- “Mistake” Is A Heartfelt Tune Written By LA-based Songwriter, Micah
Micah is an artist that was born in Jackson, Mississippi and moved to Los Angeles, California about ten years ago to pursue his path in the music industry. First, he met a fellow musician by the name of Alisan Porter and started a band called The Raz. They played all over Los Angeles for a couple years, but eventually they got caught up with other projects and broke up. Following this, Micah started writing songs with one of his best friends, Rhett Fisher. They formed an alternative rock band called Manic Mind, and quickly found a manager and investor, leading to a record deal and recording their debut album. Unfortunately, the album for one reason or another was shelved and didn’t see the light of day. After going their separate ways, Micah collaborated again on and off, finally deciding to go it on his own with his own solo project. “Mistake” is Micah’s recently released single. This is a song in which there is nothing to hide behind, with a simple acoustic and vocal arrangement. Micah’s vocal talents stand out immediately, with a voice that is obviously made for music. The introduction of the song sets an initially somber mood, which soon picks up slightly with the introduction of the drums and the more uplifting chorus. The lyrics themselves are delivered with skill and a heartfelt sincerity. An electric guitar weaves in and out of the vocal lines of the chorus, showcasing Micah’s maturity in arrangement and subtlety. Further to the electric guitar’s participation in this song, there is a wonderfully tasteful solo in the middle that breaks up the song before the final choruses come in. Just as beautifully as the song started up, it winds down gradually with the drums disappearing for the last part. The vocal harmonies that permeate through this song provide a fantastically rich texture over the simple instrumentation. Overall, “Mistake” is a truly great and well written song that shows a sense of maturity and taste from Micah. We are excited to see what the future brings for this talented rising star. Don't forget to check out "Mistake" here, and continue reading for Micah's interview with us at BuzzMusic! Thank you for taking the time to answer a few questions! To begin, can you dive into what your upbringing was like and how you first became interested in music? I can remember as a child my dad was always playing Elvis and Willie Nelson records. So before I could even speak I was exposed to greatness. You mention that you moved from Jackson, Mississippi to Los Angeles, California. What was that transition like, and what did you first notice about the difference in the music scenes between these two cities? It was basically like moving to another planet. There wasn’t really a music scene in Jackson some local bands got me interested in playing guitar. Like my sister Christina’s boyfriend Jason was in this band called (The Wrinkled ) They were awesome! Then when I got to Los Angeles it was like holy shit ! I can get in a band and potentially play these legendary venues The Whiskey, The Viper Room. That was pretty mind blowing at first when it came to fruition. Who would you say are your biggest musical influences? Jimi Hendrix,Billy Corgan, Willie Nelson, Jerry Garcia and Dave Matthews Your new single, “Mistake”, seems like a great of example of beautiful simplicity. Can you talk to us a bit about your process for writing “Mistake”? Thank you.. Yes it was just one of those times when you get lucky and it just flows, ten minutes later you have all of the parts. Nothing forced no over thinking. 2am whispering the melody into the voice memo app on my phone. What can we hope to see from Micah in 2019 and beyond? Just signed to an indie label (Cascade Music Group) I’ll be working on my first E.P hope to release in the fall. Also I’m going start playing some shows around L.A in late June. - Elijah XIII Has Mastered Lyrical Flow With “Lonely Nights”
At 9 years old Elijah XIII started writing his first rap which was a dormant energy that he had carried with him his entire life but wasn’t something he saw for himself as a reality until his junior year of high school. This is when he started going harder for what he wanted and for Elijah, “being an artist is not something you ‘become’, instead it is something that has always been in me”. With an objective as a collective to elevate the minds and change the perspective of our youth, his ultimate goal is bigger than music but that, as the future, our youth learn to think for themselves and to follow their passion without compromising their vision. Elijah’s artistry has always helped him with his life journey because it has kept him focused on the bigger picture – “No matter how bad life gets, my pursuit of happiness has never been altered and the vision remains the same. If it wasn’t for music, I’m sure I would have gotten stuck at some point in life.” Elijah XIII is dropping some fantastic rhymes in this laid-back track “Lonely Nights” that has beats that are easy to jam to and have a touch of eeriness to them that help paint a picture of being alone. If you listen to the story that is being drawn through the lyrics and the emotion that can be heard with each note as they slowly intensify you can really get an idea of the big picture, almost like a letter to his girl or an apology. I’m a big fan of timeless rap songs that capture the artist’s meaning like “Lonely Nights” does, and how the different layers of this track show off the talent and finesse that ElijahXIII is capable of. The tone of Elijah’s voice is low and has remnants of artists like Kanye and Drake and it relaxes you with the complements of the electric and keyboard sounds accompanying his sultry deep voice. I love the little “act” at the beginning of the song where Elijah is just talking, a technique that artists like Tech N9ne and Dr. Dre use that adds a bit more understanding to the lyrical meaning. Overall “Lonely Nights” is a track that you don’t want to stop listening to and that will get your head bobbing. Check "Lonely Nights" out here, as well as Elijah's personalized interview below! Follow Elijah XIII on his Instagram to be kept updated with recent releases! #BuzzMusic Hey Elijah XII! Pleasure chatting with you! Can you tell us a bit more about yourself? First thing’s first, my name is Elijah XIII haha but don’t worry I’m not taking any offense. People are always surprised to hear that I was born Jacksonville, Arkansas. Other than being a recording artist, I am a photographer, videographer, event curator, host, & altogether entrepreneur. I have a few platforms launching 2019. Can’t wait to share with you all! What is the meaning behind “Lonely Nights”? Lonely Nights basically dives into the emotions of Elijah XIII. I am expressing my feelings to an “ex” girl that I understand the frustration of what it’s like to deal with someone like me, while putting out the idea that we can rekindle a relationship that doesn’t necessarily have to be sexual or romantic; hence “I was thinking we can kick it you can leave on your clothes this time.” What inspired you to create such a timeless yet unique sound? Before anything, it was the production that immediately took me in a trans; I instantly heard melodies followed by the lyrics. S/o to Prod. Flip. Honestly this song was inspired by real emotions. To this day I’ve never been in a relationship & at the time, I had just had a falling out with the closest thing I’ve ever had to a “girlfriend”. It’s been a couple months that we haven’t spoke to each other & closure was something we never accomplished, so this song was the manifestation of the lingering thoughts & emotions I experienced every night, knowing she feels the same. Did you listen to rap growing up and what artists have shaped the music that you create today? Growing up I definitely listened to a lot of rap music. I honestly don’t feel like I was really in tune to music so much growing up & that my experiences & surrounding energy is the reason music i create today. I have been influenced by all genres of music because that word to me means so much more than the word, or A word. What can we expect to see from you in 2019? I am so excited for this year! I really won’t get into much detail because there’s so much going on, It can be another article! Expect visuals & Elijah XIII’s first project to drop. Alongside myself is an incredible team, UNINVITED. Be on the look out for Araaz, Quataee, Ish, BLVCKWÖLF & Cros! We will be taking the industry by surprise.
- Find Your Inner Fire With Ibby VK’s “Fire In Me”
Ibby VK is a 24 year old Pop, Folk, Indie and Acoustic singer/songwriter. The Dubai native originally was in school for chemical engineering but he soon realized his true passion, making music. Although his family is unaware and this make things extremely hard for Ibby VK, he takes his hardships and pain and turns them into something truly spectacular. His style ranges from your standard love ballad, to self-acceptance, signature break-up songs and death. Not only is he an incredible writer but he prides himself on his simplistic approach to live performances. When on stage you’ll find him with his guitar, his loop pedal, and not much else except his charisma and alluring stage presence. He recently dropped a more upbeat single, which Ibby himself admits is out of the normal for him, but we are loving it! “Fire In Me” is a fresh track about finding ambition and drive within ourselves. Coming from an artist who dropped everything to pursue music this hold an astounding amount of weight. Ibby VK works tirelessly to achieve his goals and nothing can break him. Throughout “Fire In Me” the consistent theme is that sometime you have to reach the bottom to find the strength within yourself. The defining line of the song is "I've got no inspiration except these tears and one man nation looking back at me, and I see, this Fire In Me". This resonates with me because it represents being completely alone and relying solely on yourself for that push to get you going. Ibby VK really shows his vulnerability in this song if you hone in on all of the lyrics but the upbeat and catchy melody keep things light and positive and inspiring. Overall I think that Ibby VK wants to spread the message that we all have a fire in us and if he was abe to find his without any help from anyone around him, then we can too. I love the beat on this track, it’s addicting lyrics and important message are why it will be a hit. Check out “Fire In Me” here and read more with Ibby VK in our exclusive interview below! Hey Ibby! Can you start by introducing yourself and telling the readers how you created the stage name Ibby VK? Hey! I go by the name Ibby, I'm Armenian/Syrian, born and raised in Dubai. I consider myself a songwriter before being an artist and I have no idea what genre my music falls under as I've written everything from Pop and EDM to Rock and Singer-Songwriter Folk and RnB stuff. The stage name Ibby VK is just short for my full name Ibrahim Vaskin Karakar... it's hard I know haha, hence the short version. But everyone calls me Ibby. Your song “Fire In Me” is so inspiring. Can you describe your live performance with this more upbeat song as opposed to most of your other slower songs? I'm so glad you asked about the live version. Firs and foremost, I do not make music for people to just enjoy listening to, I tailor the songs to be as engaging and as captivating as possible when seen live. I have to make sure the fans get their money's worth otherwise I have done a bad job. FIM is like you said one of the few upbeat songs that I have so it's a pretty cool switch up during a live set, I've seen kids aged 8 and seniors aged 80 dance and bop along to the beat subconsciously, and when you get a reaction like that from people who don't know your song and aren't in your targeted demographic is an extraordinary feeling. But I get real ecstatic when people start singing and dancing along to the song, especially the breakdown... you really need to experience this one live to understand the feeling. It's something else! How do you continue to feed your passion for music? I don't feed it at all. It's fully self sustained and it's amazing but scary at the same time. When I get writers block or something, I just wait it out and knowing with all certainty that I'm going to finish that song when I get back to it, but it's scary because I don't know what I would do if one day I wake up and it's not there. But again, the live shows, that feeling of people reacting to your work, the crowd, fans, and the support, are a huge driving force when it comes to passion. Who are you biggest influences artistically? It would take you a second and a half to know that my live show is mostly inspired by Ed Sheeran haha. But sonically and lyrically, anything from Metallica & Eminem to whatever is on today like Bieber, Lauv & One Direction is an influence really. Linkin Park, Hollywood Undead, and Avenged Sevenfold are bands that have taken up most of my listening time. Can we expect a new EP with this new single? HELL YEAH! The plan after FIM is to release a song that I've done with another talented artist for a Redbull X Careem project, then maybe a FIM video followed by the EP "One Man Nation" which is a lyric from FIM, and that's going to include 5 songs, 3 of which are unreleased yet, including my favorite song on the EP which you will definitely love if you're into heartbreak/ballad/acoustic type songs. - Contemporary R&B Artist Miyal Johnson Drops “What You Like”
Miyal Johnson is an R&B artist from Houston, Texas. His style is smooth and addicting. A talented vocalist, Miyal released his first single “Take Control” in June of 2017 and it accumulated 3000 streams in one day! He started quickly gaining attention and dropped his second single “Nights In Miami” shortly after. Miyal Johnson launched his debut EP titled “Nocturnal-EP” which features his newest single “What You Like”. “What You Like” is a flawless R&B hit. The slow deliberate backbeat and echoing synths remind me of The Weeknd’s sound, but Miyal Johnson is more original than that. The melancholy and emotion in his tone takes on a striking physicality. The girl he sings about in the song is a girl he wants to get with. He describes that she's out with her homegirls, craving attention. Miyal sings “You want somebody that’s gon’ love you, but don’t want you, because that past relationship.. that shit still haunts you” to show the fragility of broken relationships as a key point for uncovering subtle textures in his sound. He is able to paint a picture in our minds through his skilled lyricism and layered vibes. I love this single because it’s easy to chill to but you allows you to escape into the lyrics and sound. I highly recommend checking out “What You Like” and the entire collection of “Nocturnal-EP” available on all major streaming platforms. Stay on the lookout for Miyal Johnson! Give a listen to "What You Like" here, and don't forget to check out Miyal's interview below! What’s the theme of your EP “Nocturnal-EP”? Nocturnal is an EP that has a roller coaster of emotion that goes into depth about personal situations that I’ve gone through that I feel everyone can relate to. Packed with powerful messages and gives the feeling of heartache, depression, anger, and unworthiness. Can you recall the first song you ever wrote? How would you compare it to your writing abilities now? My first song I wrote was my second single I came out with titled “Nights In Miami”. In which I wrote that song about my experiences being in Miami. At the same time I wrote over 80 songs while writing “Nights In Miami. I’ve always took pride in my writing and try to be as detailed as possible so the listener can really picture what I’m talking about. So I feel that my writing style hasn’t changed from that aspect but as far as maturing and being able to write about different situations; I feel like I really grew in that area. What are some challenges you faced while writing “What You Like”? There was really no challenge in writing the song because I could perfectly write about the two different situations; I feel like the only challenge I had was merging the two situations in one song. In your music career so far, what would you say your most proud of? My growth. Being able to see my mindset from when I first came out as an artist to now it has been a lot of growth. I’m able to write and make music about deeper situations, being able to cater to different audiences, and making music that everyone can enjoy and relate to. I know one day I am going to be the most influential artist in the world. So me just knowing that and being able to keep growing and maturing and most importantly influence others positively. That’s probably the things I am most proud of. Get connected with Miyal Johnson via the artists socials: Instagram Twitter #BuzzMusic

Every since I was little I have had severe anxiety and nothing could calm me down; until I started writing songs! It is my way to escape and put my thoughts into something amazing. Tell us about your single “Note to Self”! What was the creation process like? Note To Self started out as just an idea and I didn’t know if I was even going to produce it. - Craymo Releases Heartfelt Single "Take It Slow"
Craymo was born Craig Stephen Raymo in Massena, New York and grew up in nearby Ogdensburg, a quiet little city on the St. Lawrence River bordering Canada. Growing up with a passion for music and feeling the call of the big city, Craig left college and moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams. He soon landed acting gigs in the TV soap operas General Hospital and Days Of Our Lives, most recently in The Watchman’s Edict (2017), The Misadventures of Walt’s Frozen Head (2017) and the HBO original film Recount. All the while focused on his music, Craymo wrote hundreds of songs and started recording demos in Los Angeles recording studios. He made it big as released many singles and had so much success. If his name sounds familiar it’s because he wrote “One Love One World” which became a worldwide phenomenon being featured on the United Nations project UNESCO web site. His most recent release “Take It Slow” is about exactly what the title insists. Craymo unfortunately lost his father in May 2018 and this song is dedicated to him. The catchy pop/EDM track will have you dancing in your seat. I love the positive and meaningful message behind all of Craymo’s lyricism. “Love to live, and live to love” is my favorite lyric throughout the entire song. It’s such a simple and raw meaning but so hard for some people to do nowadays. We all need to focus on slowing down because time is flying by. We need appreciate the ones we love, make mistakes and live life to the absolute fullest. Craymo strives the spread this light-hearted message of positivity throughout the world. I highly recommend checking out this incredible song and the fun-loving music video to accompany it is best part. It’s evident that Craymo practices what he preaches when you see the entertaining side of him come through in the video. Overall it’s an addicting song and an awesome new single from Craymo, we can’t wait to see what he delivers next! Check out “Take It Slow” here. Read more with Craymo in our exclusive interview below! Hi Craig! We love your new song “Take It Slow”. Can you tell us what the writing process was like? I usually start with a hook or melody in my head. With Take It Slow it was a saying my Dad used a lot while I was growing up. It was my very first single as an artist that I wanted to re-record and re-create for my Dad. He loved all the old soul R&B singers of the 60’s so I did it with that vocal styling. My Dad got to hear the new version before he passed last May.He told me it was his favorite song that I have ever recorded! What’s the meaning behind the music video? The video and song are about life in the fast lane. It’s a reminder to slow down and enjoy life, to live in the moment. I wanted it to have a fun, playful spirit because that’s what my Dad was. He brought good vibes and a fun, positive attitude wherever he went. It’s a tribute to the greatest man in my life. The very end of the video I am standing in Cranberry Lake in the Adirondack Mountains in upstate NY in front of a large piece of driftwood. That is the lake my Dad lived on. How do you continue to encourage your passion for music day to day? Music lifts my spirit. It is my therapy. Music has been the one constant through my whole life and has helped me deal with everything that life throws at you. Music makes me happy. What’s your stage presence like when you perform, for someone who hasn’t seen you live yet? I like to engage the crowd and get them to escape their troubles for a little while and enjoy themselves. I want them to feel my passion and I want to feel theirs. When you're not making music, what do you do? I am also a professional actor having performed in films, TV shows and commercials. I also work at Walt Disney World in Florida at an interactive themed 50’s restaurant as Cousin Craig! Follow up with Craymo via the artists socials: Facebook Instagram Twitter #BuzzMusic
- Domanic Rincones Releases "On Gawd"
Domanic Rincones originates from Seattle Washington and has a lust for life kind of attitude. He is half Mexican and half white which produces his pretty boy rapper image. Domanic has multiple tracks on his Soundcloud and will get you bopping to his slick beats and lyrics made for sorority girls and parties. The songs are heavily inspired by the norms of stereotypical college life of partying, girls, and having a good time. He is currently working new tracks and a music video for his track, “On Gawd”. Domanic already emits his laidback vibe with the beginning instrumental as he breaks into his verses. The piano melody and effects eventually go into what would probably be considered the chorus. Repeating the title “On Gawd” is so catchy and will be your go-to party anthem. Domanic easily transitions into his lyrics that are witty and explicit. His flow is extremely smooth and he is very aware of it and takes advantage of every second in the track. Like most rappers, he is able to show his ego and confidence but does it in a way that his listeners will take as empowering when listening to it. It is no question as to why Domanic has over 8,000 listens on this track alone with his other tracks hitting the same range or higher. - NEW MUSIC: Experience Raw Emotion In Zach Mackey’s Newest Single “Come Closer”
Zach Mackey, born in 1995, is an emotionally-rich singer/songwriter/producer. Originally from Virginia, Zach recently relocated to Southern California to pursue his music career more seriously. Not only is Zach Mackey ambitious, but he's educated. He graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) with his BM in Music Composition from Dr. Michael Rothkopf. While recovering from a broken heart of his own, Zach strives to create music that connects with humans on another level. "As an artist, [Mackey] imagines his music through fundamental human narratives. His approach, always, is to connect his listener to their innate humanity." - Michael Rothkopf His raw emotion and powerful lyricism and sound is a shot straight the heart in his newest single “Come Closer”. It features intones about the vast loneliness of being stuck inside your own mind. Zach Mackey’s vocals are low and alluring. We see his expansive range throughout the new track and it leaves us craving more. Zach expresses, “If it’s meant to be, then why can’t I find you?” in a heart-wrenching lyric that describes the lost and aching feeling of someone’s love being out of reach. “Come Closer” is a rollercoaster of emotions and I can imagine that's what it’s like to be inside a creative and heart broken mind. The production of the track is flawless and unique. The subtle vibration and backbeat layered behind incredible piano and an echo on Zach’s voice that gives it that extra something. “Come Closer” is filled to the brim with sound arrangements of inspiration and a willingness to take risks for the sake of following that inspiration. I highly recommend you check out the new single “Come Closer” and stay on the lookout for Zach Mackey! Listen to "Come Closer" here and get to know more about Zach Mackey below! Hey Zach! Can you start by telling us more about yourself and your upbringing into music? Hello! I grew up learning music in concert band, actually, which is what lead me to becoming a composer! I started writing music for fun once one of my friends in high school did, and fell in love- but, music became my passion once my grandfather passed away. Music was a huge, kind of unspoken connection between us (he was a church musician). I wrote my first piece of music dedicated to him, and I haven't stopped since. That was definitely a defining moment for me. What was your writing process like for “Come Closer”? What inspired the song? "Come Closer" is an interesting one. It's about the process of searching for your soulmate, having people coming and going, and the discouragement of having to try one more time. Sounds super gloomy when I type it out like that, but I love this songs meaning. The ending line of "Why do I love you if I haven't even met you?" gives hope, though. It tells me that I'm in the place to find that person. But, the song itself was actually inspired by a show I was in, entitled "If It's Meant To Be" with the Diamante Winterguard of the exact same concept. I wanted to give something to my fellow performers and instructors as a thank you for such an amazing experience with them. Your voice is so distinctive! When did you start singing? Wow- thank you! I've been singing my entire life, but it's definitely been one of those things I kept more secret. I wasn't very confident in it. I never really had the plans of releasing music with my voice in it either, I just wanted to produce. But, I didn't really have any boys I could turn to for a song I wanted to produce, so I gave it a whirl for myself! Luckily, I'm loving what I'm making. What are three things you want your fans to know about you? 1) I have a dog named Millie, she's a legend, and is my absolute best friend. So much would be different without her, and so much is different because of her. 2) I've been performing pretty heavily in the marching arts activitires for 11 years. All through high school, after school in Drum Corps International, and after that I performed in Winterguard International. 3) Music is my journal, and it's the only one I've been able to keep. Being originally from the south, I come from a place where boys really don't talk about their feelings. Music quickly became an outlet for me, and it maintains that to this day. You can always tell how I am doing by the type of music I'm creating. Who are your top three musical influences? Easy, easy, easy: Billie Eilish, Isak Danielson, and London Grammar. - "Rest Of Your Life” By Madam Adam Will Leave You Enthralled
Madam Adam is a four piece rock outfit from the great American South, but they don’t play any southern rock! Their style was born in a garage from their influences of punk rock, grunge and jazz. From that point, they have evolved into their own flavor of melodic pop rock. After several touring stints, vocalist/guitarist Scott Gould and lead guitarist Alan Price opened their own recording studio, Hybrid Audio Solutions, in their hometown of Charleston, South Carolina. This allowed the group to free themselves of previous constraints imposed by record contracts, allowing them more creative control and the ability to experiment at will. Their sounds are still centred around guitar tones, resounding melodies, tasteful harmonies and a tight rhythm section. They have a myriad of influences from so many different kinds of music that it would be difficult to put them in a box and label them with a genre, and that’s the way they like it. Released today, “Rest of Your Life” is a single by Madam Adam. The song begins with a delightful sounding guitar with a slap-back echo. This is an under-utilized technique in the guitar world that is used to great effect here. Following that, the vocals enter and there is a sub-bass synth that pulsates through the first verse. Within just about 30 seconds, this band have already crossed lines into about 3 or 4 different genres, making for a very refreshing song right from the get go. The vocals could be in a pop song, the synths could be in an EDM track, the guitars could easily be in a rock band and the drums could fit in a classic rock outfit. Each instrument is executed with obvious skill, and the vocals are well placed in the mix and definitely draw out every ounce of emotion. The arrangement of this song is superb, with each instrument well defined in the mix and no two sounds stepping on each other. Each aspect that is introduced complements everything else perfectly. An arrangement of this quality is difficult to pull off, and yet Madam Adam seems to make it happen with relative ease. The song is heartfelt, tuneful, sincere, and actually quite emotional. Thank you so much for answering a few questions! To start off, can you dive in a bit to how you all met and formed Madam Adam? The band originally formed when the majority of us were still in high school and it has evolved and changed shape a bit over the last decade or so. Several record deals and years of touring brought a member change and in 2014 guitarist Alan Price joined us, the band regrouped and began working on new music and forging our own new creative path. We are all cut from the same cloth and our music has became one of our most important outlets for us in life. “Rest of Your Life” is your new single, and it’s actually mind-bending in terms of how many sounds you guys use. The arrangement is particularly tastefully done. Can you talk a little bit about how this song came to be? How did you put all these elements together? This song came to us relatively quickly. It started with the delayed guitar line. It just sort of popped out while we were rehearsing for a show, and from that it grew into a nearly complete musical arrangement in about 20 minutes or so. The original rehearsal demos we made for the song are nearly identical to what would come to be the finished song. The song features the entire band singing gang vocals throughout the bridge and chorus which we used to reinforce the underlying theme. The song has has a powerful and unifying message, and in writing this song we felt we were speaking to that sentiment both musically and literally. It just made sense. You speak about a multitude of influences from grunge to jazz. Who would you say your biggest collective influences are as a band? We always find ourselves talking about bands like Silverchair, Queens of the Stone Age, Nirvana, Queen, and Weezer being early influences in our approach. The 90’s made an undeniable and lasting mark on all things music, but it was also the decade where music really began to affect us, so it has a strong foundation in Madam Adam. These days we have found ourselves influenced by everything from new pop/electronic artists and 70’s and 80’s style rock. We’ve never pigeon holed ourselves in terms of genre and style of music, and we want to continue to create songs in the way they want to be written. Can you describe the writing process you go through as a band? Is it one person’s ideas, or do you all feed off each other’s creative energy? We have done it every way it can be done. In the case of “Rest of Your Life” it was purely a collaborative effort from start to finish. Many times however, one of us might come into a rehearsal with an idea on guitar, or a vocal melody/lyric idea, sometimes even just a simple rhythmic feel and from there we all just build on it. Some ideas come quickly while others have taken years to wrap up. Generally speaking, we feed off of the unique energy each of us brings to a song. Our sound is simply the combination of flavours that you get from each of us as musicians. We tend to allow songs to write themselves and we don’t worry about whether or not it fits a certain genre or if it’s a “radio song”. What can we hope to see from Madam Adam in 2019 and beyond? Over the last 5 years we have established our own recording studio, Hybrid Audio Solutions, where we can create music without constraint. We have a multitude of songs in the can now and are working on finishing more music over the next few months. We plan to release a more singles as we finish them, and then sort have everything culminate into a full-length album release late 2019 early 2020. We have also started a Madam Adam music subscription service via Patreon, to eventually give fans an in-depth look into our creative processes and also to act as our fan club.
