  • Evi Vine Releases New Song "SABBATH" Featuring Simon Gallup Along With Cinematic Music Video

A powerful teaser for their new album 'Black Light White Dark', due out in early 2019, London's ethereal alt-rock outfit Evi Vine presents "Sabbath'" featuring The Cure's Simon Gallup on bass and Peter Yates of Fields of the Nephilim on guitar. They have also unveiled a new video for this track, created by Craig Murray, known for his extensive work with Mogwai. After asking Evi for ten words to describe the video they wanted, Murray took his favorite things which includes horror, liquids, hair and sea life to create a semi narrative film. Sabbath had this eerie vibe about it that I found myself oddly becoming absorbed by. The dark and hauntingly chilling atmosphere creates kind of allowed me to channel in a persona I’ve never found myself channeling from a song before. The vocals were so idiosyncratic and beautiful. If we’re discussing genre of music, I don’t think Sabbath is the type of single that can be categorized with other songs due to its highly individual characteristics. It holds its own as an art form and an experience for their listeners. It shows great dynamics with its augmented measurements timed perfectly. Listen to Evi Vines new single "SABBATH" and be sure to check out their new music video! Hey there! Care to introduce yourselves to our readers? We are Evi, Stevie, Matt and GB from Evi Vine. How did Evi Vine form? 3 years ago GB climbed in our car window as we drove away from a wedding out of his mind on alcohol, telling us we needed him in the band!….and somehow we did…. He introduced us to Matt and core was set. Matt took 3 months to join though as he’d cut of his thumb in an accident. You guys have a unique musical style, how would you describe it? We’re into our journey with music with a new band and we’ve become a tight knit family, band of brothers, sharing music and tales of childhood we have a different but collective story. Experiences drawing of all corners of the music that we have immersed ourselves in over the years, once we met Matt (bass) and 'GB’ (drums) we quickly realized we had been at the same gigs, the same festivals and the same clubs through the years so we have a musical vocabulary that goes beyond the ordinary…we actually used to walk past GB’s house on the way to work for about 10 years! So we all grew up with grunge, metal, electronic, dance music, trip hop, rave, techno, folk…it's all in there feeding through us when we play.  We also recorded live for the first time which meant we were perhaps able to express the energy in the room together vibing off one another experimenting with new sounds, in a new space writing in the room was a new experience for us. Its the first time we’ve gone in with no song structures, we had a few ideas and riffs but took the time to let them breath and worked on them until we felt we had captured a moment/performance. Did you all share the same vision when coming together to form this band? The vision is to try and create something that moves us emotionally, in the hope it moves other people. What has been the most memorable moment so far in your career? Having Simon Gallup from The Cure come and record with us was pretty cool…as was Touring with The Mission and Pete Murphy last year. What goals do you have set for yourself in 2019? Heading straight back into the studio to record the next album….we’re in a creative period and want to get the new material down. We have some cool festivals lined up and we’re excited to share the album and let the music free. Connect with Evi Vine on social media: Website Facebook YouTube Twitter iTunes Spotify #BuzzMusic

  • Catch A Vibe With New Track From Nick Pro & Habibi Hush - "Swirvin"

If you looking for new music that can match your taste for tight beats, catchy lyrics, and impeccable flows then you might want to check out these upcoming rap prodigies who impressed us with their new release “Swirvin”, Nick Pro and Habibi Hush are both from Rhode Island which is a small state but contain with big talent like these two! “Swirvin” caught my eye with the first bar. Their metaphors were highly witty and I caught myself vibing out to each wordplay and line in the song. That was a strong indicator to me that “Swirvin” can play as a great tune for not only parties but any moment in life where you can just thoroughly enjoy music, let go of worries and let the song become a unit with you! What’s significantly awesome about “Swirvin” was the cockiness and confidence demonstrated by Nick Pro and Habibi. The attitude is perfect for hip-hop artists because the rap game is highly competitive and you have to toot your own horn in order to gain some sort of necessary respect from others! Nick Pro and Habibi are undeniably on the rise to success and we can’t see either of them failing if they continue to produce non-stop energetic music like “Swirvin”. Listen to “Swirvin” here. • Finland Rock Band Aeon Antenna Release New Groovy Hit

Aeon Antenna released their single titled “RoboCock”. “RoboCock” begins with a suave electric guitars which makes for a groovy introduction. The song shows much musical progression when it transitions into a catchy, eerie and outlandish vibe. I like how “RoboCock” exhibits true electrifying rock, that mainstream rock music has while delivering a witty feel. Something neat, I played this song on my home speaker, the company I had over came in the living room and instantly began dancing alongside the hit. This was an indication to me that Aeon Antenna has this unique ability to garner a party together and capture the attention of the crowds. I didn’t look at “RoboCock” as a party hit, more so a song we can rock out too in our cars, however I quickly realized it’s the companionship that "RoboCock" brings. Imagine listening to this with your friends, without any care in the world, on a freeway drive. Just jamming out together and enjoying the moment. “RoboCock” has that special stimulating and exhilarating effect on others! Check out our interview with the band and be sure to listen to Aeon Antenna's new song "RoboCock". Hey guys, care to introduce yourselves to our readers? Moi, that’s how we say hello in Finland! We’re four slightly odd gentlemen that have been making experimental rock with funky breaks and proggy melodic twists for about 10 years now. We recently took 3 years off but we’re back again and ready to make all new music in 2019 and beyond. How was the creation process for “RoboCock” ? The music began as an interplay between our deliriously happy guitarist Henri and our ever-chilled bassist Patrik who had come bearing riffs that day. At the time our singer Steve wasn’t yet in the band so the music grew whilst he larked about obliviously elsewhere. Steve in his (lack of) wisdom had written the lyrics to “RoboCock” then titled “Vegbot” months before joining the band and left them to their fate on a scrappy piece of paper somewhere amongst a tide of random stuff. Shortly after arriving in the band Henri sent a demo of “Jimi’s Magic Cock” to Steve, he replied jokingly ‘I have a stupid story about a one armed robot and his cat’. Henri thought it was a perfect fit and we never looked back. How would you describe your musical style? We once invented our own genre named “purple rock pickle” because we’ve had a tough time identifying ourselves amongst known styles. We have a lot of small elements from many familiar genres, musical artists and influences from other media entirely. Despite this the sound revolves around a four piece hard rock style with melodic bass and the experimental side is usually found in small moments where we veer in a new direction and seek a surprise. There’s psychedelic moments, metal riffing, funky breakaways, jazzy doodles and we feel that you’ll at least hear hints of Jethro Tull, Tool, Kingston Wall (great Finnish rock), Iron Maiden and Rush in our music. What’s the most addicting part about creating music!? We often discuss what we want from the band apart from pipe dreams of million-dollar homes and the ideas are pretty simple. First and foremost the addiction to making music for us is the satisfaction of creating something that we truly enjoy ourselves. This band has been through a lot of ups and downs but it keeps on bouncing back because it is full of our personalities and might just be indestructible because we love it, each other and the songs too much. What type of vibe do you personally feel “RoboCock” gives? “RoboCock” gives a playful vibe that hopefully carries the listener away until the inevitable moment dawns when they ponder what on earth the lyrics are about. That is the moment when an Aeon Antennafan is either born or lost. The song could be viewed as a test of one’s courage, dare you play this to your friends? Have you performed live yet? If so, any pre-stage traditions that help you prepare for the crowd? We’ve been playing live since the earliest days of the band. We haven’t brought our big supply of energy to anywhere  outside of Finland yet so we’re looking for opportunities to do that. Before a show we almost always have a little meeting where we ask each other how we’re feeling and boost each other’s egos with wildly exaggerated compliments and closer hugs than we should admit. • Alias None Is Delivering Energetic Bangers "25/8"

Alias None has a one of a kind style and voice with a very rough-edge and unique flow paired with soft and smooth melodies making him well known for his versatility. Alias None isn't a stranger to voicing out his opinion on what we take in as "Hip Hop" these days and is known for taking shots at artists for faking their careers - some to never to return to music. Alias None began playing various instruments at the age of 10 and started playing around with Hip Hop further in his life around 2007 when he was just seventeen. Later Alias None would then join with Tyrant and then Johnny Manic forming, Fac3Valu3 to do some minor touring and some notable shows. It wasn’t until 2018 that Alias None started taking music serious and leaving the mentality of it being a hobby behind. Alias None released his hyphy banger “25/8”. I played this song on full volume and saw how it caught the attention of not only myself but others around me. It has that special effect to garner an audience and attract listeners. Maybe it’s Alias None's gritty, unique and out of the ordinary rap voice? Maybe it’s the gaudily, extravagant, dark - yet chilly aggressive rap beat? Or maybe it’s the hard-hitting lyricism with the impeccable delivery and insane flow.Whatever it is, “25/8” instantly gravitates you towards the banging record. It has the potential of not only serving as a radio hit but a party hit to share with all your friends! It’s perfectly fitting for the current trend of rap culture. Lately, hip-hop fans been vying for the bold and in your face rap style that’s been lacking in certain areas of the rap game. Alias None is here to fill that void of raw talent and charisma we didn’t know we desperately needed! Check out Alias None's new song "25/8" and learn more about the meaning behind the song from Alias None himself! Hey there, care to introduce yourself to our readers? Hey, so my name is Colin Rankin (Alias None). I'm from the East Coast of Canada. I was born in Fredericton, the Capital of New Brunswick and I grew up between there and Saint John. What inspired you to start rapping? We were teens.. an old buddy and I were just relaxing in the basement on a uncomfortably hot summer day.. "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" was playing over and over on the DVDs main menu, so I figured why not sit down and mess around? Long story short, I ended up realizing I got more emotion out of writing than I'd did playing the various instruments I was playing at the time. That's what inspired me to write that day... What inspired me to start rapping was the feeling I got when writing... Odd that I've always enjoyed Hip Hop yet never gave one thought to writing until late in my teens. Who are some of your musical inspirations and why? Oh man, that's a super long list! I've been playing guitar since I was ten, various instruments followed so I have inspiration from many artists. Growing up I listened to a lot of music with my Dad. Everything from Uriah Heep to Chris DeBurgh. Honestly, I listened to everything you can imagine that was mainstream from probably 1970 and on. The Game, Eminem, G-Unit, Ludacris, Ice Cube, Slipknot, Cannibal Corpse, Primus,et. But as for currently; Kevin Gates, Syph, Littles The General, Sayzee, Mozzy, Scrap Gang and so many more! Although you’re a rapper, do you like broadening your genre of music? - One hundred percent. If I'm alone I generally listen to instrumental jazz or blues. A lot of people around me complain that it sounds like elevator music so I tend to do that on my own time. What’s your artist interpretation behind “25/8”? I've been going non stop for my people for as long as I can remember. I'm up everyday between 9am and 10am and I don't usually get to bed until between 4:30am and 7am. When it comes to my hunger for success so that my people need for nothing, I have a tape worm. If I could function without sleep I wouldn't have a bed. It might not be healthy but that's my mindset.. I've surpassed motivation.. I don't even know the word for where I'm at with this focus. Do you usually deliver an aggressive flow or do you like to switch it up sometimes? No, in my humble opinion, I believe I am very versatile. I almost don't have a particular sound because I experiment so much.. and I think that gives me my own sound. What’s your opinion on the current state of hip-hop? I think it's transforming into entertainment and the artistry of lyricism is getting lost. It's sad to say that a high percentage of what sells isn't what it appears to be. I remember laying back on my bed listening to album after album with headphones on.. nowadays I don't know many people in the younger generations that can enjoy a song without a video because we've "dumbed" down our populations so much we can't associate the music properly without visual stimulation. Is there a major rap scene in Canada? There's a passionate scene. Booming? No.. Alive? Yes. Drake has put us on the map in a major way... Merkules is doing a lot right now and is making us underdogs proud. Canada isn't the U.S, it's definitely harder to make it from here for obvious reasons but nonetheless, Hip Hop is alive and well in my beautiful country. If you can collaborate with any rapper of your choice who would it be and why? Hands down, Kevin Gates. His music has made an impact on my life in a major way in the past few years. I might not be where I am today if it wasn't for his music. Where do you find inspiration for your songwriting? Everywhere. It can come from waking up in a good mood, it can come from a realization in a simple conversation, the possibilities are endless. What’s your ultimate goal for 2019? No doubt about it, by the end of 2019, I'll be doing music full-time. My Mum deserves here dream home and my Dad deserves his dream Corvette. I won't stop till I can retire them and give them everything they want. Before you'll ever see me buy a fancy car or house you'll see my parents in theirs. That's real talk. • Pagan Picnic Will Charm You With Latest Release “Neon Strip”

Pagan Picnic released “Neon Strip” and this wasn’t an easy song to interpret but we love a challenge! Pagan Picnic did a great job isolating the meaning behind the song and i say that because for me, it really evoked my interest in the record more. Pagan Picnic has an electrifying sound, and hauntingly eerie voice that sends chills through your body. So while you’re becoming practically mesmerized and enthralled by their spellbinding and enrapturing voice, you’re relaxed by the gorgeous sounds of the guitar and lost in the attempt of decoding the message of “Neon Strip”. “Neon Strip” evokes the nomadic emotion in our body, it sets off a feeling of curiosity to explore the song in a more depth manner. For me, it’s fun being able to become a union with the art and to scavenger through the melancholic aesthetic to find the morale. Pagan Picnic has an appealing vibe where you’re interested in seeing the act live. Their music is attracting enough alongside their charisma and aura that’s subtly presented in the music itself. Pagan picnic is a band I think we will be hearing a lot from in these upcoming year! Listen to "Neon Strip" here and get to know Pagan Picnic in our interview below! Hey guys, how did you guys meet and form? Where did you get the name “Pagan Picnic”? We were all invited to a nobleman's 19th century-themed masquerade and coincidentally we all came dressed as Catherine Earnshaw from Wuthering Heights. We bonded over this fact and became friends. Then we started a band. We had no idea what to call our band but eventually decided on Pagan Picnic, a name inspired by an odd encounter we had with people who were performing pagan rituals in the woods outside of our hometown. Have you guys ever performed live yet? Is that an invite to come play in LA? Then count us in! But so far we've only played local gigs. How do you find most of your inspiration for your songwriting? We just try to make music that we enjoy playing and listening to. You get ideas from everything really, whether it’s other music, art or just life in general. What’s the meaning behind “Neon Strip”? The words just sounded cool together. The song with the same name is about a person’s romantic relationship with a mannequin. In your opinion, what sets you apart from other bands in the industry? We have a diverse background and our music is not defined by genre. We write music not because we think it’s cool or to get laid, we play because we have to. It’s like pooping, it’s just something we have to do to keep living. Any exciting plans for this year? We’ll write and record more music, and hopefully play lots of live shows, maybe even a few festivals if we’re lucky. • Ryan Cabana Delivers Conscious Filled Raps For Everyone To Enjoy

Ryan Cabana released “Kilombo” and with an insane flow and hard-hitting lyrics we can tell you that this rising rap sensation will cause waves in the music scene in all the correct ways. His sound instantly captivated me due to his unique rap voice that seems individualistic from any other rap voice I’ve heard recently. My favorite part about “Kilombo” however is his substance. Ryan Cabana discusses the toxic and brainwashed mentality of the young generation today. His consciously filled raps is what today’s generation need. Considering the fact that the youth is heavily influenced by the culture of hip-hop and the music that elevates their growth, artists like Ryan Cabana who projects good morals while not losing his “swag” that will translate well across an audience of hip-hop lovers is what makes him special and is much needed in today’s ethical rap music. The beat was extremely dope. It had the popular and appealing bass sound we love with an exquisite twist to the concurrent sound of rap beats. “Kilombo” is going to be a hit that many can vibe out to including you aggressive rap lovers all the way to you laidback calm-collected music lovers. • Ainae Nielsen Captures Our Attention With New Single “Dragon Heart Lemonade”

Ainae Nielsen is a vocalist and songwriter who was raised in SouthEastern Washington DC. Ainae used her poetry as a way to translate her experiences into her music. She recently released her first EP entitled “Contort” available on all platforms. Ainae continues to work and release new music showing her vulnerabilities and love for her craft. The world is writing a story the Ainae has the pen to translate. Ainae released her single titled “Dragon Heart Lemonade” and we were thoroughly impressed by her ability to convey genuine emotion through sincere lyricism and dynamic vocals. The song has the trendy augmented backtrack instrumental that holds as support to the record making the pop sound more vibrant! Ainae’s vocal resonance is highly delicate and she comforts us with her serenading vocals, yet showing off her fierce and tenacious attitude within the tune. Ainae impressed us with her wide vocal range, and powerful delivery. Many artists can’t sustain a balance between style and skills, however, she projected that specific balance effortlessly with her idiosyncratic energy and vocally skilled resonance. I interpreted that “Dragon Heart Lemondae” is the empowering girl power anthem about walking away from somebodies BS and realizing that you don’t have to deal with it any longer. Many people could relate to this single and it would translate well across many diverse groups of musical listeners! Listen to “Dragon Heart Lemonade” here.
