  • Chatting With Crunkspitta About New Music And Inspiration

Welcome to Buzz Music! Can you start by telling us how you got started making music? I started making music at a very young age I never knew it was so much you had to put in to it,I wasn't taught the ends and outs of the music industry so I did as I went along. Who or what inspired you to start recording and releasing your tracks? I would say all of The Hip Hop legends inspired me,I would just be rapping for hours and wonder who is listening,so I had to find a way to release and get my music in front of people and I'm still on that type of same strategy. "RidinOff (Takin Off)" is a dope track! What was the writing process like for this one? Actually "RidinOff ( Takin Off) took another route one night before it was recorded,I switched the beat which I got from a source at the last minute but still had the same lyrics and everything else after that ran it's course,Thanks to the producer who recorded it. What do you hope your listeners take away from "Get Fresh Go Hard"? It's simple Get Fresh,Go Hard,Nothing written you just got to show up and be ready,It also took some time before I can actually get that particular  record into my hands,by the way it was my first record I ever recorded,Thanks for that one you know who you are. If you had to pick just one song in your collection to adequately describe your sound, which song would you choose and why? I would personally choose "RidinOff (Takin Off)" because it's a good song,it has like a Trap sound which I can't explain, We'll let the listeners do the judging. Do you have any upcoming events or shows you'd like to talk about? What's next for you through the end of 2019? I currently do not have any upcoming events or shows at the moment,I could but right now it's crazy, for the rest of the year I plan on pushing "RidinOff (Takin Off),developing my craft and work on some studio time,I have another project in the making but still working on it.2020 should be a better year for me."I just gotta keep Grindin, and Growing"......Thank you Family and Friends. • BuzzMusic's Exclusive Interview With Kisspanic

Hi Kisspanic! Congratulations on your album "Sterotape"! What  does this release represent for you? Rudi Meibergen (Frontman): It means the beginning of a project that I've been seeking for many years. The hardest part has been to spread the word in order to build a following, to let people know about your band! (There are so many bands nowadays). Thanks to Stereotape this had been possible so far and our following and streams are constantly growing. However this is just the beginning and now we feel free to experiment more and more with our new songs. This album saw so much success in a short time. How long has this project been in the making? The band has only two years, and the making of the album took one, but all of the members have long and solid carriers before this. I think that's one of the reasons why it took off faster than most of the projects. I also think is because people was missing some new fresh alternative rock, so it was easy for us to find a space. On the other hand hispanic music it's on its boom in english speakers countries, so that also had helped. And last but no least because of the outstanding job that our agencies in USA, Mexico, Chile and South Kore have done in the las year (LA Personal Development, Cero 6, Altafonte, Sound Republica and Carlos Canales). In other words the short time success had been because of the music and circumstances, and because a lot of people is believing in the band. Can you tell us more about the meaning behind your song "Me Preocupa"? "Me Preocupa" is the story of a character that starts with him being worried about trivial stuff and having a bad time because of that. Then, while the song is progressing, he realized that his concerns were not as big as he thought and that being worried was not helpful at all. The character keeps struggling to put things on perspective in a sarcastic tone throughout the whole song. The lyrics touch many topics, from insights of very trivial things like a cloudy day, to big issues like global warming, the current socio-political situation, gun control, and the massive waste of food among many others. What was in like to walk the halls where legends have walked when you were recording at Clear Lake Recording? It was an amazing experience! The facilities are so great. It's a cozy place but at the same time it has everything you need, we felt very comfortable. Plus having Darryl Swann producing was ideal because with his experience we took the maximum advantage of the studio. At the beginning, when we were setting up and testing sound a brief thought came to my mind "Shit I'm gonna record in the same room than No Doubt and Ringo Star, I better do a good job" And a second of adrenaline captures you! But then, once you start playing your songs and getting in the zone, you forget about everything and  start enjoying the great sound of the place. What has been the most memorable moment from your days on tour? Definitely one date in México. We were playing our last single "Me Preocupa" and the earth started shaking. All of the sudden the lights went on and someone yielded at us from the audience: Stop playing! Stop! While waving his hands at the same time. First thing I thought was "It seems these people didn't like our music at all haha". But then as soon as we stop playing I felt the movement, so we had to evacuate the building! Thankfully it was not a big earthquake and after 20 mins we were playing again with the crowd even more excited than before! But I don't think I'll be able to forget that day. After your finished your tour promoting the album, what can your fans expect from you? We have a few more dates here in the US, including one this Friday 6th in The House Of Blues of Anaheim, so they are all welcome to come see our show! And after that we'll start working on new songs that we're planning to release at the end of this year. As I mentioned this is just beginning, so many new songs to come! • Croatia-Based Duo FOMENCO Can’t Resist “Your Vibes”

It’s hard to tell who FOMENCO is at the moment, since the Croatia-based producer’s true musical identity has just started to unfold and develop. Despite that, what FOMENCO is undoubtedly sure about is that it’s music will always be made with the main goal to evoke the strongest of emotions in its listeners, be it the need to tap your feet and move your body in a dance club or sit motionlessly and letting it flow. FOMENCO’s diverse musical influences range from classical music, jazz and funk to more modern producers like Calvin Harris, Mark Ronson, Mura Masa, Jax Jones and many more. Making their impressive debut with “Your Vibes”, FOMENCO creates a track that is a product of jazzy background mixed in with smooth funky house beat and a more contemporary sound. FOMENCO shows great ambition and dedication to making every aspect of this track gripping and fun to examine while at the same time preserving the simplicity of a dance club number. This piece becomes something of a highlight for its sheer structural originality and that fine balance between creativity and professionalism. Musicianship is as important as production, but this seems to get overlooked in much of modern dance-pop music. That’s far from the case with this track! Check out “Your Vibes” here and read more with FOMENCO in our exclusive interview below! Welcome to BuzzMusic! Can you start by introducing yourselves? How did you get started making music? Thanks for having me! I'm 19 year old musician and a math student from Croatia who relatively recently (about a year ago) started doing electronic music production. To be honest, I actually never imagined myself doing electronic music, especially a couple of years ago. At that time, I was a music school student, played the piano in a local jazz/funk band and was assured that the only "real" kind of music is the one performed live on "real" instruments (now I know I couldn't have been more wrong!). At one point my guitarist bandmate and I realized that we should definitely widen our musical horizons and soon found ourselves exploring a whole new world of modern electronic music we have basically never acknowledged. At that point we were confident that we want to collaborate on a dance/pop single. I started writing the song and producing it while he went on to write the lyrics - and one year later, "Your Vibes" is born! How do your musical influences inspire your sound? I think what greatly inspires my sound is my jazz background, since I played jazz for the most part of my life. Although I think the effect jazz has on the overall sound is subtle, how it affects my view of harmony is, I believe, of greater importance for me as a songwriter. Production is mainly influenced by today's modern producers, Calvin Harris for the most part (who is, in my opinion, one of the most creative yet simplistic musicians today). Can you tell us more about the meaning behind “Your Vibes”? What is your favorite lyric or musical element throughout the track? The only meaning behind the name is that the word "vibe" sounded cool when pronounced haha! Looking at the big picture, my favorite musical element is probably the chord progression. While it's almost impossible to write a completely unique chord progression today, I think the chords in "Your Vibes" are pretty exotic, despite the fact that there's only four of them! That's the reason why "Your Vibes" is not a song you will instantly fall in love with, you first gotta get to know it! What do you hope your fans take away from your music? I just want them to feel good. If I could make them move with the groove, feel hyped and euphoric with my music, that would definitely be mission accomplished! What’s next for you going through to the end of 2019? Since this is my first single, the next thing is to go on to explore and start developing my own style. I'm currently experimenting with some cool new ideas and hopefully by the end of 2019., I will have come up with something fresh! • The Quarantined Release “Shadow” In Preparation For Third EP, “Aversion To Normalcy”

The Quarantined is a punk-rock, grunge, metal band making noise out of Los Angeles, California. Using diverse genre influences and multiple lyrical styles, this band creates vivid imagery in their emotionally charged, socially critical songs that bring a personal example for awareness of global issues in society through captivating aggression. Sean Martin, Kaspars-Lucey Grinbergs and Alex Diaz met through mutual friends while looking for work as musicians, and decided to start the band in 2010. Further developing their sound through college, The Quarantined played live shows throughout Los Angeles, wherever they could. Independently owned and operated, The Quarantined is setting a new standard for DIY music on an international scale. Now on the horizon is their third EP, “Aversion to Normalcy”, yet to be released, but a “Shadow” of what is to come is displayed through this hard-hitting single. “Shadow” cascades around you with stunning guitar work, a thick wall of calming and distorted melody, and a brilliant hook. There’s a classic vibe to this that reminds me of nu-metal or pop-punk records from a decade or so ago. The band offers such honest ideas and even vulnerabilities, as well as reflections on life, and everything in between. Continuously impressing musically and vocally, “Shadow” is everything it needs to be. Conceptually interesting, emotionally appealing, and brilliantly progressive musically. The Quarantined are a band who have figured out and mastered their sound and style, “Shadow” makes for a strong introduction to that if it’s your first time hearing them. I highly recommend you check out “Shadow” and stay on the lookout for The Quarantined’s EP “Aversion To Normalcy”. Check out “Shadow” here and read more below in our chat with the band! Hey guys! How long has your EP “Aversion To Normalcy” been in the making? What can listeners expect from this much anticipated project? Hi! “Aversion to Normalcy” has been in production since November of 2017. Demos were finalized to pitch the album to the band in 2018, and we are still working on the other songs on the record, which we’ve released the song titles and lyrics to on Bandcamp. We’ve got one more song that I’m hoping we can include on the record that I just wrote, it’s a shorter song than the others (so radio friendly) but very much a grunge and blues mix of genres. For this EP listeners can expect a expansion on our sound with more intricate guitar playing, unique mixes, and layered meanings in the vocals. These songs are using more modal chord progressions than we’ve done before. We’re diving deep into the ocean of greed, apathy, disdain, and tribalism, to show the story of overcoming the adversity of life today, the journey of a soul regaining its independence from fear. Will there be a set of visuals at any point to accompany “Shadow”? Yes! We’re working together with a new film company J.A. Productions on a bunch of new videos for Free2Luv, and music videos for these new songs and for songs from Antiquate Hate. We have a lot of ideas fleshed out and are ready to be made, but we might need help from the community to make them fully realized. Can you tell us more about the meaning of the lyrics within your single? What do you hope people take away from “Shadow”? The first phrase of the verse is referencing our community struggles with mental health- “forever remembered, ever after should we wait?” I’ve known too many people who have killed themselves. Too many that could not be reached when they needed it the most, too many that have had to wait for the system to respond to its first responsibility. The 2nd “enshrine the emptiness and hate your saving grace” is speaking to removing the victim hood and learning to accept help. “Feel the shadows creeping in, no time to waste”- is recognition of the problem and that immediacy is mandatory. “Still try to run away but the fear keeps pace”- even though we know the problem, sometimes the fear is of the healing. And when we do that, it seems like the fears in your head always are one step ahead. But feelings can be deceiving. “Death will be your master”- we all gotta die sometime. “Follow you from here on after”- the fear of the unknown is taken away. “Silent whisper in vain, yet no escape”- there is no avoiding the- “Cause the shadow on my back... tells my fate.” - essentially, your shadow is how the world sees you, it is the collection of everything you have done, and it will determine how people see you, but not who you can become. While our experience informs us for the now, the future is determined by our will and discipline, how well you can embody what can and should be instead of a lackadaisical reliance on what is, to always be. The 2nd verse- “In a race with my past everyday” - if you never heal from your wounds, you’ll always be restricted by it. “Madness tempts my frantic mindstate” a statement to recognize the darkness inherent in all people. “When it takes you there’s no retreat” a commentary on the involuntary status of mental health problems- even though one might be aware they are manic, there is no retreating from being manic... without having coping mechanisms to overcome it. “My minds a cage and no one can set me free”- a cry of the helpless, of the wounded, of those in need. One that I know very well, enough to know it is not an absolute, though it feels true. Answer key- no other can set you free but yourself. No one thing will set you free either. It’s a trick that depression plays upon our minds that urges us to search for that one thing to save us- it’s a multitude of things, not just one. The song is referencing the implied tasks to healing that, when failed, create the pain spoken of in the song. These were my emotions at the time before I knew coping mechanisms and CBT. When you know the right thing to do, it’s easier to identify others not doing it, but it is the greatest strength to be able to recognize when you Yourself are letting yourself down before judging others. That’s also an aspect of this song, and a valuable and hard lesson I learned from my journey through PTSD, in-patient clinics, psych wards, and in group therapy with other veterans. Of course. All of this is the inspiration for the song- what people take away from the song is really based on what they know and can imagine. What’s your songwriting process like as a group? We’re all very versatile musicians, so we don’t have 1 process. We react to the given circumstances. So right now, we are able to song write by recording parts and sending them to each other, critiquing and remaking it until approval by all, then more refining in mixing. The other process that we do, and it happens lightning fast, is improvise together and write on the spot. This is fucking electric, and it’s why I’m wanting so badly to tour with this group we have now. Each of us has really unique strengths, and the greatest of those is knowing that no one songwriting process is better than another, so we can skip right into step in just about anything. We’re only scratching the surface of the real potential to crank out badass record after badass record, only restricted by the palate available. I can hope that we will be in a situation in which we can record together in as many songwriting processes as possible. Like, please set us up at a house with a bomb ass recording studio? What’s next for you as a band? Immediately, it’s finish the EP. Also I’m finishing up some acoustic covers that I’m putting in a collection on Bandcamp called “Bedroom Inc.” Because it’s catchy, it’s a subtle shoutout to my favorite Engineer Charlie Waymire at Ultimate Studios Inc. And because all the songs were recorded, mixed and mastered in my bedroom. We’re looking forward to shows in the local area of Tampa and LA to do fundraising shows for Free2Luv, and to support our sponsor Dirtbag Clothing, which we will have unique exclusive merch at our shows. We’re compiling up footage for documentary type short films about the processes, the adversities of being a band with members in 2 countries and 3 states, about the issues we are trying to illuminate to our society, and to get to know the band members more in general. So with the music videos on slate and the new EP, we have a very unique set of art and entertainment for our fans, one that reflects our society and inspires greatness in people by striving to change the status quo. Check out “I Adore You” here and read more with the captivating Sanía Iman below! Hey Sanía Iman! Welcome to BuzzMusic! Can you tell us about your upbringing? How did you get started in music? Hey Buzz Music! I’m so grateful to run across you guys. I’m 23 years old. I have been playing piano since the age of six, singing since the age of eight, and writing music since the age of ten. Music literally runs through my blood, my dads side of the family gave me my piano skills, my voice, my music production ears, and even my writing and acting talents! When I was about five or six, I remember my grandparents getting me a little 68 keyed keyboard. I always wondered what it was for, but then my grandma showed me exactly what it was for by taking me to piano lessons every single week. I remember the countless recitals, concerts, and competitions that are a huge part of my music upbringing. My grandpa got me into voice lessons. With him being the dean of the Graduate School of Ethnic Studies at Bowling Green State University, he knew plenty of music teachers that could coach an eight year old that never had musical training in her life. Can you dive into details about the lyricism in “I Adore You”? What inspired this track? I absolutely love explaining the journey behind this song. It comes from a place of pain that turns into love and comfort. In all honesty, my fiancé and I were having a disagreement one day, and once I received some moments alone I was able to ponder on what I adore most about him. I was also able to take some time away from the world and put some new song writing training into motion. My fiancé, Elitenment, who happens to be a music artist himself, was my inspiration for “I Adore You.” This song can be perceived in a very universal way and that’s understanding self love. This is a self love song because I do believe that you can’t love somebody if you don’t love yourself. I was able to speak from one of the biggest soft spots in my heart on this one. Elitenment has received another song like this from me back at the beginning of our relationship, but this has been named “the wedding song” in our music community due to me first explaining that “I Adore You” is our wedding song. Where is the best setting to listen to your songs, and what do you hope people take away from them? The music I make can be listened to in any setting. I seem to have different music for different settings, depending on what the vibe is. I would personally listen to my songs when I’m in the car, running errands, hanging out with Elitenment, or even chilling by myself! I have many more songs to release to the world, and I hope that people take away the gift of self love. Most of my lyrics are written in a very affirming way. When you sing along with me, you’ll notice yourself feeling uplifted. What’s the best thing that could happen for you as an artist right now? The best thing that could happen for me as an artist right now in this moment, is receiving a music placement. I’ve been on a trek searching for music licensing companies like it’s a full time job. What other projects are you working on through the end of 2019? I have a couple EPs I’m working on since I've only been putting singles out to start. I’m working on an EP which name I can’t reveal right now, it’s completely written and produced so it is in the process of being recorded. I have many other small projects coming out very soon as well as some large projects. I write and curate for a music blog that can help other music artist soar and reach their goals. I also wish I could drop all four of my EPs that I'm working on now. My plan is to relocate to LA to continue inspiring the world with my songs as well as keep the media professionals paid. • Mashawi Discusses His New EP "Rise N Shine" In Exclusive Interview

Hey there Mashawi! Amazing that we get a chance to catch up! How has the music world been for you thus far? I must say it's been pretty good thus far, but it never stops. In this industry you are always working on yourself and trying to improve what you can with whatever connections and resources you have. You always have to do your research, figure out your next moves and be ten steps ahead. As an musician, you are always learning about new things you never thought of and don't be afraid to make mistakes. You learn from them. Congrats on your latest EP release of "Rise N Shine"! How did you feel your sound executed within the entire album? Were there creative challenges on your end when curating? Thank you so much! Well, this is my first studio recording ever and I did everything on my own budget. The sound came together very organically, I did my research for beats and a couple producers contacted me and then I wrote to the beats I was feeling. I am happy with the sound because its me, but you will always change and grow your sound with more experience and with a great team. There are always creative challenges when putting your artwork together for release. For example, I had to rerecord, remix and remaster a couple of the tracks on the album because it wasn't up to par with what I had imagined. And you need a good studio engineer and producer to give you that sound and push to produce your best work. What do you think sets apart your new EP from music you first started creating when you started out in music? I feel my EP is more of me, but still at the beginning of a long and wonderful music career. I would say I have stepped up my game with more qualified producers and sound engineers because that is key to the process. And now I am working with some great songwriters because its always good to broaden your songwriting skills and get different perspectives. Having a diverse life experience will help develop your music from the heart and make it that real. "Run Up" is going to be your latest single release after the EP! How are you feeling about the way this particular track was executed in the end? Yes it is! I just create the music and send it out into the universe, hoping to inspire others. And I try to promote as much as possible on my own by social media, doing shows etc and just really getting the music out there. It can be difficult at times, but don't give up there's always an ear listening. What kind of ultimate goals do you have for yourself as an artist? Well, for me once I'm involved in something I dive right in. And this is my passion so, I would like to do a world tour, selling out arenas, win Grammy's, inspire billions of people through my music, change lives, and use my International Studies Degree to make a positive international change for everyone. I'm a big dreamer. Check out Mashawi's latest music here! Stay connected with Mashawi through social media: www.instagram.com/mashawimusic #BuzzMusic

  • Shanaaz Captivates With New Single “Addicted”

Toronto born recording artist Shanaaz, creates smooth R&B/ Neo-soul music infused with aspects of trap. Shanaaz pours her heart and soul into her music and this is evident through her mature sound and emotive lyricism. After a brief hiatus, she is back and better than ever with her single “Addicted”. Currently, Shanaaz is actively working on the writing and recording of her debut album! The much-anticipated project is expected to be released in 2020. “Addicted” presents a somewhat nostalgic yet brilliantly crisp and infectious sense of rhythm. The contagious beat and backdrop layout a colorful soundscape. Meanwhile, this unexpected wind-driven riff floats around in the outer edges, building a broader arena of warmth for the harmonically rich vocals. “Addicted” is musically entrancing and melodically complex yet fun to listen to. There is plenty going on, the various stages work hard to keep you interested and entertained, and meanwhile, the dreamlike backdrop calms and comforts. When the music falls away and it’s just Shanaaz’ voice, the song reaches an absolute peak. There’s a refreshing touch of individuality to this performance and this unique fusion of genres. It’s clear, genre and style don’t confine Shanaaz. The songwriting and a love for music, in general, are what drives the creation of these tracks. The upcoming album is undoubtedly one worth holding out for. Listen to “Addicted” here and read more with Shanaaz below! Shanaaz! Welcome to BuzzMusic! How did you get started in the music industry? Thanks for having me. Music and singing have always been a huge part of my life and I’ve always known that I wanted to be a singer. After high school I took the safe route and went to College for Event Management and Tourism. During that time, I started writing songs and working with a producer who was a friend of mine. My first song was an EDM track, which is funny because I mainly do R&B and hiphop now. After understanding the process of that I was able to work with other producers in the industry and learn more about myself and they type of artist I wanted to be. To date, I have 5 singles out along with the ADDICTED music video, and more to come! What does “Addicted” mean to you? What do you want your listeners to take away from it? Addicted is a song I wrote after meeting someone I had an extremely strong connection with. It was something I’ve never experienced before so I was head over heels for them. They were all I could think about and all I wanted. It felt like an addiction. The only problem was that they didn’t feel the same about me. Rejection is a hard pill to swallow, and even when you know that this person isn’t right for you or that the way you’re feeling is irrational, it’s so hard to get over it. I just want my listeners to be able to relate to my situation. It always helps when you know you’re not alone. The story of my failed relationship continues in my next releases. What was your inspiration for the Addicted music video? After this unfortunate case of rejection, I let myself sulk for a few weeks, but then I got myself back up and decided I needed to get back into full bad bitch mode. This video shows myself in a confident light and although something unfortunate happened, I wasn’t going to forget the person I am. I gathered a bunch of looks together on Pinterest that were “bad and bougie” and took inspiration from them. I am fortunate enough to have a friend who is an interior designer (@_luxurydecor_), so I got the chance to shoot at his place where the theme is bougieness all the way, including studio lighting and props (along with his little black cat “Scarlette” who makes an appearance). For the last scene in my video I collaborated with an artist named Whyishnave (@whyishnave) who created the beautiful Bengal Tiger from string and nails. The Bengal tiger is a symbol of strength which is what I wanted to end the music video with. Was there a specific event/person in your life that made you get into music/ start recording your material? Yes, one person who had guided me through this whole process and who is still guiding me is my vocal teacher Alyssia Liang. She has tremendously helped with my vocal development and writing. I wouldn’t say she got me into music but she more so guided me and was a second ear or me to play my songs for along with giving me advice on industry problems I was unsure of. She also introduced to me to a great producer, Akeel Henry, who she went to Metalworks Institution of Sound with. Akeel is one of my greatest connections as he totally understands my style of music, makes sure to keep me motivated, has given me great advice and is exquisite at his craft. He’s produced most of my songs to date and I’m excited to release what we are creating now. For new artists breaking into the industry, I would definitely recommend trying to find a mentor, or someone who has more experience. There’s just so much to know and it definitely helps to have someone by your side. What can listeners expect from your upcoming album? My album will be a short story of my life in the past year. It has a lot of different moods such as vulnerability, loneliness, optimism, being in love and being heart broken. There is something in it for every one to relate to and enjoy including tracks you can cry to and tracks that will make you want to pop your booty. I’m super excited for it since it is my first album and major project. Connect with Shanaaz on social media for all new music and updates: www.instagram.com/shnaz_ #BuzzMusic

  • Catching Up With Tino Cruze

Hey Tino! Happy Belated Birthday! How’s 2019 been for you so far? What have you been working on? 2019 has been a crazy year. I am currently working on releasing a mixtape and hopefully a lot of other content but for now just taking it one song at a time We’re loving your new track “Get A Bag”! What’s this release represent for you? It represents growth and the start of new more mature music. It’s been a while since I’ve released music just trying to show how much better I’ve gotten Was there a specific reason you dropped it on your birthday? Because the song is a fun record. I’ve been playing this song a lot over the past few months and i wanted to start with some brand new content It wasn’t long since we’ve last featured your music! How do you stay on track to create relevant content so consistently? I have honestly struggled with consistency simply because it can get pretty expensive but I’ve built up a pretty nice catalog so this year i will have more music to release for people Where is the best setting to listen to “Get A Bag”, and what do you hope people take away from it? The car so you can hear everything. I feel like it’s more of an experience in the car. I hope people just use it as motivation whether it’s at the gym or just riding to work or school everyday. Something that makes you want to do better in life What are the main values you hope to represent as an artist? I’m just trying to remain humble and keep putting out quality content. These days a lot of music just lacks content a lot of rap songs have the same message or the artist talk about the same things. I’m just trying to show that you can still make quality music Listen to "Get A Bag" by Tino Cruze here! www.instagram.com/tinocruze www.facebook.com/RealTinoCruze www.twitter.com/tinocruze #BuzzMusic

  • Zack Ultra Updates BuzzMusic With Latest New Music

Welcome back to BuzzMusic Zack Ultra! It wasn’t long since we’ve last featured your music! How do you stay on track to create relevant content so consistently? I just love to create, most importantly I love to create music. I'm finishing my first studio album titled ULTRA. So with this album, the content is a different vibe, deep, with new energy; I like to stay different do what's not being done or take what's being done to ULTRA LEVEL. With the last interview, my single TRAP TRAP TRAP TRAP TRAP is on the Ruff Dimmins Presents Zack Ultra EP. The purpose of that EP was to serve it as an appetizer to show people what's to come and how I evolved as an artist. With my music now I'm being completely me and completely free, letting it all flow naturally, and not concerning myself with what's trending or what's hot. I'm not here to set trends, I'm here to set the new standard. What can you tell us about your much-anticipated debut album? Do you have an official release date? The album will be title "ULTRA" because it's my last name, my way of life, the level I evolved to. This will be me telling my story, I'm getting personal on this project, speaking on life experiences and my point of views. There things in my life that my mom, wife, and family don't know happened to me. With that being said; NO! this is not a depressing album, I'm creating a new vibe. So it will be fun, deep, euphoric, sad, motivating, and maybe a completely left field. (LOL) No release date yet, but I want to release it around my birthday in early February 2020 (Aquarius Season). I'm not rushing this, but If I'm done by then I most certainly will release it. We’re bumping your latest track “Honey Mustard Drip” through the office! Can you dive into the meaning of the lyrics? First; I unconditionally love honey mustard, it's my favorite condiment. I don't use ketchup, regular mustard, I prefer it over BBQ sauce, salad dressing, etc. Secondly; I love gold and lately I find myself loving gold, even more, not just the metal but the color as well. The feel and meaning of gold. The color Gold is a passion, wisdom, magic (yes I believe in God), and strength, courage, compassion, love, and to illuminate. As for the metal; God is a precious and unique metal, represents prosperity, wealth, light, and grandeur. So, when I say "my skin dark gold, but you call it black...." I mean that $hit. What has been one of your most memorable or life-changing achievements as an artist so far? Just being able to release music that sounds and see people vibe to it is an achievement in itself. Having the talent to do it is a true blessing, any time I'm in the studio creating is a memorable moment. To answer the question with a particularly memorable or life-changing achievement, I would have to say the Honey Mustard Drip release party. I linked Opromo365 for my first ever single release party at The Cigar Village in East Atlanta Village. The party was a success; great crowd, lit vibes, and nothing but amazing feedback from hearing the song. When I performed HMD, the crowd was singing "Gold on Me" the part of the hook where I'm harmonizing. To hear people singe my song is a memorable moment and life-changing achievement because now I know that what I'm doing is working and continue to work. So I have more parties on the way to help promote the upcoming album. What are your thoughts on mainstream hip hop at present, and your hopes for the genre going forward? I think mainstream Hip-Hop is doing well now. I'm seeing and hearing more versatility, not just one sound or the same idea over and over. I hope to be one of the most influential icons of Hip-Hop, to be part of the continuous evolution of Hip-Hop. Because Hip-Hop is steadily evolving, and as a pure music junkie. I LOVE IT! Besides music, what other creative projects are you working on? Well, Fall of 2018 I launched my clothing brand EVOLVE by Zack Ultra, a brand influenced by my music. The purpose of the brand is to inspire and show evolution, to be a leader of evolution, and to look great while doing it. I do all the designs; which are inspired by songs I have released, and some songs have a full collection, for example, Honey Mustard Drip. I have shirts, jackets, hats, shoes, bags, artwork, phones cases, etc. Evolve by Zack Ultra online store is exclusively on http://www.zackultra.com. On 4/20/2019 I did a soft launch for my cannabis brand Ultradam at an event called Potlanta with Litt Network. I dropped the song "Ultradam," stash jars, and edibles from my "Baked Goods" brand. This was a total success as well, we sold half of the merch, and people enjoyed the song. The future of Ultradam will be Ultradam Grow our grow house to grow our strains, rolling papers and pre-rolled cones, more from Baked Goods, and Ultrdam University (where you can go learn about cannabis for free) via http://www.zackultra.com. Nearly six years ago I started my non-profit T.U.F (Team Ultra Foundation), where I have an annual Ultra Christmas Toy Drive. Now, we have added a program called "you don't have to starve, where we donate food to struggling families and the homeless. We are planning on adding more events and programs to give and uplift all communities. We are always looking for volunteers who want to join and have great ideas, just visit http://www.zackultra.com. • Rapper Admiral Boasts Lyrical Depth With New Album “Decorated”

Born and raised in the Soundview section of the Bronx and the Founder /CEO of Glory Ave Entertainment, talented artist, Admiral is regarded as one NYC's best up and coming lyricists and well as one of its bright young business minds. Rapping began as a hobby for Admiral to pass the time, but after some convincing from his peers, he joined an up and coming rap group called BXC. The group worked the underground circuit independently for years before deciding to disband in the summer of 2009. Following leaving the group Admiral took a short hiatus before making the decision to resume his career as a solo act. With many singles and album under his belt, Admiral shows no signs of slowing down with the release of his latest album “Decorated”. Admiral’s album “Decorated” kicks off with a narrated two minute “Intro”, and then quickly explodes into the title track. With a haunting and slow start “Decorated” develops into a retrospective anthem. Admiral digs right into contemporary turmoil and seeks to inspire and motivate with this album release, drawing you in from afar with some of the most intriguing artwork to emerge in recent years, and quickly sealed the deal with an opening track that directly and unabashedly addresses his desired audience in an open, honest way. “King Talk” is exactly what its title promises and Admiral delivers with natural confidence and heart. He has a certain tone and vocal style that’s easy to acclimatize to and recognize. That voice becomes a comforting thread amidst an otherwise chaotic and creatively experimental, industrial soundscape. “Movin” is creatively free and spacious yet again, but rhythmic enough to build a sense of togetherness in the room. The album often feels like a poetry slam session, carefully crafted on top of a series of mildly tribal, minimalist musical performances. There’s always a strong beat to connect with. “One Man Military” stands out for its louder confidence, rhythm, and energy once again. Admiral takes full advantage of the opportunity to perform and enjoy himself, and it shows well. As the album goes on, there are a fair few instances of fun, juxtaposed cleverly with those that are notably more thoughtful and deep. Admiral leaves nothing unsaid, and that makes the experience a heavy yet worthy one. It’s also easy to visualize a live performance and your focus would rightfully be on the vocalist. “Echoes of the Back Blocks” Ft. Deuce Biggs, Statuzz & Michelle Singz is a mighty track, creatively unique for its fine fusion of classic hip hop beats, melody and rap, piano softness and mildly distorted swagger. Up next is “In the Beginning” Ft. Hop Cashay, Berry Antoine & Michelle Singz this collaborative gathering doesn’t purely showcase the best of every artist’s abilities, it holds close to an underlying sentiment that seems to remind you to hold loyalty close, don’t settle for less. “Rear View Mirror” Ft. Mic Massive is not only a great track, produced to the highest quality, it’s also a bold and striking introduction to the artist featured within. Despite the multilayered soundscape and the seemingly organized chaos of the arrangement, no moment is wasted, every bar is on point and impressively crafted. As far as contemporary hip hop goes, “Heaven” manages to effectively walk the line between the classic and the new. Offering that crisp and honest clarity, that professionalism, and that crucial moment of melody, as well as appearing with style and a new series of story-telling moments. While there are definite threads throughout much of this music Admiral has a style that’s authentically his. “Evolution” is a bold example, distorted and angst-driven, and fast-paced. “The Gods” keeps things real and raw as Admiral speaks his truth through their incredible music. The hip-hop sound is unlike anything we’ve heard before and is a welcome addition to our playlists. “Carry On” comes in will mellow backbeats and melancholic vocals. The verses feature hard-hitting bars and emotive lyricism. Admiral creates a relatable track to form more authentic connections with his listeners. Admiral is doing his own thing entirely, and for all of these reasons and more, “Decorated” is a brilliantly refreshing album that’s all at once distant from the mainstream and desperate to connect. Check out the full album here and read more with Admiral below! Welcome to BuzzMusic Admiral! "Decorated" has many layers and different concepts. What’s the overall theme you were trying to achieve with this album? The title itself is an ode to a war survivor from the streets who's lived to narrate his story. It a nutshell it is my autobiography set to music. What do you hope your listeners take away from "Decorated"? My main goal of this project was to give connect with the listener on a personal level. My hope was for the people to connect with my story and appreciate the lyricism and production. "Decorated" features many collaborations! How did these come about? I really enjoy creating collaborations. Most of the projects I have been involved with have always been collaborative. In regards to the album, the collaborations are a collection of artists and producers whose talent I have respected over the years. If you had to pick just one song in your collection to adequately describe your sound, which song would you choose and why? It's a tough choice but I would have to say "One Man Military". That record really personifies my sound. I see my self as a motivational speaker on the track who delivers reality rap to the people with skill. What do you hope to achieve as a hip-hop artist through the end of 2019? I would like to land a tour by the end of the year and complete recordings for my next project......Continue to grow my fan base and build the Glory Ave Entertainment brand. www.facebook.com/ADMIRALX1 www.twitter.com/Admiral11 www.instagram.com/admiral11
