  • Right Soundtrack For The Right Spot

There comes a moment out in God’s Country, cruising along past fields under cultivation, where you realize you’re nodding your head to what is undeniably country. It’s the polar opposite to taking in a progressive debate about gun control while maneuvering around LA in your Tesla. Right soundtrack for the right spot. Actually, having been born in LA before migrating east, living in Philly, North Carolina and now Nashville, Dan Harrison is someone who can undoubtedly understand the possibilities of contrast. If Harrison was trying to nail the modern country sound then he succeeded with his latest single “Nowhere Bar.” He backs in carefully to the nu-country driveway with a little chord plucking, before charging off at full-tilt, V8 cylinders firing. The music is definitely way more Top 40 pop than Man in Black at Folsom Prison grit. What sounds like programmed drums really solidifies that energy. The story is a familiar one. It’s only 10 more miles to Raleigh. We’ve got hot air and cold beer. We’re making meaning connections in the back of a Nowhere bar. This reminds me of the type of song that would actually work well as a pop-punk number if these guys were less about the dirt roads and more about Hot Topic. But they’re not. And so we’ve got this: a sing-alongable track with a guitar solo that soars as high as an American eagle. If you’re looking for an alternative to the Florida Georgia Line-ification of the country sphere, you won’t find it here. But if that’s your jam, if you just scored a fracking job down at the Eagle Ford and need some music for the truck, or if you’ve got a rodeo to photograph and want to get in the mood, then try this on for size. Listen to "Nowhere Bar" here, and learn more about Dan Harrison in our interview below! What does country mean to you? Country to me evokes a certain life style, beyond the cowboys, honky tonks, and whiskey. It’s truth plainly yet vividly spoken, with melodies that are crafted from emotion and not just mechanically or mathematically. I think it’s music that speaks to something authentic and deeply-rooted in our humanity, regardless of where you’re from. Overall, it’s proof that life, with something as simple as three chords and the truth, is more than the sum of its parts. Why do you think country music loves its universal themes? I think that country music has the same themes as all music, which are human themes: love, hate, joy, anger, sadness, family, faith, etc. What it does so well as a genre is its emphasis on visualizing these themes in a song’s lyrics; listening to a country song can be like watching a movie or reading a novel, and it tends to have a greater impact on the listener that way. Who are some of your biggest influences? I grew up listening to and loving a lot of different artists and genres. Some key non-country influences for me are Bruce Springsteen, Queen, Green Day, Kanye West, and John Mayer. In terms of country, I loved Johnny Cash and Shania Twain as a kid, but in college was where I really found a passion for it. Some of the artists who influenced me a lot, and are a part of the reason I’m in Nashville, are Eric Church, Brad Paisley, Zac Brown, Jake Owen, Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, and Florida Georgia Line. What's the key to taking part in the Nashville scene, while still retaining what makes you unique as an artist? Being a successful part of the music scene in Nashville requires patience, hard work, an open mind, professionalism, and self-belief; all of those qualities are also key to maintaining your uniqueness as an artist. It’s easy to get swept up in what the latest trend on radio is; I think it’s important to stay current and find what of it resonates with you, but at the same time I think people value honesty and intention, so knowing who you are as a person and an artist can help you grow your strengths and widen your comfort zone, without trying to be something you’re not just to fit in a certain box. To quote some great songwriters here in town: “Follow Your Arrow”. Was there a journey you went through to bring this song to completion? This song was one that I had started before I moved to Nashville; I had a version of it that I brought to one of my earliest writing sessions after I moved. I knew I liked the melody and concept, and we were able to develop it into something that really resonated with me lyrically and musically. We did spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to capture the interaction in the story in as concise yet impactful of a way as possible. After we made a demo and got some pretty great reactions to it, we went back into the studio and really focused on making sure that it had that special energy that captures your attention right from the start. I think we did it, and I hope people agree! What's next for you through 2019? We’re planning to do a new song every 2-3 months for the next year or so, as well book a regional tour to really promote the music and get it out there. We’re off to a great start, so it’s about continuing and growing that momentum exponentially; I’m really excited about what’s coming next and can’t wait to share it with everyone! • Singer/Songwriter Is On His Way To International Stardom

Avi Mack seems to know exactly what the full package is all about since he’s fully equipped with all the correct ingredients that makes him a star on the rise! His lush and extravagant pop single “Caught Up” is a product of Avi’s meticulously refined craft that encapsulates his unique sound. Produced by Easy Freak and Avi Mack, and mixed by Grammy Nominated Mixing Engineer Beau Vallis, "Caught Up" is a crossover of pop and retro synth RnB. While it plays larger to fit the format of pop, it doesn't shy away from using the lyrical content to evoke emotion and depth, without distracting from the melodic hooks. The vocals add a catchy melancholy whilst the 90’s RnB mixed with recent contemporary pop beat uses its distinct production for syncopation and space. If you were to digest this single and recapitulate the entire motive, you will seem to appreciate the record more for what it’s worth. I mean think about it, Avi took a personal life struggle and channeled his emotions from that experience into his songwriting to curate a substantial and lyrically authentic melody and song that we can also catch a vibe to due to the lush productions. He adds a little more emphasis to the hit’s potential by releasing an appealing music video to tell the story of the “Caught Up” the attractive visual alongside Avi’s already branded artistic image is just too difficult for anybody to resist! Give a listen to "Caught Up" here and be sure to check out the artist's exclusive interview below! Hey Avi! Great to chat with you. Can you tell us a bit about you and your career in the music industry? Thanks for having me! I've been writing and producing for about 10 years now, but all behind the scenes. I actually have an Honors Degree in Jazz, and after studying I went on to intern in studios, and eventually opened my own. I was also writing music for a lot of adverts, working with a few artists. You get to point where you just want to release your own music after writing for so many others, and so I decided to start putting some real time into my own material. And so here we are. Congrats on hitting the likes of international success! What does that feel like as a rising independent artist!? Look, that's my hope! I have a tremendous amount of work ahead of me, and so I'm staring at this long road wondering where I'm going to end up. So it's a bit daunting, but exciting at the same time. I think more than anything it's humbling. To have people listen to music you have written, and enjoy it, is such a surreal and unique feeling. The idea that someone would listen to music and have a similar reaction to when I listen to music that I like, is kind of overwhelming. But also an amazing feeling. "Caught Up" is such an excellent song. Can you tell us a bit about the creation and songwriting process of “Caught Up” ? Why thank you! I do all my song writing at my home studio. That's where I spend most of my life. I find that when I'm writing, I'm usually processing something that I've been through. When I'm writing it's kind of like walking through a hall of mirrors, and I'm seeing all these sides of me that I didn't even know existed. Weirdly enough, I am obsessed with interpretation of information, and how people have different viewpoints. So when I write, it can sometimes feel like I'm looking at myself from the outside. With Caught Up, I started with the chords and melody, and then fleshed it out using a lot of vocal sample and synth work. I was lucky enough to have friends of mine (a band called Easy Freak) help me out with some of the production, and mixing of the track. If you could describe “Caught Up” in 3 adjectives what would you use and why? What's the meaning behind the song? That's tough. I would say Melancholic, Relatable, Vibey. The song really details a relationship I was in, that just seemed to be this on-going on/off situation. Myself and the girl just has his attachment and effect on each other. It was kind of this almost relationship, and every time I thought I had moved on, all those feelings would come rushing back. All my friends tried to help me see that it just wasn't working, but for the life of me I just couldn't get away from it. Caught Up was actually me giving myself closure, and was sort of me just getting those emotions out. Trying to move through this myriad of feelings, and get through to the other side alive. I think we all go through that relationship, the one that doesn't work out and it's not really clear why. And we all deal and move on with it in our different ways. This was mine. Tell us some BTS info about the music video shoot! So apart from writing music, the other half of my job is that I direct a lot of film. Usually music videos, documentaries and shorts. I got together with a friend of mine, and I wrote this narrative based on something I felt fit the feel and the core of the song. And we shot it on no budget, all our own equipment and a friend of mine Jamie playing the role of the girl. Actually, all the performance scenes are shot in my DOPs lounge! I directed and edited the video, so it was very much an independent process. A lot of fun though, hell of a lot of fun. What can we expect to see from you through 2019? I've quite a few things lined up for 2019, in the next couple weeks I'll be heading up to finish the EP that I'm hoping to release in a few months. There might be a trip to Europe on the cards (Depending on bookings) and definitely another single with a music video. So it's quite busy, I'm pretty excited. • Caribbean Rap Songstress Sharon Bellah Delivers New Hit “Think Big”

In a specific industry that has been dominated by the male population for so long, a new wave of female rappers are taking over the game, and Sharon Bellah is the next deemed prodigy that could become our next raptress in the game! Sharon Bella is a 24 year old who comes from a Caribbean background that includes both Jamaican and Trinidadian. Sharon Bellah believes the Caribbean-American music crowd is highly slept on and she’s here, proving to us that there is some serious talent we shouldn’t be snoozing around. She released her single titled “Think Big” to show us she’s the next big thing on the rise. “Think Big” has this dope beat to support her exclusive flow and detailed bars that could translate well across many radio airwaves and stations. There’s something intriguing about female rappers that automatically grasp peoples attention and get them interested in the music. Queen Latifah said it herself. They have this specific feminine power that immediately becomes luring to their listeners, especially hardcore hip-hop lovers because they begin to wonder “how hard can she deliver?” and when they do deliver just like how Sharon Bellah did, people become twice the fan due to their misconstrued perception that rap music is only catered towards the male population. A product of New York City, Sharon Bellah and her single “Think Big” is going to be the force we wouldn’t see coming! Don't miss out on Sharon Bellah's "Think Big" by adding this track to your Spotify playlist! Scroll below to get to know Sharon Bellah a little better through the artist's exclusive interview! Knowing you come from a Caribbean background, how has this musically impacted your artistry? Coming from a West Indian background I grew up with a lot of music around me, culturally, reggae and of course hip hop and R&B. This inspired me to create a sound and I call my type of music Carribean American music. What inspired you to curate the artist name “Sharon Bellah”? The name Sharon Bellah comes from my personality. Sharon is the focused mother who works so hard that later on at night it brings out Bellah, which is the fun spontaneous Sharon. Bellah is more of the person you would call to attend a party or a vacation for a complete turn up; my girlfriends know the vibe. Some people know me as Sharon, some people know me as Bellah, either way you always get the same fun bun! What’s the vibe that “Think Big” gives? Think big came about as soon as I heard the beat. It gave me a west coast vibe & it made me think of sending the message out to people: Stop doing favors & think about yourself. Think about how much more fun & happier you can be without being distracted by leeches. There are various meanings to the song, it depends on the listener. You get me? If you can collaborate with any female rapper of your choice who would you select and why? If there would be any female rapper I would work with it would be Nicki Minaj, you know why ? No matter what, she gives us good music, she’s very versatile & I love it. She’s about her coin, everything she does she does it for her fans and I can relate. Nicki doesn’t please one type of crowd; she pleases everyone, reaching all kinds. What's next for you through 2019? For 2019 my plan is to drop a bomb mixtape that I’m working on right now actually & of course continue leveling up, working on my brand. Just basically work work work, I have a lot of new things coming soon look out for me! Connect with Sharon Bellah on the artists website and socials: Facebook Instagram #BuzzMusic

  • Kathleen Farless Gets Fearless With Her Self-Love Inspired Hit Song!

Kathleen Farless is an accomplished songwriter who was born and raised in the Philippines. Now she resides in Los Angeles in which she calls her home for nineteen full years now. Despite being a hard working woman from juggling many responsibilities as a full time registered nurse, she devoted her off days to creating and writing music. A true artist by heart, whose real passion and commitment continues to grow and shines as you listen to her new single "Who I Am" preceded by the groovy single "Just Like That". Her unique and versatile musical style is displayed in each of her original songs; deep and strongly written while softened by her heartfelt vocals and a catchy melody. Her riveting and heart-rendering single “Who I Am” is all about self-love and the art of indulging yourself into a journey of self confidence. I loved the entire message behind the single and the motivational lyricism that was portrayed. Although the lyrics is about herself as a person and who she is, it inspires you to self-reflect and find all the good attributes about yourself, and to completely absorb them and love them, including your flaws to the fullest extent. Just as she’s owning who she is as a person and accepting every aspect of her, she’s aspiring to inspire others to do the same.  It’s a profound respect I have for the fearless artist who vocally skilled voice can move you into a direction you need to be moved into. Her sincerity that’s transparent through the music and translate across her genuine projection of her undeniably gorgeous voice is something that makes Kathleen Farless an iconic pop diva who was born to create music. Be sure to listen to Kathleen's "Who I Am" on Spotify, and check out this artists personalized interview below to get to know her a little better! Kathleen, great to chat with you! Can you tell us a bit about your career? Feeling is so mutual. Really it’s my pleasure. Thank you! I was a songwriter back home in the Philippines where I was born and raised by my grandparents, actually my grandma did. I started around freshman year in college writing songs for celebrities and also writing jingles for radio commercial. Then I moved to Chicago in 2000 to be with my grandparents. They wanted me to become a nurse, and never approved of my music because of the financial instability. (So typical asian thinking, right?). When did you begin creating music? I officially started as a singer-songwriter around 2010, performing live gigs in L.A.. By 2011, my desire to continue music kept growing and growing. I started recording my original songs in the studio and released (digitally) Masquerade-Single that same year as a trial, then I decided that I want to make an album (9 tracks) with the same title and it got completed in 2016. (Longest album in the making... lol). The music creation was always there, when I was in high school, I wasn’t doing my homework, I was playing the piano downstairs in our living room. I always knew that making music is what I love to do, it’s something I felt inside of me, but I was young then and there’s just so many obstacles at that time in my life to make a career out of it. But of course, I never gave it up, it’s just doing it at the right time, so here I am now, doing what I love most. What inspired you to write the powerful song “Who I Am”? I guess it’s more of channeling the negativity into positivity kinda thing, turning around the challenges and making it into inspiration by writing a powerful song. I truly believed that everyone has a dream. Mine is in music. I received so many rejections and discouragement, from labels, to music blogs, management, venues and many other areas of the music industry, also, there are some narrow minded and superficial people I encountered along the way, who thinks of me as a crazy person who just wants to get famous by doing music. With all these, I started cultivating and experienced self-doubt, which I think it’s very normal as a human being. So I wrote this song, to empower myself not only as an independent artist, but just being a real person. Really, just keep going and have the strength and courage to follow my passion. I truly hope that all kinds of people regardless of their background will relate to this song. What’s the message you want to give to those who listens to “Who I Am” ? Love this question. Stay in your truth of being “who you are”. No matter where you came from, whatever the color of your skin or whatever gender you prefer, whether you are in music or not, just be YOU and be human. Keep chasing your elusive dreams and do what you love. Be fearless and learn how to dance around the people who keep shutting you down. As the chorus goes “ I believe I’m enough, I’m fierce and I’m brave, I’m stronger than you think”. : ) Between “Who I Am” and your preceding release “Just Like That” which is your personal favorite and why? I genuinely love both songs. THANKS to the talented and amazing KYLE MANN (Record Producer and Engineer). Two different style, hhhmm... JUST LIKE THAT has an element that I truly love, which is the fun, groovy and a very light pop song. I had a blast with my band in the studio doing this record. WHO I AM, this is the best lyrics I’ve ever written so far... and I love the simplicity of the arrangement and back up vocals of the song, plus that drumming part in the end... Love it.. Oh, it’s really hard.. it’s equal to me.. (Can I buy you dinner, cuz I didn’t pick one.... Lol) What are three things about you that you'd love to share with someone just getting to know you!? 1. That I’m genuine, that I’m not here because I need something from them, but because I truly want to know people and include themin what I do. 2. That I am a registered nurse, I always advocate for patients and their families. 3. That I am a creative person, indie artist, singer-songwriter, that I am not great compared to other artist in L.A.. (I should not compare though, but there are really great artist out there) that I’m just alright so I keep on practicing in everything that I do to get better. I love dining out too. Oooopps, that’s four, am I in trouble? : ) What can we expect from you throughout 2019? This year my goal is to do more shows and hopefully produce music videos again.. On top of that, I have original songs scheduled to record again in the studio. I think my friends and my fans will be pleased of what will I share with them this year. I am also performing on May 17/Friday 9pm at The Federal Bar (Noho). I hope to get to see you there and the buzz-music team... Fingers crossed... Dinner? • Tre Kent Channeled His Inner Suave Persona For “Where Have You Been”

Tre Kent, a rapper born and raised in ST. Louis Missouri, released his new single today titled “Where Have You Been”. “Where Have You Been” begins with a melodic introduction and a mellifluous vocal chord that weaves the line between chest voice and the high pitched vocal register. The romantic lyrics subsidized the energy of the single. What I interpreted from this record is that the vocalist is singing about the craving of a loved one whom he’s been searching for all his life and he finally found her. He feels as if she’s the right one for him and he expresses that through a canorous tune we can sing along too. Tre begins rapping and delivering a flow on a more pop-sounding love bop, showing us his versatility and his maximum potential as a rapper and artist. And if this isn’t enough for you to determine if Tre is the next multifaceted icon, then maybe his background can give you that impression. To be a little more insightful, Tre Kent was introduced to gospel quartet music at a young age from his grandfather which was the rooting spark in his love for music. His passion and the chemistry he feels between himself and his songs is what drove him to create hits such as “Where Have You Been”. Despite the spiritual and religious background, Tre has an interest in RnB, Soul, Pop, and Rap music. Digesting his spiritual demeanor into a more urban marketed music industry, Tre is a hit-making creator who has a bright future ahead of him. Don't miss out on Tre's new single "Where Have You Been" by catching the song here! Check out Tre's exclusive interview below where he tells us about the curation of "Where Have You Been" Tre can you tell us a little bit more about the genre ‘gospel quartet’ ? The gospel quartet genre originated in the south and is made up of four part harmonies. My grandfather use to always play a lot of groups such as the Jackson Southernaires, Canton Sprituals, Mighty Clouds of Joy , etc. I still occasionally listen to some of these groups til this day. How has this background influenced or impacted your artistry today? It has influenced and also enhanced my artistry today greatly. It introduced me to different harmonies that you usually don’t hear in secular music such as R&B.. I feel like that definitely sets my sound apart from other artist due to my early gospel influences.. people will definitely hear something different in my music that they’re not use to hearing. What type of music you generally listen to? Have you ever discovered inspiration through specific songs? I listen to a lot of current and old artist/ groups within a couple of genres. I’ve always been a huge Chris Brown fan.. as you guys can probably already hear in my music lol. I’ve been listening to a lot of Jodeci, Prince , Bruno Mars, and Jimmy Hendrix lately also. Listening to different artists, sounds , and vibes really expands my musical creativity. How did the collaboration with Mozey for “Where Have You Been” come about? Well.. I created “Where Have U Been” 2 years ago in with my good friend Aaron Cartier who produced the beat. Originally it was just me on the whole song and Aaron told me about an artist he was working with that went by the name of Mozey.. A week later Aaron sent the song back with Mozey on the 3rd verse of the song and it was so fire that I kept it! It really enhanced the song. I’m always about making the my music the best as possible by any means necessary. Mozey and I have been cool ever since then. Can you tell us a bit about the what this song is about and what it means to you? This song is about finding your soulmate.. the person that you can vibe with and develop and unbreakable Bond with! I made this in a time in my life when I was searching for that.. and luckily I found her last year. She knows who she is lol. Big shoutout to her! What’s next for you through 2019? I have a project coming out in July of 2019 titled “Issues” . It’s going to consist of about 12/13 songs. This project is my baby lol. I can’t wait for you guys to hear it! I’m also going to release a couple of more singles in between the release of my single “Where Have U Been” and also my project “Issues” ; which I said is dropping in July. I can’t tell you guys which singles are coming just next though lol.. Have to wait for it! Follow me on my social media accounts. • Messimer Releases Exhilarating New Hit!

Hailing all the way from Boise, Idaho comes the electrifying band Messimer whose comprised of friends Luke Messimer, Dalton, and Reggie Mace. Luke's high tenor range and frantic delivery is perfectly complemented by the low and experimental rumble of Reggie's unique bass tone and Dalton's simplistic yet explosive drum style, all coming together in a sound that is a 1/4 "Revolver", 2/3 "Nilsson Schmilsson", a ton of "Pinkerton" and something entirely unique. They released their single titled “Loose” the progressive rock single that has all the elements of a hit single from high energy to intricate vocals and striking instrumental chords. It immediately begins with a climaxing introduction from guitar to a fast pace rhythmic drum motion. Their ear-piercing belts and mind boggling vocal transitions shows a level of skill many bands can lack. You become instantly drawn to the arts of rock and some just like myself, may have the courage to see them live. Their live show is big and in your face with moments of unsuppressed intimacy and vulnerability, creating something not seen much these days in the world of live music. 2019 will see them release a plethora of exciting new music as well as performances in many cities West of the Mississippi. Messimer is definitely not a band to be slept on, so this is your official warning to check the band out ASAP! Add "Loose" to your Spotify playlist here, and scroll further down for the bands exclusive interview! How did Messimer form? Whose idea was it to start a band! I (Luke) started performing solo under my own name after my old Portland-based project Northern Youth disbanded in 2016. When my now wife and I moved to Boise in 2017, I started looking to put together a backing band to continue playing those songs as well as some new ones I had written. I really only knew one person here in Boise: Reggie Mace. We had met in Portland at a wedding of some mutual friends and had some good music conversations. So when we landed in Boise, he was the first person I reached out to. Reggie took over on bass for me and his cousin Dalton filled in on drums. After 6 months or so, we kind of realized it wasn't a solo project anymore, it was a band. Since we already had a little following around town as Luke Messimer, we figured the easy way to go was to just drop the first name. And so, MESSIMER was born! Explain how the production of “Loose” came about. I made a little garageband demo of "Loose" in about 3 hours one day. The chorus just came to me half way through my day at work, so I just kept singing it over and over again until I could get home and lay it down. Then I brought it to the guys in practice and it just immediately clicked with everyone. We knew we wanted to put a couple new songs out soon and "Loose" just had that driving beat and sing-a-long chorus that made it hard to deny. We reached out to our buddy Josh Lewis, who is a young transplant from Scranton, PA. He's made himself quite the name for himself here in Boise as probably the best sound guy out there. He had done sound for us at a few shows and he just seemed to get us. He has a little studio in Garden City (a small neighborhood/suburb of Boise). We set up our gear, and recorded it pretty live. No click track and very minimal overdubs. Wanted to keep that raw rock n roll sound. I think we did 4 or 5 full takes, picked the best one, and there ya have it! “Loose” showcases some rocking instrumental skills! Does everything you guys do is live in the recording studio? Or do you guys record with computerized instruments? There is actually one computerized instrument! When doing overdubs, we just failed miserably at hand claps. They just sounded awful! I'd say that is weirdly not a strong suit for us. So before we got it to the distributors, I actually uploaded the WAV file to my old friend Garageband and added fake hand claps. It was the only way! I feel like they're quiet enough and tucked just enough in the mix that the average listener might not even notice, but my neurotic OCD-like subconscious would notice... What's your favorite lyric line from "Loose"? I really enjoy the second verse of this song. It's actually the first verse I wrote. "There's nothing that you can do / There's nothing that I can say / If my memory serves me right it was you that said it anyway" It just hits right. They might not be my best lyrics or most meaningful, but the way they flow with their call & response...well damn if they don't make me smile. What can we expect from Messimer throughout 2019? We have a lot going on this year. March 15 we have an acoustic song called "Morning Thought" coming out that has a very different sound. Then our 7+ minute epic "I'm not a Fool" comes out April 1. It's what I consider to be our current masterpiece. We're playing Treefort Music Fest here in Boise on March 22, then have some West Coast tour dates in Orange County, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle. After that we plan to release more music later in the summer and we have some more tour dates coming up and another festival or two that we're really excited to announce in the next couple months. 2018 was where we got our landless. 2019, we're using them. • Ron Maiga Releases Authentic And Genuine Ballad Called “Remember Me”

Ron Maiga is a Swedish singer and songwriter who delivers the most powerful and compelling single titled “Remember Me”. His debut record that he sings in both English and French, proving that Ron is a diversified artist with a transcendental appeal. “Remember Me” fuses together elements of soft rock with soulful music. It’s all around beautiful from the gorgeous electric guitar to the absolutely hypnotizing vocals from Ron. “Remember Me” isn’t necessarily a sad song, but feels more like a song surrounding the idea of reflection and reminiscence. The beginning of “Remember Me” begins with “I apologize for what I have done” setting the tone of the song to be more dismal and gloomy based off the apologetic and sincere lyricism. The honesty portrayed in “Remember Me” is just a reflection of the authenticity Ron projects when he sings. It’s a beautiful and refreshing attribute to an artist is to view how they’re able to authentically give a genuine musical work of art. Ron Maiga completely succeeded past expectations with “Remember Me” and we’re pretty sure it will translate well across those who appreciates the integrity and probity behind an artist music. Take a listen to Ron's "Remember Me" now on Spotify, and be sure to read the artist's exclusive interview below! Ron do you mind giving us a short little summary about your upbringing and what encouraged you to begin singing? Hi, first, I d like to thank you for giving me this opportunity. I was born and raised in the West african country of Mauritania in a family of 13 children. There has Always been a tradition of Music. My older Brothers played guitar, sang etc. I have some nephews who are known on the african hip-hop scene. I moved to Sweden in the mid 90th, started a new Life. I carried on with my Music, kept writing songs, started a band called ”Beautiful Anne”, performed live several times but there has Always been something missing: the right touch, serious people to work with, great musicians! Music has Always played an important part in my Life even though being a father takes the biggest part of it. The Children are growing now and time is much more generous to me You sang “Remember me” in both English and French - very talented! Are you fluent in any other languages? I am fluent in French, English, Swedish, Arabic, Spanish and some African languages such as Wolof (if you know Youssou Ndour, he sings in Wolof). I actually am a frequent member of Smule (https://www.smule.com/RonMaiga), where I have sang a multitude of Hindi songs, hahaha, people (mostly indians, but other asian people) always get surprised when they look at the color of my skin and the words that are coming out. I use to tell them that Music has no borders. What is the meaning behind “Remember Me” and what inspired you to write it? ”Remember Me”, is a song about making peace with one´s self. It is about relationships that did not make it to the final round but also the gift of remembering the sad but mostly the happy moments. Would you call “Remember Me” a sad song or something more subtle? I d call it both, the sad part is longing for what ”we” had, the good and bad times and the panic and anger separations can cause. The deeper part is that, every relation in the past has forged us, it leaves a indelible print weither we like it or not and the song wants us to embrace those mixed feelings rather than push them under the rug. ”Remember Me”, says ”thank you” to the old relations for making me the better person that I have become What’s next for you? Alejandro Guillen Thomas, Rickard Rådmark who are my musicians and producers, and I are working hard on marketing ”Remember Me” but it won t be the last thing you'll hear from me, us! • Jah Tells It All In Latest Track “Be My Boo”

Jah is a 17 year old upcoming RnB singer, born in Hackensack, NJ. He comes from several generations of musicians and entertainers, introduced to singing throughout his early years by his mother. After enduring several struggles including being homeless for a year, Jah decided to dedicate himself and all of his time to his talents and his life’s purpose of being an artist. Jahs music is a testament to his desire to bring love, understanding, and positivity to the world, and he plans to change and revolutionize the state of the planet by using his art to bring humanity together. Today Jah brings us the latest single “Be My Boo”! I can’t believe this voice is 17 years old! He has a very matured sound about him. This track gives me a true HipHop and RnB feel. Something that bridges a new school and old school tempo. It is really catchy too! I can still hear the chorus in my head. I am curious to know what the true backstory is behind this song. This artist has so many talents and you can hear them all within this track. I love the production choice. There is a sultry hum in this track with his voice that is soothing and really makes it easy to keep this track on repeat. Dope track man and looking forward to more hits from you! Give a listen to "Be My Boo" on Spotify, and check out the artists interview below! Hey Jah! Could you kindly introduce yourself to our readers? What was the reason that made you get into music? Hey! My name is Jah, I’m a 17 year old aspiring RnB/ hip hop artist, from NJ but raised partially in Baltimore Maryland. I come from a family of performers and entertainers, so I have always been involved in the arts in some way. It’s in my blood. My mother was an rnb singer, and she introduced me to singing and my love of music. Music is genuinely an extension of who I am and what my purpose on this earth is. I have a spiritual connection with it. Who are some of your biggest musical influences? Who do you want to collaborate with? Some of my biggest inspirations are Smokey Robinson and Sam Cooke, as I am truly influenced by soul. However, my biggest influence and favorite artist of all time is Chance The Rapper. His music defines and also genuinely saved my life, and I attribute all of my accomplishments and happiness that I experience to the fact that his music saved me from losing my life in dark times. One of my main 3 goals in life is to collaborate with him, but other than him I’d really love to make a song with Jon Bellion or Daniel Caesar. Where are some places you go to to get your creativity flowing? I find myself most creative when I’m in bed and in a dark room. I feel most in tune with myself and my surroundings and it allows me to have complete access to my thoughts. What is the story behind “Be My Boo”? I originally wrote the song for this girl who I thought I really had feelings for, and I was gonna use the song as a way to ask her out. Literally right after I recorded the song the first time, me and the girl fell out and I realized that she wasn’t the one for me, but I felt the song had a message that could impact and resonate with others greatly, because everyone deserves to feel that strongly about another person. That’s what I want the song to mean to people. Even if it didn’t work out that way for me, as long as others can listen to the song and relate to it and maybe even get the courage to ask out their dream girl, it serves its purpose. What can we expect to see or hear from you in the coming months? This is just the first single. I have dedicated my entire existence to being a creative, so you can expect several more beautiful tracks just as great as this first one! I really want to get an ep out this year, and I will make sure that I continue to provide projects for the people who’d like to listen. I also have had a comic book in the works for a very long time, and I’ve projected the first issue at the very least to be available within the next few months. Ultimately, expect everything! I am going to make my name and my creations known everywhere! I hope that you stick along for this beautiful journey. • Flyguy Released Contextual Single “She Loves Me Not”

FlyGuy released his single “She Loves Me Not” with an exclusive trap beat and flavorful flow that will have you coming back for more and asking yourself, “Does she actually love me?”. The detailed beat sticks true to the current wave of R&B music which is the urban trap beats smoothed down into a more suave and feminine manner for singers to deliver more hard-hitting R&B music such as this one. I’m a big fan of the vocalists voice. Although you can discover slight autotune, he has this rough around the edges resonance to him which gives it a little bit more edge when he sings. It’s like complementing grain material with a smooth and flowing texture. It’s an odd combination, however fused together the correct way the result can be unpredictable, yet satisfying. What I grasped from listening to this single is that FlyGuy knows how to cater to people personal taste due to how fitting this song is for them late night vibes. It’s like FlyGuy knows the sound that generates buzz and reels a crowd in and I don’t believe this was intentionally done! FlyGuy seems to have this natural uncut talent and appealing charisma that can draw people in like a magnetic object. “She Loves Me Not” has unique bars in which I can see people nowadays repeating the fun yet sensual lyricism for their captions on social media! Take a listen to “She Loves Me Not” and let us know your favorite line! Catch FlyGuy's exclusive interview below covering the creation process of "She Loves Me Not". FlyGuy with a fly stage name! Where did you get the inspiration behind your artist name? Growing up HOOk was my favorite movie, the story of peter pan (Robin Williams) HooK (Dustin Haufman) and Rufio (Dante Basco) the current pan!, Rufio was beast, he wore red and black with this dope golden sword but he couldn't fly like the true peter pan. Those colors stuck with me, growing I was always a pretty fashionably fly kid so the FlyGuy was another nick name. Stick them together FlyGuy Rufio. What vibe do you receive from listening to your own single “She Loves Me Not” ? You get a darker deeper vibe in my opinion, the elephant in the room behind most relationships esp for men who are dealing with women that have a main guy. The bitter sweet emotion of how we truly feel with being a side guy. Do you write your own music? If so, what’s your songwriting process? I do write my own music! Which I take alot of pride in, I have to be sober minded. I dont really engae in most substance anyway. I let the beat take over me, I like to record as I write now referencing is dope too. What advice would you have for other indie artists? Stay down with your creativity we all have our days were we feel like we're not good enough. Study study study your inspiration! Have a passion for the business even more then the art. Knowing the business is EVERYTHING for an artist who wants to last. Read "All you need to know a bout the Music Business". by Donald S. Passman its a very insightful read. Where do you hope to see your career by the end of this year? I don't hope! My goal im working to acheive is to be a verified artist, with 5 or more write ups from top tier publications, a top 100 single, over 100k organic followers, 3 song placements, with a brand worth more then 5 million dollars. I will achieve my goal! Keep up to date with the latest on FlyGuy through the artist's website and socials: Facebook Instagram Twitter #BuzzMusic

My African culture has influenced In every way, my drive, my motivation because of where I come from. my songwriting as well as how I sing. My culture has inspired me in music, in fashion and more. My grind comes from growing up in Nigeria and just only seeing hardworkers around me. I’m so blessed to say I’m Nigerian, We’re dope. What struggles have you faced in your music career? A lot! Rejection is the main one. There’s a lot of ups and downs. Putting your all in a project and not getting much feedback. It hurts your motivation a bit but it can also motivate you to be better and keep pushing.  It’s done both for me because each time I feel like I get better. What is the story behind “Thinking”? Thinking was a song I wrote mainly off of how I was feeling. I actually cried while I recorded  the first part of the song. It’s about loving someone and taking a step back to realize times up and it’s time to move on so you don’t break yourself. What is your ultimate dream with your music career ? I pray that one day I can turn my passion into my life long career. I want to reach people  globally and hopefully touch them in any positive way with my music . I want to use my platform to create a space for artists like me who lack support because of cultural ideals. I want to build music schools, art centres back home in Nigeria and many other places to support artists who lack proper resources. Connect with Olayinka on her Instagram and Twitter! #BuzzMusic
