Born in Michigan and growing up as an only child in a single-parent home, Rxch turned to music to escape from the daily struggles they were faced with. His naturally gifted songwriting skills allowed him to release his first EP in 2017, later becoming CEO of Rich Quality Studios, LLC. He has collaborated with many artists throughout his solo career, including Chris Laundry, Corey Dollaz, BabyFaceRay & Grand Rapids R.Payso. On his latest banger, "Walk," he brings a collaborative effort with the unique likes of Charmaine Renee on the record's second half, taking this track exactly where it needs to be. • May We Meet Again Have Found Their Peace On “Lost In Time”

Despite being new, the New England metalcore trio, May We Meet Again is poised to explode with their debut single and music video for “Lost In Time.” “Lost In Time” is part of the band’s upcoming EP, which is slated for a May release and will consist of five tracks that combine influences from pop, pop-punk, hardcore, deathcore, and more. Brutal yet beautiful, the band’s sound will captivate any metal enthusiasts and with an incredible debut like “Lost In Time,” we can’t wait to see how far they can go. Drummer Tay Manesis explains that part of May We Meet Again’s creative ethos is to create meaningful music that offers hope to those who may feel hopeless. For those unfamiliar with the band, “Lost In Time” will leave a powerful first impression. Co-written by Manesis and vocalist Tyler Fay, “Lost In Time” features ferocious instrumentals and a soaring chorus that leaves you feeling powerful. Produced, mixed, and mastered by Robbie Litchfield of Hell Here Studios, “Lost In Time” showcases May We Meet Again's ability to marry the brutal and the beautiful and proves that comparisons to Bring Me The Horizon and Invent Animate are indeed worthy. Over their rabid, ferocious yet at times melodic instrumentals, vocalist Tyler Fay shows off his versatility, screaming lines like “A shadow of all my mistakes that I can’t face / Another part of life that was meant to replaced” before flipping the switch and singing lines like “All of your bridges have burned down / In smoke, your suffocating.” It’s a powerful first impression, and if “Lost In Time” indicates May We Meet Again’s ability, the sky will be the limit. “Lost In Time” serves as an exciting taste of what’s to come in May We Meet Again's upcoming EP, and fans of metalcore and heavy music alike won't want to miss out on what the trio has in store. Whenever you’re ready, tap in and stream May We Meet Again’s single “Lost In Time,” available now on all major streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, May We Meet Again! Wow, that was a powerful debut if we’ve ever heard one! We must ask, what inspired “Lost In Time,” and what made it right for your debut? Musically speaking, we felt it was a solid representation of the range, from soft to heavy music, that we plan to continue mixing. Structurally speaking, we felt it was a good fit for a debut track, as it's catchy and new but not too repetitive. Give us the May We Meet Again origin story! How did you guys end up coming together? May We Meet Again started with four members, three of which are no longer in the band, leaving Tay to find the current membes. After meeting Tyler through our producer, Robbie Litchfield, we finished the EP at Hell Here Studios and continued to find our guitarist and bassist, James and Thomas. How would you describe your sound to new listeners? We believe our sound to be an exciting and new mix of classic and modern metalcore, with other influences from artists such as Scarlxrd, Techn9ne, Chase Atlantic, Ellie Goulding and Skrillex. If you wanted your fans to take one thing away from your music, what would it be? One thing we want people to take away from our music is just for everyone to be genuine to themselves, despite what anybody tells them. If you believe you are the best version of yourself, you'll do great things. What’s next for May We Meet Again? Your new EP is slated to release in May, right? We'll release our second single, with a new music video, very soon. We plan to have the EP fully released by the end of this spring. Instagram Facebook

She is a master of immersive, transformational expressive arts containers, leading inner alchemy through her mentorship in the art of voice, cultivation of the muse, and song craft. Her music is an invitation to explore the depths of one's being and to connect with the divine. Marya's music reminds us that we are all connected, and her voice is a beacon of hope and love. Marya's latest single, "Keep The Light On," is a hauntingly beautiful song that showcases her vocal range and songwriting skills. The song begins with the simple yet powerful lyrics, "I'll keep the light on, so you know that I was home," setting the tone for the rest of the song. Marya's voice is ethereal, transporting the listener to another world. The song is a message of love and hope, telling the listener they are not alone and that Marya is there for them. The lyrics of the song are poetic and full of imagery. Marya paints a picture of a peaceful world where the humming of the trees brings peace into the air, and the darkness of the night is illuminated by the stars. The song speaks of fireflies whispering the listener's name and telling stories of their heroism. The song reminds us that no matter where we are in the world, we are never truly alone as long as we have someone who loves us. The imagery used in the song is striking, with references to fireflies and new moons adding to the dreamlike quality of the track. Marya Stark is a truly talented artist who creates music that is both evocative and transformative. "Keep The Light On" is a beautiful and soulful track that showcases her unique blend of genre-defying elements. "Keep The Light On" is a reminder of the power of love and connection and is a testament to Marya's ability to create deeply emotional and musically complex music. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Marya Stark! Congrats on creating such a magical world with “Keep The Light On," a beautiful and emotionally charged song. Can you share the inspiration behind the lyrics and the story you were trying to convey through the song? I wrote this song while recording demos for my last album Sapphire. I was living for a week in a cabin in the magical woods of Santa Cruz, and I was inspired by the idea of someone beloved on a soul journey out in the woods, with the love of their life at home waiting for them while keeping the light on, and the hearth warm for them to return. I envisioned the person at home writing this love song with the fireflies and nature spirits to help guide their wandering Beloved back home. The instrumentation in "Keep The Light On" is intricate and complex, with layers of percussion and strings building throughout the song. Can you tell us a bit about the creative process of crafting this track's music? I so love the instrumental as well. Barry Phillips and Daniel Berkman are amazing players. I first created all my guitar and vocal layers, then handed them to Barry for his cello magic. He always over-delivers epic layers, which Andy Zenczak of Gadgetbox and I chiselled down to something we could then have Daniel play Kora and Ondomo on. I took Daniel’s many wonderful takes and widdled them into this arrangement. We then added the last layers of sound design and percussion to it. It was fun and intuitive to make, and the vision we were going for was a magical forest that was ALIVE with the muse and the inspiring cadence of a love song. The lyrics of "Keep The Light On" touch on love, connection, and the power of human relationships. Can you describe how these themes have influenced your creative process and the music you create? Gosh, Im such a sucker for a good romantic song. I think anything that drops me into my emotions and senses is good fodder for my muses- what better than the divine elixir of love to stir the hearts longing, eh? I think the muse is such broad energy and contemplation, and the way we humans experience inspiration is so vast. But relationships are where I perceive Divinity meets the lived experience of our Humanity. 2nd person meetings with the muse are where the edges of self, other, and the vast expression of life get magnetic and interesting. Such a fun place to lean into with the pen, take notes, and catch songs if we're lucky. You have described yourself as a "multi-media enchantress," Your music is certainly otherworldly and enchanting. How do you draw inspiration from the mystical and spiritual realms in your music, and what role do these themes play in your creative process? Spirituality is all around us- it is not separate from our experience. However, a spiritual perspective can shift us out of ordinary thinking into seeing how extraordinary being alive is. I think as an artist, it comes with the job requirement to be able to perceive the extraordinary in what's arising, especially in what might be habitual, mundane moments- to zoom into the layers of magic that are inherent in the fabric of everything. I think that is one of the roles of the artist- to remind people to snap attention to how precious life is. So from there, I feel studying anything mystical and applying it to my art is an act of truth to keep my senses attuned to wonder, awe, and the pulse of inspiration. "Keep The Light On" is just one of the many incredible tracks on the upcoming album 'Weightless.' Can you tell us a bit about the overall concept behind the album? For sure. I began recording this upcoming album the week after I released my last album, 'Sapphire.' Because that record was released in mid-2020, my plans for touring it were put on hold. So instead, I went right back into the studio. With Sapphire, we went for a fully produced cinematic concept album experience. With Weightless, I wanted to do something a little different- lighter- more gentle- more weightless- to meet where I was emotional with the craziness of the times we were experiencing. This record is mostly vocals, guitar and layered cello, with a few moments of sound design here and there. It feels like a very organic, simple, lush-sounding album that shares intimate songs about my human heart—nothing big and mythopoetic in terms of story-arch. But rather, it is an album that demonstrates for me what it feels like to tend to the gentle layers of longing and feel them all slowly and fully. Like a feather in the wind. Or a firefly landing on a rose petal. Instagram Facebook

  • HART Tells Us What “They Say”

HART's debut single, "They Say," perfectly showcases the artist's talent and unique style. From the moment the song begins, it's clear that HART is a gifted singer with a soulful voice that draws the listener in. The track combines R&B, Pop, and Hip Hop elements to create a familiar and fresh sound. The lyrics of "They Say" are a testament to HART's ability to turn personal experiences into universal themes that resonate with listeners. The song tells the story of a relationship and being able to say that important thing before it’s too late. The chorus is especially catchy, with HART pouring out his soul to emphasize the power of his love for someone. However, what sets "They Say" apart is the emotional depth and honesty that HART brings to the song. The lyrics are raw and vulnerable, and HART's delivery is filled with passion and conviction. You can feel the longing in his voice as he sings about getting that one moment to balance things out, and it's impossible not to be moved by the intensity of his performance. "They Say" is an impressive debut from an artist who is talented and passionate about his music. With his unique sound and willingness to explore personal themes in his lyrics, HART is a rising star in the R&B and Pop world. If you're looking for honest, emotional, and relatable music, give "They Say" a listen - you won't be disappointed. Welcome to BuzzMusic HART; congrats on your latest release, “They Say” What inspired you to write the lyrics, and how do they reflect your personal experiences with relationships?" I got into a bad argument with my girl. Music has always given me an opportunity to get shit off my chest, and after this particular argument that seemed to not have any logic from either of us, I stepped to the mic and “they say love is, the absence of expectation” is the statement that came out. The song wrote itself, and it didn’t take me long to get back to loving my girl. So the song just came together perfectly, and it served its purpose at the time. It made me lose my anger with the situation and helped me to focus on what mattered most. Love Your music has been described as a blend of R&B, Pop, and Hip Hop. How did you develop your unique sound, and what artists have influenced you the most?" I grew up on a very mainstream, top 40 sound. Legendary artists like Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, Jackson Five, Stevie Wonder, Boys 2 Men, Bobby Brown, and Bob Marley, to name a few. My mom always likes to call me a little romancer (aka hopeless romantic), so mixing the background of sound I grew up on and my emotional capacity is where I would say my sound came from. How did it feel to hear 'They Say' played on CBC Radio during your Canada-wide tour? Did you expect the song to receive such a positive response?" It was such an amazing feeling!! To know that people across Canada were hearing me. The real expression of my vibe and thoughts was so gratifying. I didn’t think people would like my music because it’s so emotional. It’s not your typical cool topic. But what’s cool anyways? You've been compared to artists like Miguel and Giveon. What do you think sets your music apart from others in the industry, and how do you hope to leave your mark?" My music is different because it is about the things we all would rather hide and not put a spotlight on. It’s the growth moments in life. The moments we can look back on and say, “damn, if it weren’t for that happening to me, I wouldn’t be where I am today”—the lovesick moments in life. My music has helped me to heal, and I hope it will do the same for others. Sharing stories from my life and the people in my life helps me better understand who I am. Knowing who I am helped me love myself more and enjoy my life more, fully accepting who I am. This is my legacy; this is my impact. It was knowing thy self and loving thy self. What can fans expect from your upcoming releases, and how will they build on the themes and emotions explored in 'They Say'?" The fans can expect a roller coaster ride of emotions filled with highs and lows. I’m letting listeners into a diary of common thoughts, perspectives, and situations that many have encountered throughout life. It’s the Lovesick Diaries Vol.1. This project is truly the audible and visual representation of unconditional love. Because love isn’t easy, but it’s the only thing worth fighting for. Instagram Facebook

We loved “One More Time.” It was such a melodic listen! It was almost like we got enveloped in the song! We must ask, can you take us through the creative process you went through making it? My creative process always starts with how the beat makes me feel, which determines the type of vibe I want to give to those listening. So when I heard the way it started, I knew this would be a song where I wanted you to feel something, and when the beat dropped, it would also be a song that you could also groove to. I also wanted to make it relatable as there are many relationships where it ends, but you still love that person and want it to work out hence why I named the song “One More Time." You mentioned you were born in Mississauga and raised in Brampton. Both places are super multicultural, right? What was your experience like growing up there, and how did it influence who you are as an artist? Growing up there, I had a good experience where I spent my childhood. Growing up there influenced me as an artist as many people from the city are talented and show that Toronto isn’t the only place where talented artists come from. How would you describe your music to new listeners? I would describe my music to new listeners as catchy as I feel like the melodies I have in my songs can stick with people, relatable as I feel my music can connect with people based on what’s going on in their lives, and all around good vibes as I aim to make songs that can make people feel good. What are you trying to achieve with your music? What I’m trying to achieve with my music right now is to do live performances, as that can help bring in more of an audience and introduce people to good music that they may not have heard before. What’s next for NateThePrince? Can we expect to hear more new music soon? What’s next for me is to continue to push this song and other songs I’ve released that I feel should get more recognition. So no new music for now, but if I were to give a time stamp on when I want to drop another song, it would be in the Summer. Twitter

"Fresh Meat Rockstars" will resonate with anyone who has ever been a part of the music industry. It is a powerful reminder of the importance of humility, unity, and learning from one another. Welcome to BuzzMusic Tarah Who? Cheers to the good times on "Fresh Meat Rockstars" What inspired you to write "Fresh Meat Rockstars," and how did you develop the idea for the song's message? TGC: "Fresh Meat Rockstars: is about the relationship between bands we meet on the road. The best experiences are when you love the music AND get along with the people playing it! Maybe you can end up playing shows together, collaborating, or having a great time supporting each other when you end up in the same cities. Unfortunately, just like in any relationship, sometimes those feelings are not reciprocated, but I believe everything happens for a reason. You don't necessarily know it then, but it will reveal itself, and then you will think, "oh, that's why..." we met. When I wrote "Fresh Meat Rockstars," I had a specific experience in mind, but as I was on tour and met more and more musicians and people, I realized that it could be a lot of bands' stories. We all have started somewhere, at some point, and to someone, you are "Fresh Meat," and you have a lot more to learn. It could be a generation thing, where you are in your career, or anything... but the question is... do you vibe together? Are you made for this lifestyle? Can you talk about the creative process behind the music video for "Fresh Meat Rockstars" and how you decided to use footage from your tour to showcase the song's message? TGC: I wanted to show the behind-the-scenes of being on tour. When people ask me, "how was the tour," or "tell us stories,"... I never know what to say. Going on tour is an experience. It is not for everyone. There is nothing glamorous about it, but we, the band members, get to know each other and go through a lot in such a short amount of time. When the tour is over, and you return home, it is always nice to return to your house, animals, family, BED, and what have you... but then, after a few days. You crave it again. We had some footage from our Berlin show, so I thought I would use that and add some footage of us being us. We are not Rock stars; we are just people who love playing music and support each other in doing it. What was it like working with Jason Orme on "Fresh Meat Rockstars," and how did his contributions enhance the track's overall sound? TGC: "Fresh Meat Rockstars" is the last song I wrote for the album. We had all the songs, and because I was going back to the studio to record "The Showdown" and a couple more songs, I thought I would sneak that into it. It's simple; it's catchy... why not? I sent the demos I had made in my little studio to Norm and Jason, and we met one weekend to record all those songs. My drummer had left the band, it was too short notice for me to find someone else, and I could not afford a session musician, so I recorded the drums. I am glad we worked it out, but it was sometimes a bit challenging to stay focused and keep my energy for the drums, guitars, vocals, and backing vocals! Lol! But we did it! On "Fresh Meat Rockstars," we used the bass I recorded from the demo version of the song, which somehow... worked! You have been vocal about staying humble and open to learning from others in the music industry. How has this mindset helped you grow as an artist, and how do you hope to inspire others with the message of "Fresh Meat Rockstars"? TGC: It goes back to our journeys, and perspectives are different. Between Ash (on bass), Christine (drums), Lesley (my wife and who helped us sell merch), and Laura (who joined us on a couple of shows on the guitar), we went on the same tour, travelled in the van, but we experienced it differently. So between different tours and bands, there is always so much to learn. How I hope to inspire other bands and musicians is to respect each other. We are the same. There's no Rock star bullshit. I heard once on tour, "respect is earned." I fully disagree with that statement. We start by all respecting each other, regardless of where we come from and how long we have been there. We all come from somewhere; we ALL have backstories and a reason why we are where we are here. And if anything, they don't know my background either and how long I have been working on my music, as a female musician, in a male-dominated industry, rock music. So how about we START by respecting each other just because we are all humans and don't judge a book by its cover? What can fans expect from Tarah Who? in the future, and how do you see the band evolving musically and creatively? Will the message of "Fresh Meat Rockstars" continue to inspire your future work? TGC: The full-length album "The Collaboration Project" is coming out on April 28, 2023. I am excited about it. More dates will be announced real soon as other surprises. Yes, I think "Fresh Meat Rockstars" will continue to inspire my future work and sometimes help me keep my feet on the ground. Instagram Facebook

  • Days Of Lavender Gives Us “My Wintertime”

Days of Lavender has quickly become a household name in the dreamy electronic music scene. The duo of Stephen Clarke and Daniela Mae combines their love for different musical genres to create a psychedelic sound that takes listeners on a meditative journey. Their inspiration comes from a mix of 80s synth pop, electronica, gospel, and orchestral music, evident in their latest single, "My Wintertime." "My Wintertime" is a slow-burning track that immediately draws you in with its haunting melody and ethereal sound. The song's opening line, "You look good in gold," sets the tone for the rest of the track, as it touches upon the idea that even amid winter's cold, there is always something warm and beautiful to be found. The lyrics are poetic and thought-provoking, with lines like "Maybe I have to follow where the wind will blow" and "Don't you doubt about the grey in your hair," adding depth to the song's meaning. The track opens with a sparse arrangement of twinkling synths and a subdued drumbeat that sets the mood for the introspective journey ahead. As the song progresses, the instrumentation builds and evolves, introducing new layers of sound and texture that create a sense of depth and complexity. The vocals, delivered with a sense of vulnerability and sincerity, float above the music, adding to the dreamy and otherworldly atmosphere of the song. The arrangement of "My Wintertime" perfectly matches its introspective lyrics. The use of layered synths, intricate percussion, and atmospheric production creates a sonic landscape that is both expansive and intimate. Daniela Mae's vocals are equally impressive, with her ability to easily deliver emotive and honest lyrics. "My Wintertime" is a stunning track that showcases Days of Lavender's unique blend of musical influences. The song has a nostalgic feel reminiscent of 80s synth-pop while still managing to sound modern and fresh. The duo's dedication to their craft is evident in their attention to detail, from the arrangement to the lyrics, making them a formidable force in the dreamy electronic music scene. Days of Lavender's "My Wintertime" is a beautiful track that showcases their unique sound and dedication to their craft. The duo's blend of musical influences, poetic lyrics, and atmospheric production creates an introspective and expansive sonic experience. As they continue to grow and release new music, it is clear that Days of Lavender is a duo to watch in the dreamy electronic music scene. Welcome to BuzzMusic Days of Lavender! Cheers to your new dreamscape release with "My Wintertime," which has a nostalgic feel reminiscent of 80s synth-pop. Was that intentional, and how did you create that specific sound for the song? Stephen: Thanks so much! Yes, it was intentional. We love exploring the interplay between soft dreamy soundscapes and punchy 80s synths in our music. We first started with the driving synth line with a sort of beach-at-sunset feel. We had been using that chord progression in our live sets for about a year but knew we wanted to remix it into a song at some point. My Wintertime was a great song for it because it's at once vulnerable and triumphant. The lyrics in "My Wintertime" emphasize following where the wind will blow. Can you share a personal experience that inspired those lyrics and how they relate to the overall theme of the song? Daniela: When I turned 28, I was living alone in the middle of the pandemic, and in my solitude, I started to fixate on the smallest signs of aging. I was sad and stressed out about the state of the world, and I felt like my newly emerging wrinkles were a sign that my body was starting to fail me. I thought maybe I'd never get to do all the things I assumed I would do before I turned 30. As we all do, I'm still dealing with insecurities, but I'm learning to let go. I grew up in Ottawa and am very familiar with harsh winters. I remember walking to school, fighting the wind to get where I was going. But when it comes to navigating my way through life, sometimes it's not about fighting it but relinquishing control and going wherever the wind takes me. The EP "Mary's Garden" is dedicated to Stephen's grandmother. Can you talk about how she influenced your music and if a specific track on the EP pays homage to her? Stephen: Well, for starters, we rehearse in her basement, which has been a huge help logistically for the band. She's always been very moved by music. I remember she used to take me to the symphony growing up. She's also an artist and has this incredible garden, which is the main inspiration for the EP and title track "Mary's Garden." Seeing her have a creative outlet she can always pour herself into is inspiring. She has done that with her garden, and now I'm doing that with music. "My Wintertime" is a slow-burning track that builds into a crescendo of layered synths and intricate percussion. How do you approach creating the arrangement for your songs, and what was the process like for this particular track? Stephen: Regarding writing and arranging, we try to stay open to inspiration everywhere. Often we'll be on an outdoor adventure somewhere, and some theme, story, or melody will appear. Then, it becomes our job to follow it to see where it goes. We try to allow the song to tell us what it wants to do rather than the other way around. We had already used the beat in this track in our set for about a year before shaping it into a full song. We let Daniela improvise and let her subconscious fill in the blanks to get a melody. Then it was just about adding fun, supportive elements until it felt complete and uniquely Days of Lavender. What are your plans for future releases with the success of "My Wintertime" and your other tracks? Can you give any hints or teasers about what fans can expect next from Days of Lavender? Daniela: Our 4-song EP 'Mary's Garden,' which will include "My Wintertime," will be released May 3rd, 2023. Then, we will be in Toronto to write and perform as much as possible in May. This past weekend, we went on a writing retreat to Salt Spring Island, came up with the concept for our next short album, and sketched out ideas for about 4 new songs. So there are a lot of fun directions we're excited to go in. We have also developed the concept for a meditation/yoga set where Daniela, who is a yoga instructor, will teach some mindful movement. At the same time, Stephen plays the live set we created together. On April 22nd, we'll be hosting an event called "InnerSpace," featuring live painting, a healing workshop, vendors, dancing, and our live set! Lots of fun stuff on the horizon, so we hope you and your readers will follow along for the ride! Instagram Facebook

You absolutely knocked it out of the park with “Don’t Talk To Strangers." You mentioned that you’ve meant to do this Dio cover for a while, but can you take us through your creative process? How do you usually go about making music? Thank you! I have had Dio as a vocal hero no. 1 since rainbow then followed and it has given inspiration for my songwriting. I've always been creative when it comes to music, in this case I thought "Don't Talk To Strangers" was a song that I could make my own version of and maybe then attract the younger generation to old hard rock today's soundscape. I create music through my experiences and inspire others with my lyrics and music. What made you want to become a musician? I decided quite early in my early teens when I got my first guitar and started practicing taking out songs and riffs from Black Sabbath records and a little later I started writing my own songs and it gave me more taste. So you mentioned that your album “Nine Lives” will be released on vinyl this summer! Do you have any favourite songs on the album you’re excited for fans to hear? All my songs on "Nine Lives" are my children, so ideally I want you to like all the songs. Femme Fatale, One Chance, Read This Song..... How would you describe your sound to any new listeners? I would describe my sound as 80s hard rock but in 2023 soundscape. What’s next for Kaj Pousar? New single will also be released in April 2023, also a cover song and then I will write new songs for a new album in 2023. Instagram
