Matia is a talented singer/songwriter currently gigging in the SoCal area. Her second album “There Is Love” highlights Matia’s incredible vocal range and musical simplicity. The stripped down acoustic tracks make the listener really hone in on Matia’s incredible vocals and honest lyricism. A mother, a healer, a musician and a multilingual intelligence—all feeding into a world of song and lyrics. Matia is a strong, new and original voice with a fabulous story and a commitment to honesty and deep song writing integrity. Featured on her album “There Is Love” is the heart-wrenching ballad “Extraordinary”. Grab your tissues, Matia’s angelic voice will give you goosebumps and bring you to tears if you’re dealing with any kind of heartbreak. “Extraordinary” talks about the one you love or a past lover telling you they’ve found someone “Extraordinary”. It can be interpreted as a positive message, being happy that someone you care for has found their new love, but the raw emotion and powerful tones of Matia’s lyrics brings so much emotion to the table. I love the simple, yet beautiful piano that flows freely throughout the song. “Extraordinary” showcases all of Matia’s undeniable talents. From the emotive lyrics, the stunning delivery and the flawless instrumentals, Matia is the one to watch. Check out “Extraordinary” here and read more below in our exclusive interview! Hi Matia! We love your voice! Have you had any vocal training? How did you get started making music? First, THANK YOU for the kind words. That is a very sweet compliment :) I had a bit of vocal training when I was younger, yes, but I feel that my most significant vocal work came through the process of recording my first album Blind, with my producer Ken Mazur. Although he is not a vocal coach, he is an incredible talent, and a huge part of that is his ability to work with his artists in what he is able to bring out of them. He gave me many examples of recordings by various female singer/songwriters I had not given any thought to until he explained what to listen for, and suddenly, I really understood. He really helped cultivate my vocal execution. Can you tell us about the meaning of the lyrics in “Extraordinary”? Well, I think the interpretation of any work of art is left to the person who is enjoying it. The beauty of art is that it may be interpreted many different ways and none of those ways is incorrect. One of my favorite songs is by Peter Gabriel, and I have read what it is that he was speaking about in that song. But, to me, it is about something very different, and my understanding of what it is he meant does not minimize what it means to me. Extraordinary, is to me, that each of us really only wants to feel like we are that special unique person for someone else. In the story of Extraordinary, the person telling the story just found out that (her) partner left her for someone else that they found extraordinary, but all along, she thought that he felt that way about her. Her heart is broken. Recently, I took a part of those lyrics and related them in a FB post to how an animal feels when it has been abandoned by their human, left in the woods or on the side of the road, or in some shelter....alone. It has gained massive attention. Each of us, human or animal,....all living things, want to be loved, special. It's nature. This is the meaning of the song Extraordinary, for me. What’s the biggest problem you’ve had to overcome so far? My story is quite long, so this answer could be quite detailed. I have had many very real and difficult struggles in my life. I have written about this considerably on line and in interviews. But to keep it as short as possible for the sake of this interview, I had a life altering change when I was young because illness almost took my life. That journey forced me away from music and took me on an unexpected ride of saving the lives of an enormous number of people around the world over an unexpected career in alternative medicine. And just as unexpected as that was, more unexpected opportunity brought music back into my life again. And, here I am two albums later, playing with some of the most seasoned, well known players of the last few decades. Playing with the people I do, makes me want to pinch myself...that they want to play my music. What do you enjoy most about being an artist? For me creativity is a life force, whatever that creativity may be. Writing music is only one way I create and, it provides me the ability to take the problems I have experienced or that I have observed in the world, and make sense out of them. My favorite thing about that is singing my lyrics on stage and seeing the people I am able to touch with those thoughts and connecting to their emotional response. It's like, in that moment my heart is speaking to their heart. Seeing the impact that my song has on them is a profound feeling that I cannot explain. Making a difference in people's (and animal's) lives, in whatever way I can, is the reason I do everything I do. If you could change anything about the current music industry, what would it be? This is a really difficult question. I am unsure how to answer it. As with everything in life, it is based on human nature. Music is no different. It has it's own life force that is determined by the current culture of the time. One cannot change that, but can only hope to find a place within it. I have found mine with the amazing people that I get to play music with. If nothing else, I have that and to know that I have touched the lives of many people with my songs. If one day my music gets more notice than that, that will be a cherry on an already really great cake. Connect with Matia on social media www.instagram.com/matiamusic
- Read All About “Company”, 3409’s Contagious Debut Track
3409 is a 4-piece collective from Toronto, Canada that refuse to conform to one genre, but instead authentically experiment in all sound classes. 3409 have predicated themselves on sonic innovation while harnessing the more traditional aspects of songwriting they’ve grown to love. Bent on flipping the convention of a traditional band on its head, 3409 is comprised of two producers and two vocalists who’ve built their craft around honesty, hard work, and loyalty. With their debut single “Company” out now, 3409 are now preparing themselves for their next single, produced with Dan Kurtz (Dragonette, The New Deal). The boys are eager to continue exploring the intricacies of the millennial mind with their genre-bending sound. 3409’s musical debut, “Company” is a summertime demo that delves into the difficulties of casual dating while proving to be a culmination of their roots. The fusion of diverse musical backgrounds and knowledge is evident through the free flowing intricacies of “Company”. A a more high energy pop vibe, “Company” is layered with rhythmic texture and infectious melodies to make you vibe along. 3409 includes unique and echoing vocals, groovy beats, and a short and sweet rap verse to keep the listener interested. His bars are flawless and smooth as he recites a witty verse while remaining relevant. 3409 is an impressive collective with a refreshing and explosive sound. We love what we’re hearing so far and can’t wait to see what they bring to the table next! Listen to “Company” here and read more with 3409 in our exclusive interview below! Hello and welcome to BuzzMusic! Can you start by introducing yourselves? How did 3409 come to fruition? We’re 3409 and we’re a 4-piece band out of Toronto, Ontario. Our group consists of two producers (Danny Del and Izzy) and two vocalists (Dante and Ro). We started making music together under the impression that our two producers were going to help launch each vocalist as separate identities but quickly realized that much of our passion for music came out of collaboration and learning how to communicate with others. It wasn’t long before the four of us started spending 12 hours a day writing together, trying to figure out how to one up our last set of songs. It was this drive and ambition that caused Dan Kurtz (Dragonette, The New Deal) to take an interest in helping us see past our individual selves in order to create something fun and unique, thus 3409 was born. Can you talk a bit about the creation process for you debut single “Company”? What inspired it? “Company” was a bit of an oddball in the sense that it was driven primarily by our two producers. Del and Izzy were both listening to Kaytranada and wanted to create a tune that had a memorable melody with a groovy summertime bounce. It took them about 30 minutes to finish writing the instrumental track, starting with the main chord progression and percussive tracks while ending with the vocal chops. On the other hand, Dante and Ro both struggled with their parts as neither of them listened to dance music before this song, leading to its unorthodox structure. After seeing the vibe created from this beat firsthand through Izzy’s friends, Dante and Ro were both motivated to lay something down that fit with their personal styles without taking away from the style’s energy. Sometimes it takes personal experiences to relate to something new, both in life and in music; for them, this was “Company”. How does being based in Toronto influence your sound? In its own way, Toronto has influenced everything about our sound. For starters, it’s one of the most diverse cities in the world, culturally speaking, which has a huge impact on the music created within the city. Even amongst the four of us we have a South African, Puerto Rican, Carribean-Italian, and an American-Nigerian; half of us are also Jewish meaning we’re 100% minorities. Just like our city, we didn’t want our differences, both culturally and musically, to get lost in translation. We’re in love with the eclectic vibrance and use it as fuel for our songs. Toronto is also a hotbed for hip-hop music making it really easy to mix and match styles since everyone listens to everything giving us the leeway we need to experiment. What is something you’d like your fans to know about your collective 3409? We’re all about being genuine and transparent. We care more about real connections and figuring out how to relate with everyone we meet. One thing we’ve learned is that even through all of our differences we share similar feelings and go through similar experiences. It doesn’t matter what you look like or where you come from, if you’re honest and know yourself it isn’t difficult finding people who support you through and through.Oh and ya, we’re a boy band, and yes we’re still gunnin’ for ya girl. What’s next for 3409? We’re releasing our next single, “Crunch Time”, on August 29 through all streaming platforms. We’re really excited about this one because it’s got a little bit of everything; live instrumentation, more hooks, and a music video shot by our good friend Jimmy Vi. After that we’ll be releasing a few more singles before the end of the year. We’ve been working hard preparing for live shows, so definitely keep your eyes out for that 3409 set! - BRAND NEW MUSIC: Maddy Carty Has You Feeling Charmed In Recent Single "Shout The Loudest"
From London, UK, we bring the BuzzMusic community singer/songwriter Maddy Carty. Maddy has already released the album "Come and Get It", which introduced an addicting tone and rhythm to the listener. From here, we knew we were a fan of Maddy's music, and continued to dive deeper with her sound. If we had to categorize Maddy's music, we would say it acquires elements of various genres, which is truly the best kind of blend you can receive from an artist. Maddy incorporates old-school R&B tones with eclectic pop rhythms in order to create music that is purely unique to the listener. Maddy's music comes off as courageous, sophisticated, and overall integrates a genuine sanguine atmosphere. Her recent release, "Shout The Loudest", will have you wanting to shout with passion, as Maddy takes her listeners on a buoyant ride with her sound. Maddy Carty has an undeniably sultry and alluring appeal in her latest track "Shout The Loudest". Released today, Maddy showcases the utmost confidence in her music that not only makes it incredibly catchy, but gives listeners a sense of dominance throughout the track. "Shout The Loudest" is strong and empowering--we can only assume that Maddy's performances are absolutely electric! The chorus rings "Giving you too much for too long, you aren't gonna win the battle", exhibiting Maddy's strength to rid herself of people and/or elements that take and take from her. "Shout The Loudest" is uplifting, and we couldn't have imagined a better artist to spread their courage and honesty better than Maddy Cartydid in the single. Be sure to discover Maddy's "Shout The Loudest" here, and continue reading for the artists interview! Hey Maddy! Great to have you on BuzzMusic, and congratulations on your recent release! Tell our readers a bit about yourself as an artist! Well I've been writing and singing since I can remember. Music was always a big part of my life, and I grew up on a really eclectic range of music so I've been influenced by lots of different artists, but I was always really into lyrics over genre. I think I have a pretty soulful sound but I've always found it hard to fit myself into a specific genre tick box! I just love telling stories and being honest through my songs. Also, I'm lucky to be able to work with other talented people and just see where the music takes us. What lyrics in “Shout The Loudest” would you say is the most impactful for the meaning of the song and why? Oooh that's a tricky one! I think my favourite part of the song is the middle 8, so "my dissatisfaction, is becoming a pattern...my dissatisfaction will create a reaction." I just like the attitude and strength in those lines. It's basically saying, you won't get away with it, and it feels like a real rebellion. Did you feel that the message you integrated within "Shout The Loudest" was easily portrayed to listeners? I hope so! I think it's quite a relatable theme. Someone mistreating you, but you finding the power and standing up for yourself and for others. I think it's relevant to a lot of things going on today like the me too movement and fighting for women's equality. It's calling out misogyny and things like coercive control and saying 'we will be heard'. Knowing your music is heavily reflected on your personal life experiences, what are some challenges you may face in writing a song? Has it ever been tough for you to channel in certain emotions? I always make a joke at my live shows about the fact that I'm not the master of happy! My songs tend to be angry, or sad or somewhere in between! I have a couple of happy songs but they are definitely too rare! I guess music can be a form of therapy and maybe that's just what comes out when I write, but I would like to add a few more upbeat numbers to my setlist. I'm not miserable in real life, I promise, just in my songs! I think I just write about things that make me feel something, so my songs can be political, or social commentary or very personal. Just depends on the day! Are you planning on releasing any more singles throughout the rest of 2019? I have a few more tracks in the pipeline and I would like to release another track before the end of year and keep the momentum going. I'm really excited to be working with 418 music for 'Shout The Loudest' because I know they work hard for their artists, so I want to jump on that opportunity and run with it! I also write for other people so have things coming out in between which is always a bonus too. Dario Angelo is a new and exciting rapper and talented artist who grew up in Ireland but at the age of 17 gained a scholarship to a performing arts academy in London. There he studied music, acting and dance but later dropped out to pursue his true passion in music. Dario was a professional dancer for 7 years whilst in London but his main focus has always been music. He began writing and recording and soon started to catch the eyes of producers in the US and Europe. Since then he has been putting in work in the studio with some of the top producers and artists in the game. He is heavily influenced by Kpop culture and EDM and he is exactly what the music world needs right now. Dario Angelo is now working on his debut EP in Los Angeles and is set to make waves in the industry with his latest single “MULA” with the boys of Wanna Wake. “MULA” is an absolute smash! The explosive intro maintains the same energetic vibe all the way through. Dario Angelo delivers fiery bars and flawless lyricism. The boys of Wanna Wake fuse and EDM and K-Pop sound together seamlessly. Dario Angelo puts his own personal and original flare on a modern sound and the music is well mixed but not over produced. “MULA” features no lulls or pauses. It’s an upbeat and high energy summer track that I’ve been bumping on repeat. Dario makes music that his fans can relate to and that’s what sets him apart in today's music industry. “MULA” is a fire track and will be bumped in clubs in all summer long. “MULA” is a catchy banger that’s on it’s way to the top. If you haven’t heard it already, I highly recommend you check it out and keep up with Dario for his future musical endeavors! Listen to “MULA” here and read more with Dario Angelo in our interview below. Hi Dario! How old were you when you released your very first track? I was 22 when I released my debut single “Booty Call”. It was basically my first music child and it’s what crossed me over from a dancer to a recording artist. I was absolutely terrified but I had good people around me so it definitely lessened the blow. How does your earlier music compare to your recent release “MULA”? ”Booty Call” was really just me testing the water on what sound I really wanted to do. I’ve always been inspired by Kpop and EDM and knew I needed to incorporate that into my music but finding the right producers was a major key element in bringing my vision to life. The boys of “Wanna Wake” did exactly that and we’ve created one of my favourite tracks. It incorporates all the things I love. Catchy lyrics, build ups that will blow your mind and drops that will get you head banging in no time. I can’t wait for the world to hear it. Tell us what you want your listeners to take away from “MULA” I am very big on feeling and how music makes you feel. When I listen to MULA I feel confident, I feel powerful and I feel strong. That’s exactly what I want my listeners to feel when this track plays through their speakers or headphones. I want them to block out the world for 3 minutes and go absolutely fu*king insane. Do you have diverse influences that add a unique flare to your sound? How so? Growing up in the 90’s I was heavily inspired by Pop music. Britney, N Sync and Backstreet Boys were legit my life. This is where my love for music and dance started. I literally knew every routine. I watched their videos religiously everyday after school. The music channel was on morning to night in my house and there my eldest brother introduced me to rap. It’s all he ever listened to so in turn, being the youngest, it was all I ever listened to. This is where I believe the Kpop influence in my music comes in as it’s a mix of all 3. Rap, pop and dance. What inspired you to keep making music everyday? Honestly, my family and myself. If you don’t inspire yourself how are you going to inspire a generation. Everybody has their own personal struggles, I definitely had my fair share of ups and downs but the only thing that kept me going was my family, myself and music. It was the driving force behind everything I did. I’m a massive visionary. I envision and manifest my dreams everyday and all I want to do is perform, inspire and provide. The ideology that I could help someone the way others have helped me really helps keep the fire inside burning. - Lucy Clearwater Releases First Single, “Feel Again”, From Upcoming EP
From the San Francisco Bay Area, Lucy Clearwater is a gifted singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has established her craft and is still in her early 20’s. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2016, she has recorded and released two singles, performed sold out shows at The Hotel Cafe (one of LA’s most renowned singer-songwriter venues) and gone on two solo international tours. Lucy appeared on ABC’s American Idol in 2018, and is now working on her new EP “Feel Again” as well as planning her upcoming Australia tour for September 2019. Angelic vocals immediately grab attention in Lucy Clearwater’s new single “Feel Again”. The melancholic, stripped down, ballad sends goosebumps through my whole body. “Feel Again” beautifully portrays the feeling of longing and human struggle with craving emotional connection. Lucy sheds like on the heartache and pain that comes with modern dating and everything in between. Driven by Lucy’s powerful vocal range and contagious melodies, “Feel Again” showcases her true, raw emotion and lyrical skill. The first single off of Lucy’s upcoming 6-song EP is an absolutely spectacular piece of musical brilliance. We love what we’ve heard from Lucy Clearwater so far and we can’t wait to see what she brings to the table next! Check out “Feel Again” here and keep scrolling for more with Lucy Clearwater. Hi Lucy, welcome back to BuzzMusic! Can you tell our readers a bit about how you got into creating music? I grew up in a household where creativity and original thinking was encouraged. At the ripe age of four, my mother bought me a violin and began teaching me classical music, while my musical father inspired me to sing and write songs. Around the age of twelve, I entered into a school competition with an original song, ‘Come Back Home.’ My self-made recording proceeded to win first place in California and second in the nation, earning me a moment on stage in front of 5,000 people in Anaheim. That was my first taste of being in a big spotlight and I fell in love with it and knew I needed to be doing this for the rest of my life. “Feel Again” is a powerful track! Can you tell us the inspiration and writing process behind it? ‘Feel Again' was written after a meaningless hookup where I felt a desire for something deeper. As a young adult in LA, I was definitely influenced by our modern "hookup culture" to be satisfied with meaningless physical relationships, but I began to feel empty, and realized that as humans, one of our primary needs is true connection, care and affection. The song was written in the moment when I realized I wanted more. Literally a few weeks later, I met the love of my life (like the answer to my "prayer"). Lucy, how has this single been different than anything you've released previously? This single is different than anything I've released previously because I feel like for the longest time I was searching for my true sound and trying to figure out what it was that I have to say. As artists, I think this is something that we all struggle with initially, but I'm super excited about this track because I finally feel like I've found my voice. Not only that, but I've found the right people to work with to help bring it to life. My incredible producer Justin Glasco is largely responsible for many of the stylistic choices in the production and I feel like we are a really great match and he truly understands the sound and image I am going for with my music. How do you feel about today’s mainstream music? What makes you stand out? Though my roots were originally geared a bit more towards totally raw, organic, and acoustic production styles, I think that there are so many more incredible possibilities with todays technology and I think it can really take a song to the next level. Part of what makes me stand out is that my song can stand completely on its bare bones and still be a really great tune. The more modern production is just an addition to add some sparkle to what is already there, and that is unique. Sometimes, it doesn't matter how cool or fresh your production is if the song cant stand alone. But when the song is really there already, there is an incredible opportunity for it to be raised to the next level. What’s next for you!? I'm super excited to announce that the music video for 'Feel Again' will be coming out on August 9th! Shortly following that, will be the next single release at the end of August, and then I'll be jetting off to Australia for a 2 week tour in Melbourne and Sydney. Upon my return, I'll be gearing up to release the full EP. About the EP: The single ‘Feel Again’ is "the prayer" asking for real connection and emotion with a partner. ‘Say The Word’ is the classic girl meets boy and puts heart out on her sleeve: "if you want we can try, darlin im all in, just say the word” ‘Distracted’ that awkward moment when the relationship gets complicated and they run into each other at Hotel Cafe (heartwrenching, relatable for everyone in our community) ‘Restless’ is simply a good old happy love song. ‘Insecurities’ details the ultimate bliss in a relationship, as you realize how much your partner makes you love yourself: "all my insecurities strangled in the light of your affection” ‘I Choose You’ is about about real commitment. “I sang this at my dads wedding last year. The whole EP kind of takes you on a journey through longing for love and then finding it, and experiencing all types of emotions.” The 'Feel Again EP' takes the listener on a journey/storyline from start to finish, of the search and longing for love and emotion, to finding it and experiencing all the different rage of emotions (good and bad), from honeymoon phase to the hard work and deepening and strengthening through truly getting to know another's colors, and finally ending on a song about commitment and 'choosing' to love. I am so excited to share all of this new music with my listeners and hope to gain some new fans along the way :) Connect with Lucy Clearwater on social media www.instagram.com/lucyclearwater

Mechanical Roots, composed of Kev O'Brien, Zach Gaston, and Patricia Teles, is your modern day alternative rock band that's giving listeners some serious music to digest. Hard-hitting execution is an understatement for the musical offerings of Mechanical Roots. The band knows how to intertwine various musical elements, such as contemporary rock with post-alternative rock, and they do it with such ease. There is not a single element to their music that is out of place. Mechanical Roots put the "mechanical" aspect in their name quite well, as their seems it was executed with grace and finesse. Mechanical Roots latest single "Day Dream" is definitely what will make us keep an eye out for the band! Mechanical Roots has a genuinely rustic tone and rhythm upheld all throughout "Day Dream". Being their most recent single release, Mechanical Roots showcases their heavy-hitting sound in "Day Dream", and break through some of those post-alternative rock barriers. The brand new music video for "Day Dream" is out now and we can't get enough. The visuals perfectly personify the message that Mechanical Roots is trying to capture. The love and chemistry is easily seen, as this perfect woman is scene in a breathtaking red dress. The rock-love ballad continues and we see blurred scenes of this woman, as if she's a "Day Dream". The aggressive guitar riffs really stand out throughout the track, and compliment well under the vocalism tied to the track. There's a formidable grungy element to "Day Dream", and it's evident that the execution was spot on. As listeners, we feel that the track offered so much dynamically. The vocalism embodied authentic rock, while the overall production offered a more contemporary take, making for a track that is undeniably badass. We're keeping ourselves peeled to any musical updates on Mechanical Roots, as this rock band goes above and beyond with the alternative elements they bring to our favorite modern rock sounds. Give a listen to "Day Dream" here, and keep reading for Mechanical Roots interview! Check out the brand new music video below! Hey Mechanical Roots! Welcome back to the BuzzMusic community! Please tell our readers what you've been up to last time you were featured?! We are very excited to announce that we are working on our new album. We are currently writing and getting everything ready before we hit the studio. Not sure when the album release will be BUT stay tuned because we are hustling. What are some challenges you’ve faced as a group during the creating process of your music? How do you overcome those challenges? The biggest challenge we face is dealing with the heat in our rehearsal room! When it comes to writing, we move pretty quickly. We all understand where we want the music to go. Sometime writers block gets the best of us but we have so many new things to work on, we just move forward to the next task. “Day Dream” had a potent lyrical presence to it. What was the major theme and motivation behind the single? The hardest part about being an artist are the sacrifices you must make. That includes not making as much money as you might working other jobs, late nights/ early mornings and the biggest one is trying not to distance yourself from loved ones and friends. It can be extremely tough mentally to try and make any dream come true. As long as you have your “rock” who supports you and believes in you, it makes the journey that much easier. Tell us about how you feel when you're up on stage performing, and how the crowd's energy is during the performance?! Performing is the greatest feeling ever. The only feeling that competes is when you look out at the crowd and see smiling faces and people jamming out to what you have created. Sometimes it’s hard to express your thoughts and feelings via words so music is the best way to get the word out! People definitely feel that when you are in a crowd at a MechanicalRoots show. What can we look forward to next from Mechanical Roots? We are working hard on finishing the writing process on our new album. We also are looking forward to touring next year and playing more festivals. We are always on the move and won’t stop until global warming has ended us all! Come to a show and say hello. We are all about meeting new friends. Keep up with Mechanical Roots on social media! www.instagram.com/mechanical_roots www.facebook.com/mechanicalrootsband #BuzzMusic
- Jason Arias Stuns With “Shine” Ft. Matt Arias
Jason Arias is a talented musician based out of Riverside, California. Jason started playing drums in his local church when he was about 13. In his junior year of highschool, he began playing his music production but he never dreamed of taking it to the level he’s at now. Thanks to his best friend Ricardo, in 2014 he convinced Jason that his music was good enough to start releasing and we’re so thankful he did! A year later his Debut EP “The Sixth Year” was released. He released my debut album “Contact “ under Calmex and decided after that to become an independent artist and release his music 100% himself. Arias creates music that can give the listener a type of escapism from the real world, a place to turn everything off and let the mind go off on its own journey. Jason Arias’ newest single “Shine” ft. Matt Arias is a powerful and meaningful emotional ballad that anyone can relate to. An aspiring wordsmith, UraelB’s endgame is to provide knowledge to his listeners and create massive change for people all around me, in one of the dopest ways humanly possible. UraelB started an independent music collective called Respect The Real LLC. (RTR) in 2018 and added in friends in college who produce/mix/master/rap/sing. The hard-hitting track “Fall Back” that we’re bumping on repeat! UraelB’s infectious vocals and smooth delivery draw in the listener and demands to be heard. He weaves through storytelling elements of his come up in the rap game. He describes unloyal people that are in and out of his life while he’s on his grind. These people are not supportive and he’s always falling back from them. His ability to stay versatile is admirable, whether he’s singing the catchy hook or spitting poetry he does it flawlessly. No stranger to success, UraelB knows how to curate music that all listeners can vibe to. The trials and tribulations he’s faced in his lifetime have only made him a veteran rapper at a young age and he’s definitely the one to watch. Check out “Fall Back” here and read more below in our exclusive interview. Welcome to BuzzMusic! Let’s talk about your dope new single “Fall Back”. What’s the meaning behind the lyrics? This is an anthem you dedicate to all doubters, haters, and the wishy washy people you come across. This song is about grinding no matter who supporting; Those who are, show them mad love. Those who aren't, that'll change real fast. You can't get mad, upset, or cry about people who don't wanna be down with you. You just got to "Fall Back," simple as that. How do your musical influences inspire your sound? I get inspirations from people like J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar who have a way of spreading messages that people can relate to and use for life in an attention grabbing and catchy way. The goal for me when making a song is to always have fun and drop knowledge; Thats the best combination. What do you hope your listeners take away from your music? Anybody listening should be able to takeaway that you and only you can be the biggest contributor to your success. Believe in yourself before expecting or wanting other people to believe in you. How has your sound developed and changed over the many years you’ve been working at it? I've been able to evolve a great deal because I started taking influences from multiple artists across different genres. Melodically, I love listening to artist like Childish Gambino, Chromeo, Erykah Badu & Earthgang because they all have unique vocal inflections and cadence choices. For lyrics, rappers such as Ab-Soul, CyHi The Prynce, Lil Wayne and J.I.D. stimulate my creativity and wordplay so I can find variations of saying bars in ways that most people wouldn't expect or they find impressive. Do you have any upcoming shows or events you’d like to talk about? No upcoming shows at the moment. Just be on the lookout for the music video for Fall Back with my guy Sambo to drop real son, and two more dope songs and projects coming out. Shout out to my Respect The Real (RTR) family and the VHS/Get Rich Team! Keep up with UraelB through his socials: www.instagram.com/uraelb www.instagram.com/rtr.music #BuzzMusic
