The record starts with Lil Forbes focusing on his goals with the tunnel vision he needs to stay locked-in - all he wants to do is stay in the zone. He opens up his verse by talking about the conversation he had with his mom. Saying that she told him to stay chasing his dreams and rarely stopping to rest because what you want is yours if you go get it. He spazzes on about how he's searching for wins in order for him to cross borders and travel the world freely. We can all relate to this feeling of wanting to explore the world, but in order for that to happen, Lil Forbes needs to keep on "Searching For Success" to bring the bread home. We look forward to more from Lil Forbes on his musical journey as he reaches for the heights. Welcome to Buzz Music, Lil Forbes! It's our pleasure to have you here today. This record, "Searching for Success," is highly catchy and inspiring. What moments inspired you to 'pen down' this record and all your feelings in it? Well, it all started when I was home listening to a song called Self-proclaimed 3 by a Canadian rapper named Dax; his music has been inspiring me for so long now, and so his song inspired me, so I decided that no more wasting time it's time I go out there and search for success, and so that's how I came up with the name of my song Searching for Success. We're in love with the production on this track. Who helped you piece it all together, and what was the process behind the creation? Well, my friend, that's a music producer, is the one who helped me with the production of the track. Ever since I started my music career in 2020, he's been helping me and supporting me. When did you first realize making music was a passion of yours, and what made you decide to pursue it? I first realized that music had been my passion ever since I was much younger, listening in my house and stuff. One day one of my friends told me that I got talent. I've always loved music growing up, I've been a huge fan ever since, and I've been a huge fan of Eminem too, cause most of my inspiration came from him, so I decided to try and make a song one day, it's constantly my dream to be a musician. Are there any musicians who inspired you growing up that made your dreams feel real and achievable? Eminem was my idol growing up, and he's still my idol. I look up to him a lot, and I love his music and all he does. What's next for you? Next for me is to get the world to see my talent and see that I have what it takes to be a great musician one day. My dream is to let the world know my name because wherever I go, I want people to recognize me anywhere and see how far I've come on my own. INSTAGRAM
- LNDN Brings His Pop Sound To A "Life Like That"
With a minimalistic approach to the pop scene, LNDN is an up-and-coming artist from Vancouver Island dedicated to connecting with fans through the art he creates. Through piecing together dreamy layered harmonies that speak to the themes of living authentically, LNDN explores life's most important lessons through the beauty of music. His free-flowing vocals' effortless ease has his audience immersed in a heightened state of peace, while the unique soundscape keeps you grounded deep within reality. Taking a listen to the most recent single to grace the music catalog of LNDN, "Life Like That," has us traveling through the depths of the emerging artist's mind. Swooning over his angelic croons, the intimacy professed in LNDN's lyrical motifs is rather captivating. Of course, this is rather fitting "Life Like That" visuals to accompany the sonic bliss. Teaming up with director extraordinaire Graham Dorsay, the two get together to convey a brilliant representation that speaks into the questions and doubts we hold onto. The scenes that occupy the screen mesmerizingly are inspired by LNDN's struggles between moving from rural landscapes and bustling cities to laid-back coastal towns. "Life Like That" explores the moody ambiance that the filmic component carries through color grading. Watching LNDN navigate his way through a wooded area filled with curiosity is a bold expression in this thought-provoking piece. Making his way to freedom, we bask in LNDN's journey as if we're along for the ride. The artistry that has gone into this piece blows our minds with how inclusive it is for viewers to absorb. Letting go of any hesitation and allowing yourself to fall deep into the rabbit hole, "Life Like That" channels the feeling of unbridled ambition as he pushes through the noise to bring lyrical honesty to the mainstream. Welcome to BuzzMusic, LNDN! The music video for "Life Like That" brings us in for the long haul. We couldn't take our eyes off the screen. What inspired this abstract concept for the music video? Thanks so much, that's great to hear! Some of the images just showed up in my head at work one day, like crashing a dirtbike through boxes and the doorframe slamming in the middle of a forest. With everything else, we took the line "Alice through the Looking Glass" and ran with it. That turned the boxes into playing cards, the truck into a tea party, time slowing down, the mirror, the flower petals…etc. What was it like working with Graham Dorsay to bring life into this piece? Can you share any memorable moments on set to make this experience that much more rewarding? He was awesome. He's incredibly collaborative, creative, and hard-working. We just had a lot of fun on set, figuring it out as we went along. I think the funniest moment was shooting the water scene (verse 2). I'm lying down in cold ocean water in January, Graham is ankle-deep, and as he's circling around me, our friend Chris is chucking flower pedals over his shoulder at me. And since we were shooting slow-mo, we had to speed the song up, so it sounds like I'm a chipmunk. We must have looked insane to anyone watching. That scene looks great, so it was worth the near hypothermia. What is the main message you hope to convey to your audience through your art? I don't really have a core message. I'm just trying to be as honest as I can and hope that it connects with people. This industry often encourages posturing and pretending to be something you're not, so if my music doesn't do that, then it's a win for me. How does "Life Like That" represent you as an artist and individual? It's a good summary. The song is kind of an analysis of the past nine years and where I'm at now. I couldn't have predicted any of it. And I'm grateful for a lot of it. And I regret some of it, but if I went back in time and changed some decisions, then I'd find other things to regret. And it represents that brief moment in high school when I wanted to become a career stuntman. What's next for you? I'm writing more songs. I have a collaboration coming out hopefully in the next few months. I'd love to play some shows this summer. So we'll see. I'm really happy with the response to Life Like That, so right now, I'm just taking it in. Thanks for having me on! INSTAGRAM
- Stringz EMB Has His Love "Hijacked"
Sometimes, love isn't hot. Sometimes, infatuation and unfulfilled romantic longing can plunge the afflicted person into an emotional state reminiscent of an ice bath. It's hardly the first time he's turned the trick. St. Louis R&B and soul singer Stringz EMB know exactly what that's like. Showcasing this in his latest single, "Hijacked," we embark on an exploration of love at its chilliest, most relaxed state. Switching to the music video, which Stringz EMB directed himself, the visuals take us to a stark, gorgeous, snow-covered mountain top in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. A tireless performer, he's taken his stage show from coast to coast, sharing stages with ATG of Discrepancies, Lyfe Jennings, Bubba Sparxxx, and Murphy Lee. Over his career, Stringz EMB has built a catalog of thoughtful, emotionally sophisticated, smartly-written soul and R&B songs that have allowed him to be noticed far beyond the city limits of St. Louis. As we feast our eyes on the visual component of "Hijacked," we quickly see how this visual metaphor for the singer's tormented heart is such a pure sight to take in. The crisp, white snowfall in Colorado takes us into the depths of nature as we see Stringz EMB take shelter in the warmth of a cabin. Using this retreat to escape and come to terms with the notions of a hijacked love around him, this striking metaphor has him remaining frozen in time and unable to access the flow of life as he wishes to do so. His ability to communicate such an intricate topic sits with us well as we dissect the refined meanings of Stringz EMB's work. Dipping into the world of genuine love, "Hijacked" is a specific description of an in-between state that everybody has experienced but which few can pin down so persuasively. With tantalizing croons that swoon us into the embrace of the emerging artist, the vital essence of his delivery has us hanging onto each word performed. Easing us into the change of scenery that happens through "Hijacked," it's safe to say that when Stringz EMB is seen with the lover who has captured his heart, he's pointedly at home. But he's by himself when he's in the mountain cabin that symbolizes his frigid disposition, surrounded by high, snow-covered pines and trackless, frosty wilderness. Wandering through the snow in summer fashion, Stringz EMB reveals that his bare quintessence has him exposed, vulnerable, yet somehow unperturbed. Find out about the hype that surrounds Stringz EMB for yourself. Watch the "Hijacked" music video on YouTube today. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Stringz EMB! Congratulations on releasing your latest single and video for "Hijacked." We love just how heartfelt this song is. Was there a particular moment or story that inspired the creation of this record? Thank you so much for having me. I truly appreciate the love and support that I've been receiving for the song and video. Honestly, this song is simply inspired by love. You know, real love. The love that makes your stomach hurt when you conjure up thoughts of what life may be like without it. Love that gets you up every day and forces you to be better than you were yesterday. Sometimes, we have to be reminded that every single day is a blessing. We know that, but at times, we take our walk, our journey, and our experiences for granted. The people placed in our lives are there for a reason. I challenge you to sincerely think about what life would be like without that person who calms your storm. That rumble that you feel... that's love, & you, my friend, have been hijacked. That's the inspiration for this song. Did you have the concept for the music video before or after recording "Hijacked?" What was it like filming the visuals for this piece? The concept for all of my videos is typically thought of during the songwriting process. That's what makes songs easy for me. I write from a visual standpoint, and then I make sure that it's audibly appealing. There's always some type of beautiful thought in my head for the visual. The challenge is bringing it to life, lol. For this one, because of the airiness of the chorus, I instantly had thoughts of doing it within the midst of a forest. I saw myself floating around amongst the trees. When the time came & we decided that now was the time to shoot the video, we chose Denver for 420—it made sense to us. Denver, mountains, cabins, tall trees, forest, beauty. But, little did we know, God had other plans, lol. The day we landed in Denver, it snowed & I mean, it REALLY snowed. 12 -16 inches, to be exact. Our cabin was a 90 min drive into the mountains, so honestly, we just took what God gave us and made it work. It ended up being more stunning than we could ever imagine. S/O to the team. EM Breese, it was actually his idea to fly out to Denver. He actually chose the cabins. Corrie "Films by Ceesz" Hairston, Jr., flew in from AZ to capture its beauty, and my brother Ryan Moore is one of the most dependable guys I know. He's always there to capture the behind-the-scenes feel of every occasion. I can't forget my cousin, James Brown and my sister, Dr. Shamika Cordis. If you're in the Seattle area, she is THEE Chiropractor to check out! Ultimately, we are extremely pleased with the way "Hijacked" turned out. I can't thank my team enough. Always there for me if I fall... lol (inside joke). What memorable moments have made the release experience that much more rewarding? In everything that we do, it's always about the experience. Of course, it snowed, and you can easily see that from the video, but can you really imagine how cold it was? We're not talking, just a cold day. We're talking about a snowstorm in the mountains of Denver. Outside of Chicago or Toronto, I'm not sure if it gets any colder. I was out there in a jacket, no shirt, some of the thinnest shorts in my collection, and some tall designer boots WITH NO SOCKS! The lining of my boots is orange, so every 10 minutes, because of it being so cold, we took breaks. Each time, my boots would be filled with snow, and because of the orange lining of my boots, my feet looked like mutated carrots. Honestly, the whole weekend was pretty nuts, but anything for the shot, right? I do remember being out there, in the middle of nowhere, and noticing that the wifi for the AirBnB was called "Murder Farm." Nuts right? Well, to make it more interesting, they had hacksaws and axes on the walls of the cabins as decorations. Funny joke? Hell no, we were scared out of our minds. On the 1st night, we set up posts. One group would nap, while the other stayed up to a lookout. We were in a cabin, so there were huge windows wrapped around with no blinds, so if they wanted us, they saw EXACTLY what we were doing at all times. The whole time, we were just hoping and praying that we didn't become a scene from one of those "why are you going outside by yourself" movies. We all know the black man dies first, lol. Well, as you can tell from this interview, N*GGA, we made it! Lol. The video was a success and the love we've been receiving has been nothing short of overwhelming. What advice do you have for your listeners going through the subject matter you speak of? To my listeners, my advice is to always remain patient. I tend to struggle with that, myself. Being creative, you're either patient and fall back, or you're aggressive, and you're on the attack. What they don't talk about is that there's a balance. That middle region is where you want to become more comfortable. Search for and discover self. Create a path of evolution for self and within that realm, remain aggressively patient. Yep, aggressively patient. What do you think about that phrase? I may coin it! I wouldn't be me if I didn't advise you to "claim your wins, but please stay humble." Quoted from my hit single, "Perfect." You should check that out sometime. I'm sure you'd love it. What's next for you? Well, here in St. Louis, because of the immense amount of love that I've received so far, I am hosting an appreciation show on June 9th, and it's sponsored by the St. Louis Public Library and a few other huge companies in our area. I want everyone who's been supporting me through this journey of finding myself to have the ability to come out and enjoy the man, the artist, and the creator that they helped to build. I would be nothing without them, without you. I am truly appreciative of the love and continued support and the only way to show them is to show them. Of course, in the meantime, the visuals will continue to come and new content will be created; that never stops. Be on the lookout for the next video, "I Should Be." You're going to LOVE it! Follow me on all platforms. I'm a verified artist on IG @StringzEMB, and be sure to add me to your favorite playlists. Stringz EMB wherever you search! INSTAGRAM

Hailing from Adelaide, Australia, Natasha Bianca is a devoted and passionate Pop/RnB singer/songwriter. Her vocal journey started at the age of six when her parents enrolled her in voice lessons to help with her speech problems. The singing lessons not only helped treat Natasha's speech and language impairment but also led her to discover her love for music and singing. As an advocate of mental health, Natasha hopes to inspire and empower others to focus and chase their dreams through music. Today, she is making her mark in Adelaide's vibrant music scene. She loves collaborating with fellow musicians and is currently working with some of the best writers and producers from Sydney, Australia, and Los Angeles, California. She released her debut single 'Girl Like Me' in September of 2021, which received over 10,000 Spotify streams within the first month of release. With its large appeal, Girl Like Me was listed in Adelaide's CityMag for "Adelaide's best new music." She has also been nominated in WAEVZ Top 50 songs of 2021 and had placed 8th on the countdown against some of the biggest acts in Australia. Natasha played her debut show at Adelaide's Unibar in November 2021 to a SOLD OUT crowd. Natasha Bianca is on the trajectory to become a staple in the Australian music scene. The Top 10 placement in the Waves Top 50 countdown just so solidifies that. Natasha also proves this to be true again with her vibrant new single, "Missing You." "Missing You" has all of the ingredients of a successful mainstream hit! The song opens up with a captivating airy ambiance, followed by beautiful guitar riffs that continue throughout the entirety of the record. The catchy beat that comes in has us bobbing our heads right away as Natasha's dreamy vocals begin to sing us into an enchantment. The beat builds up to the perfectly orchestrated chorus "I'm Missing You - Gimmie one more night!" - the flow and delivery have us singing along instantly. The rhythmic pieces of the single give the song a bright tone. As much as this is an R&b/Pop record, it also includes elements of the islands that make us want to move. You can drive to this song, cry to this song, laugh at this song, and dance to this song. Natasha says, "Missing You speaks about the pain of losing someone you love knowing you can't get them back. How it's hard to comprehend that they're gone and moving on just doesn't feel right. It questions how a living will be the same without them, and you wish you just had one more night together." Welcome to BuzzMusic, Natasha Bianca! Congratulations on your new single, "Missing You"! We adore the energy of this hit record! Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like it! Can you tell us a little bit about the exact moment that sparked "Missing You" to be created? Yeah, Missing you was inspired by the loss of a loved one. I wrote this shortly after they passed away, and it's almost a tribute to them, but I wanted to write this song, so anyone can relate to it. The production of this record has us hooked! Is there anyone you worked on this record with that helped bring it to life? Thank you so much! Yeah, all credits to my producer ChunkyLuv who did the incredible production on the track. Also, my co-writer Erin Mckellar helped elevate this track to another level. We love how honest and relatable your lyrics are. What advice do you have for someone who is going through heartbreak? Heartbreak is always extremely tough, and everyone deals with pain differently. I think the only advice I could give is to be patient and kind to yourself, take the time to process your emotions, don't try to rush your healing. Your story of how you began singing is so organic, authentic, and inspiring! Who are some artists or people who've inspired you the most on your creative journey? I have so many musical influences it's so hard to name them all. I grew up listening and singing to the greats such as Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, but recently my influences I admire and study is Beyonce, Doja Cat, Tinashe, Teyana Taylor, etc. What's next for you? I have a lot of projects on the go, so new music will be coming very soon. Hopefully, some show this year also. INSTAGRAM
- Max Edwards Gives Us A Glimpse Of "Heaven," With His New Hit Single
Max Edwards, born and raised in the mountainous town of Whistler BC, Canada, is a Pop/R&B artist and producer. Edwards grew up in the mountains skiing, biking, and skateboarding, but most importantly, writing and performing music. Singing his first songs when he was just a baby, Edwards was destined to take the stage. Edwards began attending the Nimbus School of Recording and Media located in Vancouver, BC, in 2021. He’s been living there while creating music every day, ever since. Edwards looks forward to connecting with more and more people through music. His ambition is to continue his musical studies, learn more about the industry as well as progress in his craft. His dedication and talent shine through brightly with his newest single, “Heaven.” “Heaven” has all of the ingredients of a hit record! We can hear this song playing across all Top 40 radio stations and college campuses. The song begins with soft chords, which introduce Edwards’s sweet and powerful vocals. As the song builds up, so does Edwards’s performance. The beat drops, picking up the pace and energy of the song, and takes us on a dreamy journey through the mind of a romantic. Edwards describes the feeling of being in love so purely with “sunsets with you in my arms.” He reminisces on those magical moments that most of us are fortunate enough to relate to. The hard-hitting drums, the airy, ambient synths, the catchy claps, and overall production mixed with Edwards’s soothing and vibrant singing create the perfect R&B/Pop song. Congratulations on your new hit single, "Heaven"! We absolutely adore the energy that emanates from this record! Can you tell us a little bit about the exact moment or event that inspired you to create "Heaven"? When I sat down to write "Heaven," I had no idea what I was actually going to write. I just went with the vibe of what I was feeling. It was near Valentine's day, and I was playing around on the piano with some simple chords, and the chorus melody came to my head. Right then, I knew I wanted to write a love song. When I came up with the line "You are my heaven," the rest was really easy to write. When I was writing, I really wanted to write something catchy, easy to sing along to, and relatable. Once I got all the melodies down, the lyrics poured out of me. It's very refreshing to hear such a loving and romantic piece of music! Did the song naturally flow out of you, or was it difficult to release such vulnerable emotions? It was actually one of the easier songs to write, luckily. The only issue I had with it was that I thought it was a bit corny at first. I changed a few lyrics around and eventually became more comfortable with what I was saying. Other than that, I was in a really good headspace, so the lyrics were so natural and meaningful to me. You mentioned that you've been singing all your life! Who were some of your biggest musical influences growing up? Growing up, my biggest influences were Maroon 5, James Blunt, and Akon. I would walk around the house, my neighborhood, and even up on the mountain, singing out loud to their songs. As I grew up, I started to find new artists that inspire me more every day. My most recent ones are Justin Bieber, The Kid Laroi, Dominic Fike, and Ed Sheeran. I get really inspired by their music, and I hope that one day I can meet and collab with them. How do you think growing up in Canada has impacted your music and outlook on the industry? I grew up in Whistler, and there was never a huge scene there, although recently, Whistler has had some awesome concerts, and I've been meeting some amazing artists. I moved out to Vancouver in September to attend a music school called Nimbus. I honestly didn't realize how crazy the scene was out here until I started meeting other musicians, producers, and writers. I was originally planning on living in Van until I finished my course and then making a move to LA for a few months to see what I could do there. After meeting so many amazing people in the industry, I really wanted to stick around and see what I could do. There are lots of people out there who are doing big things, and I hope I can get the ball rolling a bit while still being close to home. I also want to check out other places in Canada like Toronto or Montreal. I know they have a good scene down there, and I would love to connect with some more people and make some music. What's next for you? As of right now, I'm just making as much music and content as I can. "Heaven" was my 2nd single of the year, and I'm excited to share more of my music throughout 2022. I'm planning on releasing a single every month as well as a five-song project in May and October. I have been creating lots of content and videos around my upcoming songs, so I'm stoked for people to see a more visual side of me. I have a few performances coming up in the next little while as well. I also really want to try and perform as much as possible around Vancouver, so I can start getting my name out there. I hope people love what I've been working on. Thank you! INSTAGRAM
- Truly Is "Hellbent" On Giving Us Quality Tunes To Relate To
Based in San Diego, CA, Truly is a singer-songwriter inspired by their upbringing in Nashville. The artist writes their own songs on acoustic guitar, weaving timeless imagery and songwriting beneath a coat of slick pop polish. Fans of Taylor Swift, Foster the People, and Morgxn are sure to find something they like within the artist's catalog. Truly's sound results in cosmic pop poetry, perfect for crying on the dancefloor, driving down a lonely freeway, or sipping herbal tea at 3:00 AM. The latest release from Truly has us navigating through an eclectic universe that spirals us into the inner findings of our mind. "Hellbent" is a track that provides an effervescent sense of anticipation to the musical foundation before us. With meaningful lyrical motifs such as, "Back home they tried to name you. Till the labels they became you. But that town is still the hopeless place you knew," listeners can't help but ponder over the fortified quintessence of "Hellbent." With each sustaining synth note performed, the electronic realm of this otherworldly sound has us fixated upon the creativity that Truly sheds throughout their creations. Allowing us to feel immersed in the song's final state of clarity and the sentiment within the motion expressed, Truly has a knack for making their fan base encapsulate ever-changing thoughts that ride the flow of the musicality. Taking it to the next level with the vulnerability propelled forth, it becomes apparent that Truly's organic state of mind coils each thought into ammunition that draws people towards the overall basis of the rhythm. One song at a time Truly cements their place in this galaxy of warm croons that blanket you in your emotions. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Truly! Congratulations on the release of your latest single, "Hellbent." Could you please take us into the moment or story that inspired the creation of this song? This song was inspired by a single chord. I strummed a D minor on the acoustic guitar and instantly saw a snapshot image of a couple swaying together inside a dive bar. The disco ball shot light along the walls as one lover imagined the thoughts of the other person, who was a little drunk and out of their head. "The night is nearly over, I'm that sleepy kind of sober, and the disco ball is dripping down the room..." How does it feel to now have "Hellbent" out into the world? Was the release of this song one that you have been greatly anticipating? It feels so surreal to be making and putting out music at all. I started writing songs as a way of passing the time during a lockdown. Two years later, he we are... How does your Nashville upbringing play into your sound? Do you find that being based in San Diego has influenced this as well? Growing up, I listened to songs by artists like Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, and Kenny Rogers, who were introduced to me by my grandma. I guess I like to try and follow that country tradition of emotion-centric lyricism, simple melodies, and storytelling. Living in Southern California feels almost like living in a dream. The weather is perfect almost all year round, and the sky can have these incredible colors, especially at sunset. It puts me in this kind of airy headspace, which I like to channel into my songs' electronic production and angelic harmonies. What happens to be your favorite thing about being an artist? I love that as an artist. You are always free to reinvent yourself. If you wake up one day and want to be a folksy, wayfaring strummer, you can. If you wake up the next day and want to be a cybernetic alien prince, you can. Being able to realize so many different sides of yourself is so incredibly fulfilling. I don't know how I went so many years without making art. What's next for you? I have three more songs recorded that I need to release this year. I have written close to 100 songs in the past two years, so a lot of my work is focused on doing justice to those works and letting them shine. I also want to put out a music video and start performing live more, coming to a Super Bowl near you! INSTAGRAM

This type of confidence that seems to be at the front of all of our success stories from PND, Dillion Brooks, RJ Barrett, etc. District 5 is was inspired off the movie District 9, which is this sectioned off part of the city that is excluded from the rest, District 5 is the claim that Mississauga/Brampton is in the same light. To have the project out now feels amazing. The reception has been amazing. Being able to see people feel the same energy I poured into the E.P. being reciprocated is nuts. What was it like collaborating with producer beatsbyfelix again, this time for your full-length project? To be honest, linking with Felix is always an experience. This is actually our second project together. Back in 2019, we dropped "Book of Norman." To me, it's so important to have someone who understands the vision you see, but also the ability to bring value artistically out from being just a producer and engineer. We think about approaches to make sure that the fluidity of the project is cohesive, and then lastly, to make sure the energy is cultivated the right way. Felix, to me, is the best if not one of the best in the city, so anytime we click for music, it never ever feels like work. Did you face any challenges or roadblocks while writing and/or recording this project? To be honest, not at all. I took my time with the project from beginning to end, this being a second project out I knew or, better yet, had more of a feel for what to expect. Everything was planned out well and came out better! Do you have the main takeaway for your fans when they are listening to "District 5"? Everyone keeps telling me, "Bro, this is the one" or "Family, you are talented like actually." Overall it was amazing! I could go on and on! How does "District 5" represent you and help us get to know you better? What impact do you hope to make with this project? I hope that the impact from this E.P. shows other artists we too have the sound of breaking out without needing to sound like no one else. It was important to me that this E.P. carried no politics but just straight music with themes and concepts that everyone from young to old can grasp. What's next for you? Next for me ?? I have a bunch of singles. I'm going to switch it up (Flow) wise and get back to some real internal issues and what's been going on in the world. But for the most part, a wide variety of singles to follow throughout the year most doubt. By the way, N.F.E. merch is coming soon *wink. INSTAGRAM

- Shining A Spotlight On Taurus 1984 With Their Bold Single, “Rosebud”
Taurus 1984 is a UK-based synth-pop duo that includes songwriter/musician Alastair Jenkins and producer/musician Bobby Cole. Together, they work with a regular roster of artists like Shellyann, Dana Jean Pheonix, Synth Siren, and Karl Lewis, who features on the duo's latest single. While we get ready for the album release, we groove to Taurus 1984's newest single, "Rosebud," alongside vocalist Karl Lewis. The song is bound to get you on the dancefloor with hands in the air and singing along to the lyrics. That said, the interesting part about the experience is Lewis' cathartic and angsty performance that sings about a past lover swanning the city while he's left bearing the brunt of a broken relationship. In their exclusive interview with BuzzMusic, Taurus 1984 explains what inspired the song and who. "It is based on a real-life situation that I had conversed about with a dear friend. All of our lyrics are factual and conversational. The song title was influenced by the 1941 masterpiece Citizen Kane, was rather fitting with the lyrical content." They talk about how fun it was directing the music video, shooting the scenes, and adding those vintage styles that make it unique to them. They noted how excited they are for their fourth album, and it's safe to say we are too! Just like a "Rosebud," we cannot wait to see them bloom. Check out their full review and interview here.
