  • Powerful Lyricist Champ Adom Drives “Exodus” Forward Off His New Album, “The Block Is Hot”

Champ Adom is a 23-year-old artist from Raleigh, North Carolina who's been writing music ever since he was 10 years old. An instrumentalist as well, he crafted his skills from the ages of 7 and 8. This includes trumpet, piano, and guitar. He’s currently enrolled in Berklee College Of Music and has been studying music business. He plans on being independent until he gets signed to Dreamville. Champ Adom released his album titled “The Block Is Hot”, and one extravagant single off this project, well one of many, would be the single titled “Exodus” which features Shaniqua McCants. “Exodus” fits into the category of “Conscious” rap in my personal outlook. It has a well driven and strong presence in the lyricism that enlightens a sense of awakening. What do we mean by awakening? It doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with the universal consciousness but has everything to do with being aware of the feelings you feel from this song, the vibe you receive, the atmosphere it brings, and more. Everything goes hand in hand with one another in “Exodus” becoming a united force of energy that intrigues its listener. Champ Adom reminds me of the powerful hip-hop artists who knew how to deliver great lyrical content such as Kendrick Lamar, J.Cole, Nipsey Hussle and more. Champ Adom has well-detailed artistry that’s equipped with unpredictability. You can’t predict what direction of his music it's going to take you next, due to his multitude of diverse storytelling he can bring to the table. “Exodus” was just a small offering of the masterful collection of records on “The Block Is Hot” Listen to “The Block Is Hot” here and get to know more about Champ Adom below! Welcome to BuzzMusic Champ Adom, we’re happy to have you! Knowing you’re striving for the label Dreamville, what about them do you feel represents your artistry? Thank you for the opportunity, what i like about Dreamville is they have so much potential. A true powerhouse, that will completely shift the music game. They are special to me because, I’ve been a fan of Cole since 2010 and I’ve seen him first hand build this empire he has from the ground up. With it being the home team, it just means so much more. Everything Cole stands for, his energy, just how he moves in this game. Is everything I strive to be in my own way. Much respect to the rest of the artist. Very talented group of individuals. And I believe we are all on the same frequency musically. Talk to us about “The Block Is Hot”. What was your vision for this album? Well the term ‘The Block is Hot’ originally refers to police surveilling a particular area more so than usual which causes disruption and for people to be more attentive than normal. Not by any means likening myself to the police lol but im playing off that little bit. I believe me being new to the game, I’m coming in to shake things up, turns heads, and have other artist watch they moves more carefully. I am coming in to completely disrupt the music game. With a new message, a new belief system that I believe will inspire many. And as far as the cover art I believe it just made sense you get inspiration from the movie “Next Friday” for the premise is almost the same. With Ice cube coming to a new area and shaking things up making everything hot. Plus I’ve always like the the movie poster as Well. Are there any personal favorites off “The Block Is Hot”? What was the most challenging song for you to create and why? If i had to choose, I would say mastermind and blasphemy. One cause mastermind I feel like has the most potential and it’s such a vibe. A true bop i feel like it’s up there Da Baby’s “Suge” and blasphemy is a personal favorite as well as a people’s favorite. Which has the most streams as of right now. My first music video will be blasphemy and I know I’m going to shake things up with the visuals so I can’t wait for that. The most challenging song would probably have to be “Exodus” Only because finding a singer with the right tone, right voice, was a little bit of struggle but I’m thankful Shaniqua McCants for elevating the track for me. In what ways does “Exodus” relate to the theme of “The Block Is Hot” as a whole? This whole EP is to show my potential as a artist. Show what I have to offer the game and why i deserve to be a staple in this game. As far as the song goes, I feel like anybody that listens to exodus or anything else on the project will see potential in song writing, lyrical stamina, flow, and just an ear for good music. How has Summer been treating you? What’s next for the Champ Adom? Summer has been great. I can honestly say this is the best year I have lived. Mentally physically spiritually. I’ll be 23 tomorrow so this is my Lebron year, and I have to show out the rest of the year. I want to put out a single this month as well as the Blasphemy video. Also possibly another project before the summer ends but we will see. And just continue let people know who I am. • Ascent Delivers A Powerhouse Single With “Beacon Eleven”

Ascent is just as musically appealing as their creative dope name! This hard rock duo based out of Orange County, California performs complex arrangements of their original, emotional, thought-provoking songs, using live loop to create a unique sound. Dominated by Christina Baldwin’s vocals and Bruce Baldwin’s guitar, this husband & Wife duo is a force to be reckoned with! Together the two released the electrifying hit single titled “Beacon Eleven”. In this striking and trailblazing record, Ascent delivers a powerful blow to their listener with an iconically driven electric energy. “Beacon Eleven” delivered strong imagery in the lyrics and was complemented by the video released to the song. The guitaring by Bruce was riveting. Every strum he made had an impact on the arrangement of the record. The way he produced a satisfying development from start to finish and maintained consistency was amazing to witness. But don’t sleep on Christina! Her lush vocals and fiery texture to her voice carries the listener through the wave-lengths of “Beacon Eleven”. If you are looking for a classic Rock & Roll hit to take you through a transporting place back in time where music was raw and extravagant, then “Beacon Eleven” is the song for you! Listen to "Beacon Eleven" here and get to know more about Ascent below! Welcome to BuzzMusic Ascent! Knowing you two are a husband and wife duo, mind telling our readers how the two of you met and decided to form this project? One evening, Christina answered a newspaper ad for a melodic vocalist, which led her to Bruce’s door.  After jamming with the band twice she was selected as the singer.  Over time, the other band members dropped out, making us as a duo.   We’ve turned this into an advantage by embracing live looping, which allows us to sound like a full band on stage, while keeping the music 100% live. At least a hundred songs four EPs and one LP later we are still performing, creating and connecting with listeners all over the world and local audiences. We are also still happily married and more in love than ever. How has the journey been so far performing with your significant other? It’s made us better!  We have a level of close communication that other bands never attain.    We’re able to work on music whenever we want to, allowing things to grow organically. Now let’s talk about the music! Who are some of your influences or inspirations for your killer artistic style? We are influenced by progressive rock, hard rock, metal, and pop.  We love complex and thoughtful bands like Tool, King Crimson, Yes, and Bent Knee.   Christina is influenced Motown, R&B, Goth rock, and great singers like Ann Wilson.  Our sound is dark, hard, intricate and soulful. We loved your single “Beacon Eleven”! What was this about? What inspired you to write this? Bruce: The song is based on a repeated guitar riff of eleven notes.   I’m somewhat obsessed with prime numbers - I’ve also written in 13, 17, 5 and 7.   I had the riff and the lead guitar melody, and it was originally going to be an instrumental called “Eleven”.  I think the timing creates a sense of urgency. One day, I got stuck for a while reading Wikipedia articles about the Channel Islands.  I was particularly interested in the story about San Nicolas, where a woman was left stranded there for many years, the last surviving member of her culture.  Shortly after that, I went out on a long bike ride.  I tend to write lyrics in my head while out on bike rides.    The song is about loneliness and isolation.  I imagined being lost at sea and encountering this isolated person, sensing the loss all around, yet being unable to communicate. Any exciting upcoming performances Ascent? We are playing at the Orange County fair, on the Plaza stage, on July 19 at 5:30.  We have regular performances all over Orange County and LA County.   The best way to stay on top of where we’re playing is our website, www.Ascent.rocks What's next for you? We are writing and recording new songs for a new LP by the end of 2019.  We released our “Bleed Like Us” EP online last September. • RETURNING: GR3YWXLF With Latest Single “MAD."

We’re welcoming back a BuzzMusic favorite: GR3YWXLF. A hip/hop artist that is crafting his pure and honest sound track by track. We’re pleased to bring back GR3YWXLF to all of you BuzzMusic readers—he’s undoubtedly a multi-talented artist, and can show off his artistic abilities through the curation of his music. GR3YWXLF combines the most popular and respected elements of the hip/hop scene, and mixes it together with his vision on what great music is. Through this, GR3YWXLF produces tracks that are significant in both meaning and execution. This is why we had high hopes for GR3YWXLF’s most recent single “MAD.”, and after listening, we knew he surpassed them. GR3YWXLF is back at it, curating music that is beyond catchy, and gives you versatile production methods. “MAD.” gives us similar vibes to the sound of a blended Kendrick Lamar and 6LACK. The twist in tone GR3YWXLF maintains throughout his tracks is phenomenal. We appreciate the level of talent this takes to create such a track filled with unique expression, and a type of flow that is almost impossible to fabricate as a recording artist. GR3YWXLF never disappoints us, which is why we’re psyched every time he comes out with a new track, because we know we can feature quality music that our listeners will appreciate and vibe along to with us. There’s a genuine equilibrium that GR3YWXLF resonates with in his tracks, especially so for “MAD.”, and we can feel the depth in his vulnerability throughout the track—he peels apart himself in front of his listeners through his flowing lyricism. Another great track from a great artist, and we’ve already added “MAD.” to our playlists! Check out “MAD.” here, as well as GR3YWXLF’s exclusive interview below! Hello again GR3YWXLF—welcome back! How’ve you been since we interviewed?! Yo! Thanks for having me back once again! I've been all good, busy trying to stay on my creative grind but can't complain! Tell us more about your latest single “MAD.” and your truth behind the track? So my latest single, "MAD." was actually inspired by an argument I had with someone who was really (and I mean really) dialed up in their feelings. Instead of allowing myself to be consumed by how frivolous the exchange was, I took that and used it as a springboard to explore ego and stunt a little bit for this vibe. I suspect they are probably still quite salty right now though, but hey such is life. We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: your music has an incredibly heavy lyrical presence to it. What’s the most important element to you that you want to have your listeners resonate with as well? Ah big love, thank you! I'm all about crafting music with some form of substance so I'm really glad lyricism is shining through thus far. That's a really good question you pose, and I'd say the most important element to me is "realness". Nowadays its easy enough to spend 2-3 mins saying mostly nothing over a beat, bragging about things most can only imagine. I just want some form of relatability to resonate with listeners, whatever the mood, whatever the song is. What is your life’s philosophy? Everybody has got a role, no matter how big or small you perceive it. The most important thing is to play your part to the best of your abilities. Also, effective world domination. The aim is to rule the world, since I'm a super villain and stuff so that's the other mantra. We’ve been loving all of the new tracks you’ve put out lately. Please tell us that we can expect to see more throughout the rest of 2019? Appreciate you greatly! Real happy you have been enjoying the drops so far that truly means a lot! You most certainly can expect to see / hear more throughout the remainder of 2019, I've set myself the target of releasing every month so rest assured I'm going to be hitting you with music for a while yet. Cooking up all year! Stay connected! Instagram: www.instagram.com/gr3ywxlf Facebook: www.facebook.com/gr3ywxlf #BuzzMusic

Born and raised in a small town just outside the capital of Denmark, BuzzMusic presents talented singer/songwriter Casper Fonberg. I highly recommend you add it to your summer 2019 playlist and check out the rest of Casper Fonberg’s repertoire. Check out “Skinny Jeans” here and keep scrolling for our exclusive interview! Hey Casper! Welcome back! Can you start by telling some of our new readers a bit about yourself? Yeah, sure! Hi! My name is Casper Fonberg and I’m a Danish singer/songwriter. I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember and listened to music even longer. I grew up in a family with a very wide spectrum of musical preferences, fx we listened to a lot of Michael Jackson, a lot of Linkin Park, Eminem, Rammstein, Chris Brown, but Cher, Anastacia, Evanescence were also enormous parts of my childhood. I remember my very first concert, it was Linkin Park in Forum, Copenhagen 2007 and it was just massive. I remember that as the first time I, conscientiously, thought about standing on a stage in front of a huge crowd. Obviously, all these different artists have shaped my music taste today and has influenced me to make the kind of music I make, but I would say that I do make pure pop music, then people can discuss afterwards where there are hints of other genres. What have you been up to since your release of “Lost In The Seven Seas”? To be honest, I haven’t actually been up to a lot when it comes to the music. I released my debut EP in February, which met so many warm responses. The EP was about my life up until now and how it unfolded, which means that it was quite dark in some aspects, to be fair. It has performed quite well in my local area, and I can see that Australia and Norway are biting on to it, which makes me very proud. But after the EP release, I played a few places here and there, but other than that, I just went around chasing inspiration for what was next, which turned out to be “Skinny Jeans” We love your new track “Skinny Jeans”! Can you tell us more about the meaning behind the lyrics? So, Skinny Jeans is actually quite meaningful to me. It’s about the love that you simply cannot have, no matter how hard you try, and the disappointment of not being able to accept that. The song resembles what I have always been writing about, which is hurt and pain. But this time, I wanted to make a song that I could listen to and smile, even though the background of the song was nothing to smile about. It gave me the idea to have fun with it and just let it all go, and suddenly, the song included sex, the crossing of boundaries with other people and the longing of people that starts a fire in your imagination. But after a while it started to feel empowering to me. I could literally sing whatever I wanted to sing about and whatever feeling I had in my body. I have never sung about empowerment, so that was quite interesting, but I’m so happy with the result and it has made me keener on making more up-tempo and up-lifting songs. What do you hope your fans take away from this song? I hope people will listen to the song and remember that everything doesn’t have to be so serious. Of course, nobody should do anything they don’t feel like doing, but other than that, just relax, have fun and cross some boundaries, because I believe that it will give more positive baggage later on. Take chances and never look back. Be a good person, but also stand up for yourself – always. This is my song about empowerment, and I believe that people are still too closed-minded. What are some challenges you face during your writing process? How do you overcome these challenges? I go into writer’s block quite easily and when I do, I just let it go. I stop working on that particular song, because everything I come up with during a writer’s block, is pure bullsh*t, to be honest. Just move on to the next song, because tomorrow or the day after or the next, you can go back and finish the first song. What is important is that you don’t just stop entirely. Stop writing on those 1, 2 or 3 hits and then let your bad songs flow, because then after some time, you’re ready to finish the hits and maybe write some more hits. What’s next for you? My position in the music industry is still very, very new and what I have to fight for is still recognition. So, what’s next for me is to keep making music I believe in and get more jobs, which will enable me to come out and interact with the people who listen to my music. • “Sensational” New Track From Austyn King Will Make You Get Up And Dance

Residing in Las Vegas, NV is talented singer/songwriter/ producer and multi instrumentalist Austyn King. His smooth motown flavored approach to R&B is what sets him apart in today’s music industry. Appealing to both young and old, Austyn versatility and creativity fuse to create perfect blends. Growing up in a musical family Austyn learned at an early age that music was his passion and quickly began taking up drums, violin, guitar, keyboards & most importantly his voice. As part of a religious family, Austyn knew his beliefs and feelings towards religion were different. Throughout his teen and young adult years, Austyn saw the musical landscape evolving & felt that it was best to be an independent artist. Over time, Austyn found not only his voice, but he found resilience in being an advocate for the LGBTQIA community as well as the non-religious community. Since releasing his critically acclaimed “Art, Music, Life; Vol. 1 & 2” EP’s, Austyn King continues to stand by his motto of being a socially conscious music artist that allows the music to speak with conviction. The third & final installment to the "ArtMusicLife, Vol. 3" will be a continuation of that & more. Featured on “Art, Music, Life; Vol. 2” is the heavily R&B ballad “Sensational”. An empowering anthem that will make you get and move, “Sensational” boasts old school R&B elements fused with a contemporary new wave sound to create a sound that authentically is Austyn King. His expert vocalism flows freely while he weaves through the catchy hook and flawless verses. Austyn’s vocals have sultry blues undertones layered with confidence and original swagger. “Sensational” is a song that anyone can vibe along to at any occasion. I highly recommend you check it out! Listen to “Sensational” here and read more with Austyn King below! Hey Austyn! Welcome to BuzzMusic! What made you start taking your music career more seriously? I started taking my music career more seriously at the age of 12 when I saw how the lyrics/melodies/productions that I created weren't just my favorite past time. I saw how the artists I looked up too impacted me & I desired to be that to anyone who listened to what I was creating. Whether it was watching Janet Jackson on HBO for the first time during her "Velvet Rope Tour" era or it was seeing B.Slade on the Stellar Awards making his first debut televised performance, I just knew I desired to be like those individuals. How do you think your upbringing affects the music you create? My upbringing has a big space in how I create the music. I started sequencing/making my music productions on a Roland JV-35 keyboard/Roland DR-770 drum machine thru midi connection to a computer program called "Master Tracks Pro 6". The discipline I learned from using those tools & resources are essential in my creative process. And just being around talented people in Rochester, NY always had so much influence in how I write, how/what I sing or produce. The R&B music that was being created and curated when I was in high school just helped you escape from reality. So I do my best to evoke those emotions thru the music I create. My upbringing also has given me so much insight on what needs to be said and heard. I have a song on "ArtMusicLife, Vol. 2" called "LoveMe" which talks about that specifically and how I literally was told what I can be, who I can be and who I should listen too. So when I create my music, my desire is to help whoever hears me to be inspired and not dictate what/how you should feel or who you should be. What do you hope your listeners take away from your track “Sensational”? I remember writing & producing this song. The melody line I interpolated was from "Dr. Dre" & of course he also sampled George Clinton. "Let Me Ride"'s chorus involves both a sample and an interpolation of the chorus of the 1976 Parliament song "Mothership Connection (Star Child)", which itself quotes the Negro spiritual "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot". "Let Me Ride" also samples James Brown's "Funky Drummer" and Bill Withers's 1973 single "Kissing My Love"." Those songs, the artists & producers affected me & my sound growing up directly & indirectly. So I thought about the significance of how music should feel & I desired that anyone who heard this song "Sensational" felt that same way I felt creating it whether they are riding with the top down, in the club or in a bathtub. I just want everyone to feel & see themselves as I see them, and that's "Sensational". What’s your writing process look like? What challenges do you face and how do you overcome them? My writing process is all over the place to be honest. I could be out shopping or going to get groceries. The inspiration literally could come from being romantic, buying some strawberries & whip cream for the one I love, and then boom a song is born. I let the experience of life & art speak to me so that when the people hear it, they know I took time to let it speak to me before I prepare & serve them with what has awakened my creativity. The biggest challenges I face as a songwriter is finding the healthy balance to write the songs and lyrics that don't have to be too deep. Sometimes life just isn't that deep and sometimes it is, It can literally be just taking your words and turning them into "Roses" (that's how I got the song "Roses In Words"). Meditation has been my saving grace when it comes to overcoming the common writers block we sometimes have. What can we expect from “Art, Music, Life; Vol. 3”? Volume 3 of "ArtMusicLife" is a continuation and conclusion. It's in your face. The production and the writing are directly intentionally created to be in your face. Each song has a theme of "reclamation". Volume 1 was about making a declaration. Volume 2 was about making affirmations. Volume 3 is all about the desire to get back to what I know I am and have always been as a songwriter, a producer but most importantly a human being. I went through some shit creating "ArtMusicLife, Vol. 3" as you will hear on "Can't Let Go" & "Dedicated (NoneOfMyBusiness)". So this last chapter in the "ArtMusicLife" series is a definitely all about real life stories, heart felt melodies & artistic expressions to inspire the masses one song at a time. Stay connected! • Tre Beats Is Killing The Game With “Young Kanye”

Tremayne also known as Tre beats from Stamford CT. has been producing beats for 7 years and rapping for at-least 6. He released his single titled “Young Kanye” featuring Shizzy. The production of this beat was killer. It had a unique vibe with mysterious energy. It was the perfect foundation for the rapper to lyrically spit a story. Now let’s dissect the straight-forward delivery and flow, the lyrics in “Young Kanye” were the real, authentic, and complete opposite of transparent. The rawness in “Young Kanye” is what makes you a fan. The lyrics were bold and unapologetic, while also maintaining its thought provoking appeal. Both Tremayne and Shizzy have two different approaches and tempos in their flows, yet they still come together to deliver a nice fusion of like-minded talent that executes when they step behind a mic. “Young Kanye” was a fire song with nice dimensions of versatility and diverse elements. If you’re longing for a new hip-hop song to get you through your day, then we recommend adding this to your personal playlist! Listen to "Young Kanye" here and keep scrolling for our exclusive with Tremayne! Welcome to BuzzMusic Tremayne! Mind telling our readers a bit about yourself? My name is Tremayne Crumbley aka TRE BEATS I am 25 year old producer/song writer  from Stamford CT and Ive been making beats for 7 years now. I just started rapping at the end of last year so I still have a long way to go but I’m taking it just as serious as producing beats. What’s the most challenging aspect for you as a producer? How do you overcome certain obstacles? Honestly writing is my biggest obstacle to date. It’s easy for me to put sounds together to make a beat but sometimes I find myself struggling to come up with lyrics but it all comes with the process. I still remember when I was making low quality beats and with time I built myself into the producer I am today. If I apply those methods to rap than I’m certain I can overcome these obstacles. Knowing you’re a multi-talented artist who does both, what do you think makes a song a hit? The production of it? Or the artist? Can a rapper still produce a hit with a bad beat? A hit can go either way in my opinion. Both aspects can give you a great song wether it’s the artist's talents or the producers talents. It can also be a mixture of both too. The collective work from both the artist and the producer can generate a hit. It should be something that naturally happens though, I feel that if either party try’s to focus in on making a hit than they may loose inspiration. Just keep working hard and it will naturally come to you. Who would you consider some of your influences and why? Young Chop would be my first. He’s the reason I started making beats. The first time I listened to back from the dead by chief keef I feel in love with all beats I had to figure out who produced this project. The next day I watched a documentary on CHOP and it explained his background and everything he had going on with the Drill Music movement. It wasn’t till Chop stated that he would walk from house to house around his neighborhood with a desktop to make beats. Lets not forget this is the south side of Chicago we’re talking about and not laptop a complete desktop. If this man had the drive to walk around Chicago with this computers to better than why can’t I figure out how to use my laptop to make beats! And this is where it all started. Once I got the hang of FL STUDIO I started to study Metro Boomin. I remade alot of his beats not to gain credit or money, I just knew that if I could remake some of the songs that a super producer creates than I could take those attics and apply them to my beats find my own sound. What’s next for you Tremayne? Any exciting plans for this summer? My brother Shizzy and I just finished our second album. The album is being mix and mastered as we speak and you can look forward to “STAGE TECHNICIANS”  dropping the end of this month or beginning of August. With features from alot of Stamford artist including myself and Shizzy and a few from features from TSE HITTA out of Philly! Executive produced by my self and Shizzy. Young Kanye and It Doesn’t Matter both out now prod by me! Stay connected! www.instagram.com/_trebeats www.instagram.com/brokin.shizzy #BuzzMusic

Simplistic yet stunningly diverse, Peach Guevara is a force to be reckoned with. Stay on the lookout for this Canadian songstress. Check out “Montreal” here and read more below in our exclusive interview! Hi Peach! How did you get started in music? What inspired you to start recording your songs? Music has always been around me. I heard it in church, in the car, at home. There are lots of singers, and musicians in my family on both sides, but my older brother was definitely the one who influenced my passion for music the most. It's hard to say what exactly got me started. I will say though that one time when I was a teenager, my mother and I got into a fight because of my poor grades, and me not wanting to go to university, she meant well, she knew I had potential. My step father pulled me to the side and told me that I should just focus on music, and that there was nothing else in the world that he saw made my face light up the way music did. What inspired me to record my music, was when I first started playing my songs in front of friends, and they would ask me to record them so that they could listen to them whenever. I couldn't believe that they actually liked my music. We love your voice! What age did you begin performing in front of others? I was probably about 6 years old in school choir, but from a very young age I was always singing to myself (no matter who was around) at home. I was very self conscious as I got older though, my two older sisters were amazing singers, and they used to tell me I couldn't sing. When I was about 15 I met this group of teens (who are now lifelong friends), I found my voice again. They were jamming around a campfire and the one guy asked me to sing. I denied his offer, he insisted, it was a repetitive cycle for a bit, but I caved in. I sang and everyone went quite, so I instantly stopped. Then they all yelled for me to keep going, and so I did. I couldn't stop after that. How do you musical influences inspire your sound? I'm inspired by lots of different genres, believe it or not, some of my favorite music to listen to is progressive house and ambient techno. I think what truly inspires my sound is music that really hits you, leaves you in awe. Lyrics that floor you, sounds that haunt you, stuff that gets you high, makes you feel, remember. This is actually a hard question to answer without going on and on, or being dry, because there's so much good music out there, and I take in the feeling of music more than the actual technique or style. But I guess artists who I feel resonate with my current sound and inspire me to explore it more are artists Angel Olsen and Jessica Pratt, they are both total goddesses. Tell us more about the meaning of the lyrics in “Montreal” Ha, well it's definitely a love song. I wrote it when I was living in Victoria, British Columbia. I was feeling stagnant in the place I was living, but I was in a long term relationship with someone I really loved. I guess I wrote the song to help me process my confusion, the frustration of really wanting to commit to someone, but also really wanting to enjoy the opportunity to go to wherever I was called to. I guess this song was me asking myself if my relationship could withstand the many transitions in life. It didn't, but I got a good song out of it. What theme can we expect from your upcoming album? Do you have a release date you’d like to announce? The theme is the same as the, title 'Feminine Rebellion'. It's anyone who resonates with the feminine side of the spectrum, but I also think it's for anyone who wants to push back against the patriarchy and toxic masculine. It's about healing softness, and embodying liberation.  It's still a process, I think there is more for me to experience first. I've only written the title track, and that was a year ago, so this might take some time. It would be wonderful to have it out by next Spring, but I will be releasing at least two singles before 2019 is over, so stay tuned! Keep up with Peach Guevara through her socials! • Deenyo Is Unstoppable In Latest Track “Switch” (Feat. Shabab)

Songwriter first, Deenyo is a multi-talented artist making noise out of Baltimore. He writes poetry, stories, TV shows and whatever else peaks his interest. Using his real life experiences to inspire his songwriting, Deenyo writes anything from summer bangers to deep emotive poetry, he always keeps his listeners at the edge of their seat. Deenyo much anticipated EP “Reverse Archaeologist” is a lyrical and personal project set to be released August 9, 2019. Pulling from his notable influences like Kanye West and Lupe Fiasco, Deenyo is a force to be reckoned with. His older brother introduced rapping to him and he hasn't looked back since. Pouring his heart and soul into his art, Deenyo is unstoppable. Improving with every track, Deenyo just dropped his newest banger “Switch”. A more fun and upbeat side of Deenyo, “Switch” still focuses on heavy subject matter such as loyalty. “Switch” is Deenyo’s strive to appeal to the demographic of listeners that love the DC flow and the hype uptempo vibes. “Switch” features Shabab that Deenyo claims is the secret weapon when he spazzes on the beat. A true summer vibe, “Switch” has had phenomenal success already and continues to grow. I highly recommend you check it out and keep a close eye on what Deenyo delivers next! Listen to “Switch” here and read more below in our exclusive interview! Can you tell us more about the lyrics and meaning behind the song? -Switch is a unique song. My idea for the track was to use the concept of ‘switch’ in various ways. Shabab and I switch up our flows, switch up our topics, etc. Even the engineering in the song has various drops and edits. The lyrics are fun and we wanted to throw some lyrical gems in there so people can listen multiple times and find something they didn’t hear before. What do you do to feed your passion for making music everyday? - I draw inspiration through my experiences in life and the stories and poems I write. My friends and fans urge me to continue making content and that means a lot to me to know that they enjoy my creative content. I have a great support base! What are some challenges you’ve faced as an up and coming artist? How do you overcome those challenges? - Getting more Fans and streams have been slow and difficult at times. I’m working with more blogs as of recent and I feel like I’m figuring this music thing out a bit more. I am eager to work with more upcoming artists and promote my brand. What’s your stage presence like? (for someone who has never seen you live before?) - I have never performed in front of a live audience before just a little bit at parties but I am very charismatic. I find performing exhilarating and look forward to performing in the near future. What can we expect from your upcoming EP “Reverse Archaeologist”? -Reverse Archaeologist is an emotional journey about growth, coping with the challenges of time, love, and love lost. The EP contains 6 songs. I wanted to make a short project with quality tracks. I didn't want any of the songs to sound the same. I used 5 different producers. Expect a lot of story telling and lyrical content. Much different from ‘Switch’. This has great end of the summer vibes. Keep up with Deenyo through social media! You can tell O.W.E exudes enthusiasm through his music simply by catching the contagious energy from “WE ARE 48STREET”. O.W.E had a clean-slated delivery alongside a fire flow. His breath control, stamina, and arrangement of his verses showed great skill. In my opinion, “WE ARE 48STREET” showcases unity, teamwork, and companionship. These are key themes that I believe people in life need to represent for their own individual characters!
