- Specyal T Invites You To Explore Life And Love’s Infinite Possibilities In, “Foresight”
The veteran artist returns to bring more music for the soul on her exciting new release. A dynamic and versatile artist whose distinctive vocals have earned her comparisons to Lauryn Hill and Missy Elliot, singer-songwriter Specyal T’s musical journey has been one of epic proportions. Having displayed an extraordinary aptitude for music at the tender age of two, this initial foray would herald the start of a lifelong love affair with music. An excellent all-around student who became the first black valedictorian in her school’s century-long history, T’s artistic (and all-around) brilliance only increased with time. Now gearing up to release her 4th studio album, “Foresight,” this talented artist looks to continue the rich legacy she’s built for herself. T’s artistic talent was always obvious, but her musical career would take a significant leap after she joined forces with Universal Music and Soul Kiss Entertainment. She would instantly leave her footprint on the scene, dropping her debut single and video, “Ice Cream Cone” (with Canadian rap icon Michie Mee), to immediate buzz and acclaim. Her 2020 classic “A Specyal Remedy” stood out as a calming and comforting force amid the global pandemic, and other releases like her studio album “Dose of Distinction,” which debuted at #11 on the UK R&B chart continued to build on her powerful legacy. Perhaps most impressively, T remains remarkably consistent despite adversity and personal loss. Although she tragically lost her youngest daughter in 2017, T persevered, dedicating a beautiful " Tionne " concept album based on and remembering her daughter. Cheekily, as much as T looks to the future on “Foresight,” the album is a series of exciting comparisons and contradictions of the past, present, and future. On songs like “Date Night,” T exudes exhilaration at the excitement the future will bring, dropping lines like “Tonite it’s on, your delight / Continues, reunite / Under the stars, our invite / Run the song, its date nite.” On other songs like “Back In The Day,” lines like “Back in the day, more simple it was / Workin or play, straight vibing because / We all had more range, much to display” indicate T is just as ready to reminisce, relishing the memories of a time where everything seemed more straightforward. T’s willingness to touch different perspectives reflects a broader approach she’s taken with her music; her projects touch on life as a whole, from minor curious footnotes in the past to unimaginably bright possibilities in the future. That’s the kind of construct love has in T’s world; the possibilities are boundless, and although there may not be many constants in a world filled with chaos, lines like “Life throws curveballs, been thru plenty / Around every corner, ain’t hard to find / This ain’t scripted, don’t know when we / Face the worst, you’re my peace of mind” on the album’s closing track “Peace of Mind” show that love can be the binding constant. T's numerous temporal perspectives hide a fundamental truth of life and relationships. However, things in the past may have power in the present; they need not dictate the future. This is real life; it’s always possible to make the most of our situations if we have the “Foresight” to make it possible. Specyal T’s album “Foresight” is a beautiful undertaking that captures love and its remarkable ability to affect the past, present and future amidst the incredible highs and lows life brings us. In “Foresight,” T reminds us that she’s a force to be reckoned with, and as long as she’s got love on her side, anything is possible. Whenever you’re ready, tap in and stream Specyal T’s latest release “Foresight”, out now. Welcome back to BuzzMusic, Specyal T! “Foresight” felt amazing! We loved the contemporary R&B feel of the album. We wanted to ask, what inspired this album, and was the final version of “Foresight” close to what you initially envisioned? Thanks for having me back BuzzMusic! Much respect, I appreciate it! The inspiration for this album came from my natural desire to continue to share my vibe and journey in life through music. ‘Foresight’ has definitely lived up to my initial vision and I’m excited to share it with y’all. How did you end up deciding on “Foresight” as the title for your 4th studio album? Is there a story behind it that you’d like to share? When we last spoke, I had just released the third and final instalment of my ‘Dose of Distinction’ trilogy. Now I’m here with my fourth studio album, which is life after the Remedy, and along with this new album I also entered a new decade this year. Together with a love of wordplay, I essentially have a different outlook on things and ‘Foresight’ was born. Obviously, there’s a lot of good music to choose from, but do you have a favorite single from “Foresight”? Each song on this album resonates with me, but one new stand out I will mention is “One Thing.” It was a late addition to the album and it was also the very first song I wrote in this new decade I am in now. What was your favorite part of bringing your vision for “Foresight” to life? Also, what goals would you like to achieve through your music? I love all aspects of the creative process. From hearing the instrumentation and creating the song concepts, to recording and constructing melodies and vocal lines, to hearing each song transform through mixing and sound design. I’d like to continue to reach a global audience with my unique brand of sound. What’s next for Specyal T? What are you most excited about for the future, and is there anything you want to say to your fans? I’m always in studio working on new music. Hopefully more collaborative projects, live shows etc. I’m always excited to see how my music evolves, where it reaches and who it touches. To all my Specyalites current and new, thank you for being with me on this journey. I truly appreciate your continued love and support. Bless Up! Instagram Facebook

Man, you’ve really been on an impressive run recently! We wanted to ask, what’s been inspiring your recent run of releases? For countless years since my rockstar days, I've poured my heart into crafting song after song. In the earlier years, I found myself curating songs for fellow artists and commercials, diligently cataloging my creations. However, I started to get sick of it - a longing to share my musical creations with the world, to let them resonate beyond my own walls. Music, for me, is the purest form of self-expression, a profound channel through which my emotions and thoughts find their voice. Yet, for far too long, this cherished art has remained dormant, untouched by the ears of those who might connect with it. The time has finally come to change that narrative, to breathe life back into the dormant melodies. Releasing music once again has been a revitalizing experience, an act that stirs the soul and reignites the creative fire that has always burned within. The concept is simple and profound—each composition I create, every lyrical journey I embark upon, finds its way to the world. With each note and verse, I share the immense joy that music brings me, hoping it extends the same delight to all who lend their ears. In the end, it's a circle of shared happiness. Take us through the creative process for “Soldier”! What was your favorite part of bringing the vision for this release to life? "Soldiers" holds a special place in my heart. It began taking shape years ago, shortly after the arrival of my first daughter. The initial verse and chorus flowed from me, becoming a cherished musical fragment I'd revisit in fleeting moments over the years. Last year, I embarked on the journey of these new releases. I took a step back and finished writing "Soldiers" — a heartfelt tribute to fatherhood. This song resonates deeply with me, encapsulating the profound emotions and experiences tied to this incredible role I embrace. What’s been your favorite part of being a musician and being able to release your own music to your fans? Also, do you have a favorite musical memory you’d like to share? The thrill of playing live music is incomparable — witnessing a sea of emotions unfold on the faces of the audience as my melodies envelop them. The stage is my haven; performing, playing, and sharing that space with fellow music enthusiasts is pure joy. The release of new music amplifies this excitement. There's an unparalleled thrill in presenting fresh sounds to the world, knowing that each note might resonate profoundly with someone's heart. The connection formed between my music and its listeners is a constant source of inspiration, an affirmation of the power of creative expression. One of the treasured moments etched in my mind stands out: touring alongside Maroon 5, our song echoing from radios and filling the airwaves. At a vibrant summer festival, amidst the crowd's energy, I stood before 15,000 people. Their voices harmonized with mine, singing the lyrics I had crafted. It was a surreal, indescribable experience, culminating in countless hours of dedication. This memory, one of my happiest musical moments, remains etched in my soul. How would you describe your music to people who haven't heard it before? It's like you're encountering a familiar sound, you swear you've heard before, while simultaneously revealing in the thrill of something entirely novel. The experience carries an inspiring, invigorating essence, infusing a surge of energy and a playful vibe that's simply irresistible for some good old-fashioned rocking out. What’s next for Marc Oliver? Can we expect to hear more new music soon, and is there anything you want to say to your fans? The future holds boundless promise – A new song each month for another year!! or more!! This momentum is invigorating, a creative surge that propels me forward. I'm fervently optimistic that those journeying with me will relish every step of this musical voyage. To all those who call themselves fans of mine, I extend my deepest gratitude. Your support bestows upon me the ultimate gift – the joy of sharing my emotions through the melodies I craft. Join me in person for a live experience, where we'll weave unforgettable moments and bask in the sheer delight of it all. Instagram Facebook
- Take A Walk On The Daring Side Of All That Is “Queen of The Fools”
In 2023, making art in Eastern Europe requires flexibility, ingenuity, and commitment. In certain countries, events on the ground have become so treacherous that merely existing is challenging. This is where the members of The Sextape have persevered and pushed the boundaries regarding their Russian roots. Doing what most wish to do unapologetically, they've got the guts to question the government's line on the brutal invasion of Ukraine — which has jeopardized their careers, freedoms, and skin. Taking a stand and bringing their latest cinematic experience to life, the fearless displayed by The Sextape is equally bold in sound and vision. "Queen of The Fools" is the masterpiece in the spotlight and will bring up many emotions for viewers alike. Through the neon hues and dark undertones, the amplified grit that's locked into the onscreen anticipation depicts suspense like no other through the storytelling at hand. As director Roman Safin constructs a brilliant sequence of energies, he molds an effervescent medley of danger, charm, sexuality, and dark beauty together as he ropes you in. As viewers tag along for the journey of a confident yet mysterious woman as she tours the dimly lit floors and darkened hallways of a nightclub, we're immediately provoked with thought and curiosity, eager to know what happens next. Placing us right in her palm where she wants us, she's on the prowl and radiating themes of vigilant trickery as she switches between wardrobes and lures dangerous men into compromising positions. The twists and turns will leave your jaw on the floor, and throughout this piece, as we pan back and forth between the colorful scenes and the black and white scaled imagery of The Sextapes performing cohesively and in a compelling nature as the footage remains deliriously ambiguous. We're caught between our morals of what's right vs. doing the right thing. The team that created the "Queen of the Fools" music video is a collective of professionals from several countries: famous Turkish actor Resit Berker Enhos played the second victim, and Russian actress Lera Shtuovskaya played the main character. The video also features a cameo from non-binary model @achcaan (he/they), who took part with his husband. Other crew members - cameramen, lighting artists, production artists, etc. - had worked with high-profile acts with budgets to match but were intrigued by this independent band's drive and desire to create. One thing is for sure, The Sextape knows that the difference between good and great is laced within the details, and with "Queen of The Fools," we would commit to an entire series of the events that transpire. Be sure to check out all that unfolds as you take in the hype surrounding The Sextape. Welcome to BuzzMusic, The Sextape! Congratulations on the release of this cinematic feature that's known as "Queen of The Fools." We see why the creative dynamic thrives together so well by hearing the song title, listening to the lyrics, and fully taking in the visuals. How did the concept of "Queen of The Fools" come together, and what is it like working with Roman Safin to execute the genius ideas? Hello, guys! Thank you for watching our music video, and we appreciate the opportunity to do this interview. The song came to us as a flow of consciousness, more like images. I don't like to talk about the ideas behind our songs. But what's interesting is that Roman breathed new life into these lyrics. That's what I love about art – everyone can find their own meaning in a piece, which might even differ from the author's original intention. Working with Roman wasn't easy; our opinions often clashed, and sometimes I wanted to strangle him, but more often, I saw a professional in him. How long did it take to film "Queen of The Fools," and what was the filming experience in Istanbul? Is this the first international feature you have under your belt? It was our very first music video, and it turned out to be international immediately! The shooting took three days, with two weeks of preparation. Each shift lasted 14-16 hours, and it wasn't easy, but we had a fantastic team and pulled it off. Filming in Istanbul was complicated with police interference and run-ins with pimps, but that's a story for another time. Overall, we met some excellent people who even helped us at times. Please take us into the meaning behind the single and what stories or experiences brought this concept to life. What message are you hoping your audience takes away from it? Honestly, I'm not ready to discuss the emotions and ideas embedded in this album and this song. The message is: you're living like a mess; wake up. You've been through many hardships as a band, which adds to your unique story and who you are as an individual and a group. What has been the most challenging thing you've had to overcome, and was music always a priority through the tough times? The hardest part was when we hastily left our homeland. I thought the band wouldn't survive; it wasn't the best of times. After the relocation, there was a moment when music wasn't a priority at all; we needed to rebuild our lives. But music pulled me towards the light during those times, and I knew that once everything settled, we would continue with The Sextape. What's next for you? Next, we have a single, maybe one or two more, and then an album. We already have the material; we just need to shape it. It was great to increase the video production, but now I want to do everything myself – most likely, they'll be DIY videos with a more raw aesthetic. And, who knows, maybe the Grammys, Coachella, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame are also somewhere in line. Instagram Twitter

- Sonic Scene Kids Puts New Spin On Nostalgic Sounds In New Album, “Live, Laugh, Toaster Bath"
The veterans of Toronto’s vibrant music scene show their remarkable chemistry on their debut album release. Driven by an unfettered love for music, the individual members of Toronto outfit Sonic Scene Kids played in the local Toronto scene for almost twenty years before teaming up. With rich experience and poise befitting industry veterans, their eclectic brand of music reflects the rich and diverse influences of punk, metal, indie, ska, and rock that influenced their artistic directions. Having displayed the remarkable ability to put new, refreshing twists on the nostalgic and familiar, Sonic Scene Kids have shown they have everything necessary to succeed at the highest levels. It’s hard to imagine, but Sonic Scene Kids have only played together for five months. Their chemistry feels like it’s at a level that’s been honed for years, not months, and the band constantly feels like more than the sum of its already impressive parts. The group also writes and produces their music, ensuring every release meets their lofty standards. About their music, Sonic Scene Kids say that they make music for the fans who remember burning CD mixes and tagging them with black Sharpies, and it’s safe to say that they’ve captured that nostalgic feeling in their music. “Live, Laugh, Toaster Bath” is an amusing title that, funnily enough, perfectly encapsulates the musical energy and era of the Sonic Scene Kids channel on this musical journey. “Live, Laugh, and Toaster Bath is a warm and nostalgic project that evokes shades of the times bands like Blink-182, Green Day, and My Chemical Romance dominated the radiowaves. That isn’t to say Sonic Scene Kids are stuck in the past, though; with crisp production, immaculate energy, and breathtaking vocal performances, “Live, Laugh, Toaster Bath” feels like a revitalizing, fresh spin on timeless sounds. From the moment you delve into the project, the opening salvo, “Less Than Human,” draws you in with rollicking guitar riffs and lines like “There’s something wrong with the days cut short / but the nights are long and lonely” that channel that feeling of relatable angst we felt listening to rock in the early 2000s. This energy is impressively maintained throughout the record, with other standout songs like “Batteries Not Included” and “Spreading Fire” Pts 1 and 2 maintaining this energy and feeling like mini musical journeys. Sonic Scene Kids manage to balance these high-energy releases with perfectly placed introspective offerings like “Code Required,” where lines like “Keep a piece of you in every scar, stay true to what we are / the silence it's just tearing me apart” cut deep along with the mellowed out instrumentals. Although the energy doesn’t dip here too often, that makes these moments hit even harder, and by the time listeners reach “Surfer Girl,” the project conclusion, lines like “Could we clear the air before we die / I wanna hold you every night” are performed with a reverence that befits the musical journey that has just ended. Sonic Scene Kids’ album “Live, Laugh, Toaster Bath” is a welcome and engrossing release that makes a nostalgic influence sound fresh and exciting. Whenever you’re ready, tap in and stream Sonic Scene Kids' new album “Live, Laugh, Toaster Bath”, available now on all majour streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic Sonic Kids, and congratulations on your latest album release, "Live, Laugh, Toaster Bath." Can you share the story behind the name "Sonic Scene Kids?" The name took a really long time to decide on. We wanted to create something catchy and memorable that represents what we are trying to accomplish musically. We went back and forth between the four of us for weeks until we started to circle some common themes. The Masonic Lodge in Mississauga (specifically, Streestville) in the early 2000s was where we connected with our Scene and watched some of our favorite bands. Some bands who played shows there during that time went on to have big followings (such as Billy Talent, Alexisonfire, and Bedouin Soundclash), while others remained local favorites. Still, all those bands have significantly influenced us as artists. One of us finally threw out the name "Sonic Scene Kids." It felt like the connection between the three major themes came together: the physical "Sonic" referring to the Masonic Lodge where we came together, "Scene" referring to the community of artists across the punk, ska, emo, power pop, and metal genres whose shows we attended and "Kids" because of the nostalgic early 2000's vibe our music has really brought us back to that time, and we hope it does the same for those listening. What were the most significant influences that shaped your group's distinctive musical style? We all spent our early years deeply involved in our local music scene, including fans and artists from Emo, Punk, Ska, Rock, Indie, and Metal genres. Most of our influences for the album came from early 2000s pop punk, punk, metal, and emo, but our influences span multiple genres and decades. We didn't want to prescribe one particular sound when we approached the project. We have not really restricted ourselves to a specific genre and have always wanted to stay true to expressing our feelings and experiences. The four of us have eclectic tastes in music. Because of that, we do an excellent job of balancing searching for new artists and sounds to connect with while always leaning back on the ones that have stood the test of time. How does the title "Live, Laugh, Toaster Bath" reflect the album's spirit? The title is a funny way of looking at how hard life can be. When you reflect on the lyrics of the songs, it also fits that theme of not taking life too seriously. Just be a good human: live your life, do your best, and say "fuck it" to the rest! What themes or messages do you hope listeners pick from "Live, Laugh, Toaster Bath?" Well, many people are feeling nostalgic these days, especially when it comes to music. Throughout the process, it has been essential to ensure the songs represent who we were when we started writing and who we are today as artists. We consciously included nods to some of our previous projects when writing the album. When attending shows in the early 2000s, we refer to our community as the "Scene ."The Scene, for us, was a collective of shows where you built lifelong relationships and memories. Our venues typically had a capacity of 100-200 and were a place to escape, thrive, and be a part of something bigger than yourself. This album is a living, breathing reminder of the scenes that supported and nurtured our personal and musical growth. The world could use more of that shared connection, especially now. Our album hopefully provides a safe place for people to sing, dance, laugh, smile, or cry – whatever they need. What's next for Sonic Scene Kids? We want to play live. We have a great lineup with incredible chemistry and are having so much fun right now. We are pushing out the whole album very soon and getting ready to start playing live shows again. Everyone in the band is pumped to play the music we wrote for crowds again. There is no better feeling than communicating how you are feeling through music. A big focus for us has been bringing that Scene back together. As we start sharing and performing, we also try to connect and engage with those in the space who share our mission. We are committed to bringing this idea of community around music to life for those who have lived it before and those looking for a safe place to hear incredible music and meet good people. Toronto’s music scene has been a staple and powerhouse in the music industry for years, with megastars like Drake, the Weeknd, NAV, and Tory Lanez among the many A-listers from the vibrant musical city. However, although these stars and Canada’s influence on hip-hop has become ubiquitous in recent years, the city denizens affectionately referred to as “The Six” has remained shrouded in relative mystery. Rapper SAYNT JAYSN has made the scorching furnace of Toronto’s hip-hop scene his home, weathering stiff competition and establishing himself as a standout performer. With his gaze on the future, the talented musician looks to continue his upward trajectory and fulfill his limitless potential. Although JAYSN was born and raised in Toronto, he spent his formative years in Bermuda. Whenever you’re in the mood for some love stories, tap in and stream SAYNT JAYSN’s new release, “Take You Home," available now on all majour streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, SAYNT JAYSN! We loved “Take You Home”; we had to ask! What was the inspiration behind this piece? Could you take us through the creative process for this release? Dwight (Miller, director/editor) developed the concept, a play on the movie The Joker. Our album (It’s Okay To Be Happy Again, fall 2023) has themes of mental health issues; taking a simple love song and turning the video into a guessing game of what’s-real-and-what-not-real piqued my interest. That’s all, Dwight. I can’t take credit for that. What was your favorite part about seeing your vision for the music video come to life? When the video isn’t your concept, you must believe in the person executing that vision. My favorite part was watching it for the first time to see how it would all come together. As an artist, you’re usually in the driver’s seat creatively. Dwight’s just as passionate about his art as an emcee/rapper, and knowing his background in music, I trust him. Your chemistry with Jônelle was pretty amazing! How did you two end up collaborating on this release? Jônelle and I hadn’t met until we shot the video. She’s an incredible talent as a writer and as a vocalist. She has an excellent command of her voice. Some so many singers don’t have a full grasp of their range, so they needlessly do runs all over the place. She’s a sniper. That was another Dwight call. We had a different version of that song that wasn’t quite coming together as we wanted. She subbed in and saved the game. How would you describe your music to someone who hasn’t heard it before? I make my music as efficient as possible. I provide the song with what it needs. Not every piece NEEDS a chorus, and not every rhyme needs 100 bars. I do my best to find the happy medium in all my songs. It’s all a balancing act, a well-cooked meal where each ingredient has its place to make its presence felt. I might rap for three or four minutes straight. I might only give you 12 bars in a mostly instrumental song. I’m here to provide the music with what it needs to be a complete statement. What’s next for SAYNT JAYSN? Your album It’s Okay To Be Happy Again is dropping soon. Anything you want to say to your fans? I’m going to Disneyland! And not after the album sells 4 million physical copies and 23 million streams. No, we’re celebrating now! LOL, enjoy the album - it’s dark, but it’s fun. But mostly dark. But sometimes fun. So yeah. Enjoy! Instagram
- Join Aaron Marlowe On A Journey To Discover The “Bottom Of The Shot Glass”
Nashville's finest, Aaron Marlowe, takes us on a night out with an overview of his newest release, "Bottom Of The Shot Glass." Having been a software developer for 20 years, Aaron believed he had more than computer skills to give the world. Twenty-five years of guitar experience helped guide his sound to personal perfection. Aaron's authenticity branches from his influences from the '70s & '80s, like Johnny Cash, Led Zeppelin, and Neil Young. The blend of country and rock brings Aaron's sound to a new horizon; he purposely brings euphoric, nostalgic-like tracks to remind listeners of the good times. Searching for lost love at the end of a shot glass is a moment many can resonate with, whether it be a lost relative or lost lover. Aaron Marlowe sets the atmosphere for a perfect gathering with friends and family by taking us through an evening of booze and country grooves. During the second verse, Aaron meets a woman, and the sparks fly high, igniting the love lost and giving him a sense of hope for a brighter day. The guitar continues to strum away and gracefully mesh country soul and rock & roll with the help of a gritty drum player and nostalgia; Aaron Marlowe hands us a record he mentions as his favorite of the 10-track LP "Resurrection." - Exploring New Sonic Landscapes: toast’s Melodic Journey Through “clay house”
"Art should never be sociological; it has got to be timeless. It's got to be your vision and how you can represent the world you see," said the late Vivienne Westwood. With powerful words, it's no wonder that this quote inspires Florida's creative toast to live by. Leaning on the people closest to him, the seemingly vulnerable artist pulls inspiration from various art forms and aims to transport listeners into a newfound world reminiscent of his emotions and theatrical themes. So, let's pose a question: Why do we have to feel so intensely? If you're in the same boat as us and occasionally wonder about this, toast is here to let you know you aren't alone in this regard. These moments of life lead to finding your particular person and knowing that you'll take over the world with them. Those isolated moments bring you to the va-va-voom where you never want that person to leave. His most recent genre-bending release, "clay house," propels through a dimension of vulnerability and lands upon an instantaneous force field of adoration and timeless expression that pulls you in. "clay house" is part of an extended rollout towards Toast's second full-length album, which is set to be released later this autumn. Providing his audience with a teaser of what's to come, the narrative of this record makes us feel alive as we clasp onto the ebb and flow that makes life what it is. In this textured dimension of electronic music meets angst and longing, the bright synths pair with the rhythmic energy provided by the bass and percussion in a way that spearheads this track, catapulting you into a whimsy toast that has intentionally meant for you to reach. His poignant croons have a tasteful amount of vocal processing that allows him to fit the scope of this genre-defying bop, all while telling his narrative in an intriguing manner that has you hooked from the jump. He effortlessly makes you feel that what happens in this "clay house" stays in this "clay house," all while you want to scream it and shout it from the rooftops. "clay house" can make you feel, thanks to toast. Congratulations on the release of your latest single, "clay house." Can you tell us about the inspiration behind the title and how it relates to the theme of your new single? Over the past year and a half, I got obsessed with furniture and interior design. As I dreamt up my ideal home, I pictured soft-rounded corners, lots of art and plants, and something that looked like the cover of a play dough kit. I used that to build the song's scenario and used what my dream house would look like as the title. What emotions or experiences motivated you to create this record? How did these feelings influence the song's composition? In the midst of 2020 and being locked in with my favorite person, I wrote what would soon be the 1st verse of the song in a much slower and romantic tempo. I trashed the idea, thinking it would be too much of a predictable release at the time. Last year, I rediscovered it and revamped it into an upbeat song because the more I looked back at that time, the less scary but more happy and enjoyable was my pandemic experience. So, the switch of feelings during my reminiscence influenced it to become a joyful dance track rather than an acoustic ballad. The picturesque lyrics of "clay house" seem to be symbolic elements. Could you elaborate on the symbolism and the messages you intended to convey? It portrays a person in an unfamiliar circumstance with their favorite person in the world. It might sound like the best thing to have happened, but it can also be scary, intimidating, and nerve-wracking. Overall, it's best to make the best of these uncomfortable situations, and instead of fearing what may happen or what wrong can come out of it, you can stop for a moment and have a dance party in your living room. There's a distinct mood conveyed from this record. Can you describe the emotions you aimed to evoke through the lyrics and the music? How would you define your sound? I tried to convey a comfy, warm, and joyful mood in this track. I wanted it to sound like you and this other person were the only people left alive on earth, running out of resources and time, but decided to have a small dance party in your home quickly. I describe my sound as a nostalgic/coming-of-age soundtrack to a movie you've seen a thousand times and feel like you're the main character. What can your audience expect from your forthcoming fall album? People can expect a resolution to all the music I've released. I had been writing songs about being young forever and playing video games with my friends for years, but on this upcoming album, it'll be a more mature approach with the mindset that it's okay to grow up and not lose yourself. It's okay that you cut relationships getting there, and life looks a little different getting older. And it's also ok to go to bed by 10 pm. Instagram Twitter
