you get into music/ start recording your material? My maternal grandmother Eldie, her sister Elba and my grandpa Pimpo were the ones that believed and supported me from the start! My music passion started when I was 12 years old. I listened to the Linkin Park Meteora song ‘’Somewhere I Belong’’ and I was just mesmerized by the clean guitar riff and the powerful distorted electric guitar tone! I had finally found something that really made me feel alive. I got a classic guitar that birthday, but I decided to invest all the money received into purchasing my first electric guitar. It wasn’t until Christmas Day until I finally got my first guitar amp, so imagine rocking out without hearing any distorted tones! Years went by and my musical taste expanded to all kinds of rock music. By 2006, I had already written my first songs on English & Spanish. I always hoped someday my songs could be recorded by somebody, but never got the chance until I finally did it myself. We immediately found that ''Quédate'' captured an alluring melody with hypnotizing vocals! It's what caught, and ultimately kept our attention! What was the overall mood you wanted to set for listeners in this particular track? Thank you! That’s a huge honor for me! The song ‘’Quédate’’ represents a dark moment in my love life in which I wanted a certain person to stay in my life, thus the name ‘’Quédate’’ meaning stay. What I had in mind mainly in demos and for an official music video was a one on one couple conversation in a dark hotel room. If you analyze the letters you will notice that I am asking someone to stay a few more minutes, then ask the same person to let hours go by because meeting again is sure to be uncertain. The song production is always on a crescendo with the intention that the listeners feel certain tension and emotions like frustration, sadness, desire, lust, and many others felt in this context. There’s a line that says ‘’quédate conmigo como novios o amigos’’, that’s meant to be an indicator that lovers or friends labels don’t matter if you love, lust or desire someone in your life. That line is followed by a third pre-chorus line that says ‘’si quieres quédate’’ meaning that if that person wants to stay, it’s her or his decision, not mine or ours to make. The bridge breaks the ‘’Quédate’’ structure by being more direct with that person by telling him or her that time is passing, that time doesn’t forgive, that time shouldn’t be wasted time, and they should make love. The song ends with the last chorus meant to be more like ‘’Quédate’’ screams. The song fits many situations for men and women alike, that’s why I’m having a unisex approach promoting it now and believe me, I wrote the song for certain situations, and I’m now living a different one where it fits perfectly! The listeners will fabricate a story for the song in their minds depending on what they’re living! That’s the magic of songs! How did the songwriting and recording process execute for ''Quédate''? Did you fall into any creative slumps while initially writing the track, or does the curation process flow naturally for you? Early lyrics drafts of ‘’Quédate’’ are very similar to the final lyrics. Not much had to be done in that department, neither on the musical structure. The chords and lyrics are how they were meant to be since writing it back on April 2012, but production was needed to present it as it was meant to be. I can only sing, write lyrics, and play the guitar. I need people to play drums, bass, keyboards, and other things for me. That’s what I love of working with producer George de León Jr. He was the person that finally agreed to record all instruments, my vocals, mix the tracks and make my dream a reality. He created the musical track after I showed him three versions of the song: an electric version of the song played back in 2016, a solo acoustic home recording, and a voice/guitar + cajón performance played in a music store. He respected my song structure all the time, and I really appreciated that. Other producers wanted to chop my song and turn it into another thing! George de León Jr. made my musical vision come true while adding a lead guitar and making some slight changes to turn it into the song it’s today! But recording this track wasn’t easy at all! I severely injured my vocal cords back in late 2018 / early 2019, and recovery wasn’t friendly to me. Treatment was slow and ineffective making the return of a promising rising artist from Puerto Rico uncertain. I really thought I lost my voice forever, but after going to another doctor, I improved that little bit needed to record this track and get me back into live performing. Tell our readers more about your definitive aspirations as an artist! What would you say is the ultimate goal, artistic wise? I want to become one of the most important Latin pop-rock singers and songwriters of the next decade, proof that love songs are still relevant in our society and that underdogs dreams can become a reality, no matter our age or the obstacles we need to overcome. Recording and releasing more singles are short-term goals, but I want to record a full LP. That would open the doors to more opportunities worldwide and would let me show my true artistical diversity as a musician, a singer, and a songwriter! If I become established someday, I would love to collaborate with Black Guayaba, Maná, Marco Antonio Solís, Roberto Carlos, Marc Anthony, Ricky Martin, and others I admire! • King Midas Speaks His Truth With “James Bond”

Hailing from Montreal, Canada, King Midas is an eclectic rap artist who has been establishing her craft since he discovered hip-hop at ten years old. King Midas began freestyling at 16 years old but didn’t try his hand at writing until a year later. At 19, King Midas took a break from music and it wasn’t until 2016 that he picked up his pen again. His debut album “Called Kross” was released in 2018 and King Midas has been unstoppable since. King Midas’ latest banger is old school hip-hop inspired track titled “James Bond” (produced by DJ Radiohead). This track blends a smooth melody with a modern twist. “James Bond” starts off well and continues to build in a refreshing way throughout. There are moments of varied melody, beat refrain, and rap, that help create something structurally intentional yet still always rhythmically entrancing and connected enough to envelop the listener. There’s a mild intensity to his vocal style and delivery, suggesting that King Midas means what he says. Worthy production meets with subtle creativity and a clear understanding of today’s hip hop landscape within “James Bond”. A truly impressive track from a bright up and coming artist! Give “James Bond” a listen here and read more with King Midas in our exclusive interview below! Hey King Midas! Welcome to BuzzMusic! What inspired you to first begin making music and releasing it to the public? When I got back into Rap in 2016 i wasn't sure if i was gonna be any good anymore because up until that point it had been 5 years since I last wrote a rhyme or a song so when i recorded what i recorded i ended up liking it and at that point i realized that i was talented so it just made me want to continue and share it with social media. You seem to be an artist that puts more thought into his lyrics than most. What can you tell us about the lyrical depth within “James Bond? I've Always been a thoughtful person as well as Creative. As far as lyricism is Concerned i take pride in it because im in love with poetry to make words rhyme and at the same time still make sense and convey a certain message whether positive or negative is just a beautiful concept to me. Also, My favorite is Nas and in my opinion, he's the greatest lyricist to ever pick up a microphone. Since you’ve been making music for several years, how would you compare some of the earlier material you’ve written to your newest release “James Bond"? To Compare it i Would say that my earlier Work like the Kross album is the old me and my newer work like the James bond track is the new me not content-wise but Progressive wise i feel like I've progressed and got better with the rhyme patterns and the flow. We’ve also been bumping your album “Called Kross”! Congratulations on that. What have been some of your proudest or most memorable moments in music so far? I haven't had many yet but one would be when I opened up for lecypher 2 months ago at the bootlegger l'authentique in Montreal. We really appreciate you chatting with us about your incredible music! What’s next for you artistically? Does your creativity manifest itself in other ways? I'm Working On my Second Album M.I.D.A.S and as far as my Creativity is Concerned as i said I've always been a creative person I actually have a couple of storylines that I have yet to write Screenplays out of.
