Find the single on all digital streaming platforms and the music video on YouTube. Welcome back to BuzzMusic, Sahati. We're ready to hop in a taxi and head down to the party after watching your new music video for "For Tonight." What inspired you to create this lush and vibrant electronic track, to begin with? Thank you for having me again! This track was definitely inspired a lot by the nightlife that surrounded me this summer, especially back home in Kosovo. A lot of the time, I see people my age looking for the next party to go to, including myself, but more often a place to forget their lives for a bit rather than to meet new people or learn more about themselves, and seeing this shift of energy from the daytime jobs to night is fascinating to me. Once the sun is down, everything becomes a bit more vulnerable, and people seem to be more willing to risk some more stuff, take a step further, and open up. I love that a lot, so I wanted to encapsulate this feeling of impulsivity and youthfulness in this track. What was your experience formulating the electronic production for "For Tonight?" Was it enjoyable to broaden your horizons and explore this different sonic world? Definitely, I’ve been wanting to work with different producers besides myself because being in the early stages of my musical career gives me a lot of space for new ideas and experimentation, especially with producing. I still haven’t found a clear spot of where I want to be genre-wise, and honestly, it would be ideal if I won’t stay in one place. We’re definitely straying away from boxing artists into one label nowadays, so in contrast to my last release, which was an indie-rock project, I wanted to try a more dance-pop sound. This desire was ignited by watching Dua Lipa’s performance at the festival I got to play in this summer, and together with Labinot Sponca and Enes Bajramliqi, we were able to bring this pop-infused vision to life. What was your goal for the "For Tonight" music video? What sort of scenes and vibes did you want the video to capture? Essentially I wanted to capture the chaos and messiness of being around party people but also how a good time doesn’t have to be dependent on people. I talk about this a lot, but I really think we should all spend more time with ourselves. There’s no other way to truly find out what you like, and once you learn to enjoy your own presence, you can make any place and situation a party for yourself. It’s lit as hell in my head. Anyways, together with Nathan Lau, the director of the music video who is also such an incredible person to work with, we decided that the party scenes should have little odd elements to them. So besides people dancing and partying, you can see someone throwing up tiny babies, someone snorting glitter in a bedroom while someone else gets slapped across the table. It’s a great time. What do you want your audience to experience when watching the "For Tonight" music video? How did you want these visuals to make them feel? I want them to feel that adrenaline you get when you’re getting ready to go out to something you’re excited about. You don’t know where the night will take you, and that’s so thrilling. It’s getting chillier outside, so you layer up, your phone is charged, you have your transit pass in case you wanna leave, you know you’ll meet up with people you like, and you just go with the flow for the rest of the night. Where do you draw most of your inspiration from? I draw most of my inspiration from my past romantic experiences. Can you share the creative process behind ‘’Secret?" The creative process started at a studio I was working out of in Atlanta at the time. My engineer and I pulled up the beat and instantly loved the melodies I was coming up with. He told me to write about a past relationship that didn’t work out. I got to work, and that’s how "secret" came to life. What's the message you want people to take away from "Secret?" - Isa Bellido Turns Up The Imagination In “What If”
Chicago-based R&B/Hip-hop artist Isa Bellido uses Latin urban sounds to make you move those hips in her new single “What If.” Born in Santiago de Chile, Chile, Isa Bellido grew up among an incredible mix of sounds and music running through her ears and veins. She decided to be part of the modeling and acting world, but she wanted to create music and trained her vocal skills with fantastic couches. Now she lives in the United States, unleashing all her musical creativity. “What If” is Isa Bellido’s incursion into the Latin urban genre. She uses dembow drums that make you move your shoulders from the first second after you hit the play button and digital notes that make the track sound ethereal, chilling, moving, and catchy. The lyrics of “What If” are an invitation to give in to that romantic adventure while dancing. Diving into “What If,” the track has a fantastic combination of reggaeton-like drums and R&B keynotes that sound melodic and distant. It feels light and tender to the ears and causes your head and limbs to move. Isa Bellido’s voice is sweet and seductive, making the lyrics run smoothly into your head while the bass makes your chest buzz. Listening to “What If” wakes up fantasies of romance and sensuality as you listen to such a catchy track and Isa Bellido vocals. This is a song you want to hear during a club night or any moment when you are having a good time at a party. Prepare some drinks, turn up the volume and grab your bae while playing “What If.” Thank us later. A warm welcome to BuzzMusic Isa Bellido, and congratulations on your latest release, "What if." What was your main motivation for making “What If?” There are a lot of motivations behind “what if,” but I’m gonna be honest, haha. A few months ago, I was “starting” a relationship -but I’m picky about relations- so I questioned myself a lot about if I should start this relationship or not. One day I was thinking, “what if this work” or “what if not” and I liked it as a song's title. I wrote it on a piece of paper, and I just had a brainstorm and started the song. In my mind is about two people meeting in a place for the first time, and they like each other, so “what if." About the beat, I’m experimenting with the different music genre, and I use to have a song stocked in my mind, and I took it as inspiration and create the beat. Who supported you the most during the creative process of “What If?” I have a support group that is with me throughout the whole process. First, because I’m Latina and I’m learning English, I put all my ideas together, and then someone tells me that we should try this word instead of that one or what about saying it more like “street way”. Then there is the beat guy from Chicago, who is pretty nice. Also, my sister. I always send her the lyrics, beat, video ideas, and everything because I want her point of view. It’s good to have an opinion from outside. What were your greatest musical influences when making “What If?” In this song, I feel more like Jorja Smith because the song I was talking about before is from her. Also, Beyonce!! She is “you gotta believe in yourself; you can do it, you’re awesome,” which gives me the personality to interpret my songs. How do you think “What If” will impact your future musical work? The largest number of listeners I have now are from Sudamerica, and urban music such as trap, reggaeton, hip-hop, and rap. are the trend. Based on that, I believe the song has more chances to be heard in those countries, allowing the other songs that I have or the songs that will come. What's next for you? For now, push my songs that are already on Spotify to the scene while I work on a new song, and it's gonna sound a little bit different. In this search for my musical identity, I'm now trying more afro beats this time, so get tuned cause what comes is gonna be AMAZING! Instagram Facebook
- Black-Ken Says: It's My Party And I'll Cry If I Want To
Dynamic hip-hop recording artist and native Harlem rapper Black-Ken seeks to claim a spot among the prolific list of Harlem artists who've made a name for his city, doing so with stellar tunes like his first single since 2021, "Frenzy." The Millenial rapper produces and arranges his own work while infusing it with a unique and addictive trap sound, merging elements of the past and present. He's heavily influenced by 90s hip-hop and r&b, with a sharp trap edge that listeners have drooled over for the last decade. In true Black-Ken fashion, he's leaving us on our toes with captivating and magnetizing songs like his latest single, "Frenzy." It drenches the speakers with suspenseful synths, hard-hitting 808s, and conceptual bars that make the listener think twice. Songs like these are putting Black-Ken on the map as another leading Harlem artist. Hitting play on "Frenzy," this mysterious and slow-burn single kicks off with spooky keyboard melodies that drift into wavy synths and crisp drums. Black-Ken's cool, calm, and collected flow blesses the listeners with heaps of confidence and charisma, boasting so much ice that he feels like Gretzky. From his conceptual bars to the alluring production, Black-Ken has us hooked. It's a mid-tempo groove with a pristine sonic atmosphere that floats listeners onto cloud nine with his serene production and tightly-knit bars that'll make you crack a smile from time to time. This track is another solid addition to Black-Ken's list of clever, conceptual, and engaging creations. Do yourself a favor and dive into the icy stylings of Black-Ken and his latest single, "Frenzy," now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Black-Ken. We love the wavy and dreamy vibes in your latest single, "Frenzy." Did anything or anyone inspire you to create this atmospheric and conceptual single? Ke$ha inspired me. She went through a lotta sh*t, but she never let that get her down. Were there key points or messages you wanted to share with listeners when they heard "Frenzy?" What did you want them to take away from the song? Music generally… This song… It is just therapy for me. I know they got like online therapy and stuff now, but honestly, until recently, I could never even really afford that. It's just my therapy, and people happened to fw it. It's weird how people responded to it because, in your head, you always think that a moment like this will happen differently. The labels haven't recognized it yet, but Frenzy is PLATINUM in the streets. When they hear that beat come on at the party… Or the venue, people know some couches are about to get stepped on, some shit is about to get smashed, and a cathartic moment is about to happen, if you will. What was your experience creating the mysterious and chilling production for "Frenzy?" Did you work on this process entirely solo? I mean… Look at me, bro? I'm a mess. I don't have a lot of friends. If I had friends, I would work with them. So I guess the only person I trust is myself… and even that is an apprehensive relationship. How does "Frenzy" stand out from your other tracks? What makes this song different? "Frenzy" is one of the greatest songs of all time. It's one of those songs that, like, after I'm dead, people are still gonna bump this shit. You know I produced, composed, wrote, and engineered this song, right? You rarely have a song encapsulating every range of human emotions. Sadness, joy, rage, all of that. But I'm from Harlem. That's kind of just what we do. A lot of geniuses live here. We noticed that you hadn't released a track since "Text Turned Green" in March 2021. What have you been up to from then until the release of "Frenzy?" Haha, y'all do your research. That's funny. Well yeah, it's funny you ask. Around 2021 I was working a kind of dead-end job that I hated. I'm not the type to get depressed, but I was depressed. That's why if you listen to text turned green, it's a banger, but it's kind of a sad song, and it's part of my life. I was truly lost, and I didn't know where to go. I was smoking an ounce of weed every couple of days, no lie. So as I sat there, with a loaded pistol in my mouth, I thought to myself, "Black-Ken, you've got two options". Long story short, I enrolled at SAE (School of Audio Engineering) in Chelsea. And boy, that sh*t changed my life. My girl encouraged me to do it, but that was ultimately one of the most important decisions I ever made. I worked with some of the top producers in the game, and nobody can tell me shit at this point. So I tell people now if I can do it… Anyone can do it (Well, not anyone, but many people, some of y'all are just straight-up lazy). Instagram Facebook
- Jessy Barham Refuses To “Bow Down”
Metal music hits differently. It’s a genre that can change your mood with just a simple rift and an electric guitar. Jessy Barham knows that her latest single ‘’Bow Down’’ uses her influences from metal and folk to reflect all her feelings and speak out to the world. Jessy Barham is from San Diego, California. Her newest single was released on September 17, 2022, adding to a finite repertoire of heartfelt tunes. "Bow Down" is a song where she sings about her feelings and personal situations with some anger. There are moments in your life when things just seem normal; people settle for the simplest. It’s never too late to do something that excites you, and Jessy is the perfect example. Her song is about things inside that she has been keeping from everyone, and now she has decided to sing about that. Barham’s dedication and love for what she's doing inspire her to continue working and releasing way more music. "Bow Down" is a song dedicated to someone who hurt Jessy. She felt lonely and without freedom, angry because of all the years lost beside a person that was only hurting her. Life is hard for some people, and music will always be good therapy. Use Jessy’s hit as an example of being able to take some courage and speak for yourself. Life is too short, and it is not fair that we are being prisoners of someone else. Welcome to BuzzMusic Jessy Barham, and congratulations on your latest release, "Bow Down." What inspires you to make such powerful music? Where does all the feeling come from? Indie musicians like Birdy and Regina Spektor and symphonic metal artists like Within Temptation and Epica inspire me to make powerful, emotional music. I am also inspired by personal experiences. I like music that is emotional, meaningful, and powerful. I like music with a message that can speak to people. Can you share your creative process for "Bow Down?" Is there a person you are singing to? "Bow Down" wasn’t written about anyone in particular. However, after I wrote the song, I had an experience with a creepy guy on a dating app. He wanted me to be submissive and “bow down” to him. I wasn’t about to give my power away to him, so I blocked him. I wrote Bow Down before this experience, which is ironic. I wrote it about someone who is in an abusive relationship. My friend Sarah Bareno played guitar for the song, which was cool. She’s in a punk rock band, and this was our first collaboration. What drew you to music? I’ve loved music since I was little. My parents played with children’s CDs before I went to bed. I loved the music so much I didn’t want them to stop. I sang in the San Diego Children’s Choir when I was younger and began voice lessons in fifth grade. I’ve taken lessons at the same school, Kalabash, in La Jolla for 12 years! What I love about music is the ability to express yourself. You can express beautiful feelings but also uncomfortable feelings. I’m a quiet person, and it’s hard for me to express myself. However, I’m not shy with my music, and I’ll tell you about anything. What's next for you? I’m releasing an EP called Outsider in October/November. It will have four songs, two of which you’ve heard, Locked Door and Bow Down. The other two are "My Enemy" and "Puppet Girl." Instagram
- Luke Shrestha Brings The Sonic Spice In Zaryah’s New Hit, “Society Of Men”
Based in Los Angeles, California, award-winning record producer and songwriter Luke Shrestha (one-half of Pop Production duo Chapters, consisting of Simon Jay and Luke Shrestha) pumps out yet another hit, this time sparking the speakers with Zaryah's new single, "Society of Men." Luke Shrestha's impact on the industry is vast. He's worked on records that have amassed over 700 million streams while working with names like Tayler Holder, Faime, Zaryah, and Lavi$sh (co-signed by Drake). He's landed sync placements in entertainment like Euphoria, The Man From Toronto, Beyond the Edge, All American, Legacies, and ESPN. Now, he continues putting his stamp on the music industry with hard-hitting releases like Zaryah's new single, "Society of Men." This song is packed with themes of women empowerment and sees Zaryah expressing her distaste for living in a "Society of Men," even with tongue-in-cheek samples of Donald Trump stating, "Nobody respects women more than I do...nobody." Diving deeper into "Society of Men," the song brightly opens with an empowering vocal sample defining how "real men" don't slut shame, threaten, or belittle women. As the first verse blesses our ears, the groovy, plucky, and haunting pop sonics dance through the speakers. At the same time, Zaryah expresses the stressors and complications of living alongside egotistical, misogynistic men. The song's vibrant and bouncy hook unleashes the catchiest melodies while Zaryah continues giving it her all with powerful vocals paired with Luke Shrestha's dynamic and well-rounded production. His skilled arrangements bring this song to a whole other level, emphasizing the essential message Zaryah sings while keeping the listener locked in from start to finish. We encourage you to rise above all that's beneath you and move forward from those who don't serve us with help from Zaryah's new Chapters produced single, "Society of Men," now available on all digital streaming platforms. Welcome to BuzzMusic, Luke Shrestha. Your impact on the music industry is impressive. What led you to work with singer-songwriter Zaryah for her new single, "Society of Men?" Was this your first time working together? Thanks for having me! I've been working with Zaryah for almost four years now, and I think we've done over 30 songs together, which is insane. Society of Men is a crazy story because we actually started that song in 2018 in the middle of a 20-song project we were working on. We all knew once we had the concept of the "Society of Men," we had something special on our hands, but we never quite nailed the production and melodies. We worked on the song continuously for four years, trying to crack it, and finally, in 2022, we cracked it. Some songs take minutes to write, and others take years, but we never settled because we knew how important this song was to the world. What was your experience creating "Society of Men" alongside Zaryah? Zaryah has become like a sister to me, so the process of working on the song with her and my production partner Simon was so special. As I said, the process took 4 years, so it wasn't easy, but because we had so much trust in each other, we were all on the same page with each step of the process. Once we really cracked the song, we all knew that this was it. What does your typical creative process look like when working with artists? How do you help bring their vision to life? Typically for new artists, we like to really get in their heads and try to understand what they like musically. The easiest way to do this is to listen to what they are listening to and see what inspires them. We always ask new artists for a deck of songs, pictures, demos, or anything else that would help us understand them as an artist. After that, we start to put ideas together, whether it's creating a track first or writing a song. Each song we do is always different as far as the process of making the song, so we always let creativity lead. What is the best piece of advice you could give to upcoming producers who strive to land as many streams and collaborations as you have? What would help them get on the right path? I think the best piece of advice I could give is to never stop growing. There are so many intangibles in the music industry that we have no control over, such as making a number 1 record or winning a grammy. Instead of focusing on the results, I try to focus on the action and how I can grow as a person in every aspect of my life. I focus on learning more each day, meditating, studying, preparing, and doing anything else I can do to better myself and be ready for any situation that comes. That way, when the big moments arrive, I'm ready for them each time. What's next for you? The next year we are really focused on growing the artists we are currently working with. Zaryah is one of those artists that we believe is going to be the next big thing. We have some new songs we're currently working on with her, and I can't wait to see where her project goes in the coming months. Zaryah Instagram Luke Shrestha Instagram

Welcome to BuzzMusic, Jazz From The Valley. What an epic music video you've released with "Shake That." What inspired you to write this blazing and upbeat song, to begin with? I wanted to recapture some of the elements from the rappers of the 90s, and early 2000s that were talking about the things that you can relate to in everyday life and that would say things in a way without just flat out saying them. For example, the opening lines are about Social Media and what goes down in the DM’s. It is also about having fun, enjoying new experiences, and not taking yourself seriously. How important is it to "Shake That" every day? It’s essential to LIVE LIFE every day; you should always find time in your day to let go of the drama and the stress and “Shake That”. Where do you draw most of your inspiration to create your music? My inspiration is drawn from everywhere and all genres of music and artistry. I'm always inspired, from driving down the street, to everyday conversations with friends, to what happens in everyday life. If it inspires me, I can make it into a song, take a piece here and there, and make it into a song; you would never know where it came from. What message would you like people to take away from "Shake That?" You may not have noticed because it was spoken in Italian, but as I pay homage to Rick Ross, remember he is the Big Boss. What's next for you? Im currently in the studio, working on my EP set to come out at the top of 2023. Instagram Facebook
- Recharge Your Self-Love With Jazz Garcelle In “Love Me Back”
From Pittsburg to the world, R&B artist Jazz Garcelle makes us think about what we seek from beauty in her new single “Love Me Back.” Jazz Garcelle is concerned about how to help other people as an active member of her community, lecturing at her local church and at her work as an Instructional Aide. She takes that mission of doing good to others in her music, singing with powerful messages, and constantly perfecting her work. No wonder why she has so many nominations and awards in her career. “Love Me Back” is a Kylan Music production in which they managed to make this song as empowering as it is seductive. The R&B sounds make an enchanting ambiance that pairs perfectly with the inviting voice of Jazz Garcelle to convey to women that physical and emotional self-care are demonstrations of self-love. When listening to the song, diving into the waving melody of the R&B keys is easy. The holding notes make a slow track at the beginning that contrasts with the uptempo lyrics of Jazz Garcelle; thus, it highlights the vocals. Then she sings about how she doesn’t want men who seek fake bodies. Instead, she wants a real man who likes natural bodies. It is exciting when you get to the chorus, where the buzzing drums, the ethereal melody, and Jazz Garcelles’s vocals create pure glam. At that moment, you close your eyes for a few seconds and feel like you are floating while giving in to the magical sounds of “Love Me Back.” Whether you go to the gym or want to go under the knife to get the body you want, never forget that you are doing it for yourself and not following the standards of fake bodies. Maybe after that, we will go into what led to MSCD. What was your experience writing and creating the song "Michigan Scheming, California Dreaming?" Did you work alongside any producers during the process? G Flatt: The entire concept was an idea I pitched to Sharard. I always wanted to do something big as a project just needed someone with the experience to help me put it together. Sharard, being an actor and screenwriter himself, once I told him the story, just ran with it and instantly started writing it. We didn't work alongside any producers while making the song. Still, we worked with Onslaught Studios to map designs, locations, and market strategies before filming the project. Sharard Baker: As for the song, I just so happened to have already written a song called Michigan Scheming, California Dreaming depicting the different life I was around from Michigan to California. Once I heard Flatt's story, I knew this would be perfect for a soundtrack. We decided to name the project that we've been running ever since. What do you want your viewers to take away from your 6-part mini-movie? How do you want the series to impact them? Sharard Baker: For me, I want to be recognized as a new creative that's on his way. I want viewers to be entertained first and foremost, but then I want to give them a glimpse into our personal life because the story is loosely based on how we got to this point. G Flatt: I hope the project impacts them in a couple of different ways. I hope it makes them laugh and cry, and I want to leave them in suspense and clap for the underdog. We put all of these elements in these installments, and I want to make them feel it as they are watching it. What's next for you? October 28th, be on the lookout. I promise it's a vibe! Instagram
- Rodney Cox Jr Shows That Home Is Where The Heart Is In, “Going Home”
Rodney Cox Jr sings surrounded by the lights and stars of LA, but a part of his heart is still in Louisville, Kentucky. Now he expresses his longing for his home and loved ones in “Going Home.” Rodney Cox Jr was aiming for the film industry when he started writing stories that became songs, showing his creative skills and intimate relationship with the arts. He is covered by the love of his family and friends no matter where he goes and can put that joy in a story and music anyone can relate to and uplift their spirits as they listen to it. In his very first single, “Going Home,” Rodney Cox Jr blends the sounds of country and pop, taking the best from both the West Coast and the South to create a feel-good ambiance that starts as soon as you press the play button and stays with us much after the song ends. The initial roaring guitar places us by the highway, starting the engines to start the head back home. Rodney Cox Jr’s cheerful voice and the upbeat track make you feel only good vibes as he sings that money is not worth the time you spend far from your loved ones or in a place that you simply don’t like. “Going Home” is like a promise of that blissful moment when you finally get home, and they are waiting for you with a big hug. Listening to “Going Home” feels nostalgic and uplifting at the same time. It is the song you want to play when you are out there, far from home, working for your dreams but always with the warm memories of home in your heart. Hey, don’t give me that long face. Turn up the volume, play “Going Home,” and smile. Your home is with you. What was the most exciting moment of making "Going Home?" Had to be the recording process. I was just anxious to make something great with extraordinary musicians. How much was the selection of genres a reflection of your hometown and LA? I wasn't thinking of the genre when creating. I just wanted something that sounded good to me, and people didn't mind dancing to it when they heard it. But it definitely has a country twang to it, so it's fair to say Kentucky is represented for sure. Who would you say you wrote "Going Home" for? I wrote it for anyone who has been at work, school, a party, or anywhere else they feel like they want to get away from. I feel like everyone wants to get away and to their safe space every now and then. What do you miss the most when you are far from home? Family, more than anything. They're my foundation. Truly I wouldn't be able to create without them. What's next for you? Possibly a music video for Going Home. Maybe the release of another track. I'm still on the fence. Instagram TikTok
