  • Her Brothers New Single “Innocent” Gives Us Everything We Need And More!

Vancouver’s very own Her Brothers are a lively, refined alt-pop band, fusing 90s punk energy with 80s dance-rock. The band is composed of 3 brothers: Gabe, the vocals and guitar, Josh, the bass, and Levi Penner, the drums. Gaining a lot of inspirational influences from names like Michael Jackson, Maroon 5, and Peter Gabriel, Her Brothers displays the innate ability to give us contemporary hits while adding the timeless traditions of music to them. They have gained a significant following from their extravagant live shows and performances. The shows they put on are what one would say is electrifying! You can tell this is something these brothers are passionate about. Their latest album Tribe, has been an album they have been experimenting with the unreleased tracks to give their fans some true excitement! “Innocent” is a track towards the end of their album Tribe but one that should not be passed over. The intro verse to this track gives you a nice build up to the chorus. “I want to sing, but I never want to miss a note” sold me. Gabe's vocals are extremely moving. Looking at the band visually, you never know what to expect and I love that! The blended melodies throughout this track is bananas. I can hear so many layers. Using vocals as sounds, the snaps that almost sound like drum sticks, guitar placement. I mean I can go on and on. There is something so rich and timeless about this particular track. The bridge and outro of this track was exceptionally done. And although for some ends soon, it is the perfect lead up to the next track. Her Brothers, although brothers, work so very well together. Bravo guys! Listen to “Innocent” here and get to know Her Brothers in our interview below! Hey there guys! Mind sharing with our readers who you are and a little about yourselves? The three of us are brothers Gabe, Josh and Levi Penner from Vancouver BC and we make up the band Her Brothers. We met when we were born, consecutively and we’ve been playing music together for just over 13 years. As brothers, what is the most difficult aspect about working together? Since we do pretty much everything in house it’s very easy for conflict to arise in regards to song or video writing and production. One of the things we say a lot is, “the song is king” but of course it can get heated when we’re all trying to let the song be it’s best self and have two or even three different ideas. Probably where it gets most difficult is in checking ourselves. Because we’ve all grown up together and are brothers it’s easy to take it out on one another without even thinking about it and assume it’ll be fine. Family seems to bring out a unique intensity at times. We try to not take ourselves too seriously. What inspired your new track “Innocent”? My own struggle with depression and anxiety. It’s obviously not everyone’s story by any means but what I myself have found is that I have a huge amount of agency when it comes to my own choices that can lead to heightened anxiety or bouts of depression. The big one for me is social media. I mean the whole mechanism is setup to create feelings of alienation and then affirmation and back and forth. It’s been designed to keep a user on it for as long as possible. We’re one of the most, if not the most, connected society the world has ever seen and yet one of most disconnected, dissatisfied and lonely societies at the same time. People used to die from war, famine and plague, and there still is lots of death around those terrible things but we have significantly pushed them back all around the world. Who knew one of the biggest threats would be suicide. That we would be taking our own lives. How do you keep things fresh within you music? Listen to music outside of our tastes and read lots. I’m a lyrics guy and I read quite a bit so I try to read stuff I’d normally never pick up, like Anne Morrow Lindbergh’s Gift From the Sea (which by the way is one of my favourites). Levi listens to a lot of soundtrack albums and atmospheric stuff with josh listening to a lot of hip hop and a ton of electronic music. There’s a lot of crossover and we all love the classics and such but I think coming from different places musically with some of the stuff we listen to and knowing that we each bring a unique piece to the table allows the song to be something more than one persons idea. Not only do I think it challenges us and makes the songs better but I think it also creates something that has the potential to connect with far more people because it  has a piece of each of us in it. What separates you from other bands? We’re a pop band with a punk mentality. What can we anticipate coming from Her Brothers this year? We’ve got a few things coming down the pipe. We’ve got some new releases coming out this year, music videos and even some new songs. We’re really excited about a track we just worked on with a hip hop artist. We sent some stuff back and forth and come up with this collaboration we all love! We seriously can’t wait to share it with everyone. We’ve also got tour dates, a few up and more to come, and are getting excited with the potential of a cross country tour. Connect with Her Brothers on social media: Instagram Twitter Facebook

  • LeTrainiump Delivers New Energetic Hit “Go!”

LeTrainiump is a emerging neon pop artist with a vibe reminiscent to the 80s and 90s emerging out of New Orleans, Louisiana. LeTrainiump released their outgoing hit “Go!”, the multicolored record with a hint of sunshine pop proves to match the overall artistry of LeTrainiump. “Go!” gives you a fluorescent aesthetic that describes the meaning behind fun. As soon as the song begins playing you’re quickly drawn in by the approachable and digestible vintage pop vibes! Since I didn’t have the opportunity to grow up in a time period where pop and rock music felt more carefree and vibrant, I always love listening to music that can place me back in that time period like a musical time machine. “Go!” depicted an image in my head with its noteworthy synthesizers and iconic classic kick drum sound while yet sprinkling a little bit of today’s current groove into the song which makes an all around effervescent hit tune that many people will enjoy in my opinion. Not necessarily a party song, but it’s fitting for any type of event where you want to enjoy good music, dance and cherish the company around you. It’s the teenage spirit that’s shown within the song that will attract the younger generation but it’s the classic vibe that will appeal to the older generation, making LeTrainiump an enthusiastic and well diverse act to follow. Listen to "Go!" here and be sure to check out our exclusive interview with LeTrainiump below! Hey there, care to introduce yourself to our readers? What Up! I’m LeTrainiump a pop artist , singer/songwriter, & producer from New Orleans, La. I recently debuted as an emerging artist with my single “Think.” & plan to bring any listener into my neon pop filled world with my latest release “Go!”. How did you guys form the name “Letrainiump”? That ones easy! I got the name from my mom who named me LeTrainiump when i was born! Growing up i always avoided that name & preferred nicknames. It was actually my former guitarist, Josef Barr, who first mentioned that I should be known by my actual name as an artist, he said he felt as if it was too original not to use. Naturally i fought against that but after years of wanting to be in the music industry & a self producing artist, I finally embraced my name and realized you can’t run from who you are! Do you have any older musical influences or inspirations? If so who and why? Yes actually! My top 3 would have to be Michael Jackson, David Bowie, & Lauryn Hill. Michael Jackson’s energy is so much to me and something i aspire to have. Listening to Michael taught me how to write songs and compose pop music in ways that made you move. Listening to Bowie taught me how to craft sound to movement, also Bowie took my mind musically to a new place and really gave me a new perspective of  sound and gave me that spacey sound i fell in love with. Lastly Lauryn Hill taught me poetic communication (I can listen to her all day everyday) and how to be real. She influenced me to always be myself and let that speak through whatever song I’m writing. I try to be 100% authentic when writing lyrics and try to speak in such a way that everyone can relate. Lauryn Hill taught me that it’s ok to feel and speak about what I’m feeling. I can go one forever about how these and several others have influenced me musically, but I’m pretty sure these three sum it all up! How is your new release different than what you've brought out in the past? In the past I’ve tried to make my influences very subtle in my music, having bits and pieces reflect the time era or aesthetic that inspires me the most. What’s changed about that is now I’m pretty upfront with these new songs. My latest releases have really captured the aesthetic and vibe I put off and i find  them to be a very upfront description of my world as an artist. If you could describe your artistry to any type of fruit or animal what would you describe yourself as and why? Hahaha! I love this question and if i had to be honest, the first thing that came to mind is a flamingo or several together. One time I watched a video with several flamingos moving together in a pond. It seemed like a party, all of the birds moved together in the same direction yet they were all kind of doing “their own thing”. When i think of my artistry i tend to think of one big party that we’re all apart of yet are all individuals. It’s probably not that deep of a meaning but it looked cool! What’s your favorite component of making music? One of my favorite components of making music would have to be finding different rhythms and letting each instrument speak through them! I have several different versions of every song I’ve released simply because when I’m listening back to the songs i constantly hear different rhythms & am always tempted to change them. Eventually i stick with one version & go with it. It’s like a mini adventure with every song I write. Have you ever created any mellow or subtle music before? Yes actually but I’ve never released any of it. I’m working on a few songs and tracks at the moment that could easily be more subtle or mellow but I guess we’ll see if those songs stay that way or change. Listen to “Famous Words” here and get to know the band in our interview below! Hey guys! Would you care to introduce yourselves and your band to our readers? Hey, we’re Weigh the Anchor, a 5-piece rock band from Oakville Ontario, Canada. How did you guys form your band "Weigh The Anchor"? We all met through mutual friends. It was a lot of luck being in the right place at the right time. We were all in similar situations musically and looking for other people to work with and found each other. What were some of the bands biggest struggles starting out? How did you overcome them? Being in a band nowadays for anyone has struggles. We have 5 guys that all have full time jobs that we do our best to work around. Our biggest struggle has probably been trying to push through the early stages of being a band to get to the point where this does become our full-time job. Congrats on the recent release! What’s the message or idea behind the single “Famous Words”? The overall idea behind Famous Words is about allowing yourself to let go and move forward. It’s about finding strength to move beyond the negative and toxic things in your life when it may seem easier to stay in that situation. Where do you see the Weigh The Anchor this time next year? We hope to have a full schedule of playing shows in new cities and countries. Just getting our music out there, growing as a band and building the team around us. What can we expect to see from your next EP? A lot of growth mostly. We put a lot more of ourselves and our personal experiences into our new music. We feel that we have grown so much as musicians and as a family since our first EP. We really think that people will connect more with the new songs lyrically and can still enjoy our mix between high energy riffs, softer melodies and everything in between. • Datant Releases Dynamic New Single “Poppy Romance”

Datant grew up in Los Angeles, CA and always found himself quite lonely in most situations. As he began to grow older he found himself engaging in substances which made him feel more extraverted. He never felt like he belonged in any specific place so he nomaded around and kept people at a distant. These travels led him to various sorts of places that differentiate from one another but none has appealed more significant to him than Texas, where he experience the greatest heartache and pain he's ever faced over the years. Datant eventually turned that pain into art when he began writing and recording music. Datant writes all his music, from drum beats to bass lines guitar solos, synth parts etc. Datant's single “Poppy Romance” touched base on the personal experiences and various travels Datant has endured on. This song was a product of his assorted occurrences. “Poppy Romance” has a beautiful indie alternative vibe with augmented vocals that seems sort of distorted which creates a cool effect for the listeners. This song feels slightly psychedelic but it’s so idiosyncratic where it feels almost difficult to really categorize this single at all. Nonetheless, Datant poured his heart out on the track and if you really focus and hone in on the context of the music, you will see the meaning behind it all and how it personally reflects the artistry of Datant and the character of him stripped away from the fabricated music image. "Poppy Romance" was detailed and ethereal and we enjoyed envisioning all the grainy images of prosperity, peace, and relaxation the song gave us. A beautiful song to add to all our sappy love playlists with a numbed vibe. “For me Dàtant begins as a personal journey. It was a cathartic way to try and move past many personal struggles, turmoil and inner demons that correlated with heartbreak, addiction, and a way to do something creative and positive to distract myself from the outside world and the internal workings of my dark mind.” - Datant Listen to "Poppy Romance" here. Hi there, care to introduce yourself to our readers? I'm Josh Ó. I write the sings and I song in the band. Do you believe growing up and dealing with different battles of anti-socialism helped shape the artist you are today? Well everyone is different in that some people use their art as a vehicle to channel their emotions, some use it to escape their emotions, some use it to confront their emotions.... Fransisco Goya is one of my favorite painters because he actually captured his madness and his descent into madness through his art. I say this because he became increasingly antisocial and isolated. I didn't actually grow up anti social and in fact loved human interaction but was always so different than everyone especially my age that for a while I became more distant and closed off more because people didn't really accept me. Around the time I started to really get into guitar and music as a whole is when I started to drink which helped curve the anxiety and anti social behavior as well so its really hard to say. It certainly helped me lyrically and did shape the way I feel think and write a lot of things in my music, and not just the lyrics as well, it's also affected how I write music as well from melody's to guitar parts etc. How has music served as an escape purpose for you? I don't know if I would say that it has. I never used music to escape I used it to discover and create purpose within my life and myself. What has been the most memorable moment in your career thus far? That's tough because I don't really view any one single moment as more or less special than another, rather another thing accomplished and another positive experience had. I guess some highlights would definitely be opening a recording studio with Gordon Raphael The Producer of The Strokes, Getting to work with Scott Montoya formerly of the Growlers as mixer on our record. Working with Anthony Braun Perry of CatSigns and formerly The Growlers as producer then giving an introduction to the label we were working with to him as well which eventually led to him signing on the label we were on. What does your single “Poppy Romance” mean to you? It's kind of got a duality to it. It was the first song I wrote when I started coming up with ideas for the first incarnation of this project. So I love the song in a way but I hate it well rather hate to think of the lyrics as its about my inner demons, letting go, drug addiction, and an an ex girl friend. It's also the first song I've ever written that I was completely proud of so yeah. What can we expect from Datánt in 2019? Maybe and hopefully a record deal! We had one but in all honesty it didn't work out in the end so I decided to move forward. Hopefully a tour. I'm actually putting together a lot of really cool and new stuff. Currently we are looking to hire and replace a few people so I am gonna start looking and auditioning people this week. I have big plans to start building a really cool elaborate stage set up too. It has some smooth swindling sounds mixed with an upbeat dance anthem! I can hear the LA vibes blaring through the speakers. There is something so innocent and young yet has a aspect of a vintage vibe throughout "Leave A Message". This single gives you a very soothing trance followed up with a indie pop spirit. Easily a top 50 Billboard record - we can't wait to hear more! Listen to "Leave A Message" here and find out below what elle d. has in store for 2019! Hey ellie! Will you please introduce yourself to our readers? Hey, I’m ellie d. (Ellie Dubin) and I’m a singer/songwriter and actress from Los Angeles! Thanks for the feature! I love music, my family and friends, and of course my dog Scooby. When did you realize you had to make music your life passion? I have been singing and performing probably since I was 3 years old. I remember putting on performances for my brothers when I was growing up. I even made little fake paper tickets in order for them to attend. There was always music playing in our house, no matter the occasion. My dad, who was actually in a rock band in college, raised us on rock music. We listened to The Who, U2, Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bruce Springsteen. There was one summer I remember when I was younger, my family was in Avalon, Catalina and I saw this girl playing guitar and singing in the middle of the main town square. I thought, wow, I want to do that. So the next year, I brought my guitar, set up next to the pier, and sang for two hours while people came by. It was the best feeling. How did you discover what sound resonated with you? Although my background primarily comes from rock influence, I really started connecting with electronic music when I was in college. After attending “GRAMMY camp” a camp put on by the Recording Academy back in high school, I grew a passion for writing toplines for producers and electronic music. While in college, I started working with producers on a variety of tracks and found that my voice suited the electronic world. I also love the way electronic music makes me feel. What is the message behind “Leave A Message”? I wrote "Leave a Message” as an anthem to growing up and trying to learn from the past. Many times we get stuck in the past whether it be with relationships or events and it can affect how we carry ourselves in the present. If we focus on ourselves and get don’t pulled back in, we can produce more positive energy in our lives. “Leave a Message” was also inspired by my move back to my hometown of Los Angeles after being away for four years at school. Trying to get back on track after college can be a challenge, but music and songwriting has really been guiding me. I’ve moved on, I'm home in the greatest city, and I’m getting back on track. What will you be doing musically throughout 2019? This year I plan to create a ton of new music, collaborate with as many people as I can, and hopefully write an EP. • Kevin Goodwin Captures Our Hearts Through A Melodic Story In His New Single “All I Can Think About"

Kevin Goodwin is a singer/songwriter/pianist that hails from North Carolina. Kevin has recently made his way into the music scene after releasing two singles in 2018, “Alaska” and “All I Can Think About”. I can definitely hear influences from notable artists, The Fray and Jack’s Mannequin, as a base to his really unique sound. Although he has those traces of Pop influences, his sound really stands out on its own. With his use of deep, storytelling and emotionally expressive lyrics, Kevin Goodwin has surely found a way to break into the music industry. His debut album drops February 1st, 2019. Tuning in to “All I Can Think About” immediately you are struck with a pleasant surprise. Kevin Goodwin truly has a way of projecting a soft and sultry vibe while still giving off that fun and pop energy. His voice takes you on a ride through the story of who she is and that is before getting to the video. The pianos melody is a beautiful accompaniment to the passion you hear in his voice. Then just as you’ve caught on to the hook, you are blasted into a series of ebbs and flows with this phenomenal electric guitar solo. You are caught in this emotional rhythmic battle and as you begin to unwind with the song it sends you away with a smile. Listen to Kevin Goodwin's new song "All I Can Think About" here. Hey Kevin! If you don’t mind, please introduce yourself. I'm a 24 year old singer/songwriter from Charlotte, North Carolina, who wants to bring pop/rock music back to you one song at a time. Growing up, what musical influences did you listen to the most? My childhood was filled with a lot of the music that my parents listened to. Luckily for me, that meant a lot of artists such as Elton John, Queen, and Phil Collins were my introduction to music. I was also very much into the pop and rock music that was at the forefront of the nineties. Alanis Morissette, Lenny Kravitz, and Counting Crows were not only musicians that I grew up listening to, but are still artists that really heavily influence my songwriting style. At what point did you realize you wanted to add “singer” to your list of talents? I started playing piano, and for that matter, writing songs when I was about seven. I knew ever since then that I wanted to be a songwriter. Singing wasn't something that came as naturally to me as playing piano or songwriting, though. I was a very shy kid, and it wasn't until I was about fourteen that I really started singing in front of audiences. Once I found my footing, I fell in love with it. What is your main source of inspiration for the song “All I Can Think About”? Coincidentally, “All I Can Think About” is the first song I ever finished writing with lyrics. I wrote it when I was fifteen about a girl I had a crush on who ended up coming to a New Year's Eve party I threw. I wrote it about that feeling of regret over letting your shyness and insecurity stop you from taking a chance. In this case, that chance was talking to the girl my high-school self was too nervous to ask out. Why is it important that you set yourself apart? I know that as a listener, I'm really drawn to artists that are genuinely original. I never want to hear someone doing their best impersonation of someone else; I want to hear them as the artist they are. The hard thing to figure out as an artist is what it is that makes you unique and different from everybody else. Once you get a grip on that, it's all about building on it and making your own sound. I'm a storyteller, and I want to always tell the stories I have in a way that no one other than myself could. Can you give us a sneak peak into your debut EP “This Is How It Starts”? “This Is How It Starts” is a record with songs that I wrote from many different times in my life over the past decade. I wanted to pick songs for this record that depicted love and growth of a young adult. It's a coming-of-age record, and one that I hope everyone's late teen and early twenties self will relate to. • New York Artist Sal Saatchi Releases New Song "Wrong Side" From His New Album "Sold"

Sal Saatchi is a New York native that has been pursuing his passion of music for 15 years. In May of 2016, he released an acoustic album, Live in Studio. This album featured both original songs and covers. In June 2016, Sal toured the US playing at various shows and open mic nights. He even wrote for Dream Recording Studios in September 2016. This guy was on the move! August 2018, he released 2 singles off of his debut, completely original album "Sold". Ultimately releasing the full album the same month, this singer/guitarist has something to say! So let’s check out one of the songs off his latest album titled “Wrong Side”. “Wrong Side” is the right side! Everything about the song gives you a reason to smile. I think his vocals being one of the first things you hear right after him strumming his guitar is one that gives you that good gut feeling that country music gives you. But then you have all the various drums and electric guitars and light plucking at the guitar, giving us a blues and alternative tune. It’s hard to catch the pain in his lyrics because the production and vocals are so enticing. Then you hear the story just as it closes. Sal Saatchi gives his all and then some in this track. I can hear the dedication and passion. We can't wait to hear what's next from Sal Saatchi! Listen to Sal Saatchi's new song "Wrong Side" here and find out the exclusive from Sal about the meaning behind his new song. Readers, I would like to introduce to you Sal Saatchi. Sal, tell our readers a little about yourself. Born and raised in Long Beach, NY. Been playing music for 15 years. I'm writing music to make people feel how I felt when I first heard my favorite artists play their music. I want to give someone the feeling of resonance that I felt when I first heard the first four notes of Slow Dancing in a Burning Room, or the excitement I felt from ear-ing out John Frusciante's solos on Scar Tissue and how encouraged I felt to learn more and more of my favorite artists' music. I want to pass that feeling on to other people. I want to give people a friend whenever they need one in their headphones at any given moment in any given place. How intense was the 20 city tour you had in summer 2016? I had and made a lot of friends along the way that made it way easier than it should have been. It was a blast. I made memories and connections that will last forever. There are lots of great, talented writers across this country. Go find them. Sold has been a successful album. What do you think made it so successful? The sheer number of people that contributed to this album is incredible to me. Everything was done by the power of friendship. I can't thank everyone who participated in the making of this enough. They helped me turn songs I was playing in my room into proper tracks with a full band. We did the best we could with the tools we had, I'm proud of it. What is “Wrong Side” about? Loaded question. I suppose it's about realizing that you're always going to be wrong about something to somebody, in this case that somebody was a significant other. You try every thing you can to make it work, but at the end of the day all you can really say is "I'm sorry" and give somebody time to deal with whatever it is they're dealing with. What has been the best thing so far about being an artist? I'm still having a hard time considering myself a true artist. But the best thing so far is that out-of-body experience and genuine joy you get when you're truly immersed in writing, playing or making something. What can we expect from you this year? I'd like to get a band together and play more shows. I'm looking for a drummer and a bassist at the moment. Been picking up the pen a lot lately though...maybe another album by 2020? We'll see. Scott Pell is an artist that currently resides in Central New Jersey. Although a new artist, he is far from ordinary. He writes, composes, produces, mixes/masters and engineers all of his own music. That is exceptional! Most well-known artists can’t even do that. Scott released his first single just a few months ago. Now a 3-track EP, “Thank You, I Love You” dedicated to his past love. He poured his heart into this EP about the girl he use to share his life with. As I tune into “Myself In You”, I am looking forward to feeling the song entirely. This track was SOOOOOO good! I mean I can hear this mans heart in every lyric. He was in love. True love. And to rap about it in this way is inspiring. The guitar is what gets me. It gives it that smooth alternative and country mood. I can hear the mix and master production in this track and to know HE did it, Wow! He took his time and made sure the necessary additions made sense for the song. I love the end. It gives you about 30 seconds of the guitar so softly as it fades away. Emotions can create beauty and when you have all the skills to make it perfect, you come up with this. Scott Pell made a masterpiece with this single and EP as a whole and I felt it deep within. Listen to “Myself In You” here and get to know Scott Pell in our interview below! How’s it going? Care to introduce yourself to our readers? My name is Scott Pell, and I am an artist from NJ. I have been producing for 3 years, and just started putting vocals over my beats summer of 2018. My first song was released around that time. I Write/Compose/Produce/Mix/Master/Engineer all of my work. Currently attending school at Ramapo College of New Jersey, with plans of receiving a Bachelors Degree in Music Production & Engineering. Although I am self taught, I plan to refine my skills at school to take my craft to the next level. What made you decide to become the whole package when it comes to all your skills? I figure it's best to rely on yourself to make things happen. I've always loved producing, and I would write lyrics in my phone in high school. At the time I never planned to become an artist. The summer going into my first year of college I decided to purchase FL Studio and a midi keyboard, and began making beats in my dorm room at Rutgers University. I wouldn't even go out much. I was so focused on learning FL that I even filled a couple notebooks with notes. I would sit there for hours teaching myself because I never had a mentor to help teach me the technical side of music making. And for producers reading this, many of you probably know how hard that can be sometimes, especially when you're just starting out. I was originally going to major in business, but I decided to leave Rutgers and get an associates degree from my community college back at home. During that time I was only taking 3 classes a semester so I could really focus on the music. It took me 3 years to complete my associate's because I was taking my time and giving my craft the proper attention. I can say confidently now that I found the core of my sound when I came back home, and that's something I'll always treasure in my heart. It's more special and personal when you go through things by yourself. It can really test you. But the fruits of your labor are rewarding. Why did you choose to put yourself out there with this EP? For this EP, it wasn't even really about me, but the girl that it's for. I felt I needed to say these things to her. To open her eyes about love and how much I really loved and cared for her. But sometimes you don't get that in return. And I put myself out there with this project because at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what people think of me, good or bad. What matters is what I think of myself, and what I want to say in my music. I am comfortable to say openly that I was depressed last year because of what happened between her and I. Lots of things weren't said, lots of emotions weren't communicated. We never ended things face to face. That's probably what hurts the most. And I was alone putting myself back together for almost an entire year because of it. Trying to find the answers within myself. I loved her more than anyone I ever have in my entire life. However, it's clear now that she didn't feel the same to the degree I did. I do believe she loved me, and maybe she still does deep down. But if you love someone, and I mean truly love someone, you show them. I haven't spoke to her in over a year and that says enough. And that's why I had to let this go. New relationships can't manifest if your holding onto past ones. I was holding myself back in life if I didn't say what I needed to say to her. The way I see myself and and my art is the only thing I am concerned about. The world will adjust. When creating the track “Myself In You” what made you come up with the choice if instrumental? First, I just want to say that this song was made in one day. I produced and wrote the song about 3-4 months ago. The mixing and mastering was done early January. I found this guitar sample and I instantly connected to it. It's a very emotional guitar melody in my opinion, you can really feel it in your heart. The beat was created pretty fast and fluid, probably in less than an hour. The writing took a little longer just because I wanted to get my words right. It's crazy because when I made this beat I didn't intend to write about her. It kind of just happened naturally. I don't like to think a lot when making music, but rather feel what the tracks call for. Forcing a certain sound or message into a track never delivers. You gotta just sit back and let your soul do the talking. She was on my mind a lot at the time, and looking back without a doubt that's why it was written about her. Any plans for visuals for this single or others? I'm on the fence if I should do a music video for this. This is very personal so making a music video feels awkward in a sense. It's too personal to put myself in front of a camera and do something for it. But I do have this idea of making a music video for "Myself In You" by letting actors take what I said and run with it. I would want to create a music video/scene telling that story. Because that's what it is to me. A story about a part of my life. I already lived it, I don't have the desire to live it again or reenact it. Having other people capture what I said into a video would be extraordinary. Honestly, I may do this. Keep an eye out. What can we anticipate coming from you in 2019? I'm dropping a single every 3-4 weeks. I will be a world-wide artist by 2020. Mark my words. Love. • "Scared" By Talley Delivers An Addictive Retro-Pop Flare

There is a fresh and new Indie Retro-pop sensation out of Denver that goes by the name of Talley. After a painful breakup with his previous band, he had no other choice but to become a solo artist. Something he never saw coming but has lead him to flourish! His debut single looks back on his past while venturing forward to explore new sounds in Indie Rock. His up and coming debut album will pay homage to a different era of music while upholding unity with his expansive, layered, optimistic sound. Talley plans to release music every month until March and then will release his debut album in June 2019. Talley just released his new single "Scared" and we're completely in love with it! The song has a really good true retro feel to it. A get up and dance all night long song with lyrics that are really easy to catch on to. A trait that is definitely something we look for in a quality song. The retro-pop flare is something we can't get enough of! The song features guitars and keys throughout the entire melody, then approaches a climax of a baring electric guitar solo with complementary drums which leads to a closing with layered vocals. Want to hear something crazy? Talley created the song completely by himself. A one man show! It's super hard to believe the whole production of the song was created by just one person! Talley is a true star. Needless to say, we're really looking forward to hearing new releases from Talley every month! Listen to "Scared" here.
