  • Wesdawg Delivers the Heat in “Popular Demand”

WesDawg released his single titled “Popular Demand” and there’s a variety of different elements to this song that had us immensely in love with it. First, let’s start with the production. The beat had a unique vibe that showcased the gritty trap & bass that many of us love, while still giving this theatrical and dramatic atmosphere. WesDawg’s flow was on FIRE. the cadence to his writing ability was catchy itself, but it was his ability to switch into multiple flows and deliver different dynamics ranging from aggression to laid-back, showing his versatility as a rapper. He blends together multiple components into one song that not many rappers have the skillset to do. WesDawg's lyrics were witty, memorable, and quotable. There was a surprise at the corner of each line, that was delivered with a punch of intensity. WesDawg can not only generate a huge buzz due to the trendy aura in the track but “Popular Demand” shows his raw wordplay and professionalism in the way he delivers a bar that will cater well to the old-school lovers of hip-hop. We know WesDawg has what it takes to be the next IT factor in rap. If he continues to produce extravagant hits like “Popular Demand” then he is well on his way to the top of his game. Listen to "Popular Demand" here. Welcome to BuzzMusic WesDawg! What inspired you to pursue “music”? What inspired me to do music was my closes friends and family that had went to prison in 2010 doing the fed time. This is wild because they are still in there to this day pushing me to still pursue and make it big with my music. My family and my squad as well AS1 #IBP Talk to us about the creative process behind “Popular Demand” The creative process behind Popular Demand was amazing. It took me about 30 min to actually write the whole song. Once it was written I played the beat over and over about 10x to make sure it was perfect how I wanted it. Soon after hit my engineer my dawg Russ up and we laced it. The beat was made by a good friend of mine and goes by 100keyz. Tell us about your lyrical approach to “Popular Demand”. How would you describe your songwriting & message behind these catchy lyrics? My lyrical approach really comes off what I’m feeling at the time of writing the song. I feel Popular Demand is more of a statement letting people know even with haters and doubters people still asking me for new music or things like that. This is why at the beginning of the song I say “Back by Popular Demand” pretty much saying the fans want this.! What was the most challenging aspect of creating “Popular Demand” and why? Nothing about Popular Demand was challenging honestly. Recording it and shooting a video were both dope asf. S/O to pathfinderproductions my boi Oscar and Judy. What’s next for you WesDawg? What can we expect from you in 2020? Honestly, I have a whole lot in store coming 2020. Me and the team are going to be launching our IBP hat brand that’s gonna branch off into a clothing line pretty soon. A lot more visuals as well as more mixtapes. I’ve done shows from Colorado to Las Vegas so now trying to get to Cali and to the east coast and soon hopefully overseas. I'm going to drop my first album as well in 2020. instagram.com/WesDawgs_World twitter.com/Thereal_wesley #BuzzMusic

  • Boi Blue Is the Epitome of a Classic Emcee

Boi Blue is bringing back the essence of “Feel-Good” music. The release of his single “4 Tha Luv” transported us back into the urban 90s with the vibe of the song & delivery of Boi Blue. the production of the beat gave you this classic ATL aesthetic through the vintage arrangement. Just by listening to the beat itself you feel like you’re back in the early ’00s and 90s when hip-hop was thriving. Boi Blue raw lyricism and clean-slated delivery showed us that he’s more than just a rapper, but an emcee as well. In my opinion, there are rappers who know how to flow to a beat and cater to the general public, but there are not many rappers who know how to flow, cater to the mainstream, and give us hard-hitting bars and a strong lyrical display, Boi Blue is exactly that artist. “4 Tha Luv” can compete with all the radio hits due to its intricate vibe, and also remain as a playlist hit because its energy is so fulfilling for any type of mood you’re in. The minute you listen to “4 Tha Luv”, you’re instantly feeling relaxed, chilled, and out of tune with any outside stress. Boi Blue’s classic style can be influenced most likely by his early inspirations, influential rappers such as OutKast. You can listen to this soothing single “4 Tha Luv” here Welcome to BuzzMusic Boi Blue! How was it growing up in Atlanta? In what ways were you inspired by your environment? Hey! and thank you for the opportunity. Yes, growing up in Atlanta was very interesting. It’s a very cultural city, I mean a ride through Midtown can feel like an adventure sometimes. So much history in one place, its definitely a place that I’m passionate about. Your song “4 Tha Luv” was a super cool vibe record. What was the meaning behind the well-executed lyricism? It’s definitely a vibe, as soon as I heard the beat I thought..this is so 90’s! It reminded me of old school hip hop that I grew up listening to and that played a big part in the way that I wrote the song. Biggie Smalls “ Juicy” was one of my favorites..so I thought what would BIG say. What were some of the challenges you faced writing this record? How did you overcome the obstacle? Writing this song wasn’t that difficult for me, but recording it was. I’m a very passionate artist and I’m serious about the craft. I actually recorded this song in 2017. I’ve recorded this song 7 times because I wanted to find the right sound. Almost three years and six engineers later we found “that sound”. “4 Tha Luv” was the epitome of a feel-good classic hip-hop single. What motivated the production of this beat? How would you describe the creative process to “4 Tha Luv”? Wow, thank you so much!! The creative process was a lot of fun my producer was playing around with old samples, he came up with the track in like a day. Most of our sessions are in house based so we always vibe well, nothing different really but that first line set the whole song off “ black and I’m crispy h***s used to diss me” we knew that we had something. The first verse and chorus was all freestyle, I wrote the second verse tho, I really wanted to motivate the listener. The title 4 the Luv represents the love for my city, and the love for hip hop. What are you looking forward to in 2020 Boi Blue? Sky’s the limit really! My debut album will be out at the beginning of the year hopefully, and touring is on the agenda as well. instagram.com/iamboiblue #BuzzMusic

  • Find Comfort in Linneah New Release, “Season’s Greetings”

Linneah is proof that you don’t always need formal training to chase your dreams. Starting in high school this young artist taught herself guitar, drums, piano production and mixing using Google as her teacher! In her final year of school, she decided it was time to leave Fort Walton Beach, Florida and move to Los Angeles to expand her musical interest. Here she studied audio industry from the Los Angeles Recording School. Linneah's work is influenced by pop-punk bands as well as previous experience working with EDM DJs. 2018 was a big year for her as she worked as an assistant engineer to Matthew Weiss on Akon’s debut Spanish album, “El Negrito” as well as other artists including; Beck G  Ozuna and Nicki Minaj. Prior to this, she released her debut name, “The Roommate”. A self-taught and aspiring artist, Linneah recently released her newest single, “Season’s Greetings”. Inspired to bring comfort to those who may be spending the holidays alone or recovering from a broken heart or post-breakup bitterness. With sarcastic cheery vocals, jingle bells to get you in the holiday spirit and relatable lyrics with an 80s twist, her single has a lot to offer. Linneah has no problem exploring darker themes and pouring her heart out. She sings with emotion and gives the listener an emphatic ear. “Season’s Greetings” is comical and extremely entertaining. The perfect way to get back at an ex for the hardships they may have caused. Listening to this reminds me of “Ur So Gay” by Katy Perry and Fall Out Boy's "Yule Shoot Your Eye Out" as all of these artists tastefully bash ex-lovers. This song is completely original and I can honestly say I’ve never laughed so much and enjoyed a holiday song like this before. To whoever hurt your heart Linneah, we agree, they should spend it alone! Listen to "Season's Greetings" here. Hi Linneah and welcome to BuzzMusic! We love your edgy style. You are extremely talented and it’s inspired how to started picking up music. Can you tell us what led to the decision to teach yourself all these instruments and skills? Thank you! I genuinely appreciate the kind words. I'm definitely an introverted, extrovert. I found myself loving my solitude a lot as a kid, and learning new skills has always been what I have done to pass the time. The first time I remember hearing someone play the guitar live, I immediately went home and told my Dad I want a guitar. He told me I had to earn it, so I babysat my neighbor's kids until I had $100 and got my first guitar. After that, I was obsessed. I started writing songs almost immediately after learning a few chords. “Season’s Greetings” is such a unique holiday song. You’ve definitely opened up a new avenue not many artists have ventured. How does it feel to be a pioneer in this area? I wrote it during a time I was feeling very bitter everyone else was so happy that it was Christmas, and here I was spending the first Christmas after a really bad breakup alone. Christmas music is mostly positive and cheery, and I knew I couldn't be the only one feeling like this during the holidays. I really wanted to make it the anti-Christmas song, while still keeping the Christmas spirit alive. Your track is so comical it reminds me of some of Katy Perry’s work, is she one of your influences? If not, who? I do highly admire Katy Perry's work and think she's very talented. This wasn't influenced by her though. I was actually inspired by Fall Out Boy. They have a song called "Yule Shoot Your Eye Out" and I was blasting this song thinking about the same ex Season's Greetings is written about. I really wanted to make something similar since there aren't many mean Christmas songs. You flawlessly combine pop, hip hop, and Christmas into one. How have your past experiences helped to create this track? I love pop music, I always have. I liked hip hop as well, but after going through a really hard time in life, my friend introduced me to some really great alternative hip hop artists, and their music helped me get through so much. I wrote a hip-hop song called "Grinding like the Geres" to thank her for helping me get through that time (their last name is Gere). After making that song, I had some friends really motivate me to keep rapping, and I had so much to say at the time about my story, it really helped me release a lot of it. I love all genres of music and really wanted to combine my love for other genres in my sound as well. Thank you for being with us. Having worked on other artist's music as an assistant engineer do you have any interest in collaborating with others and if so, who? Thank you again for having me! This list is incredibly big, but a few at the top right now are Halsey, Macklemore, Fall Out Boy, Chelsea Cutler, Role Model, Dominic Fike, Fletcher, and Taylor Swift. • Where Pop Intersects with Electronic Dance in “Canvas” by Adrian Jauregui

Music production has always been a passion of Adrian Jauregui, starting from the age of 17. This Los Angeles native from Pico Rivera, California aims to produce a unique experience for fans by combining pop and electronic dance genres into one astounding piece. To be released in the coming weeks, his first EP titled, “CANVAS”. Within the first few seconds of listening to  “Crossfire”, I was hooked. Adrian pulls you in with exciting and entertaining beats along with strong vocals. The incorporation of mysterious, female features (Breana Marin) gives this song an additional layer of depth as the two work in unison to create this astounding track. The chorus reminds me of a younger Jason Derulo with similar vibes to the song “Solo”. Jauregi waving vocal range and particular emphasis of words additionally give off a Chris Brown vibe. “Crossfire” beautifully depicts a conflict between lovers, a common theme many can relate to. This track will have you feeling, dancing and remembering past experiences. Adrian completely captures the essence of pop culture while incorporating his individualistic blend of EDM. Adrian is a triple threat and will no doubt go on to become a successful; singer, songwriter and producer. We love Adrian's musical expression and can’t wait to hear more! Listen to "Crossfire" here. Hi Adrian and welcome to Buzzmusic! How does it feel to release your first EP? It's insane and feels so surreal. Honestly, it's pretty crazy that a person's imagination can become a reality! But extremely excited and blessed. Crossfire is such a unifying piece both musically and lyrically, what inspired this creation? I found the producer on social media and enjoyed his beats, once I heard this particular beat, I fell in love with it and began writing. The storyline behind "Crossfire" relates to a past relationship. I attempt to be as transparent as possible to let my listeners into my life. We like your ability to fuse pop and electronic sounds together, which artists how become muses or influences in your works? I absolutely love Pop, however, musicians such as Diplo, Skrillex, Kaskade, and Calvin Harris are a huge impact in my sound. “Crossfire” has such depth and is so enjoyable to listen to. How did you and Breana meet and did you both work off each other's vocals to create this track or did you select her after the fact? Considering we live in the 21st Century, it's crazy that artists and musicians no longer have to be in the same room. This song was worked on remotely. In fact, Breana pre-recorded the hook and I bounced off her voice. However, the chemistry between both of us created such a beautiful melodic sound! Thanks for chatting with us. Tell us do you have more singles in the works or any gigs we can follow you at? I have a single dropping on Black Friday called NOVA and my EP dropping early December! You can follow my journey on social media @ajauregui28 on IG. I love interacting with all my fans and love collaborating with other artists if anyone is interested! instagram.com/ajauregui28 #BuzzMusic

  • Kd Spencer Has What It Takes! Listen to New Track "VELVEETA"

Hey KD Spencer! We're excited that you could take the time to talk with us and our readers about your most recent music! How do you feel now that "VELVEETA" is released and available for all ears? I feel it’s a great energetic song with a positive message and the beat is in favor of the young generation to bring light on both crowds. It's incredible how young you began your career in the rap game. Do you feel that you've changed the vision of your music from when you first began your artistry? Not really I have always been a lyricist I just have a different vibe of beats nowadays. If I’m not doing conscious songs I’m doing party/club joints I’m a versatile artist. With musical influences such as Snoop Dogg, 2pac, and DJ Quik, how do you feel your music compared to the very artists you look up to and are inspired from? Good question we’ll I think I get my smooth clever style from ‪Snoop Dogg‬, my love for melodies and storytelling from ‪DJ Quik‬ and my prolific conscious comes from 2Pac. Tell us more about your creation of "VELVEETA" and how your vision came to be about for this track? Well, one day I just decided I wanna mix the old and new, the old style of having good lyrics with meaning and the new style with up-tempo energy in the beat, that way it’ll be a different vibe versus just a regular lyrical song so I can capture both generations. And with me discussing money as cheese or Velveeta that will attract people because money songs always get attention. You really seem to be killing it in the rap game! It was great to feature you and talk more about your sounding. Where does your focus go from here as an artist? I just wanna be heard more because I really have a message people of all races, nationalities or creeds can relate to once they tune in. I do party music for clubbers and conscious songs for thinkers so it’s no way not to like a song by me. I also am a songwriter and producer that maybe a little more of my focus in the near future however I’m always an MC. Listen to "VELVEETA" here. #BuzzMusic

  • Getting to Know German Artist Tarun

Hi Tarun and welcome to BuzzMusic! Tell us what was it like to be contacted by Geo Slam to collaborate and how this will impact your career as an artist? Hello, BuzzMusic, first I would like to say that it is a great honor for me to be part of your program and that you would like to report about me. When Geo called me, I thought it was a joke that friends would take the liberty of making with me. It was my 52nd birthday and we were just sitting in front of the TV. But very quickly I realized that it could not be a joke. After I understood what it was all about, I was positively shocked at first, then I thought to myself that it was actually time for something like this to happen! Geo then showed me, in our recording session and beyond, what I was actually capable of. I wasn't aware of many things myself. Basically I  didn't even know my own voice volume. Geo led me to my musical and vocal limits and showed me that these only existed in my head and that I limited myself in my abilities. In the meantime, we have recorded some songs which will be released bit by bit. Among them are duets with interesting and highly talented singers from almost all genres of music. Being a vegan and someone who has influenced the pub industry in Hessen (being the first vegan and smoke-free location), what is your goal or message you wish to convey with your music? The music is the dominant one, but still only part of a bigger project that Geo and I came up with. We use different art forms to bring nutrition, environmental and climate protection even more into the focus of people. The message should be conveyed with fun and through many songs, pictures, photographs, art actions, etc. that appeal to the masses without moralizing or denunciating. It should at least be stimulated to think about the topics. A foundation for the support of animal grazing farms for primarily farm animals is also a goal of the project. "Together we can make a change!" We know you have a very defined and unique vegan rock poetry style. What inspired this fusion? I was once singer of a Deep Purple Tribute band and later of a David Bowie Tribute band. We wanted to unite these two actually opposing music styles. The result was a song that combines industrial, pop and classic rock into a mixture that is probably unique on the international market at the moment. We put a strong message on it that can appeal to anyone without feeling attacked. The polyphonic part of the choir stimulates to sing along and thus the message "Together we can make a Change" gains special energy and strength. Imagine 10 or 15k people singing this part. I already get goosebumps and a broad smile on my face when I only think about it :) Who are your greatest influences and how has your music changed over the years? The first part of the question is really very easy for me to answer: The Beatles and David Bowie. I love them! I have sung in many cover bands and tried out almost all styles. I did Blues, Rock, Classic-Rock, Hard-Rock, Soul, Funk, Pop and certainly some other things I don't remember right now. I have always enjoyed playing with my voice and trying out new styles. I will continue to do this in the future, as you will see in the next songs from me :-) Thanks for chatting with us at BuzzMusic! We're excited to hear more of your works, do you have any albums or tours planned in the coming year? A lot is planned for next year, but also this year a lot will happen. In December I will release a pop-punk duet with a blind street musician from Cologne. Of course there will also be a video to "Manimals" and the lyric video to the song will be released in the next days. The release of my single with Iness Voca is planned for January and at the end of January, I will be back in the studio for new songs. Of course, you will be able to see me live next year, but I don't want to tell you too much about where and when yet! I would like to thank you very much for your interest in me and the interview and the associated support for my work and my project. You are doing a great job and I am very happy to be a part of it. Hey, CA$PER and welcome to BuzzMusic! We love when artists like yourself using music to express their individuality. What do you feel makes you stand out from other rappers? I think the one thing that makes me stand out is that I do my own thing and I don’t follow anyone, I make my own lane. I feel like my music has a unique style and a unique vibe to it. Which of your originals was the most musically and lyrically challenging and why? How did you overcome this obstacle? I would say the most challenging song I ever did was the most personal song I’ve ever done. It's a track called “Think Of Me” it’s about growing up without a dad in life, it was a challenging song because it was a topic that I never shared with anyone until that song, it helped to do the song knowing there are people out there that can relate to growing up without a dad, it was a personal song but it’s songs like that that make a good artist and most people can relate to deeply personal topics like that. What inspired you to become a rapper? I got inspired to get into music growing up listening to artists like Three Six Mafia, Eminem, Lil Wayne and a bunch of other artists,I just always loved hearing people get personal in their raps so I started making beats because I was a huge 36 mafia fan and they made their own beats so it turned into me rapping and I got hooked, I’m inspired by all types of music, I love the concept of making music, I respect all types of music. What is the message you are trying to convey in your music? The message I’m trying to send in my music is to just be yourself at the end of the day and don’t be afraid to do what you want and be who you want,I just wanna help people get threw the day whether it’s a song I did about partying or being mad, sad or happy, or a personal topic. I wanna be able to rap for a living and inspire people at the same time, I honestly feel I was made to do music. Thanks for chatting with us, what can we expect from you in the new year CA$PER?
