  • The Safety Word & Valoramous Blast the Scene With 'Amnesia (Remixes EP)'

Calling all electronic music lovers, synthpop duo The Safety Word and electronic record producer Valoramous just released an eclectic remix EP featuring six different remixes of their conceptual and punchy single "Amnesia." The song touches on the unfortunate "Amnesia" Western societies represent when navigating through geopolitical events, regional wars, global supply chain issues, inflation, and the pandemic. The new remix project features producers like 3 Tribes, Valoramous, Robodop Snei, Increment, Eckul, and The Wav A.P.S. The 'Amnesia (Remixes EP)' kicks into gear with the original "Amnesia" track, where a melodic and bright synth melody leaps through or speakers alongside distant and sultry synths to liven things up. Once The Safety Word's lead vocalist John Rousvanis makes his way in, he quickly moves the atmosphere into this reflective and thoughtful listening experience as he sheds light on the meaning of gratitude and its importance. There's a certain hip-hop edge to the song's groovy drum patterns, but the overall track is nothing short of an eclectic electronic experience full of emotion, meaning, and euphoria. Moving on to the second remix, "Amnesia (3 Tribes Remix)," we get to hear the tech-house stylings of 3 Tribes as they open the song with the same distant synths but in a more syncopated rhythm to ramp up the complex tech-house feel. This track offers a much more intense and high-energy space, especially as 3 Tribes drops us into the hook with a pulsating bassline, club-like drums, and an overall ethereal feel. The driving drums in this track keep our toes tapping while John Rousvanis's classic, soft vocals continue propelling the song forward alongside the neat addition of a plucky electric guitar. Pumping up the energy is the third remix, "Amnesia (Valoramous Festival Mix)," which takes off with more of a Big Room sound through an exciting 128 BPM kick that blasts through our speakers and takes us to the mainstage of our favorite electronic fests. This remix is packed with heavy brass elements, and Rousvanis's spirited performance takes us to the exciting beat drop packed with nostalgic Big Room vibes to keep the party alive. This uptempo remix is everything we needed and more, perfectly starting the weekend with a bang. Jumping over the EP's halfway point with remix number four, "Amnesia (Robodop Snei Remix) [Radio Edit]," this remix offers a high-energy progressive house approach that kicks off with vibrant keyboard melodies and moves quickly into the punchy drums. Robodop Snei gets our heads bopping right off the bad and quickly adds this overall sleek and rhythmic edge through the exhilarating drum arrangements and Rousvanis's spacious, reverbed vocals. We're sure anyone will appreciate the fat kick drum and the driving synths that take the song to new heights. Reaching remix number five, "Amnesia (Increment Remix)," this experience opens with the same synths but with choppy, hazy, and mysterious breaks. Once Increment spices the atmosphere with dazzling and dizzying synths, it's clear he's going for a more crunchy, glitch-like, electronica approach. The rich percussion in this track and the haunting, dark feel are reminiscent of acts like Rezz, with subtle nods to authentic electronica. We admire how Increment managed to twist Rousvanis' vocals to offer that well-rounded, modern electronic sound. Taking a spin on remix number six, "Amnesia (Eckul Remix)," this track begins with a slower, more reflective tempo that amps up the dark and sensual energy. Eckul subtly pitched down Rousvanis' vocals to maintain that introspective and relaxed feel while adding his softly-rising pads and arpeggiated synth bass to offer a sense of sonic euphoria. This song brings all those driving deep house vibes we could ask for, and the overall moody tone of this remix brings this stimulating and refreshing feel that takes us straight to the club. Landing on the EP's final remix, "Amnesia (The Wav A.P.S. Remix)," we totally step outside of the electronic realm and head into the sweating metal rock sounds of The Wav A.P.S. through blazing rhythm guitars and intense, punchy drums. This remix offers an incredible thrill all within three minutes, and the distorted feel alongside Rousvanis' soothing vocals makes for quite the interesting listening experience. The Wav A.P.S even offer their staple angsty screams and roars to make it all the more authentic. We completely understand why The Safety Word and Valoramous chose to close the EP with this sweltering tune. Experience the broad and dynamic sounds of The Safety Word and Valoramous' new remix EP 'Amnesia (Remixes EP),' now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, The Safety Word. We adore the atmospheric and melodic listening experience you've provided with your recent single, "Amnesia," alongside Valoramous. What inspired this unique single and collaboration? John: The collaboration was organized through Simon, and it was during the difficult times of the last half of 2021, it just sort of happened very quickly when we got around to doing it, so it was one of those meant to be songs where everything just lined up circumstantially in order for us to make it happen. Simon: I run our social media accounts, and we are very active on there. I met Mike (Valoramous) through Instagram, and we both liked each other's productions. He suggested the idea of collaboration and sent us through three tracks to check out. I immediately connected with the one he was labeling a hip-hop track. I just really liked the darker, edgier sound of it, and I knew that we put a lot of ourselves into the track. Does your synthpop duo usually collaborate with other electronic producers like Valoramous? What did you aim to achieve when working together? John: We usually end up getting remixes from artists, which is a form of collaboration, but now we just feel more of a natural step in collaboration to create songs from scratch with other artists that resonate with us musically, artistically, or intellectually. We feel that collaboration brings out different aspects of how we approach and create art as it formats unions with outside artists and always gives us something different creatively. Simon: We have done a number of collaborations in the past, and it's something that we find very artistically fulfilling. Most recently, we collaborated with Spectoral an alternative R & B producer out of Melbourne. We are also putting the finishing touches on a second collab with CITY OF STARS. It's a really interesting time as it has become more common for artists from anywhere in the world to connect with each other online and work on songs together from their own studios remotely. For this particular collaboration, we wanted to produce something that allowed our individual personalities to shine and ultimately have a lot of fun and just enjoy the process of creation. Did you have any artistic influences or projects in mind when creating the single "Amnesia" with Valoramous? John: No, we sort of just went in there with a blank canvas and just thought we would do something that just comes naturally and as a response to the current state of things internally within ourselves and externally with how we perceive the world. Simon: The original song that Valoramous produced was intended for a collaboration with a hip-hop MC. I've been listening to a lot of current synthwave artists such as Timecop 1983, The Midnight, Gunship, FM-84, Waveshaper, and Carpenter Brut, as well as drawing inspiration from new wave artists of the past such as Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Talking Heads, Devo, and New Order. Whilst there isn't any artist we were directly attempting to copy, I take great pleasure in listening to music with headphones and escaping into other worlds for a bit, and you can't help but have some of it seep into your own productions. What was it like hearing all the vastly different remixes of your single, "Amnesia?" John: It was absolutely amazing and surprising at the same time. Remixes are a blessing in a way as they show you how your vision can be interpreted in many different ways that we would not think possible, so in a way, we just are so grateful to all the artists that played along with us with their remixes which are all so beautiful in their unique way. Simon: We feel so honored to have had so many truly talented artists remix this collaboration. I always love the very first time that I hear a remix someone has done of one of our songs. It is incredible how much each producer can change the mood of the track and the weight of the lyrics through the artistic choices that they make. One of the remixes that really stood out the first time I heard it was The Wav's metal/rock remix as it was just so completely different from the original, yet he made it sound as though the song might have been a rock song, to begin with, and our version was the remix. What sort of listening experience did you want to offer with the 'Amnesia (Remixes EP)?' What did you want to make your audience feel when listening? John: Good question. Well, I guess we wanted to surprise our listeners and take them on a journey musically in a way creating a little microcosm to which they can be transported for a brief period of time. Lyrically I feel the listening can explore the words and come up with their own interpretation and meaning within each sentence. So in a way, they can personalize the song with how they perceive their own reality at the moment. If anything, they just enjoy the sounds and melody of the song. Simon: I would like to think that people will listen to the full 27 mins and experience it as a sonic journey, but it's totally cool if people just connect with one of the remixes. The idea of having so many different styles is to show how a well-written song can transcend genre and bridge the gap between synthpop, EDM, synthwave, progressive house, electronic, metal, and everything in between. The general vibe that we evoke in our songs is one of dreamy, reflective nostalgia. This track definitely has that going on but with harder-hitting sounds that keep you grounded in the present. • Sulene Revs The Senses In A New Music Video For, "Electrosexual"

From South Africa to Brooklyn, New York, is barely thirty-year-old musical mastermind and singer-songwriter Sulene with her deftly-thematic and exhilarating new music video for "Electrosexual." Sulene perfectly embodies the essence of the elusive 'it' factor, having written music for commercials for Nike and Dior, performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and toured as the guitarist for Nate Ruess' (fun.) live band. Her music offers a lively blend of synth-drenched electro-pop anthems tossed around with crunchy hints of Nine Inch Nails-like industrial rock. Preparing to release her upcoming EP 'In The Style of David Lynch' on April 29, Sulene gives us a sweet taste of what to expect with her recent thrilling single and accompanying music video for "Electrosexual." The song itself is a tantalizing blend of sultry synthpop, driving industrial rock guitars, and Sulene's sensually-inclined vocals that leave us gripped. The song's new music video goes a hell of a lot deeper. This short film-esque video kicks off with a subdued Sulene gazing into a video of bedazzled women dancing around an arcade. As she becomes more intrigued by the second, we zoom into Sulene's mind, where she's seen in a red LED-lit arcade dressed in a sleeveless leather bodysuit, posing and leaning on different games. As she joins the bedazzled ensemble in a captivating group number, Sulene peels back to the top of an arcade game to expose the path between fantasy and reality. Meeting up with the "Electrosexual" version of herself, confused as to what's happening, this Sulene 2.0 slyly drops off a VHS at Sulene's door, ending the video the same as it began, with the artist gazing into what she just experienced. We're sure any viewer will feel compelled to solve the thought-provoking and erotic puzzle that is Sulene's new titillating music video for "Electrosexual," now available on YouTube. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Sulene. We were drawn in when watching your other-worldly (and sultry) music video for "Electrosexual." Seeing that it's a compact short-film-like experience, what did you want the viewer to take away? What were your goals when creating the video? My goal was to make a video with many layers to it. I think different people will get different things out of it. I will say if you're well-versed in David Lynch movies, you'll probably get something more specific out of it, as I'm referencing a lot of stuff from a specific Lynch film, but even if you're not a Lynch fan, I think there's a lot to uncover. I wanted to make something that was more like a short film than a music video, where hopefully, you could watch it a few times and start to uncover things in the storyline. There is a fully thought-out storyline throughout the video, haha, but I'm not gonna give away anything. I wanna see what people get from it on their own. How did director SK Studio help execute your ideas and visions? I storyboarded this video, and Spencer did a great job of bringing it to life. We actually talked through a lot of different story ideas and ended up with this one in the end. We've worked together on a lot of videos and photos at this point, and the more you create with another person, you start to understand each other's intentions more and more. It's really special. Spencer made it all happen, got the DP, the choreographer, the dancers, lights, cameras… everything you can think of. I'm more on the "ideas" side of things, haha. And outfits :) Oh, and I edited it. What kind of listening experience should we expect on your upcoming EP, 'In The Style of David Lynch?' More intense riffs, in-your-face lyrics, some experimental stuff. A burst of energy. We have to ask — what's your favorite David Lynch film? Lost Highway. And now I've given something away about the music video, haha. We're so excited to hear the full album. How excited are you for the world to hear it? I can't wait! It was such a labor of love, and it's really, really special to me. Honestly, I'm just grateful anyone listens to my music. It's really cool. Instagram Facebook

Constantly reminding listeners that anything can be achieved with hard work, confidence, and energy, Will Power personifies the concept of willpower with each release. Coining the term, "Where there's a will, there's a way—and there's always a way with willpower," the passionate recording artist shows us what confidence and dedication get you in a new refreshing EP, 'Distant Love.' Produced, written, and arranged himself, Will Power's EP opens with the introductory and title track, "Distant Love," setting the scene with tender r&b keys that lead us into a groovy, downtempo, and blissful sonic arrangement. As Will Power's smooth and airy vocals float down from above, he begins expanding on knowing his soulmate is out there while yearning to find them. This song perfectly opens this atmospheric EP with incredibly serene and dreamy vibes that romanticize relationships and finding your perfect match. Continuing the same smooth r&b sound is the EP's second track, "All Mine," kicking off with chime-like keys and heavy, downtempo drums while Will Power looks forward to singing r&b with someone special later that night. Onto the catchy hook, the melodic piano makes a subtle appearance while Will Power continues to relish his happiness with finally finding the person of his dreams. Will Power's ghostly and breath-heavy harmonies in this track amplify the passionate and emotional experience that overcomes us when we realize we've found our soulmate. Pumping up the party is the third track, "Let's Get Lost Tonight," which showcases Will Power's pop influence through a nostalgic synthpop lens, similar to the ecstatic listening experience of The Weeknd's 'Dawn FM.' Once the entire electronic drums and synths make their way in, Will Power transports us into this beaming and vibrant space that leaves us in search of a lively night out. Each song on the EP thus far has had deftly-catchy hooks, and we're sure any listener will be able to let loose and leave their stress at the door when spinning this animated tune. Moving over the EP's halfway point with the fourth track, "The Way You Give It To Me," Will Power continues those upbeat electronic vibes through the song's energetic drum arrangements and soft piano melodies. While vocalizing how he loves the way someone loves, Will Power leads us through a toe-tapping hook that keeps the groove alive but more relaxed and composed. His tender and harmonious vocals give the song added emotional depth to enhance the passionate theme of devoting yourself to someone's love for the rest of time. Leaving us with a high-energy, thrilling bop is the EP's last track, "Get This Love," which bursts open with the grooviest electronic basslines, neat vocal samples, and upbeat drum breaks. Only within thirty seconds of this banger, Will Power gives us so much to listen to, from the cohesive and colorful production to his charismatic vocals that playfully invite someone to "Get This Love." This is another track reminiscent of the 80s synthpop that keeps us on our feet and ready to hit the dancefloor. Will Power continues his exhilarating performance and leaves us hooked with such confidence and passion that's impossible to ignore. Expect the unexpected and more when hitting play on Will Power's new conceptual and dynamic 5-track EP, 'Distant Love,' now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Will Power. You've truly left us captivated with your passionate, personal, and conceptual new EP, 'Distant Love.' What inspired you to create this profoundly dynamic project? After reviewing my previous EP "Closer" from 2020, I wanted to go in the opposite direction and speak about a love that's more "Distant." I had the honor to hear the melody for "Distant Love" in a dream and recorded what I remembered when I woke up. From there, the project came to life. I drew from my experiences with love, loss, pain, bad relationships, and good relationships to put together themes and lyrics that people could hopefully relate to. The tracklist order for 'Distant Love' seems to follow the experience of yearning for love and finally finding it. Was this the concept or theme you wanted to get across to your audience? You hit the nail on the head! Although the entire story wasn't apparent to me when I first started working on the project... I believe my songwriting was ahead of my own consciousness. I wanted to make each song as relatable to the listener as possible, and I had them in mind for each track. I wanted to musically speak to listeners who have never been loved properly, listeners who want to be loved, and listeners with a lot of love to give! Seeing that you created the entire 'Distant Love' EP yourself, what did that creative process look like? Did you begin by writing some lyrics or playing around with production? The creative process for the Distant Love EP was pretty smooth for me. I heard most of the hooks in my head, and from there, I would simply build the production around what was already playing in my head! I didn't write down lyrics for any of the songs until they were finished. I sang each lyric from my soul, and when you keep it real and sing what you truly feel, it usually comes naturally. Did you have any artistic influences or projects in mind when creating the vibe and sound of 'Distant Love?' The opening track, "Distant Love," instantly put me into a Michael Jackson zone when I started singing the first verse. It felt like something he would have done during the "Invincible" era in the early 2000s. I also revisited and studied 70s music before I started working on Distant Love, and I fell in love with Disco productions. Naturally, I felt like bringing some of that magic to this EP wouldn't hurt. Songs like "Let's Get Lost Tonight," "The Way You Give it to Me," and "Get This Love" all borrow elements of Disco in their productions. I recorded a Home Concert to this EP and added extra vocals to fuse Hip-Hop vocals with the Pop/Disco/R&B vocals. It's now on my YouTube channel and my favorite video I've ever made. Do you have a favorite song from 'Distant Love'? Why does that song speak to you the most? My favorite song from the Distant Love EP would definitely be "All Mine." I feel like it's a true sleeper hit. I took many risks on that track and came up with many transitions with the background vocals and ad-libs. I wanted to make a unique R&B ballad that showcased a vocal power I had never shown before. The hook is very simple, and the theme is also very simple: It feels so good to know you're all mine! Yet the song itself is very intricate. This is my absolute favorite production and vocal performance I've released so far... and yet I'm just getting started! Instagram Twitter

  • To Whom It May Shows Us Their "Upbeat Teeth"

Hailing from Galveston, Texas, is explorative metal trio To Whom It May with their flaming hot new single, "Upbeat Teeth," from their sophomore 11-track album, 'Olympian Gossip.' To Whom It May comprises guitarist, vocalist, and primary songwriter Jonathan Jourdan, bassist Robb Mars, and drummer Dexas Villarreal. Together, they've made waves by touring with bands like Nothing More, Candlebox, and Texas-hailing Down, which helped put the boys on the map as a force to be reckoned with. Continuing to explore and ignite the metal scene is To Whom It May's latest single, "Upbeat Teeth." This heated tune is the introductory track and lead single from To Whom It May's recent 11-track escapade, 'Olympian Gossip,' which is sure to bring their careers to new, exhilarating peaks. The trio ferociously grabs our attention with their versatile metal instrumentals and high-energy, cohesive performance. Diving even further into the new hit, "Upbeat Teeth," the experience kicks off with a reporter-type voice expanding on the mysterious monoliths and where they came from. Without a second to waste, To Whom It May crashes their way through this intense track with the utmost power and might while still offering a grippingly emotional melodic sound to keep the passion at a high. We're incredibly impressed with To Whom It May's cohesive energy and creative chemistry, as this song's dynamic instrumentals and conceptual theme merge together to offer a listening experience like no other. If this new track is anything like the rest of the 'Olympian Gossip' album, we might just have to take the record for a spin. Feast your ears on To Whom It May's exciting and powerhouse new single, "Upbeat Teeth," and continue the experience with their new album, 'Olympian Gossip,' now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, To Whom It May. You've made your mark with your latest heavy-hitting and exciting single, "Upbeat Teeth." So where did you find the inspiration to create this powerhouse track? I wanted to lead the album off with a driving riff that had forward momentum. Upbeat Teeth hit all those marks for me, and it created a nice bed of music to tell a story. Was there a certain lyrical theme or message you wanted to convey through "Upbeat Teeth?" What did you want to make the listener think and feel? 'Upbeat Teeth' is about the destructive nature of being too sure of yourself, being a closed book, and not willing to learn and grow. Some see it in religion, some see it in pop culture, and it shows its teeth in many facets of our lives. It's about understanding were all capable of being that close-minded individual. The way to avoid it is to be ok with being wrong, learn from it, and say enough is enough. Why did you choose to release "Upbeat Teeth" before your Olympian Gossip album? How does this single set the tone for the rest of the album to follow? 'Upbeat Teeth' is the first song on the new album and was picked to be so well before the album was fully written. It just had a vibe that felt right to pick up from where we left off with the last album. Both the energy and the meaning felt like a great starting point to introduce our audience to the new record. How does the album 'Olympian Gossip' contrast your debut 2018 record 'The Great Filter?' Would you say the new record showcases your band's growth and experience over the last four years? The new album definitely feels like a forward progression from our first record—both in songwriting and tonally. As for many musicians, the pandemic forced us to reanalyze how we approach creating music, and I essentially locked myself in my home studio and worked on self-producing this album for about two years. A lot of that time was spent failing on ideas that seemed too grandiose at the moment. By reaching for something bigger, I feel like the end result shows a growth that could not occur in any other way. The new album is something I'm truly proud of, and we can't wait to hear what the world thinks. What's next for you? The writing never stops. There are already plans for new music to be recorded. The goal is to keep creating and putting music out for our amazing and ever-growing fan base. We will also be hitting the road for some dates to support the new record as well! Instagram Facebook

  • Adams Traktor Found A Way To Open Up Our Hearts With His New Hit Single

Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Adams Traktor is a music project formed by JR Smith to explore, expand, and in many ways, bend the music genres that have influenced progressive modern music. The brand-new single, "You Found A Way," was created thanks to a collaborative effort made by JR (songwriter/vocals/guitar), Gregory Darling (producer, keyboards, and magic), Manny Elias (drums), special guest Fernando Saunders (bass) and Olda Krejcoves (guitar). "You Found A Way" opens up with an intriguing airy sound, then immediately hits us with a bop. JR's voice is the perfect combination of smooth and raspy, giving the record a romantic and rebellious edge. The warm guitar riffs throughout the record give the song tremendous character. It plays as a second vocal giving the song two voices. The rhythm of the soft yet hard drums and bass and the fun keys combined with JR's energetic and emotional performance have us dancing freely. Arms waving while singing, "You found a way to open up my heart," JR's catchy lyrics have us hooked. With elements of rock, pop, and 80's era synths, "You Found A Way" gives us a cinematic experience, creating a journey in song form. The foundation of the song is loosely interpreted from JR's own experience. In his words; "When someone, whether it be intentionally or accidentally, stumbles into your life that isn't a little (or a lot) dark around the edges, is consistently optimistic and upbeat, tells it like it is, knows themselves, accepts you as you are and shares your views and aspirations alongside their own, you should pay a whole lot of attention. It may not last forever. You Found A Way" tells an unforgettable story through its positive and upbeat notes, well, until it isn't. You'll have to watch the music video to understand what that means. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Adams Traktor, and congratulations on your new single, "You Found A Way." Can you please tell us a little bit about the moment that sparked this song to be created? Absolutely, the answer is kind of two-fold… The majority of our songs tend to be a little, or maybe a lot, on the darker side, especially the lyrics. So… my partner dared me to write an upbeat, positive song for a change. I have to admit, as a dark soul myself. This was more than a small challenge. It's not so hard to write a song that feels happy from a musical point of view but not so from a lyrics point of view. It took us months to get both to jive. The second part of the equation is that Olda (on lead guitar) wanted to write an extremely simple song with a catchy hook but incredibly basic lyrics so people could relate to it easily. And when I say basic - I mean basic, basic, basic… In the end, I think we managed the first part as an upbeat and positive story but failed miserably to keep the lyrics simple. Glad you like the end results, though. The production of "You Found A Way" is brilliant! Many pieces had to come together to create this record. Can you give us a glimpse into the creative process? Was everyone in the studio together at the same time when the song was being made? From a production point of view, Gregory Darling at 2 Lions Studios did an amazing job arranging and adding real depth and life to this track. He is a seasoned musician and producer. With respect to the creative process, I came up with the initial verse hook on the guitar, which kind of naturally evolved into something bigger as we added more layers with input from the other members of the project, including Gregory. The foundation for You Found A Way was written a couple of years ago but did not come to life until we all put our minds to it. "You Found A Way" allows us to escape into the freedom that the song emanates. Is there a specific message or feeling you wanted to get across to your audience with the release of this single? There definitely is a core message we are trying to get across. When someone, whether it be intentionally or accidentally, stumbles into your life that isn't just a little (or a lot) dark around the edges, is consistently optimistic and upbeat, tells it like it is, knows themselves, accepts you as you are and shares your views and aspirations alongside their own - pay attention, grab it and hold on. You Found A Way tells that story. It's a positive, upbeat love song. Well... until it isn't! You'll have to watch the vid to understand. We love that you've combined a vast array of styles to create a fresh new sound that is also reminiscent of previous eras. If you could collaborate with any artist or band (dead or alive), who would it be and why? That question really makes me smile. I'm glad you feel that way / and see our music in that light. If I could collaborate with any artists, it would be as follows (not in any particular order). Bowie: The depth and diversity of his talent will never be matched. What I could learn… Muddy Waters: So much of rock is influenced by this master of blues. Possibly one of my favorite artists of all time. Trent Reznor: I know you can't hear it in You Found A Way, but I love the darker side with an industrial influence. Our next release will bring that message home and make this pick more understandable. I still remember spinning "Down In It" back in the 90s when I was a DJ. Chris Cornell may be rest in peace. IMO one of the best writers and vocalists in rock. David Byrne: The diversity and pure talent would open up a lot of doors and creative avenues. Leonard Cowen: Again, no reason needed.Eddie Vedder because he speaks from his heart and his vocal style really moves me. This list is truly endless, so I'll leave it at that. As always, thank you for taking an interest in our music. What's next? We have a lot in the mix now, so expect another single from us in mid-May! Something dark, brooding, and a tad industrial. Paired with instrumentation that drives the emotion deeper into your core, OTB Lucciii glides through the beat gracefully. Each percussion pattern pulls us into this masterpiece as a whole. Accompanied by enticing hi-hats and a mesmerizing vocal sample that sets the riveting atmosphere, this sonic realm that’s tapped into represents Hip-hop. The amount of thought and truth that goes into a track of this caliber is remarkable. We admire the vulnerability he showcases while doing so and how he further displays his lyrical dexterity. Coming in at under three minutes, there are a plethora of facts thrown at you in such a short period. However, these facts encourage you to feel the finer sentiments as you unravel the life of OTB Lucciii. Packing a punch, this is a record you listen to multiple times to reignite the feeling you got when first listening to it. Welcome to BuzzMusic, OTB Luccii, and congratulations on the release of "When I See U." What story or moment prompted the creation of such a personal song? I created when I see you based on heartbreaks and pain that I have been through in certain relationships; it's a message to give out to the females and the ones who went through a breakup in any kind of way that left them hurt or damaged with being in love. Being a versatile artist, what other types of sounds do you have? Do you ever restrict yourself to certain genres or styles? I can do a little bit of r&b depending on the production quality at the studio. When I say that, I mean like autotune. I'm more versatile in rap and hip hop, which means I could do the drill, pain, soul, and club bangers. Could you please share a glimpse into the creative process when bringing this song to life? It's gone open up the ears and bring more light to the females. The first point of view is to get the ladies to like your music; once you accomplish that, you go viral after. What advice do you have for your audience going through a similar hurt as you? Never give up your dreams. Getting hurt in any type of way in life only makes you stronger and is a lesson learned for anything in life. What's next for you? My new single is called "TWIN" it's a club banger. I'm looking forward to making this my biggest project and going viral with it. Instagram Twitter

Welcome to BuzzMusic, Sir Christopher Saint, and congratulations on releasing your latest music video and single for "Happiness." We're obsessed with everything this sonic and visual pairing offers! Could you please take us into the inspiration that brought this concert to life? I love the genuine emotion behind this song. Even though it's a little bit naughty, it is really a sweet pop track about finding your soulmate and true love. I wrote the song with one of my best friends, Brooke Tomlinson, and it was produced by my amazing producer, Will Everett. It has a sassy but colorful Katy Perry "Teenage Dream" vibe but showcases my own spin on futuristic bubblegum. I think the visuals perfectly match the spirit of the song. It makes me happy! Who and what inspires your overall approach to music? Has this evolved over the years? I'm so inspired by icons of the early 2000s like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. Even in the 2000s, I love that core of bubblegum pop music. I want to bring that fun, sweetness, and sexiness into my music. As a queer artist, my goal and mission are to communicate my own version of love. I will keep writing love songs in all genres and styles so that queer love continues to have its place in mainstream pop music. What was it like filming the "Happiness" music video? Who played a key role in the ultimate execution of this vision? It was such a fun day. We shot the visual in the middle of Covid, so we had to have a totally Covid-safe shoot. I got to film with an amazing artist and actor named Conor Sheehan, who is my real-life best friend and muse. I adore and love him so much, and he brought such natural chemistry and comedic presence to the song. You feel a genuine love story, and that's what I wanted to convey… of course, with some eggplant emojis on top. I got to work with my amazing creative team, Victoria Innocenzi, Hunter Gulan, Ryan Jordan, and GlassHouse Visuals, to bring the video to life. What memorable experiences do you have from the making of this masterpiece? Every video has its own special memory. This video was the first video that I really brought this element of my personal style out to this degree. The outfits were MAJOR! I felt like I could fully be me. To work with such a talented artist opposite me, Conor, made me feel so comfortable in my performance. It was truly a magical set about me telling my love stories, and I'm glad to have this video to commemorate this time in my journey. What's next for you? I have tons more songs and music coming out super soon, a short film that will be showcased at various film festivals, and my debut album "Songs About Conor" coming this summer. I hope to continue to connect all of my art and music to a movement of queer empowerment, activism, and celebration as I continue to build my career. Instagram TikTok

Coming to us as an innovative surprise, we are happy to have stumbled upon it; the results are mind-blowing. "Small Talk" checks all the boxes of an eclectic, underground sound that has the potential to reach and connect with a mainstream audience. The saturated croons smother this track like butter on a hot pan through the integrity professed throughout the mesmerizing framework of "Small Talk" the saturated croons smother this track like butter on a hot pan. It's exactly what we need and expects from a soundscape so powerful. Allowing us to bask in the feel-good grooves as we fall into sync with the rhythm, Righteous Minds has us exploring a new world that leaves us stunned. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Righteous Minds! You create a playful and vibrant sound heard in "Small Talk." Could you please take us into the inspiration behind this dynamic record? Thanks! Small talk was mostly inspired by re socializing after 2020. Watching myself and my friends and the world go through so much during that period. Heartbreak, moving to a different city, loneliness, loss, love, just major life changes or discoveries all around. Learning how we all process it at different rates and in different ways. Having something turn your life on its head makes the idea of small talk seem so inconsequential, almost insulting if that makes any sense. It sometimes gives off the feeling that you don't think I care about how you actually feel or what you're going through. Obviously, people want to keep some things private, and I respect that, but I think we can all relate to phoning it conversationally from time to time. We would love to hear more about the creative process that brought this piece to life. Could you please share some details with us? When I was working on Small Talk, I was listening to a lot of European pop music as well as a heavy mix of Y2K era pop and rock. I wanted to make something that sounded like an aggressive rock song that got taken over by Gwen Stefani and Cher. Another big influence was the soundtrack from the movie Drive. In your own words, what does "Small Talk" mean to you as the creator? What do you hope your audience can take away from it? I hit some crazy lows during quarantine and have friends who graciously stayed by my side and helped me stay sane. We were all going through our own shit, but being able to be there and support each other in a very vulnerable and raw time definitely stretched and strengthened our relationships. That's partially what the chorus is all about. In a more abstract way, it's kind of a rom-com. You're not sure if you're chasing someone or being led on. I liked the idea of it being a "who's who?" sort of thing. Writing from the first person can allow for a more ambiguous perspective. It's also a fun way for more people to insert themselves into the story. What have you noticed the most about your growth from the start of your career to this moment? I realize more and more how people are the most important thing in life. We all basically want the same things. A healthy dose of self-awareness can take you places that hard work and talent might not be able to. I'm learning that one of the biggest misconceptions I absorbed growing up was "Work hard, and things will go well for you." It's a completely absurd oversimplification of how society works. That being said, I'm not sure I believe in the idea of a career. I grew up in metro Detroit and watched so many people stressed out and struggling to pivot when their lifelong careers in the auto industry disappeared. Seeing that happen was terrible and also taught me that I can't put too many eggs in one basket. Since then, I've always tried to keep more than one plate spinning. I don't want to get too comfortable or complacent. What's next for you? I'm excited about new music and feel more purpose than ever. I love that lines between genres are becoming more and more undefinable and how that can pave the way for more diverse music communities. I'd like to develop a community around my music that's centered on inclusiveness and being actively informed about how we can continue to learn and grow as people. I'm also working toward making some live shows a reality, hopefully in the near future. INSTAGRAM WEBSITE

Josephine grew up in Washington but spent the majority of her childhood moving around various states. Being homeschooled for most of her high-school years allowed her to truly focus on her love for music and entering the industry. Go and show Josephine Relli some love and stream her latest single, “Slow Down,” available on all platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, JosephineRelli! We are so happy to have you here celebrating the release of your standout single, "Slow Down." Can you shed a little bit of light on the inspiration behind this track? This track was inspired by a relationship I was in while writing it. I struggled with all the outside opinions that others always seem to have when you're in a relationship, and I wanted to write about it a little bit. It started as my way of venting those frustrations, and then sort of took on a life of its own. You have an amazing knack for bouncing in and out of multiple genres, including Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, Alternative, and many more. Is there any genre you haven't yet explored that you want to tap into more with future releases? I have not explored country music very much and am definitely interested in changing that. It's probably the genre that comes least naturally to me, so it will take a bit of practice to figure out, but I'm very interested in doing a country song or album sometime in the future. What sort of listening experience did you want to give your audience with "Slow Down?" How did you want the song to make them feel? Like all my music, I hope that people can take something away from it, something that speaks to them. I try and write everything with enough room for interpretation so that someone can make it their own. I think the best songs are the ones that can really speak to people. Your love and passion for music and performing are extremely apparent in your music. Do you remember where your love for music all began? I think I've always loved music ever since I was tiny. I've been told stories about how I used to put on little concerts as a kid and insisted on singing with my sister and her friends when they played games like Band Hero. I've always been interested in things like musical theatre and have been pretty active in that since I was young as well. The passion for creating music didn't come until much later when I got the opportunity to make my debut album. What's next for you? I'm hoping a lot. I have some plans in the works with new releases and some other projects I'm brainstorming. I'm working my way out of a creative slump that appeared during quarantine, and I can't wait to be fully back and making things again. Instagram Facebook
